CWC: GLOBAL WARFARE, FINALS
Live from London, England!
01 October, 2017.

BACKSTAGE
The camera centered on Kenzi Lacklan, one half of the Empire Pro Wrestling Tag Team Champions. She was already dressed in her ring gear and ready to go.

Kenzi Grey-Lacklan: Global Warfare has been AWESOME! I have enjoyed my time being here and having the opportunity to represent Empire Pro to the entire CWC family! I hope that I have performed in a way that showcases my brand and my dedication to what this tournament stands for.

She drops her head, deep in thought for a moment as she recalls her road to reach this point in the competition.

Kenzi Grey-Lacklan: I told everyone before that my journey didn’t have a positive start here. I was told by my company that my contributions were worthless and my skills were subpar. I entered Global Warfare filled with doubt about who I was and why I was even here. Those doubts were washed away inside the ring when I faced some of the best that CWC had to offer. I know who I am now…

She glanced at her tag team title, and then back to the camera.

Kenzi Grey-Lacklan: I am the woman that came here and represented her brand with honor, even when others didn’t respect me! I am the woman that showed everyone here and back in EPW that I was worthy of none only carrying this EPW Title…but I was also worthy of being a contender for the CWC International Title!

She gave a shrug.

Kenzi Grey-Lacklan: Misha, I wished you luck when the tournament started and I wished you luck today. I didn’t expect you to acknowledge me, thank me, or say anything at all. That’s fine, I am secure in the knowledge that after our match is over that Empire will be moving on to the next round. Maybe it’s you Misha…and maybe it’s not…I guess we will see.

Kenzi smiled and gave a wink as she walked out of frame for the final time for Global Warfare.

MATCH 1: QUARTER-FINAL ONE
Misha LeCavalier (Empire) vs Kenzi Grey (Empire)
This all Empire contest began with Kenzi trying to persuade Misha into a handshake. LeCavalier, skeptical of Grey's true intention, refused the shake and instead insisted they lock up. Kenzi reluctantly agreed and slowly moved to grab Misha's hands - only to instead knee her in the gut at the last second. Kenzi forced Misha backward with several blows, before whipping her across the ring and catching her with a back body drop on the return.

Kenzi went for a chinlock, but Misha stood and yanked Grey down with a jawbreaker. She stood and turned, as Kenzi held her bottom jaw, and struck her down with a forearm. A couple of stomps to the knee of Grey left chest exposed for an elbow drop. Misha made the pin, but it was just the one. She quickly stood and pulled Kenzi up, dropping her with a suplex. She pulled Grey up, and Kenzi tried to counter with a kick, only to suffer a dragon screw. Misha dropped an elbow down onto Kenzi's knee, and then stomped on her hand, leaving her in pain in a couple of places.

LeCavalier looked to be in control. She waited for Grey to stand and ran in - but her high roundhouse missed, her kick only striking thin air. Kenzi caught her on the return with a belly-to-belly suplex, into the turnbuckle, leaving Misha flat on her chest and motionless. Kenzi pulled Misha up and pushed her up against the turnbuckle. She hooked the arm and lifted Misha, landing a massive superplex which left both competitors flat out on their backs.

A few moments passed before Kenzi stirred. She looked back and saw Misha moving already. She pulled herself up with the ropes and watched Misha groggily stand. Grey charged in, but Misha caught Kenzi with a powerslam and transitioned into her Rondo of Terror IV (Headscissors Kimura)! Grey screamed and kicked, stuck in the hold. Misha yanked, trying to force the submission, but Grey refused to tap. Kenzi started to fade. The referee raised her hand, it flopped down once. Twice. No! She found it in her to fight back. She pulled both them toward the ropes and finally broke the hold with her hand on the bottom rope.

Misha rolled away and grabbed Kenzi's ankle, yanking her into the middle of the ring. She went to reapply the hold, but Kenzi countered with an elbow. She rolled away and stood. As Misha rose to meet her, Kenzi landed her supergirl punch. Misha flopped backward, and Grey fell down to her knees, trying to catch her breath. Looking to end things, Kenzi went for The Block Buster (Head Scissor DDT) - but Misha caught the legs! She slammed Grey down into the canvas and rolled away. As Kenzi stood, Misha struck with The Queen Slayer (King Kong Lariat)! Kenzi dropped back, hard, and Misha fell to her knees before making the pin, picking up the three.

