GCW INTERNET CHAMPIONSHIP Caroline Clarke vs. Deacon Thomas ©
We are live on YouTube once again for the GCW Internet Championship match. Last week Deacon Thomas was able to survive a four way match by stealing a pin from Caroline Clarke, but now that they are in the ring one on one he has to prove that he can beat her without distractions. The bell sounds and these two wrestlers meet in the ring for the lockup. Thomas swivels into a headlock and slams Clarke to the ground, but she reaches up and places him in a leg scissors. Deacon rounds to his feet and pushes Clarke away before bouncing off of the ropes and slamming into her with a shoulder block. He tries for the quick pin, but it only nets a two count. Clarke quickly pulls herself up and catches Deacon with an elbow. She drops him to the ground and begins peppering him with closed fist shots, but Deacon reverses her momentum and moves on top, landing some of his own. The beginning of the match continued to be a back and forth affair, and the crowd was split on who to root for - some hoping that Clarke could get even after a tough loss last week, others hoping to see Deacon’s string of successful defenses continue.
Midway through the match the pace changed and Deacon took control after a spinning sitout spinebuster. Clarke kicked out at two, but the move did enough damage to allow Thomas to keep on the offensive. He pulled her up, hoping to slam her back down with Electro Magnetic, but she slipped through and landed a hard kick to the back of his knee, dropping Deacon down. Clarke bounced off of the ropes and placed a hard dropkick right on the back of his head, stunning him long enough to move into a modified crossface. Thomas reached for the ropes, but Clarke wrenched the hold in even more, putting a lot of pressure on the back of his neck. Thomas finally managed to roll through into a pinning predicament before he was forced to tap out. Clarke kicked out at two.
Clarke immediately went to the outside of the ring, hoping to put Thomas away with the phenomenal forearm, but when Thomas got to his feet he stepped out of the way at the last second. Clarke rolled through, avoiding an impact, and landed on her feet, but Thomas slammed her with a running big boot. He went for the pin, but Clarke rolled out of the ring. Frustrated, Thomas pounded the mat. He chased after Clarke but she rounded the corner before he could reach her and slipped into the ring. Clarke was still dazed as Thomas charged once again with a big boot attempt, but this time she ducked under it and then slammed him down with a neckbreaker. 1...2...No! Thomas fought out of it. Clarke pulled him up and bounced off of the ropes, trying for the rolling elbow, but Thomas moved in early and sent her up and over with a back body drop. Deacon posed to the crowd, feeling confident that he was about to put this one away. He turned around and moved in towards Clarke, but she caught him with a small package, and it was in tight! 1...2...3! Caroline Clarke has done it! Thomas’ impressive reign is over, and he is shocked! Clarke celebrated with the belt as the pre-show faded to close.
WINNER: CAROLINE CLARKE (NEW GCW INTERNET CHAMPION)

GCW 26 – OLD WOUNDS REOPENED
LIVE FROM THE MISSISSIPPI COLISEUM - JACKSON, MS SATURDAY – OCTOBER 28, 2017
The show begins with a rare cold open. The announcers welcome us to Jackson, Mississippi as we see Caroline Clarke moving to the center of the ring with the GCW Internet Championship over her shoulder. She helps Deacon to his feet, but he is still frustrated. He moves over to the corner of the ring and asks for a microphone which is handed to him by the announcer. He turns to Caroline and says that after last week she congratulated him on his victory, despite it not coming under normal circumstances. He says that this week he is going to do the same. He raises her hand and the crowd responds with a mix of cheers and boos. But Thomas isn’t done. He says that he held the belt longer than anyone should ever hold that belt. He turned it into something special, and he says he isn’t done building that belt. Now they are even. One win for Deacon, one win for Caroline. Deacon says that next week at On Hallowed Ground, they should settle this once and for all. A rubber match between the two of them - one on one with the title on the line. The crowd cheers. Caroline takes the mic and says it would be her pleasure. The two shake on it and we fade into the opening video package for this stacked episode of GCW.

Leela Watts vs. Luke Jones
Back from the commercial break, it is time for what should be a huge match as the current CWC World Champion takes on the man who will face her boyfriend at On Hallowed Ground, Luke Jones. Zack Burton paces around ringside, ready to get involved if he has to. As soon as the bell rings, Cosmo Cooper makes his way down to the ring. He’s out here to make sure Zack Burton remains a non-factor. Leela is pleased to see him, and Luke Jones takes advantage of her temporary distraction by jumping her as she has her back turned. He slams her across the back before pulling her into a waistlock for a german suplex, but Leela elbows her way out of this and then swivels around to hit him with a dropkick. Luke backs into the corner and Leela connects with a stinger splash that is transitioned into a running bulldog. The crowd is on their feet as she tries for a pin. 1...2...No! Zack Burton jumps onto the apron and begins arguing with the referee. Luke begins to claw at Leela’s eyes. Cosmo moves around the outside and pulls Burton off of the apron and the two begin brawling. Finally Cosmo shoves Burton hard enough that he trips over the steel ring steps.
