MATCH ONE
ALEKS BERZINS and ALISA RUTSKAYA vs. JUNIOR HARDY and McKENNA HARDY

Alisa Rutskaya starts this match against McKenna Hardy. The two circle the ring before charging at one another. Alisa quickly takes control, knocking the teenager down with a clothesline. From here, she assaults her with a variety of different kicks. When McKenna gets up to her knees, Alisa drops her immediately with a shining wizard. A leg drop follows, as does a kick to the rib cage. McKenna is left to gasp for breath as Alisa makes the tag to Aleks Berzins. Aleks climbs into the ring as Hardy is getting to her feet. Berzins reacts quickly, pulling her down with a hair-pull mat slam. Aleks laughs as she repeatedly boots McKenna in the shin, before pulling her up to her feet. She takes her down with a tilt-a-whirl arm drag, throwing her into the corner where Rutskaya is standing on the apron. McKenna pulls herself to her feet, but as she is still resting in the corner, it leaves her vulnerable. Aleks Berzins charges at her and hits a corner leg lariat, which makes McKenna Hardy sink down to a seated position. Several quick tags in succession follow, as Aleks and Alisa take it in turns to stomp away at the downed McKenna. Eventually the referee sees it fit to step in, pulling Alisa away. He helps McKenna to her feet, but this ends up leading to her falling victim to Alisa’s “Siberian Punishment” signature. She makes the cover, but a frustrated Junior Hardy breaks the pin before three. Aleks Berzins enters the ring and charges at him, but Junior pulls down the top rope and sends her tumbling over it.

Alisa Rutskaya climbs to her feet in a huff and gets right into Junior’s face. She verbally berates him, but Junior doesn’t retaliate. Instead, he lets her waste time to allow McKenna to recover and get to her feet. Once he sees his twin sister is ready to go, he climbs out of the ring and onto the apron. An exhausted McKenna charges at Rutskaya and takes her down with a Lou Thesz press. She strikes Alisa a few times, but she doesn’t have enough energy to manage too many. Instead, she makes the tag to her brother. When Alisa climbs to her feet, she gets taken down with a double cutter. Aleks Berzins climbs onto the ring apron to try and rescue her partner, but she gets taken down by a double clothesline. Junior lines up Alisa for a DDT, and when she gets to her feet, that’s exactly what he does. Junior begins to kick away at Alisa the same way she did to his sister, and Alisa is desperate to tag out of the match. But with no Aleks on the apron for the time being, she has to endure the punishment coming her way. Junior prepares for a crossbody, but Alisa is able to catch him and throw him to one side. Knowing she now has an opportunity, she looks and notices Berzins climbing back onto the apron. Aleks holds out her hand and Rutskaya leaps to make the tag. Aleks Berzins re-enters the match, but she walks right into a belly-to-back suplex from Junior Hardy. He immediately tags in his sister, who climbs to the top and drops her leg across Aleks’ neck. It knocks Aleks out cold, and she’s able to hook the leg for the three count. Despite Alisa’s best attempts to break the count, Junior is able to hold her off.

Winner: Junior and McKenna Hardy (Time: 15:41)

JAPAN OPENWEIGHT TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER
MATCH TWO
REDGRAVE and ZACK RICHARDS vs. DABRIA RHODES and BJÖRN GUNNARSSON

Dabria Rhodes starts things off for her team, against Redgrave. Redgrave immediately begins to flirt with her, which completely takes Dabria off her game. She stands still, unsure of how to react. This is, until Redgrave grabs her hand and kisses it. Then, Rhodes takes exception to the invasion of her personal space. She slaps Redgrave across the cheek, making him stumble backwards a few steps. He rubs his cheek, before making another move towards him. He tries to flirt again by grabbing her hand, but she takes him down with an arm drag. Finally conceding that she’s not interested, Redgrave pulls himself to his feet. He walks towards her again, but Rhodes takes him down with a standing dropkick. Embarrassed, Redgrave pulls himself to his feet and tags in Zack Richards. Zack Richards, who for the first time in his career in Japan seems focussed, steps into the ring. He walks towards Dabria, but when she tries to take him down, he’s able to avoid her attack. In retaliation, he drops her with a T-bone suplex. Dabria gets back up, but Zack uses his experience to quickly take her back down again. He hits her with a DDT and immediately goes for the cover. Dabria is able to kick out at two.