Winner: Misha LeCavalier (pin @ 12:54)

Misha rolled off of Kenzi and lay on her back, trying to catch her breath. She stood, a smug satisfaction on her face, and departed toward the back. Kenzi eventually sat up and was consoled by Sarah Lacklan.

ON THE 'TRON
The feed slowly faded in. The first thing the audience was introduced to was a massive glass conference room table. On the right side of the table sat Misha LeCavalier. She wore a black and gray striped tunic with accompanying Michael Kors Blaze open-toed booties. Renowned journalist and Culture correspondent Ashley Kruger sat opposite the wrestler. She had on a short black dress with a matching light leather jacket. It appeared as if the two had been speaking for a while already, based on their laid back demeanors and postures. The audio kicked in as Ms. Kruger began speaking once more.

Ashley Kruger: Misha, you’ve been at this wrestling thing for a spell. Whether you’re cracking or dodgy (in certain peers eyes), you’ve left quite the impression on fans and your peers alike. One question I really have for you: are you fit to be a professional wrestler?

Ashley’s initial question caused Misha to raise an eyebrow. Regardless, Ms. Kruger pushed forward.

Ashley Kruger: Additionally, have you truly realised your full potential as a wrestler? If so, what’s that like? You are far from rubbish, if we were to define you. You’ve been rather posh both inside and outside of the ring, you’ve commanded a respect all of your own. Even with your family being rather prominent, you’ve managed to stay ahead of the curve at all times.

Misha leaned back in her seat a bit as she pondered the answer to her first question.

Misha LeCavalier: Am I fit to be a professional wrestler? I have never actually been asked that question before in all of my years of wrestling and traveling.

She let out a small laugh.

Misha LeCavalier: Professional wrestling was not my first love. I had other aspirations as a child; I intended to be a doctor. However, I was aware that seeing me step into the ring and wrestle was something that make my father immensely proud. And therefore, I turned my eyes away from those old dreams as young teen, and I acquired new ones within this sport.

There was a brief pause.

Misha LeCavalier: Whether someone is fit or not is subjective. However, here is what is certain—professional wrestling is my life. I wake up thinking about stepping inside that ring; and I constantly train my ass off so that I can be prepared to do so. While it was not my first love, I did fall in love with the sport after some time. It is that love and passion for the sport coupled with my aggressive and competitive nature that has brought me this far in my career.

There was another pause as Misha’s brain pieced her thoughts together.

Misha LeCavalier: A great deal of shit fell into my lap earlier this year. Sometimes it was agonizing. Sometimes it was stressful. But the thing kept me moving forward, the thing stopped me from going insane, was knowing that I’d be back in that ring within a few days time. Because when I am inside that ring, there’s little worry or stress. My inhibitions are washed away. In the ring I am free—I am home. If anything, that is what makes me fit. I hope that answer is suffice for you.

Ashley nodded her head. Having been given a sign of affirmation, Misha moved on to the next question.

Misha LeCavalier: If I am being completely honest with myself, then I would have to no, I have not realized my full potential.

She nodded her head.

Misha LeCavalier: I appreciate your words of praise; that is a rarity coming from you. And yes, I have indeed accomplished a great within my time in the sport. But for every accomplishment I’ve realized, there are one or two that I have let slip away from me.

There was a brief pause.

Misha LeCavalier: I am sick and tired of that. Sick and and tired…

Misha ran her fingers through her hair.

Misha LeCavalier: It is high time that I start realizing that full potential. That is why I have fought with such urgency over the past eight or nine months. And that is reason why I’ve fought with such ferocity throughout Global Warfare.

She nodded once again.

Misha LeCavalier: This tournament is one that I can win; and I am going to do everything in my power to do so. As cliche as this might sound, my opponents in this tournament are going to have to kill me to prevent me from advancing. And based on my match at Throes of Perdition, even that may not stop me…

The two continued speaking as the audio and video feed cut out.

