WEDNESDAY NIGHT WARFARE 9

LIVE FROM WASHINGTON HALL – SEATTLE, WA
WEDNESDAY – OCTOBER 4, 2017

After the opening pyro and video package, the new PNW Women’s Champion, Veeka Manns, makes her way down to the ring with the title over her shoulder. Once the crowd quiets down, she directs them to the big screen where highlights of her first blood match with Rose at Warzone: Portland are shown. It was a brutal match, but Veeka Manns says that it proved that if you’re tough enough and bad enough you can take down the behemoth of the Women’s division in PNW. Veeka says that later on tonight she will celebrate with a win over Cali-Kate, but she doesn’t have much longer to gloat because Rose makes her way down to the ring to a big pop from the crowd.

Rose says that Veeka won the match fair and square, but winning a first blood match doesn’t prove that she is the better competitor. Rose says that making an opponent bleed is easy, but beating them down to the point where they can’t get it up is more difficult. She says that Veeka Manns took the easy way to the title, and that kind of thing can’t be left to stand. She says that next week in the main event she will be using her rematch clause and will get the PNW Women’s Championship back and prove that she is the best female competitor in this company. Veeka says that she isn’t afraid of Rose. She never was, and now that she has made her bleed, she knows that Rose won’t ever be the same. Rose says that the first blood match only made her want to get that belt back more.

The tense staredown is interrupted by Alyssa Davies. The crowd hates her, and they let her know it as she plants herself far away from danger on the stage and talks down to Rose and Veeka from the ramp. Alyssa says that it is criminal that PNW hasn’t handed her the Women’s title, and to make it even worse they tried to ship her off to Slaughterhouse two weeks ago at Warzone: Portland. But she beat Cheyenne and showed everyone in this company that she is here to stay, and no one is going to be able to stop her from becoming Women’s Champion.

Rose and Veeka put their differences aside and make their way to the edge of the ring while Davies smugly looks on from the ramp. Rose says that there is no one more entitled in this company than Alyssa Davies. From the very beginning, Rose says, Alyssa has been saying that the title is her God given right, but every time she gets a chance, she fails. Veeka chimes in and says that Alyssa is the laughingstock of PNW, and she would have loved to see her tossed to the wolves in Slaughterhouse to wrestle in some deathmatches. Veeka says that Rose isn’t as tough as everyone thinks she is, but she is still ten times the wrestler Alyssa Davies could ever dream to be.

Alyssa shrugs it all off. She says that this is typical coming from women who look like men - they’re just angry people! The PNW Women’s Championship deserves a real woman to hold it, and Veeka and Rose will never be able to pull it off. Rose says that the PNW Women’s Championship isn’t an accessory, and if she wants a new toy so badly she should just go buy one from the merch stand. Alyssa says we will see later tonight when they square off - but that Rose is going to eat her words. Alyssa’s music picks up once again as we fade to our first commercial break.

Texas Wrecking Crew & Oswald and Oswald vs. The Gear Society & Alex and Sansa Madsen

This match is barely able to get started as the referee has a hard time finding some order after all eight of the competitors made their way down to the ring. Oswald and Oswald are not thrilled about teaming with Texas Wrecking Crew and The Gear Society are ready to get some retribution after the attack at Warzone: Portland caused the Tag Team Championship match to fall into a no decision. Alex and Sansa Madsen are more or less removed from all of this, standing on the edge watching the chaos and enjoying it. By the time the referee is able to restore order, it becomes clear that Alex and Sansa will start this match off against Oswald and Oswald, the PNW Tag Team Champions.

As soon as the bell sounds, Texas Wrecking Crew and Gear Society rush the ring and begin brawling, which prompts Oswald and Oswald to get in on it too. Gear Gamma tosses The Technician across the ring but is leveled by a running clothesline from Mack Brody. Agatha is stomping away on The Technician while Xavier and Iris push Brody into the corner and begin assaulting him as well. Sansa Madsen is the legal wrestler in the ring, as is Iris Oswald. Alex and Sansa move into the corner to oversee the carnage and wait for their moment to strike. Alex screams “GO GO GO!” and Sansa rushes in, rolling up Iris Oswald. The referee sees it, but Xavier does not. 1...2...3! Alex and Sansa Madsen have pinned the reigning tag champs! Alex and Sansa rush out of the ring as Xavier and Iris meet up to figure out what the hell has just happened.