When Dabria kicks out, Zack pulls her up to her feet. He throws her into the ropes, looking to hit her with a spinebuster on the rebound. But she’s able to slide past him and run towards the other side of the ring, tagging in Björn Gunnarsson. Björn immediately grabs Zack Richards and tosses him across the ring. Richards gets back up and charges at him, only to be met with a clothesline. Björn wants Redgrave to tag in, but Zack has different plans. He kicks Björn in the gut and drops him with a twist of fate. He then climbs the turnbuckle in an attempt to level him with a diving crossbody, but Björn catches him in the air. He drills him into the mat with a powerslam, before making the cover. Richards kicks out at two.

Björn pulls Zack back up to his feet, but Zack fights back. The two begin to trade blow for blow, but Björn’s superior size and strength gives him the advantage. He quickly overpowers Zack, and tosses him across the ring with a chokeslam. Another chokeslam quickly follows, and he picks Richards back up again. He throws him into the corner and connects with a running corner splash, but before he can go for the cover he notices Danny Hall sneaking up behind Dabria Rhodes. Gunnarsson warns Rhodes of his presence, and Hall immediately stops in his tracks. Realising the numbers are against him, he begins to retreat up the ramp. But perhaps his work was actually already complete. The distraction gave Zack Richards enough time to make the tag to Redgrave, who is now standing behind Björn Gunnarsson. When Björn turns around, he walks into Redgrave’s “Helm Breaker” finisher. Redgrave makes the cover and gets the three count, much to Danny Hall’s delight.

Winner: Redgrave and Zack Richards (Time: 12:18)

Redgrave and Zack Richards make their way up the ramp, as Björn Gunnarsson and Dabria Rhodes try to make sense of what just happened. Danny Hall stands on the ramp, laughing. Furious, Björn grabs a microphone. He points out how sick to death he and Dabria are of him constantly butting his nose in and disrespecting them, and promises to teach him a lesson. Björn says that Danny Hall isn’t as good as what he thinks he is and, when Danny disagrees, he urges him to put his money where his mouth is. Gunnarsson then challenges hall to a match at next week’s supercard. Hesitantly, Danny Hall agrees. Danny mutters that he can’t wait to embarrass him again, and warns Dabria that she had better pay close attention, because she will be next.

MATCH THREE
JESSY TURNER vs. POLLY McPHERSON

At the start of the match, this is very even. They engage in a test of strength to start things off, which lasts for a considerable amount of time. Polly McPherson manages to take control, but only for a very brief amount of time. She is able to trap Jessy Turner in a sleeper hold, but she is unable to capitalise on her position of dominance as Jessy is able to wrestle her way out of the hold. Polly comes back at her, but Turner takes her down with a judo toss. Jessy uses her judo background to her advantage, managing to take control of the match for a while. A handspring back elbow smash makes Polly stagger slightly, but enough for Jessy to take advantage by hitting her with a European uppercut. This is followed up by a split legged arm drag, and the impressive combination of moves culminates in a front dropkick to the back of Polly. Jessy makes the cover, but it’s only enough for a two count.