MATCH 2: QUARTER-FINAL TWO
Leah Taylor (OPW) vs Oliver Quinn (CWL)
The match begins with Taylor and Quinn staring each other down with intensity. They lock up as soon as the bell rings. Quinn throws Taylor off of him easily, sending her against the ropes. Taylor stares daggers at Quinn, holding her head. They circle each other and lock up again. Quinn manhandles Taylor with a hip toss, sending her near the corner. Taylor does not look happy. They circle each other again and go for another lock up but this time Taylor manages to go behind Quinn for a waist-lock. Quinn struggles but only briefly. He powers out of the hold, wrings Taylor's wrist, and pulls her in for the Painkiller (Half Nelson Backbreaker) for a 2 count.

Quinn forces Taylor in the corner and softens her up with shoulder thrusts to the gut. Quinn whips her hard to the opposite corner. Quinn charges at Taylor but she makes him eat her boot. It's Taylor turn to charge at Quinn but he catches her with the Line in the Sand (Flatliner) for another 2 count. Quinn forces Taylor back to her feet but she surprises him with a Gannosuke Clutch for a 2 count. The only one to get back to their feet, Quinn tries to grab Taylor but she surprises him again with the Bridging Prawn Hold for another 2 count. Frustrated, Quinn dives at Taylor with a double axe handle. He traps her in a front face-lock and goes for a suplex. Taylor fights it and manages to lock in a Guillotine Choke. Quinn struggles as Taylor forces him to the mat. Quinn eventually overpowers her and smashes her against the corner back-first. Quinn brings Taylor to the middle of the ring and hits the Quintessential (Rolling Release Suplex) for a 2 count.

Quinn stalks Taylor from a distance. As soon as she gets up, Quinn smashes her in the face with the Breaker Boot (Claymore Kick). Unfortunately, Taylor was too close to the ropes and she ends up falling out of the ring. A frustrated Quinn goes after her despite the referee telling him not to. Quinn grabs a barely conscious Taylor but she ends up locking in the Rolling Calf Slicer from out of nowhere. Quinn screams in pain as there are no ropes to break the hold. The referee slides out and reminds Taylor they're not in the ring. Taylor lets Quinn go and groggily slides back in the ring.  The referee starts counting out Quinn who's having a hard time getting back to his feet. Taylor slides back out and grabs him, telling him she's going to help him back in the ring. Quinn doesn't want her help and uppercuts her. He hits the Finishing Blow (Powerbomb to the apron) on Taylor that makes the crowd wince. Quinn pulls himself back in the ring with help from the bottom rope as the referee starts to count Taylor out.

Taylor manages to slide back in the ring at the count of 7. Quinn grabs her and sets her up for The Pinnacle (Double Underhook Piledriver) but Taylor fights out of it. She reverses it and manages to get Quinn up for Crash Landing (Air Raid Crash) but he clubs her back and turns it around for another attempt at The Pinnacle (Double Underhook Piledriver). Quinn tries to lift her up but Taylor is fighting him. Taylor manages to turn it into the Silver Fern (Rivera Cloverleaf) and Quinn screams in pain. Quinn is having a hard time getting out of it. He tries to fight it but Taylor has the hold locked in. Quinn struggles but eventually pulls himself and Taylor to the ropes. The referee forces Taylor to break the hold and she crumbles to the mat. The referee starts counting down the competitors. They both struggle but get back to their feet. Quinn charges at Taylor for the Breaker Boot (Claymore Kick) but she ends up turning it into the Crash Landing (Air Raid Crash) for the victory.

Winner: Leah Taylor (pin @ 9:52)

After the match, both competitors struggle to stand up. Taylor uses the ropes to get back to her feet while Quinn stays on the mat, holding his leg. The referee raises Taylor's hand before checking in on Quinn. Taylor celebrates on her feet for a while before she goes to check on Quinn as well. She ends up helping him get back up and the two hug, with Quinn telling her she deserves the win. Quinn raises Taylor's hand in a show of respect before getting helped to the back by the referee. Taylor celebrates her victory alone.