In the ring Luke is landing some mounted punches on Leela and she is doing her best to block them. Luke pulls her up by the hair and talks some smack, saying she isn’t good enough to be the world champion, before slamming her down with a russian legsweep. 1...2...No! Cosmo Cooper is leading the crowd in chants as Luke pulls Leela up and she immediately begins trying to back him off with shots to the gut. Luke lurches forward with a knee to Leela’s ribs and then bounces her across the ropes, hoping for the first part of Plus Ultra that may put this one away. Instead Leela moves in with a running crossbody that Luke wasn’t prepared for. 1...2...No! Luke tosses Leela up and rises to his feet quickly, but meets a slingblade that sends him down once again. Leela is up and lets out a roar of emotion before she tries for the bow and arrow submission. Luke counters into a drop toehold and then moves forward to slam Leela’s head into the mat.
As Leela struggles to get back to her feet, Luke plays to the crowd and gets a big chorus of boos for his effort. He turns to Cosmo Cooper and begins talking some trash, and Cosmo is fine with dishing it out himself. Cosmo moves onto the apron and Luke grabs him by the neck, but Cosmo holds his hands in the air showing the referee that he is innocent, protecting Leela from disqualification. The referee moves in and pushes Luke away, saying that he has no issue with calling for a DQ if Luke can’t get a hold of himself. By this point Leela has made it to her feet, and while Luke is busy dealing with the referee she moves in and connects with the Leela Bomb! Luke never saw it coming! Leela immediately pulled herself up to make the pin, but when she got close enough Zack Burton grabbed Luke’s leg and pulled him out of the ring. Leela watched as Burton pulled Luke onto his shoulders and began carrying him to the back as the referee counted Luke out of this match. The bell sounded and Leela was declared the winner. We cut to the back with Cosmo and Leela in the ring watching Zack carry Luke behind the curtain.
WINNER: LEELA WATTS [COUNTOUT]
In the back we see Chris Callum sitting behind his desk sorting through some papers. The door to his office swings open and in comes Ashley Tierney, Ashley Marie Chase, and Nicole Evans. They take over the office and soon after Tierney is behind Callum’s desk. She tells him that after all she has done for GCW in recent months, it is Callum’s turn to repay the favor. She says that she wants to be the special guest referee for tonight’s match between Caroline O’Hara Burchill and Thomas Cromartie for the Legacy Championship. Callum wants to know why Tierney is interested in that match. Tierney says that she just got a new referee’s shirt custom made and she wants to try it out. Callum’s eyes drift to Evans and Chase who seem to be equally as interested in that match. Callum finally relents, saying that Tierney can serve as the special guest referee so long as she promises to call it right down the middle. Tierney scoffs, as if she would ever break the rules. The three girls wave goodbye to Callum and exit the office. We get a lingering shot of his face, and it's clear he knows that he has made a horrible mistake.

#1 CONTENDERSHIP - GCW LONE STAR CHAMPIONSHIP Alejandra vs. Gilbert Geiger vs. Vanessa Hendrix
Alejandra, Gilbert Geiger, and Vanessa Hendrix are set to face off in a three way match which will determine the new number one contender for Josh Holloway’s Lone Star Championship. Holloway has made it out to ringside to watch this one up close. The bell sounds and we are off. Hendrix and Alejandra gang up on Geiger in the beginning and toss him out of the ring. Ale uses this chance to connect with a neckbreaker on Hendrix. 1...2...No! She pulls Hendrix up and connects with a snap suplex before quickly transitioning into the boston crab. Hendrix reaches for the ropes, but Ale pulls her into the middle of the ring and adds more pressure to the hold. Geiger slips back inside and connects with a DDT to Alejandra before going for the pin. 1...2...No! Ale kicks out and tries to roll into the corner for safety.