McPherson kicks out and immediately sits up. Turner charges at her for a shining wizard, but she’s able to duck and avoid the contact. Polly McPherson climbs to her feet and is able to send Jessy Turner flying with a tilt-a-whirl headscissors takedown. Jessy gets back up to charge at Polly, but she gets taken straight back down again with an exploder suplex into the turnbuckle. Jessy pulls herself up using the ropes, but McPherson charges towards her and crushes her with a running corner splash. This makes Jessy drop forwards against the canvas, and gives Polly another opening. She climbs to the top and waits for Jessy Turner to get back to her feet. When she does so, Polly leaps off for a diving hurricanrana. But Jessy steps out of the way and allows Polly to hit the canvas. She goes to follow up with a double knee backbreaker, but Polly is able to counter with a short-arm clothesline. A spinebuster follows, and then Polly goes for a cover of her own. Jessy is also able to kick out at two.

Both women get to their feet and continue to throw everything they have at each other. For a while, neither woman is able to build any momentum. But this changes when Polly connects with her signature pendulum kick followed by diving DDT. This gives her the opportunity to lock in “Polly Ivy”, her arm trap crossface finisher. Unfortunately for her, she’s not quite able to get it fully locked in. Because of this, Jessy Turner is able to roll out of the hold. Polly McPherson gets up and charges at Jessy, but Jessy clotheslines her. She follows this up with her snapmare driver finisher, going for the cover. She gets the three count victory.

Winner: Name goes here (Time: 09:47)

MATCH FOUR
CHASE FUTRELL vs. BIG BANTER

The bell sounds and this contest is officially underway. Both men begin with the traditional collar-and-elbow tie up. Big Banter transitions it into a side headlock, forcing Chase to back up to the ropes. He pushes Banter ahead of him, but on the rebound runs into a shoulder tackle from the big man! Banter quickly runs off the ropes, but Chase rolls to his stomach, causing Banter to leap frog over him – and with cat like reflexes, Chase is back to his feet and hits Banter with a running knee strike right to the gut! Chase hits him with a nice DDT and attempts an early cover, but Banter gets the shoulder up at the count of one! Chase with a handful of hair drags Banter back up to his feet and hits him with a nice right, catching him square in the jaw! He hits another one, and follows it up with a knife edge chop. He continues to hit The Big Breakfast with multiple knife edge chops, backing him into the corner. A quick elbow strike and he’s gone running to the ropes and connects with a jumping clothesline! Chase falls to the cover, but can only find two!

Chase nods his head slightly before once again bringing Big Banter to his feet, however, Banter pushes him off and connects with his own backhand chop, followed by another backhand chop, and another one for the trifecta! Banter Irish whips Chase into the corner, and quickly follows it up with a hard-running clothesline! He doesn’t appear to be finished yet folks, as he once again Irish whips Chase into the corner, and again follows up with a clothesline! Chase stumbles out of the corner, allowing Banter to hit the “Brekkie Roll!” He hooks the inside leg, but Chase manages to kick out at two! The Big Breakfast bends his arm into the shape of a cereal bowl and begins to pretend to eat cereal from it, proving to be a mistake, as Chase is back to his feet and hits him with a spinning heel kick from out of nowhere! He quickly hooks the inside leg….1……2……Big Banter kicks out! Chase seems to be in shock, he was sure he had the victory! Chase begins hyping up the crowd, we can only assume this is to setup his “Harshest Reality” finishing manoeuvre. With Banter back to his feet, Chase begins to attempt the move, struggling to get the 275 pounder up on his shoulders, he somehow manages it! But wait, Banter is fighting back, with stiff elbow shots to the side of the head, forcing Chase to drop him back down, Banter quickly follows up the counter with “Wordsworth Way!” He hooks the leg….1……2……Chase kicks out! Big Banter can’t believe it! Big Banter makes his way back up to a vertical base, and walks back into the corner. He begins to slap his leg, setting up for the “Big Banter Boot”. Chase slowly gets to his feet, using the ropes for leverage, he turns around and Big Banter begins to charge towards him at full sprint, he goes for the finishing touch, but Chase rolls underneath, coming out at the opposite corner! He quickly turns around and jumps in the air for a jumping clothesline, but Big Banter catches him in mid-air with the “Big Banter Boot!” He hooks both legs….1……2…..THREE!!