BACKSTAGE
Leah Taylor is walking backstage, holding the back of her neck with one hand and her stomach with the other, when Mercy Williams walks up to her, clapping her hands. Leah heaves an annoyed sigh as Mercy speaks to her.

MERCY WILLIAMS:
"Well done, Leah. Well done."

LEAH TAYLOR:
"What do you want, Mercy? I'm not in the mood right now."

MERCY WILLIAMS:
"Easy, darling. I just wanted to congratulate you. After all, it's just you and me now, representing Outback Pro Wrestling, you also representing New Zealand while I'm also representing Australia. It writes itself, this thing we have here. Maybe it's destiny. Who knows? All I know is that I'm going to beat Dante Cutler in that ring later tonight and then either Big Banter or Caspian Kace, I don't care, so you better make sure you beat Misha LeCavalier because I'll be waiting for you in the finals."

Mercy smirks before blowing Leah a kiss. The Emerald Jewel then leaves New Dawn's lone female member on her own. Leah raises an eyebrow, sighs, and shakes her head. She starts walking again, presumable to the trainer's room.

MATCH 3: QUARTER-FINAL THREE
Big Banter (Japan) vs Caspian Kace (REBELLION)
At the start of the match, both competitors adopt very different approaches. Big Banter, knowing he has the size and strength advantage, tries to overpower Caspian Kace. Similarly, Caspian tries to play into his own strengths. Being a lot faster than his foe, he charges at him at full speed. It doesn't have the desired outcome though, as it's almost like he's running into a brick wall. He crumples against the mat, but he gets up to his feet almost instantly. He charges at Big Banter again, but it yields similar results. Big Banter capitalises on this, as he pulls Kace to his feet before whipping him into the corner of the ring. He follows up with a corner clothesline, which leaves Caspian stirring against the turnbuckle. Banter takes full advantage, as a double underhook suplex drops Caspian onto the mat. Big Banter follows this up with a snap elbow drop, which leaves Kace gasping for air. Big Banter drops down to make the cover, but it only produces a two count.

Having kicked out of the pin attempt, Caspian begins to crawl towards the ropes. Big Banter isn't ready to let him up to his feet yet though, as he grabs him by the ankle and pulls him back towards the middle of the ring. He wraps his arms around Kace's waist and tries hoisting him into the air, but Caspian is able to squirm free in time. Confused, Big Banter looks around trying to find his opponent. When he does find him, it's slightly too late as he walks into a superkick. Having taken the larger Banter off of his feet, Caspian decides the best course of action is to scale the turnbuckle. When Big Banter reaches his feet, he takes flight. A diving crossbody takes Big Banter down – or so it seemed. Big Banter is able to roll through and throw Caspian onto his shoulders. He sets up for a fireman's carry takedown, but several quick elbows to the side of his head is enough to convince him to put Kace down. He's slightly groggy when he does so, and Caspian is able to take advantage of this. He takes Big Banter down with a northern lights suplex, bridging into the cover. He doesn't manage anything beyond a count of two.

Big Banter kicks out, but Caspian Kace is quick to react. He steps onto the apron and sets up for a springboard crossbody, but as soon as he leaps off of the top rope, Big Banter rolls out of the ring to regain his composure. Unfazed by this, Caspian decides to leap out of the ring and take Banter down with a suicide dive. He then faces the difficult task of rolling Big Banter back into the ring, which he does eventually manage to do. He climbs to the top rope for another diving crossbody, which this time takes him down. Caspian stays on top of him, trying for the pin. But a three count it is not, as Big Banter rolls his shoulder up.

Kace struggles, but is able to pull Big Banter up to his feet. He connects with a superkick, which doesn't take Big Banter down to his feet. This allows Caspian to charge at him and take him down with a leg lariat. He then goes up top again, intending to connect with a diving axe handle. Unfortunately for him, Big Banter's arsenal of moves includes his “Big Banter Boot” finisher, which he can – and does – hit out of thin air. The move catches everyone by surprise, even himself. It's a sweet connection, as it almost flips Kace inside out. Big Banter rolls his opponent onto his back and hooks the leg, securing the inevitable three count.

