WEDNESDAY NIGHT WARFARE 8

LIVE FROM WASHINGTON HALL – SEATTLE, WA
WEDNESDAY – SEPTEMBER 13, 2017
[/align]

The show begins with Blanche Patton and Tugg Porter making their way to the ring. The announce team says that the administration here in PNW has a huge announcement to make regarding the show next week. Blanche Patton takes the microphone and welcomes everyone to the show. She says that things are about to change for the better here in PNW, but before she can make any announcement, she needs the PNW Champion and the PNW Women’s Champion to make their way down to the ring. Liam Callaghan and Rose enter one after the other, both getting big pops. Tugg says that the announcement directly relates to the two of them, and who they will be defending their titles against next week. Both champions give him a look like “bring it on” and then Tugg calls for Konstantine and Veeka Manns to come down. They slip into the ring to a chorus of boos from the fans.

Tugg says that next week PNW will be holding its first supershow. It will be called Warzone: Portland, and will be the biggest show to date. The PNW Tag Team Champions will defend against the number one contenders who will be determined later tonight, and the final round of the PNW Championship #1 Contendership will take place. A large part of the roster will also compete in a battle royal to determine who earns the right to challenge for the CWC Junior Heavyweight Championship when Mark Storm comes to down the week after next.

He turns to Liam. Tugg says that Liam Callaghan may be young, but he is the hardest working, toughest son of bitch in this company, and that’s why he’s the champion. But Konstantine has his number. He’s beaten Liam in the middle of the ring clean as a whistle, and was not pinned when Liam became the official PNW Champion at CWC Worldwide. For that reason, he wants to stick Liam Callaghan and Konstantine in the ring one more time to find out which one of them is the better man. He says the best way to do that is to make the match a last man standing match!

The crowd pops as Blanche moves towards Rose and Veeka Manns. Blanche says that Veeka was dominant last week in the tag team match against Rose, and she is also the PNW wrestler who emerged from the 70 wrestler battle royal at CWC Pacific as the winner. Blanche says that a track record like that deserves a reward, and that reward will come at Warzone: Portland when she takes on Rose for the PNW Women’s Championship.

Rose turned towards Veeka, but Veeka snatched a microphone and got in her face. Veeka said that the men get a special stipulation for their match, why shouldn’t the women? The crowd popped. Rose took the microphone from Veeka’s hand with force, and Tugg had to hold Veeka back for a moment. Rose said that she was thinking the same thing. And since the two of them are known as strikers, why not make the match a first blood match?

Another big pop from the crowd. Blanche Patton said that if the fans want it, they can have it. The PNW Women’s Championship will be defended in a first blood match!

The PNW music picks up as we get ready to head into the commercial break. The champions and the challengers stare each other down with Blanche and Tugg making sure no one throws a punch.

CALI-KATE vs. SANSA MADSEN

Cali-Kate came into this match hoping to get revenge on Sansa Madsen for ruining her shot at the PNW Championship last week during the tournament. Sansa was ready to prove that passing on her for the tournament spot was a mistake. Cali-Kate took control of the match early on with some fast paced offense, but Madsen was able to scrap her way back into the match but it was short lived, as Kate came rushing back into control. Kate seemed like she was ready to put this one away, but Sansa rolled her up and managed to pick up a flash pinfall to win the match. She scurried out of the ring, but neither of the women seemed pleased with the ending.

WINNER: SANSA MADSEN

Tugg Porter is in the office sifting through some papers when he is approached by Alyssa Davies, back from vacation as she promised last week. She looked tanned and ready to go. Alyssa asks Tugg when she is getting her Women’s Championship match. Tugg tells her to sit down, but she says she doesn’t want a conversation she wants a promise. Tugg tells her that she has been transferred to Slaughterhouse Wrestling. Alyssa’s jaw drops. She says that she REFUSES to go there, and goes on and on about how she will not wrestle in deathmatches. Tugg says that it’s just the way it’s going to be. Davies gets on her knees and begs not to be traded. Tugg takes a moment and then tells Alyssa that if she wants to stay in PNW, she will need to win a very tough match next week at Warzone: Portland. Alyssa says she will do whatever it takes. Tugg sighs and says he’ll look for an opponent. She gives him a big hug and then moves out of the office.