Geiger begins to target Hendrix, who he knows very well at this point. He grabs her by the legs but she kicks him off and Geiger ends up in the corner opposite of Alejandra. Alejandra rushes towards him and connects with a leg lariat into the corner before spilling out onto the apron. She necks him on the top rope and Geiger staggers right into a spear from Hendrix! 1...2...Ale breaks it up! She begins planting forearms across the back of Hendrix, but is soon caught in a belly to belly suplex and meets the mat hard. 1...2...Kickout! Hendrix looks back to Geiger who is trying to pull himself up using the ropes. She kicks his foot out from under him and Geiger lands hard on the mat. Hendrix lifts him up for the jackhammer and pulls him into the middle of the ring. As she lifts him, Geiger lets his knee drift down and it catches her right in the head. Hendrix drops him and Geiger lands on his feet, pulling her in close and connecting with the ripcord high knee that he calls Toxicity! 1…2...Ale breaks up another one! She pushes Geiger away and hooks Hendrix’s leg. 1...2...Geiger is there! He pulls Alejandra to her feet and begins mercilessly chopping her, backing her into the corer. Geiger sets her up on the top rope, trying for a superplex, but Alejandra kicks her way out of danger and Geiger goes tumbling back. She climbed to the very top rope and was standing up there, possibly looking for Decelerator, but Hendrix came from out of nowhere, scaled to the top rope, and tossed Alejandra across the ring with a belly to back suplex! Both women were down, and there was no one able to capitalize.
A few moments later everyone was beginning to make their way up. Geiger and Hendrix met in the middle first, and Geiger managed to get the better of a brawl that had Hendrix reeling against the topes. Alejandra was next, still reeling from that drop, and she came behind Geiger and slapped on a waistlock. Geiger reached back with some elbows and began clocking Ale, but she rolled through into a pinning situation. 1...2...No! Hendrix rushed forward with a forearm that absolutely rocked Alejandra. Before she could try for the pin, Ale had rolled out of the ring. Hendrix thought about following her, but decided not to. She turned around, incredibly frustrated, but Geiger was right there waiting for her. He lifted her onto his shoulders - GEIGER COUNTER! It connects! He hooks the leg… 1...2...3! That’s it! Samantha Brooks begins cheering at ringside because Gilbert Geiger is going to On Hallowed Ground with a title shot!
WINNER: GILBERT GEIGER (NEW #1 CONTENDER - GCW LONE STAR CHAMPIONSHIP)
After the match, Josh Holloway enters the ring with the title over his shoulder to congratulate Geiger on his victory. Samantha Brooks is quick to shake his hand and tell Holloway that the two of them are looking forward to the match at On Hallowed Ground. Holloway makes his way over to Geiger who has been standing on the edge of the ring with a strange look on his face. Holloway extends his hand and Geiger looks at it as Brooks begs him to shake it. Finally, Geiger moves in and shakes Holloway’s hand, but then he pulls him in and slams him with the high knee that he calls Toxicity! Holloway falls to the ground hard and holds his head as Brooks looks on in horror. Geiger pulls up the belt and screams at Brooks “I’M NOT COMING UP SHORT AGAIN!” He looks at the belt for a while and then tosses it down onto Holloway before jumping out of the ring. Brooks tends to Holloway, apologizing for everything, as we fade to commercial.

#1 CONTENDERSHIP - GCW LEGACY CHAMPIONSHIP Brien Storm vs. Journeyman Phillips vs. Trish Newborn
The second our number one contenders matches is set to begin, and these three competitors are ready to make their mark. Trish Newborn and Journeyman Phillips are ready to go, but Brien Storm is soaking it all in for the first time as he makes his way here from CWL. The bell sounds and this one starts off - Journeyman Phillips is the target at the beginning of the match. Newborn backs him into the corner and allows Storm to get the glory of connecting with a running dropkick. That was about it for their alliance, though, as Newborn tossed Storm to the outside before going back to work on Phillips. Journeyman hit a knee to the gut of Newborn and then pulled her hair hard enough to slam her down to the mat. He went for a quick cover, pressing his forearm against her face. 1...2...No! Journeyman went right back to work with a reverse DDT that was transitioned smoothly into a dragon sleeper. Newborn seemed to be in a very bad place, but Storm snuck back into the ring to break it up.