WINNERS: THE GEAR SOCIETY & ALEX AND SANSA MADSEN

After the chaotic ending to this match, Oswald and Oswald team up with The Gear Society to toss both members of the Texas Wrecking Crew out of the ring. Alex and Sansa Madsen make their way up the ramp watching the chaos ensue near the ring with some amusement, having just pinned the PNW Tag Team Champions. Texas Wrecking Crew work their way to their feet and stare back up at the two teams who were supposed to meet for the tag titles two weeks ago, but were screwed out of a match by them. The trash talk ensues until Tugg Porter makes his way onto the stage, moving past Alex and Sansa. Tugg brings with him some security personnel who rush down to restore some order. Tugg says that he has had enough of Texas Wrecking Crew and their antics, so next week they will be banned from the arena! Suspended! And with them gone, we will finally be able to see The Gear Society get the match they were promised against Oswald and Oswald for the PNW tag team championships! TWC are not pleased with this and have to be restrained by the security team as we fade into commercial break.

Alyssa Davies vs. Rose

Clearly Rose thinks of Alyssa Davies as an annoying little pest, and she starts the match with a big swat in the form of a right hook that brings Davies down hard. Rose pulls her up and immediately slams her down again hard, and Davies looks horrified as she begins to scuttle away. Rose rolls her eyes as she gives chase, but Davies had lured her in. She executed a drop toe hold that sent Rose crashing head first into the bottom turnbuckle. Davies tried for the quick pin, hoping that Rose was stunned, but it only netted a two count. Davies jumped on top and began hammering her with a series of stiff right hands, but Rose eventually turns the tables. She pulls Alyssa up by the hair and then connects with a clothesline that sends her down hard. 1...2...NO!

Alyssa crawls over to the corner and pulls herself up. She sees Rose charging her and immediately lifts up her boot, but Rose catches it and tosses it over the top rope. With Alyssa straddling the top rope Rose once again bounces off of the ropes and charges in with a big boot that catches Alyssa on the shoulder and sends her flying out of the ring! Rose looks down in disgust as Alyssa tries to figure out where she is. The crowd is mocking her arrogance as she looks like she is completely unable to compete with Rose tonight.

After getting tired of waiting for Davies to pull herself back into the match, Rose slips out of the ring to chase down her opponent. Davies is briefly able to fight back for a moment with an elbow to the gut, but Rose slugs her with a forearm to the back and that ends that. She tosses Davies into the ring and signals to the crowd that she is ready to try for the body scissors that she uses to squeeze her opponents into submission. The crowd loves this, and Rose takes a step towards Alyssa. SMALL PACKAGE! 1...2…3! ALYSSA DAVIES HAS STOLEN THIS WIN!

Davies slipped out of the ring and laid down flat on the floor, the referee holding her arm into the air. Davies began to laugh loudly as Rose slammed the mat as hard as she could. Davies pointed to her head, signalling that she was the smarter wrestler tonight, and it is hard to argue with her on that point.

WINNER: ALYSSA DAVIES

After the match we cut to the PNW Interview Area where Jackson Fleck is standing with Sam Decker. Decker congratulates Fleck on his huge win two weeks ago to become the number one contender for the PNW Championship. Decker wants to know if Fleck ever had any doubt about his chances to earn the shot. Fleck says that of course he didn’t. He came to this company knowing he’d be a top guy, and now he finally gets his shot. Decker says that the title match will be in two weeks, and next week there will be a contract signing between Fleck and Callaghan. Fleck says that he isn’t worried about any of it, and the first thing he has to do is flex on Konstantine, the man who was almost champion, up next. We cut to commercial.

Jackson Fleck vs. Konstantine

The next match of the night features the man who is the new number one contender for the PNW Championship, Jackson Fleck, going against the man who tried and failed to win the belt at Warzone: Portland, Konstantine. Losing in the last man standing must have been a tough blow for Konstantine, but he looks to bounce back with a big win tonight that could derail Fleck’s momentum. When the bell sounds, Konstantine comes out of the gates hot, jumping on Fleck with a series of well placed rights and lefts before tossing him against the ropes and hitting him with a kick to the gut on the rebound. Konstantine tried for a quick pinfall but Fleck was able to power out and get on his feet quickly. Konstantine dived forward with a chop block that looked like it really did a number on Fleck’s knee. The crowd was rooting for him to power up but Konstantine began working on the leg, causing Fleck to scream out in pain.

Fleck was finally able to get to his feet and keep Konstantine away, but he was clearly in a lot of pain. Konstantine charged forward yet again to try another chop block, but this time Fleck saw him coming out of the corner of his eye and jumped up to avoid the move. However, whenever he landed it was clear that the jump wasn’t a smart call for his knee. It buckled and Fleck fell to the mat allowing Konstantine to stick a boot in his face before another pin attempt. 1...2...NO!