Winner: Big Banter (Time: 14:27)

NON-TITLE, 30 MINUTE TIME LIMIT
MATCH FIVE
YURI JIGOKU vs. MASON WOLFE Ⓒ

The match begins, and Yuri Jigoku looks at Mason Wolfe in disgust. The Rising Sun Champion being an American is bad enough for him, but when Mason decides to stretch his arms out and raise his head, this is enough to send Jigoku over the edge. They meet in the middle for a collar-and-elbow tie-up, but Mason Wolfe slips out of it and decides to further infuriate Yuri by, once again, stretching his arms and raising his head. Yuri loses his cool and just headbutts Wolfe right in the chest. He then unleashes a flurry of knife edge chops, each one leaving a mark. The Rising Sun Champion tries to escape, but he can’t. The high intensity, strong style is too big of a challenge for him to cope with in the opening stages, especially the several stiff shoot kicks that follow. Mason is still on his feet despite the onslaught of attacks, but a belly-to-back suplex is enough to change this as Yuri flings Mason over his head. Rather than going for a cover, however, Yuri decides to lock him into a high angled Boston crab. Wolfe yells out, the pain he is in clear for all to see. But Jigoku doesn’t care - he is intent on punishing Mason Wolfe. Mason has to crawl to the bottom rope to force the break, but Yuri doesn’t care. He completely disregards the fact, and it isn’t until the official yanks him off that he releases his grip.

Wolfe holds the bottom of his back, which is understandably in pain following the submission hold. He slowly pulls himself up to his feet but unknowingly walks right into a bridging German suplex. Jigoku smirks, knowing he has Mason Wolfe right where he wants him. But Mason is the Rising Sun Champion for a reason, and it soon becomes clear why. Yuri goes to pick Mason up off the mat, but he’s met by a thumb to the eye. Wolfe suddenly springs into life, jumping to his feet to take Yuri down with a straight jacket sitout rear mat slam. Yuri is quick to get back to his knees, but Mason is the quicker of the two to react. He lines up - and connects with - a superkick to his kneeling opponent, sending Jigoku back down to the canvas. He goes for the cover, but Yuri kicks out at two.

Wolfe berates the official and commands him to count faster, but the referee pays him no attention. Instead, he tells Mason to return his attention to Yuri, who is getting to his feet. Wolfe notices this just in time, still able to capitalise. He makes Yuri stagger following a discus elbow smash, but it isn’t until he Irish whips Jigoku into the corner that the true impact is made. With Yuri cornered, Mason takes off at almost full speed to connect with a double high knee. This causes Yuri to stumble forwards, which allows Mason Wolfe to lift him as though going for a vertical suplex, but before he can transition into a double knee backbreaker, Jigoku is able to slip away and ends up back-to-back with Mason. When both men turn around, Yuri is the quickest to react as he boots Wolfe in the mid-section and makes him double over. He takes him down with a butterfly suplex, and when Wolfe gets back to his feet, Jigoku hoists him onto his shoulders. He sets up for his "Kowareta Kubi" finisher, but Mason Wolfe is able to squirm free. He then takes Yuri down with an overhead kick, before deciding that he has had enough. He rolls out of the ring and retrieves the Rising Sun Championship, before beginning to retreat up the ramp. Yuri Jigoku rolls out to give chase, but suddenly he is being clubbed in the back by Kuma. Realising he’s lost control of the match, the ref officially calls for a no contest.

Kuma stares blankly at Mason Wolfe, who tightens his grip on the Rising Sun Championship. Kuma returns his attention to the fallen Yuri Jigoku, who he picks up and flings into the crowd barricade. The audience boo as Kuma continues his assault by kicking away at Yuri, before pulling him to his feet and dropping him with his “Samoan Driver” finisher. Standing over Yuri Jigoku, he proudly points to the American flag on his boots - which causes an uproar amongst the audience. Mason Wolfe, who witnessed the entire thing, raises the Rising Sun Championship in the air before heading off. The medical team rush down the ramp to Yuri’s aid, and Kuma is desperately urged to make his way backstage. He does so, but not before shouting “USA!” at the top of his voice.