Winner: Big Banter (pin @ 11:12)

MATCH 4: QUARTER-FINAL FOUR
Mercy Williams (OPW) vs Dante Cutler (REBELLION)
A collar-and-elbow tie up starts the match as soon as the bell rings. Mercy Williams gets control as she transitions behind Dante Cutler with a hammerlock. She quickly follows through by dropping down and taking Cutler along for the ride with a drop toe hold. Scrambling over, Williams applies a chinlock on Cutler and holds it tightly in the center of the ring. Mercy uses this opportunity to talk down at Dante and trash him, specifically taking shots at his dancing abilities. As she continues to do this, the London crowd starts to rally for Cutler to fight back.

Once the chant starts rolling, Dante finds himself slowly fighting back up to his feet, stomping along to the rhythm from the crowd. Back on his feet, Cutler breaks free from Williams’ grasp with a elbow to her midsection. Dante puts her down with a snapmare and hits a dropkick to the seated Mercy. Making a rookie mistake, Cutler tries for some immediate flash once Williams is on the mat with his Electrifying Gravity (Standing Shooting Star Leg Drop), but Mercy was able to roll out of harm’s way. She tries to capitalize with a quick pin attempt on Cutler, but he gets his shoulder up just after the one count.

The two wrestlers get back up at about the same time and meet with a double clothesline. Both go down, but kip right back up to an applause from the audience. A brief staredown before they close the gap and start firing forearms back and forth. Dante starts getting the upper hand as he begins backing Mercy up into the ropes and then sends her across the ring. He tries to set up for something on the rebound, but Williams is ready and she counters it into a wheelbarrow stunner! Cutler goes flying up after the impact and Mercy makes a cover, but Dante kicks out just after the two count much to Williams’ displeasure.

She isn’t too disheartened though as Williams quickly gets back up to her feet for her Mercy On Me (Split-legged Leg Drop) and stayed on for another pin on Cutler, but again, he got his shoulder up after the two. Frustrated, Mercy gets right in the referee’s face, but somehow calms herself down and get back into focus of the match. She gets right back into the action, stomping on the injured leg of Dante Cutler! Mercy tries for a sharpshoot, but Dante manages to kick her away. Cutler is just getting to his feet when Williams sees an opportunity and she runs in, looking for her bicycle kick, but Dante just sidesteps it and Williams gets her foot caught up on the top rope.

With Mercy still up in the ropes, Dante leaps up from behind, and slams her to the mat with a neckbreaker. Williams rolls out of the ring before Cutler can inflict any more damage and she stays down on the floor, trying to recover. That’s when Dante gets onto the apron and comes running for a kickflip moonsault! He quickly lifts her up and throws Mercy into the ring, hooking her legs, but Dante only gets a two count. Cutler wastes no time picking Williams up off the mat and hooking his arm around her neck, looking for his Ursa Major, but as Dante lifts Mercy up, she drives her knee down right into his head.

Landing on her feet behind him, Mercy hits a chop block on the bad left leg. Cutler goes kneeling, yelling out in pain as Williams picks Dante right up and signals for her Mercy Kill! But just before she can connect with it, Cutler reaches out and grabs onto the ropes. Dante floats himself over to the ring apron and hits an elbow that knocks Mercy back before jumping back into the ring with a springboard dropkick. It doesn’t knock Williams down, but it sends her flying back into a ring corner, setting her up for a Guns of Brixton (Running Corner Dropkick)! Mercy collapses to the mat and Dante pulls her away from the ropes, hooking the leg, and picks up the win.

Winner: Dante Cutler (PINFALL @ 12:37)

After the bell rings, Dante jumps up to his feet to celebrate his victory, but once the adrenaline wears off, his left leg nearly buckles underneath him. The winning dropkick adding some unneeded damage to that leg. The referee goes to help, but Cutler says he doesn’t need it and goes back to celebrating.