AVA TREMBLAY vs. CHRISTINE

This match starts off relatively even, but Ava Tremblay is able to take control of a debuting Christine with her size and strength. Tremblay has been struggling for a while in PNW, and this looks like a prime opportunity to pick up a big win.But Christine is the type of wrestler to take a beating and then strike when she sees an opportunity. Sue York is at ringside screaming at her client not to lose her debut match in PNW. Christine uses this as fuel and rakes the eyes before finally connecting with Dark Matter for the victory.

WINNER: CHRISTINE

Sansa Madsen and Cali-Kate have been called into Blanche Patton’s office. Blanche says that the rollup victory is indeed a victory, but she wants these two to really settle their differences once and for all so that the division can move forward. At Warzone: Portland, the two will face off in a no disqualification match. Both Sansa and Kate seem pleased with the announcement.

F.E.A.R. vs. PIKE PLACE COLLECTIVE

Asher Crosby and Jax Levin want to know why fear interrupted their match last week, but neither Vine nor Cody seem interested in giving them an answer. As soon as the bell rings F.E.A.R. rush to the other side and knock Levin off of the apron. They proceed to double team Crosby until the referee threatens to disqualify them. They connect with First Encounter and the referee shoo’s Vine out of the ring while Cody goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Levin pulls Crosby out of the ring and vows revenge.

WINNER: F.E.A.R.

#1 CONTENDERSHIP - PNW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS
PARKER BROS INC. vs. THE GEAR SOCIETY

With a shot at the PNW Tag Team Championships on the line, both of these teams are ready to go at it knowing that they already have the title pedigree to back them up. This match goes back and forth until Gear Gamma enters the ring, and then the big man is able to use his size and strength to overpower both Marty and Jesse. However, after some shrewd double teams Gamma is nursing an injured leg and is far less effective than normal. Agatha Edison tags back in and battles back to a climax with Parker Bros almost on her own. The numbers are getting to her, and she has to trust an injured Gear Gamma with the fate of this match. He enters, and after a bit of a struggle he manages to peg Marty with a big boot and slam Jesse down with a chokeslam for the victory.

WINNER: THE GEAR SOCIETY

BEN KINGSLEY vs. DEX RUSSEY

This semi-final match in the #1 Contendership tournament seemed to be going Dex Russey’s direction until Mia Miley got involved. Kingsley as able to seize the upperhand, but Russey managed to kick out of one of his finishing moves. The crowd was behind Dex as he began scrapping his way back into control of the match, but Kingsley connected with a rolling elbow out of nowhere that was the nail in the coffin. He lifted Dex into the Rose City Kiss and advanced to the final round which will take place in his home city of Portland next week.

#1 CONTENDERSHIP TOURNAMENT
ALEX MADSEN vs. JACKSON FLECK

Madsen and Fleck both received good reactions from the crowd tonight, and their match only improved their standing with the fans. It was back and forth for a while, with Madsen able to counter Fleck’s raw strength with veteran savvy. But Fleck always managed to power through and keep Madsen on the defensive. Madsen struck from out of nowhere with the jumping cutter, but in his one mistake of the night, he didn’t pull Fleck into the middle of the ring. Fleck got his foot on the ropes and rolled out of the ring until he was ready. Fleck was finally able to secure an impressive submission victory with Bro-tal Recall to advance to the finals against Ben Kingsley.

WINNER: JACKSON FLECK
(ADVANCES TO FINAL ROUND)

PNW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
OSWALD & OSWALD vs. TEXAS WRECKING CREW

Despite losing last week, TWC were confident that they could get their tag team titles back tonight. Oswald and Oswald started off the match playing defense, but they know how to scrap their way back into the lead just as well as anyone. Mack Brody did a lot of damage to Xavier Oswald and it seemed like they were trying to keep him targeted. But Xavier broke away and managed to get Iris tagged in. She came in very hot and managed to clear the ring and plant The Technician with a curb stomp to successfully defend the titles.

After the match, however, TWC snapped and assaulted Iris and Xavier. This ended with both of the team members being sent through the announce tables. TWC said if they can’t have the belts, no one can. The show ends with medical crews tending to Xavier and Iris.

WINNER: OSWALD & OSWALD
(STILL PNW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS)
