![]() ![]() LIBERTY PRO WRESTLING PRESENTS... SHIPPIN’ OFF TO BOSTON! LIVE ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 23RD, 2017 FROM THE MATTHEWS ARENA IN BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS MATCH ONE: SINGLES MATCH Joey Barber vs. Alexis Mercer The first ever Liberty supershow kicks off with Joey Barber versus Alexis Mercer. Barber slipped up in his debut against Jakob Alexander but he still looked impressive. While Mercer tries to rebound from a string of losses. Who will come out the winner? MATCH TWO: SINGLES MATCH Larclan vs. Jakob Alexander Jakob Alexander might have taken some time off from in-ring action, but he showed last week that he sure hasn’t lost a step. Larclan started off hot in Liberty but he’s fallen off a bit lately. Will his luck change against the decorated Jakob Alexander? MATCH THREE: TAG TEAM MATCH Avery Smith & Emily Jackson vs Black Lightning Black Lightning came up short last week for a shot at the tag titles, but they’re looking to rebound at Shippin’ Off To Boston in hopes of earning a title opportunity. Avery Smith and Emily Jackson are an unlikely pairing, but the two are expected to get along. Will they become a formidable duo like Black Lightning or will this formation backfire? MATCH FOUR: SINGLES MATCH Ellie Poe vs. Seth Lawless Ellie Poe has been impressive in Liberty Pro so far but she has had to deal with Seth Lawless constantly harassing her. Now the two finally get to have a match together. Will Ellie get her revenge or will Seth back up everything that he’s said about her? Ellie will have her hands full with Seth, knowing that he has #TheSociety in his corner. MATCH FIVE: LADDER MATCH FOR THE ANARCHY CHAMPIONSHIP Warren Corbett vs. Vitor Mata vs. Carina Eventide © Carina Eventide has proven to be the perfect person to hold the Anarchy Championship so far. She has impressed a great deal, defending the title every week since she won it. Now she defends it against Vitor Mata and Warren Corbett. Corbett came close to winning the Anarchy title in it’s inaugural match, while Vitor Mata has impressed during his time in Liberty. Vitor might have lost to Becky Balfour last week, but he showed that he can hang with the best of the best in Liberty Pro. Will he become the new Anarchy Champion? Or will it be Warren? They’ll have to take it from Carina, who has no plans in letting the belt go. MATCH SIX: GOTHAM CHAMPIONSHIP Ashleigh Powell vs Isabella Strickland The Gotham Championship Tournament comes to it’s end with Ashleigh Powell taking on Isabella Strickland. The two impressed in their prior two matches to get here and they have both shown that they are worthy of this championship. But only one can walk away the first ever Gotham Champion. Who will it be? MATCH SEVEN: TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH The Brady Bros vs The Legacies © This match goes all the way back to the beginning of Liberty Pro. While Cami McGatha has been dating one of The Brady Bros, Wren Sweet has been on a warpath to take the two brothers out. This thing has been complicated and heated and despite the fact that The Legacies beat The Brady Bros for the Tag Team Championships, The Brady’s earned this rematch. Can they capture the gold? MATCH EIGHT: SINGLES MATCH Alicia Lukas vs Jacob Daniels Alicia Lukas and Jacob Daniels’ rivalry began in the CWC battle royal. The two have had several back and forth heated exchanges since then and now they are finally getting the chance to fight one on one. This is one of the feud’s that has heated up on Twitter as of late and it will be exciting to see these two fight each other, as it is expected to be a hellacious battle. Can the Southern Belle, Alicia, survive the Chicago monster, Jacob Daniels? MATCH NINE: SINGLES MATCH Ivy Warner vs Felix Vialpando Felix has continually harassed Ivy since he made his debut in Liberty Pro. Several times he’s cost her matches, especially last week when he walked out on their tag match. There have been several verbal shots that have come from both sides between these two as well, especially over Twitter, where Ivy has also gotten under Felix’s skin. One of the most memorable moments is when Ivy got ahold of Felix’s notes and read them out loud to the Liberty crowd. Now these two will settle their differences in the ring. HEADLINE: BOSTON STREET FIGHT Brendan Callaghan vs Nathan Callaghan This match dates all the way back to when Nathan Callaghan opened Empire Pro and signed his son, Brendan Callaghan there. Brendan had been acting up; cheating in matches and giving Nathan a hard time as well, disrespecting him and calling him a bad father. These things spilled over here into Liberty Pro, where it has become apparent that Nathan Callaghan, the owner of Liberty, has had enough. Despite being fifty years old, Nathan will brawl it out with his oldest son in a Boston Street Fight. The question at hand is if Brendan is fully ready for this match after Nathan beat him down with a barbed wired bat a few weeks ago and then there have been questions if Nathan attacked Brendan during his match with Scarlett when the lights went off. Will this family feud end here? Will Brendan finally show his father the error of his ways? Or will Nathan teach his son a lesson in respect? MAIN EVENT: TRIPLE THREAT FOR THE LIBERTY CHAMPIONSHIP Becky Balfour © vs Melissa Reeves vs Zeke Reed This match dates back to the opening Liberty show, when Becky Balfour eliminated Zeke and Melissa to become the Liberty Pro Champion in the winners battle royal for the championship. Becky might have won the match by herself in the end, but she had a lot of help from her #Society family throughout the match, and throughout the months as well. Zeke Reed and Melissa would end up fighting at CWC Worldwide for the number one contender spot when Becky interfered and ended the match. This prompted Nathan to make the match a Triple Threat Match. Melissa and Zeke haven’t lost a match since then and neither of them have lost in a one on one match up during their tenure in Liberty. Melissa meanwhile has become the FAW Champion, showing that she is at the top of her game. Zeke has been unstoppable and as for Becky, she has already successfully defended her championship twice, including once in a cage match. Will she be healthy enough to defend the belt at Shippin’ Off To Boston? Will her ‘family’ play a factor? Or will Melissa or Zeke overcome and become the champion? |