Storm went to work on Journeyman, slamming some forearms into his back before pulling him up. Storm got Journeyman on his shoulders and dropped him down hard with an electric chair. The veteran held his lower back in pain as Storm dropped into the cover. 1...2...NO! Storm slowed things down with a chin lock, but before long Newborn was up and pulled Storm into a suplex position. She lifted him up for the slam, but Storm landed on his feet. He shoved Newborn from behind and she bounced neck first on the middle rope and stayed there. Storm bounced off of the ropes and swing his leg through the middle, connecting with the 0114! Journeyman was up, and he caught the backpedaling Newborn with a double arm DDT. He went for the cover. 1...2...STORM BROKE IT UP! He bounced off of the top rope with a springboard legdrop that hit right across Journeyman’s back. Storm rolled Journeyman over for the pin. 1...2...He kicked out! Storm fell on his back, frustrated that this still wasn’t enough to win the match. All of the competitors were down, breathing heavily.
Suddenly the crowd popped as Claude Rousseau made his way down to the ring, determined to help Journeyman Phillips. By the time he got to the ring, Newborn and Storm had reached a vertical base, and when Claude stepped inside, both of them rushed forward and met him with elbows to the face. Claude fell out of the ring and both Newborn and Storm turned around at the same time as Journeyman began charging them. Storm stepped out of the way and Journeyman connected with a shoulder block right to Newborn, sending her down hard. But Storm caught him with a high kick and then dumped him over the top rope.
Storm began to line Newborn up for his signature Michinoku Driver, but suddenly he was spun around and clocked across the head with a steel chair! The camera revealed it to be Madalyn Macie! She got down close to Brien Storm and screamed at him that he stole her spot in this match, and that he should go back to the shithole he came from. Macie pulled Newborn on top of Storm and the referee made the count. 1...2...3! Trish Newborn is going to On Hallowed Ground! The referee raised Newborn’s hand but she was still trying to figure out exactly how it happened. Meanwhile, Macie pulled Storm up and slammed him down with Clearwater Revival! Macie stands tall as we fade to the back.
WINNER: TRISH NEWBORN (NEW #1 CONTENDER - GCW LEGACY CHAMPIONSHIP)
We find ourselves in the locker room of Zack Burton and Luke Jones. Luke holds an ice back across the back of his neck and screams at Zack. He says that he could have won that match if Zack didn’t pull him out of the ring. Zack says that Luke was knocked out cold and there was no chance. He says he saved Luke from embarrassment. Luke doesn’t believe it. He says the most embarrassing thing that happened tonight was Zack pulling him off against his will. Zack tells him to relax because they can still take this night. He says he has broken Cosmo Cooper in half many times, and doing it again will be easy. Luke says that it better be easy, but he doesn’t pay Zack the big bucks to come up short like they just did. With that, Luke storms out of the locker room, kicking a trash can on his way out. We fade to commercial.

GCW LEGACY CHAMPIONSHIP Caroline O’Hara Burchill vs. Rev. Thomas Cromartie SPECIAL GUEST REFEREE: ASHLEY TIERNEY
Caroline O’Hara Burchill and Thomas Cromartie are in the ring first, but, of course, the biggest entrance goes to Ashley Tierney. She wears her custom fitted referee’s outfit and makes her way down to the ring with a smile on her face and Ashley Marie Chase and Nicole Evans flanking her, both with their eyes focused on Burchill. The Champion knows that the odds are against her tonight, but she doesn’t shy away from a fight. Tierney enters the ring with Chase and Evans alongside her and she quickly calls for the bell. Cromartie goes right after Burchill, but Tierney holds him back. Burchill is quickly covered by Chase and Evans who began pounding away at her. Chase held Burchill up as Evans kicked her over and over again, repeating “you don’t know who you pissed off”. Tierney walked over and screamed at Burchill before kicking her in the face. The camera turned over to The Rev who was happy to watch all of this go down.
The crowd was firmly behind Burchill, but despite her best efforts she couldn’t overcome the three versus one odds. Tierney allowed Evans to do the honors, and Evans connected with The Coronation, finally bringing an end to the beatdown for now. Tierney called for Rev to come over and make the pin, to which he happily obliged. Rev made the pin. 1...2...3! That was it! The Rev was the new Legacy Champion!
WINNER: REV. THOMAS CROMARTIE (NEW GCW LEGACY CHAMPION)
After the match The Rev has escaped the ring with the title over his shoulder and a huge smile on his face. Chase and Evans continue the beatdown while Tierney goes to grab a microphone. Tierney says that this is not the end of Burchill’s penance for embarrassing her crew one week ago. She says that next week, at On Hallowed Ground, Burchill is going to have to face her and Evans in a two on one handicap match. She says that will teach Burchill once and for not to pick on people way out of her league. With that, Tierney drops the mic and then charges forward and connects with the somersault cutter that she calls RESIGNATION! The crowd boos as Tierney’s music picks up once again and the three women raise their hands high into the air.