After being stick in a leglock for a while, the fans began to rally behind Jackson Fleck. He fed off of it and it allowed him to power to his feet, although he still looked quite wobbly. After some well placed shots to the head of his opponent, Fleck was able to level Konstantine with a shoulder block. When he found his way to his feet again, Konstantine wasn’t far behind him. Fleck picked him up with a bodyslam and then let out a loud scream signalling to the fans that he was back in this thing. He flexed a few times before Konstantine stood and then pulled Konstantine into the full nelson, ready to try for #FlexFriday. But Konstantine had it scouted and instead sent an elbow flying right back into Fleck’s face. Konstantine also added a swift kick to the knee, bringing Fleck down. Konstantine bounced off of the ropes but on the rebound Fleck stood and reversed the momentum back into the full nelson! #FLEXFRIDAY CONNECTS! The crowd goes nuts as Fleck covers Konstantine. 1...2...3! He did it! Jackson Fleck has won the match!

Konstantine rolled out of the ring disappointed and still dazed. The commentators remarked that the loss to Callaghan may have impacted the confidence of Konstantine more than he’d like to admit. Fleck stood in the middle of the ring and flexed a few times before motioning the belt around his waist.

WINNER: JACKSON FLECK

After the match we get split screen where we see the PNW Champion, Liam Callaghan, standing with Sam Decker. Decker wants Callaghan’s reaction to Fleck beating Konstantine, the man who managed to elude Callaghan for a while. Callaghan says at the end of the day he was able to beat Konstantine, but he knows how good he is. This win goes to show that Fleck isn’t a fluke, and he is ready to challenge for the title. Callaghan says that he will be a fighting champion, and that means standing face to face with Fleck next week when it is time for the contract signing, and the week after that when the title is on the line. But first, he needs to deal with two newcomers who want to make a statement at his expense tonight. We cut to commercial.

Liam Callaghan vs. Rhiannon vs. Ryan Henderson

Ryan Henderson and Rhiannon are out to the ring first. As newcomers to PNW it is clear that the fans don’t know what to think of them, but Rhiannon makes sure to curse a few of them on her way down to the ring just to show where she stands. Liam Callaghan makes his way down to the ring with a big pop from the fans. He enters and immediately offers a handshake to Henderson who accepts it, earning some cheers. Rhiannon is less interested, earning some boos. Callaghan shakes it off and holds his belt high in the air. Both of his challengers look up at it before the bell sounds and this match begins.

Rhiannon ducks out of the ring knowing that she would be the first target, so Henderson and Callaghan are left to start this one in the middle of the ring. They lock up and Henderson immediately transitions into a hammerlock that catches Callaghan off guard. Henderson pushed Callaghan into the ropes and Callaghan held on, sending Henderson flying back. But Henderson rolled through and popped Callaghan with a dropkick right on the chin when he turned around. Liam fell to the mat and rolled out of the ring holding his jaw, still trying to figure out what happened. Henderson bounced off of the ropes on the other side of the ring and sent himself over the top rope with a senton that landed right on Callaghan for a big pop! He got up and played to the crowd, but Rhiannon rushed to the other side of the ring and leveled him with a shoulder block. She tossed him inside and dropped a knee right across his neck before trying a pinfall. 1...2...NO!

It was a quick transition into a figure four headscissors and Rhiannon began pounding Henderson’s head into the canvas with the very unorthodox move. Henderson was finally able to push his way out of the hold but came up seeming quite groggy. Rhiannon came after him and Henderson connected with an enziguri that dropped her quick. 1...2...Callaghan breaks it up! He immediately lifted Henderson and dropped him with the Celtic Breaker and turned his attention to Rhiannon. Rhi got to her feet and managed to get in one stiff shot, but Callaghan countered a second attempt into a northern lights suplex. 1...2...NO! Rhiannon rolled to her feet and caught Callaghan with a big boot. 1...2...NO! Callaghan came to his feet an Rhiannon caught him with the Double Knee Backbreaker that she calls Candy Land! 1...2...Henderson broke it up! Fatal Encounter! Rhiannon fell down to the mat hard and Henderson jumped on top for the pin! 1...2...CALLAGHAN BROKE IT UP!

Callaghan and Henderson both took a while to get to their feet and Rhiannon rolled out of the ring. Henderson made it up first and set Callaghan in position for DOR, but from the belly to belly suplex position Callaghan slammed him with a headbutt that sent him staggering back. On the rebound Callaghan pulled him into the Beantown Plunge, and it connects! 1...2...Rhiannon is in the ring...3! She just wasn’t close enough! Despite tough challenges from the newcomers tonight, Liam Callaghan emerges as the winner of the match.