MATCH 5: SEMI-FINAL ONE
Misha LeCavalier (Empire) vs Leah Taylor (OPW)
The match began with a very high-spirited Leah taking the fight to Misha, with several strikes, into a snap suplex. She transitioned into a chinlock. Misha struggled to stand, but managed to elbow Leah back off of her. She ran and splatted Taylor with a single-leg dropkick.

Picking Leah back up, Misha scored her hammerlock DDT. She went for a pin, scoring a two. LeCavalier was quickly back to her feet, but Leah caught her off guard with a jawbreaker. She stood and cracked Misha with a knee, transitioning into a neckbreaker. Misha quickly stood, though seemed a little disoriented. She walked into Leah's rolling calf slicer! Misha pulled at the canvas, trying to escape the hold. Leah cranked the leg. LeCavalier pulled them both forward through sheer will, and grabbed the bottom rope. Leah broke the hold, but stood and dragged Misha back away from the rope. As she went for the calf slicer again, Misha rolled her up into a quick pin, scoring a two!

Leah kicked free and both women stood. Misha went for a punch, but Leah ducked. She caught LeCavalier with a gannosuke clutch, rolling her up into the pin. Another two! Misha slowly stood and took a hard kick to the face from Taylor, sending her down to her back. She grabbed Misha's legs, but Misha kicked at her, staggering her backward. LeCavalier stood and landed a hard forearm strike. As Leah stumbled she lifted her up onto her shoulders, looking for the When you Fell From Grace (One Winged Angel), but Taylor wriggled free and landed behind Misha. She span her and landed a gut kick.

Leah went for her Crash Landing (Air Raid Crash)...but Misha wrapped her legs around Taylor's waist and yanked at her arm, breaking her hold. The pair fell, with Misha locking Leah into her Rondo of Terror II (Body Trapped Armbar)! Taylor tried to fight back, but the expertly applied hold left her with nowhere to go. Misha yanked the arm back a little more, and Leah reluctantly tapped.

Winner: Misha LeCavalier (submission @ 14:47)

Misha released the hold and rolled to her knees. She quietly smiled to herself, before she headed to the back.

BACKSTAGE
Leah Taylor is sitting on a bed in the trainer's room when OPW's Rebel Courney arrives with a microphone in hand. Leah greets Rebel with a smile

REBEL COURTNEY:
"Leah, tonight, you impressed everyone by becoming the final OPW representative in the tournament, outlasting Mercy Williams who wasn't able to get past her opponent in her quarter final match. Unfortunately, Misha LeCavalier eliminated you from this tournament just seconds ago. Your thoughts?"

LEAH TAYLOR:
"Uhh, yeah, thanks, Rebel. It's an honor and a great privilege to have been the final OPW representative in the tournament. Everyone did their best: Adeline La Roux, Tomohiro Takeda, Clarissa, Dante Locke, and even Mercy Williams, so for me to have reached this far is truly a great honor for myself. I respect my fellow OPW representatives as well as the other participants in this tournament from other CWC territories. Misha LeCavalier is a tough opponent to beat. She took me to my limit and I'm glad that if I had to be eliminated, it was by her. She's really good. She'll go far. Good luck to whoever gets to face her in the finals, be it Japan's Big Banter or Rebellion's Dante Cutler."

REBEL COURTNEY:
"Thank you, Leah. We're all proud of you, everyone from OPW including myself. See you back in Sydney."

Rebel shakes Leah's hand as the camera begins to fade out. We seem them smiling and exchanging pleasantries, Rebel asking about Leah's condition, before everything truly goes black.

MATCH 6: SEMI-FINAL TWO
Big Banter (Japan) vs Dante Cutler (REBELLION)
The odds are already against Dante Cutler’s favor as he enters a test of strength with Big Banter. The much larger opponents win the battle and pushes Cutler back, sending him toward the ropes. Banter runs right over and hits a clothesline that sends Dante to the outside. Not charging out, Big Banter hangs back, and waits for Cutler to climb back into the ring. As soon as Cutler does, he wastes no time charging at Banter, and running underneath another clothesline attempt, rebounding with a crossbody. Getting back up, Banter is immediately put back down with an axe kick with his good leg.