Winner: No contest (Time: 27:32)

Coming back from the break we are once again in the arena. "Hollow Points" by Army of Pharaohs hits the speakers and the reaction from the Japanese crowd is almost deafening. Oculta Santos makes his way onto the stage flagged by Da Silva. He grips his Openweight Championship tightly and slowly inches his way to the ring. Before entering he snags a microphone, slides in, and paces back forth until his music fades out.

OCULTA SANTOS:
"Last week I touched down in Tokyo with one thought in my mind, and that thought turned into a goal, and that goal is now an obsession. An obsession with making my Openweight Championship THE championship to have. The only gold that matters and the only title that means a damn thing around here!

The Gaijins can run around with their little toy, and Mason Wolfe can use his Rising Sun strap to hold up his pretty little robes."

He holds his championship up, looking at golden plates.

OCULTA SANTOS:
"But this championship will be the one that writes this place's Legacy. I assure you of this."

He pauses for a few brief moments admiring his reflection.

OCULTA SANTOS:
"Label this as a stern warning to everyone in attendance, and to the families who are about to watch this at home. Know that I was expecting to defend my championship in the last hour, in the main event..."

He pauses for a moment, noticeably frustrated.

OCULTA SANTOS:
"Maybe by then your kiddies would have been in bed... Maybe they'd be reading a nice bed time story... Maybe they'd be cuddled up with their favorite teddy..."

He smirks.

OCULTA SANTOS:
"But NAAA, they bout to witness a live mauling! A MASSACRE!! Shield your baby's eyes and cover their ears. Pour some Holy Water in a Windex bottle and spray your television screen with it, because after I'm finished with this Bakayarō..."

The crowd Ooo's at the Japanese insult being spoken.

OCULTA SANTOS:
"I will be feasting on their carcass with MY OPENWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP high above my head and so help me GOD, I'll be bringing them to meet Jikkō-sha!!!"

He raises the title high above, an army of boos reign down and the smirk on Santos' face couldn't be more powerful. He stands in the middle of the ring proudly, before being interrupted by his opponent's music.

JAPAN OPENWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP, 45 MINUTE TIME LIMIT
MATCH SIX
OCULTA SANTOS Ⓒ vs. ???

"What's My Name?" by Gazzila hits the speakers. The crowd erupt, knowing exactly who has accepted the challenge. Hirokai Yokoza, the former Rising Sun Champion, makes his way down to the ring. Oculta Santos seems a bit surprised, not expecting to have to compete against Hirokai. When both competitors are ready, the referee calls for the bell. The two men immediately step out of their respective corners, and Oculta Santos is quick to point out how he’s the one with the Championship - not Yokoza. Hirokai doesn’t retaliate. Instead, he patiently waits for Santos to start, and the two engage in a test of strength. The stronger Hirokai takes control early on by pulling Oculta into a side headlock, but Oculta is able to counter with a spinning side suplex. He quickly follows this up with a surfboard stretch, which he locks in tightly. He can’t keep it applied for long, but for the time he does have it locked in, it does quite a bit of damage to Yokoza.

“The Hitman” is able to force his way out of the hold, but for the time being he isn’t quite as mobile as he’d like to be - at least not compared to his opponent. Hirokai pulls himself to his feet, and he seems ready to get back into the match. But Santos is too quick for him, as he is able to take him off of his feet again with short-arm clothesline. Hirokai gets back up almost immediately, only to walk into a belly-to-belly suplex. Santos follows this up with several stomps to the downed body of Yokoza, before delivering an elbow drop to the stomach. This makes Hirokai sit up, gasping for air. When he’s in a seated position, Oculta Santos pulls him to his feet. He lifts Hirokai Yokoza onto his shoulders for a Samoan drop, but several quick elbows in succession to the side of his head is enough to make Santos drop him. Santos staggers forwards ever so slightly, but it gives Hirokai the fraction of an opportunity he needs to work his way back into the match. Oculta turns around, into a running headbutt. He gets back up, but Hirokai takes him down with a michinoku driver. He goes for the pin, but Santos kicks out at two.