WINNER: LIAM CALLAGHAN

We see footage from moments ago when the CWC Junior Heavyweight Champion arrived at the arena with the belt over his shoulder. Mark Storm stepped out and was immediately approached by Blanche Patton who seemed thrilled to have him at the show tonight. She wished him luck on his match tonight, and said that she would be around if he needed anything - anything at all. PNW loves having representatives from other companies show up and they want to show that they have the highest standard for this sort of thing in the CWC. Storm thanks her, but clearly isn’t buying into her niceness. We fade to commercial break as Blanche opens the door for him.

Cali-Kate vs. Veeka Manns

The new PNW Women’s Champion has a tough challenge on her hands this week in the form of Cali-Kate, but Veeka is ready to prove that she is the true face of the women’s division in PNW and looks to win this match easily. She oozes with confidence as the two wrestlers lock up. Veeka is able to easy get Kate in a headlock, but it is short lived. Kate pushes her way to freedom and immediately pulls Veeka into a suplex. Veeka gets to her feet and eats an armdrag, followed by a dropkick. Everyone in the audience is behind Kate as she waits for her shot to nail that patented DDT, but Veeka ends up moving into the corner to catch her breath.

Kate gives chase, eventually landing right on Veeka with a bronco buster that really gets the crowd going. Kate moves in once again but this time Veeka reaches up to rake the eyes. As Kate turns away, Veeka hits her with a german suplex and then tries for a pin. 1...2...NO! Veeka retains control of the match with some standing submissions, but nothing that keeps Cali-Kate down for long. She battles back with some elbows to the gut before finally bringing veeka down with a front facebuster. It takes a moment for Kate to get to her feet and pulls Veeka into position for a suplex - that time gave Veeka a chance to recover, so when Kate lifted her up Veeka floated through onto her feet and nailed a neckbreaker that she transitioned into a pin. 1...2...No!

Veeka was beginning to show signs of frustration because Kate just wouldn’t stay down. She landed some mounted punches before finally lifting Kate into position for a samoan drop. But Kate elbowed her way to freedom and immediately tried for the tilt-a-whirl DDT, but Veeka tossed her aside, having the move scouted. Kate charged but Veeka kicked her right in the gut and then slammed her down with a powerbomb! She went for the cover. 1...2...3! That was it! Kate proved a tougher challenge than Veeka expected, but she was still able to pull this one out in the end.

WINNER: VEEKA MANNS

Back from commercial break, we see Ava Tremblay warming up for her match. Cali-Kate comes through the curtain with her hands on her hips, frustrated about how the last match went and generally exhausted. She sees Ava and gives her a hug, wishing her luck tonight. Ava asks her for any last minute advice, and Kate tells her to stay cool. She begins to walk away, but then spins around at the last moment. She says that earlier today she heard something about Christine being furious that Ava tossed her out of the battle royal two weeks ago. Ava said that Christine needs to just get over it because tonight is her chance to finally win the big one. Kate simply warns Ava to watch her back and then exits the area as we fade into a video package hyping the upcoming match and highlighting how Ava Tremblay earned the shot.

CWC JUNIOR HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
Ava Tremblay vs. Mark Storm ©

Ava Tremblay was out first to a great reaction from the crowd. They really wanted to see her pick up this huge win so early on in her young career, and it was clear that she was loving every second of her first PNW main event. Ava settled into her corner when Blanche Patton came onto the ramp with a microphone in hand. She said that tonight PNW plays host to one of the most influential wrestlers in the world today… the CWC Junior Heavyweight Champion Mark Storm! There was some element to her speech that suggested she was a bigger fan of Mark Storm than Ava Tremblay, and this only compounded the boos that started when Mark Storm made his way onto the ramp. He lifted the belt up into the air, but the camera quickly cut down to the ring where something was happening.

We hear the shouts of Sue York from the crowd and Ava Tremblay turns her head to investigate. She ends up screaming at Sue from the corner of the ring, giving Christine a chance to strike! With a steel chair in hand, Christine absolutely obliterates Ava in the ring, much to the dismay of Blanche Patton on the ramp and the fans in the audience. Mark Storm watches from the ramp, taken aback by the attack. He begins to make his way down to the ring, living up to the “hero” moniker that he has been branded with, but is quickly intercepted by a slew of security guards, half of whom make their way to the ring to pull Christine off of Ava. But the damage has been done. The referee calls off this match as Mark Storm desperately tries to fight through the guards. We get the final image of Christine being dragged out of the ring by the security team with a smile on her face. If she couldn’t earn this shot, she damn sure made sure that Ava Tremblay wasn’t going to get it either.

NO CONTEST
(Mark Storm Still CWC Junior Heavyweight Champion)