Early on, Dante is dictating the pacing of the match as he begins to focus on keeping the big man on the mat and a dropkick to the back of a seated Banter keeps him there too. Cutler heads to the apron and flips over the rope with a slingshot leg drop, trying for a pin, but Banter kicks out just before a two count. Knowing he’ll have to take some risks, Dante starts to lift Banter up, but gets a European uppercut for his efforts. Though it’s not just one as Banter starts to string together a few more until he pushes Dante back into the corner.

Backed in the corner, Cutler starts absorbing punches from Banter before getting stunned with an elbow to the side of the head. Hooking Dante’s arms, Banter puts Cutler back in the center of the mat with a double underhook suplex, and follows it up with a snap elbow drop. He holds on for a pin, but Dante kicks out early. Picked back up, Dante goes crashing down from a Wordsworth Way (Spinning Back Suplex), and Banter holds on for a pin! A nearfall as Cutler gets his shoulder up in time.

Banter has Dante right where he wants him, grabbing Cutler by the wrist, and pulling him in for a Special K, but Cutler keeps rotating! Dante gets right behind Banter and goes for an O’Connor roll, trying for a pin, but only gets a two. As Banter kicks out, he sends Dante flying across the ring, but that just gives Cutler momentum as he rolls and pops up with a cutter! Electrifying Gravity (Standing Shoot Star Leg Drop) from Dante and he covers Banter for another pin, but again, just two and a half.

One wasn’t enough as Dante tries for another Electrifying Gravity on Banter, but only gets the same result. Cutler picks Banter up off the mat and pushes him back into a ring corner. It looks like it’s time for the Guns of Brixton as Cutler comes running in, but Banter surprises him right out of the corner with the Big Banter Boot (Running Big Boot)! The boot sends Dante flying and Big Banter goes over to make the cover! It looks like a guaranteed win, but Dante is able to put his boot on a rope to force the pin break!

Irritated now, Banter pulls Dante off of the mat and picks him up for a bear hug! It’s locked on tight and Cutler’s only option of escaping Banter’s grip is to headbutt him! The crowd groans as they hear the thud, but it works as Banter is forced to release his hold on Cutler. But Banter grabs hold of Dante again, going for his Brekkie Roll, but as he tries for the rolling release suplex, Cutler manages to land on his feet! He wobbles a bit, but recovers just in time for a pinpoint dropkick that sends Banter reeling into the corner. Slapping some feeling into his leg, Dante comes running in for the Guns of Brixton (Running Corner Dropkick)! Dante is a bit slow to make the pin due to his leg, but he manages to fall on top of Big Banter and advances to the finals!

Winner: Dante Cutler (pin @ 15:29)

Again, Dante celebrates his win until the pain in his heavily taped up leg returns. He stretches it out a bit, trying not to let anyone notice how badly it’s affecting him. Instead, he puts on a smile through the pain and rolls out of the ring, getting ready for the biggest match of his young career.

MAIN EVENT: FINAL
For The CWC International Championship
Misha LeCavalier (Empire) vs Dante Cutler (REBELLION)
The final match of the evening, and of the tournament, had a big fight feel. The crowd was electric, split between the two competitors. Despite how many matches both had fought throughout the weekend, both Misha and Dante began with a high energy, with strikes and throws transitioned into counters and holds. Misha took control through her technical prowess and backed Dante up against the ropes.

An Irish whip saw her land her Kill Me Baby (High-impact short-range forearm), knocking him to his back. She quickly covered, but he kicked out just before two. She stood him up and backed him into the corner, before stomping into his chest. A few steps back allowed Misha to charge and score her Tell Me How It Hurts (Running Knee to Seated Cornered Opponent). Dante looked to be dazed as Misha lifted him up onto the turnbuckle. She tried for a superplex, but he burst to life and denied the move. Dante fought back and Misha was sent flying backward.

She landed onto the canvas but rolld backward, standing. As she moved forward, Dante blasted her with a shotgun missile dropkick, flattening her. He followed up with his Electrifying Gravity (Standing Shooting Star Legdrop). He hooked the leg, but still only a two! Dante stood, but Misha punched him in the thigh. She struck again, and again - concentrating on Cutler's weakened left knee. She pulled him down with a dragon screw, and locked in a knee bar. Dante clawed at the canvas, screaming, but it was to no avail. He struggled and struggled, eventually half rolling to kick back with his free leg. He caught Misha in the face and managed to break the hold.