Despite the kick out, Hirokai Yokoza is now in firm control of the match. He uses his strong style and martial arts experience to his advantage, wearing down the Japan Openweight Champion with a variety of different maneuvers. He takes him down with a huge exploder suplex, which surprises Santos. He struggles to his feet, but walks right into a spinning wheel kick. Hirokai also delivers an elbow to his opponent’s stomach, but when Oculta sits up gasping for air, Hirokai hits a double knee strike to the back of his neck. With Santos down, Yokoza capitalises by locking in a crossface, evidently causing Oculta Santos a lot of pain. On the outside, Oculta Da Silva is about to climb onto the ring apron, unseen by both Yokoza and the official. But Big Banter sprints down the ramp to prevent this from happening, throwing Oculta Da Silva into the ring post to make sure he cannot intervene. Unfortunately, this distracts Hirokai Yokoza, who releases the hold to see what had been going on. This gives Oculta Santos the opportunity to climb to his feet, and when he does so he begins to stalk his prey. Big Banter desperately tries to warn Hirokai Yokoza that Santos is behind him, but to no avail. Hirokai turns right into Santos’ “Kōsei Bomb” finisher, after which Oculta Santos hooks the leg for the cover and the three count.

Oculta Santos quickly escapes the ring, snatching his Japan Openweight Championship as he does so. Hirokai Yokoza starts to come to and upon realising what had happened, he stares daggers through Big Banter. He tries to apologise to him, but Hirokai won’t have any of it. Hirokai Yokoza begins to make his way up the ramp, in a rage. Big Banter follows beside him, trying to smooth things over.

Winner: Oculta Santos (Time: 30:01)

The cameras cut to Austin Craddock’s office, who has both Blazing KISUKE and KAZUKI seated at either end of a table. He warns the two men that if there is any physical contact during this contract signing, the man responsible will be fired. He sets out the conditions of the match, making it clear that the match will be contested under regular CWC Japan: Legacy rules, only with a thirty minute time limit as opposed to the traditional twenty minutes. It will be a one-fall to a finish contest, which may only end inside the ring. After verifying that both competitors understand the rules, Craddock signs his name on the contract. KAZUKI then warns KISUKE that he has no idea what he’s signing up for, before also signing his name onto the contract. Blazing KISUKE stares directly at KAZUKI as he signs his name, not saying anything until afterwards. Blazing says that now the contract is signed, their match is official. He points out that he asked for this match, and he did so knowing how much of a threat KAZUKI is. But he claims that KAZUKI doesn’t know how much of a threat that he is, and that next week, he will find out first hand!

#1 CONTENDERSHIP - CWC JUNIOR HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP, 60 MINUTE TIME LIMIT
MAIN EVENT
ESSENCE Ⓒ vs. SASORI SAITO

Sasori Saito is accompanied to the ring by her MURAMASA teammates. Essence makes her way down to the ring and, before the bell can even ring, she immediately heads straight for her opponent. The referee has to intervene and restrain her, much to the amusement of Sasori Saito. It’s a different story when the match does officially begin, though. Both women are straight out of the blocks, their hatred of one another clear for all to see. This becomes very much a catfight in the early stages, with plenty of scratching, clawing and even pulling of hair. With both women violating the rules as frequently as the other, the official adjusts his approach to the matchup and leaves them be. This is the case, at least, right up until a Lou Thesz press from Essence. The Gaijin Champion takes her opponent down and then mounts her, punching her repeatedly in the face. The referee sees it fit to pull her away, giving Sasori Saito room to breathe. Saito crawls to the ropes and sits against them, recovering. Essence approaches her and goes to pick Saito back up, but Saito is quick to react. She pulls Essence’s weight forward, making her land throat-first on the middle rope. She collapses on the mat, clutching at her larynx. When she gets back up to her feet, Saito drops her with a DDT before hitting an elbow drop across the already-damaged throat of Essence. She drops down and hooks both legs, making the cover. But the Gaijin Champion is able to kick out at two.