LeCavalier stood, holding her nose, and Dante limped a little as he got to his feet. Misha charged. The clothesline missed. Dante's axe kick connected, but he went down holding the leg again. He moved to Misha and cracked her with a few elbow strikes, before rolling away to try and stretch his knee back out. Seeing LeCavalier slowly stand, Dante pulled himself to his feet via the ropes.

Dante whipped Misha into the corner. He charged, but his The Guns of Brixton (Gentleman's Dropkick) missed and he crashed hard into the padding, again holding the knee. He rolled back to his feet, disoriented and clutching at his leg. Misha acted fast and caught him off guard with The Queen Slayer (King Kong Lariat)! LeCavalier went for the pin. But it was only a two! The crowd gasped, they thought it was over.

Misha stood, her icy calmness tested as she obviously wondered what it'd take to put Dante away. She pulled him up and, oh! A knee to the gut. Dante hoisted her up, and dropped her with Uncanny Valley Driver (Death Valley Driver onto Knee)! Dante landed on his backside, yelling as he held at his knee, and needed a couple of seconds to recover and make the pin. He hooked the leg. No - only two! The crowd gapsed again. Dante looked dumbfounded. He shook his head, surely that had been three, he pleaded. The referee said no, just two.

Dante coverd his face. He gingerly stood, clearly pained by the knee. Misha pulled herself up via the ropes. Dante ran but in, but, oh! Misha caught him with a second Queen Slayer, flattening him! She slowly fell to her knees and made the cover. One, two...three.

Winner And NEW CWC International Champion: Misha LeCavalier (pin @ 25:41)

Misha rolled away from her opponent and lay on the mat for a moment as she attempted to catch her breath. As she lay on her back for a few seconds, the realization that she’d just won the finals of the tournament began to sink in. She used her right arm to wipe the sweat out of her face as “Half” by PVRIS began to blare throughout the arena. Misha slowly rolled onto her stomach and then made it to a knee. The referee cautiously approached her as she made it all the way to her feet. He checked in with her to make sure she was alright. After he was certain that she was fine and coherent, he presented her with the CWC International Championship, rose her left hand, and then backed away. This elicited a mixed action from the fans in attendance—some clapped and cheered her amazing performance, others booed and showed their great displeasure.

The cameras zoomed in a bit on Misha has she held the belt in her hands and peered at the its faceplate. She lifted her head after about twenty seconds as a wicked smirk crossed her lips. Misha walked over over towards the hard camera and made her way to the ring apron. The International Championship rested in her right hand as she lowered her head a bit and lifted up her left fist. She held the pose for a brief moment and allowed some photographers to take a shot or two. That smirk returned as she lifted her head and gently hopped off the apron.

Two of her friends, Freya Matthews and Myung Pak, sat ringside. Misha gingerly walked over to them and gave each a heartfelt yet exhausted hug. She then placed the CWC International Championship over her shoulder and slowly walked to the backstage area as the event came to a close.

CWC: GLOBAL WARFARE, LAST SIXTEEN ROUND
Live from Sydney, Australia!
01 October, 2017.

BACKSTAGE
After Leah vs. Quinn

BACKSTAGE
After Leah vs. LeCavalier

Quarter-Final Four
Mercy Williams vs. Dante Cutler

________________

Semi-Final Two
Big Banter vs. Dante Cutler

Winner: DANTE CUTLER (PINFALL @ 15:29)

Again, Dante celebrates his win until the pain in his heavily taped up leg returns. He stretches it out a bit, trying not to let anyone notice how badly it’s affecting him. Instead, he puts on a smile through the pain and rolls out of the ring, getting ready for the biggest match of his young career.

KENZI GRAY-LACKLAN SEGMENT

Big Banter vs. Caspian Kace

WINNER: BIG BANTER (PINFALL @ 11:12)