Essence rolls onto her side, frantically kicking her legs until she is able to breathe freely again. Sasori Saito, meanwhile, ignores the referee’s warning and plans her next attack. She sees Essence using the ropes to pull herself to her feet, so she decides to allow her to waste energy by doing so. When Essence turns around, Saito rushes in for a running leg lariat. But Essence ducks to a knee, making Sasori jump over her. Confused, “The Roppongi Scorpion” turns around right into a discus elbow smash. This makes her stagger backwards two small steps, leaving her vulnerable to a double knee lift - which she falls victim to. Essence shoves her knees directly into her opponent’s chest, forcing Sasori onto the canvas. Essence drops to her knees again, but only to take the opportunity to get her breath back. When she sees Saito getting back to her feet, she takes the opportunity to strike. Essence drops her with a European uppercut, and with Sasori on her back, she takes hold of her legs and turns her over, right into a Boston crab. There is clear pain on Saito’s face, who does everything she can to try and reverse the pressure. Kira Izumi and Akira Akiyama are on the outside, trying to encourage Sasori to break the hold. Eventually she’s able to get her hand to the bottom rope to force the break.

Essence breaks the hold instantly, but unfortunately for Sasori Saito the damage already seems to be done. Essence stalks her as she struggles to her feet, and when Sasori limps towards her, Essence drops her with her bicycle kick finisher. The impact knocks Saito out, all but securing Essence the victory. But before Essence can make the cover, Kira Izumi jumps onto the ring apron. The official orders him down, but he completely ignores the request. Essence, frustrated by the interference, decides to take matters into her own hands. She drops Izumi to the outside with a discus elbow smash, which causes Akira Akiyama to climb to the apron in protest. She hurls abuse in Essence’s direction, which the Gaijin Champion does not take too kindly to. She hits Akira with a European uppercut, which also sends her tumbling to the floor. But their work had already been done, as unbeknownst to Essence, Sasori Saito is back to her feet. Essence turns around, intending to finish off what she started. Instead, she walks right into Saito’s “Satsujin-sha” facebreaker finisher. Not satisfied, Sasori Saito traps Essence in her “Sasori-gatame” sharpshooter. With nowhere to go, Essence is left with no choice but to immediately tap out.

Winner: Sasori Saito (Time: 42:21)

After the bell, Sasori Saito keeps the hold locked in for a bit longer before letting go. She then climbs to her feet and has her hand raised by the official. Essence rolls out of the ring, but Akira Akiyama immediately throws her back in. When Essence comes to, she is surrounded by all three members of MURAMASA. They begin to push her around, each taking turns to have a shot at her. Mark Storm rushes down to make the save, dropping the Junior Heavyweight Championship onto the ring apron. He pulls Kira Izumi away, but Akira Akiyama helps her partner out to make it two-on-one as Saito is left to kick lumps out of Essence by herself. Mark Storm holds his own for as long as he can, but the numbers game begins to overwhelm him. Just as things are beginning to seem desperate for Storm and Essence, the lights in the arena go out. When they come back on, Eddy Poe is standing in the ring. Realising that the numbers are no longer on their side, MURAMASA flee the ring. Eddy helps both Mark Strom and Essence to their feet, and the trio stare daggers into their retreating foes. Sasori Saito shouts something in Japanese, but both Essence and Mark Storm respond by holding their respective championships over their heads. There’s a staredown between the six of them as the show fades out.
