WEDNESDAY NIGHT WARFARE 11

LIVE FROM TACOMA DOME – TACOMA, WA
SATURDAY - OCTOBER 28, 2017

The first edition of Saturday Night Warfare began with the introduction of the new owner of the company, O.G. Williams. Williams, greeted with a polite round of applause, hailed the start of a new day in the Pacific Northwest, a territory that, in his words, had fallen on hard times as of late. While alluding to the fresh crop of talent he’s already planned to bring through the doors, Williams also announced that he was making two major changes.

One, as he had already announced on Twitter, was the integration of the PNW Championship, allowing both men and women to compete for the title. Tonight, he reminded fans, four women (Ava Tremblay, Rhiannon Leblanc, Rose, and newcomer Britt Kane) would join El Forestaro and Ryan Henderson in a six-person scramble to determine a new number one contender to the title. As for what that meant to the PNW Women’s Title...O.G. announced the rebranding of the championship as the PNW 15 Title! This new title, also intergendered, would be competed for in a 15 minute Iron Man match, where the wrestler with the most falls would win the match and the title. That, he said, began with tonight’s match between champion Veeka Manns and her number one challenger, Alyssa Davies.

And in his final announcement, Williams revealed that the following contender to the PNW Championship would be determined at the next Warzone, taking place in Seattle...via a Beat The Clock Challenge! The six people involved would be named in the coming weeks, with the event happening on Saturday, December 2. Before he could continue, the pair of Tay Kamryn and Scarlett (the latter more than a little bit hesitantly) approached the ring, with Kamryn reminding O.G. that he hadn’t named a replacement partner for their team, as Adam Sanders had been mistakenly double booked and was not in the building.

Williams smiled, revealing their partner; one half of Mal Raza, El Santo Guerrero!

Tay Kamryn, Scarlett, and El Santo Guerrero vs. KONSTANTINE and Pike Place Collective

Santo started for his team, against Jax Levin. It was easy going early on for the muscular luchador, who used his power to win a test of strength, and overpower his opponent early. However, he found himself on the end of several double team moves, something he didn’t have as much access to with Valiente DARK not in his corner. After reversing a double team backdrop attempt by steamrolling the Collective over, he made the tag to Scarlett, who seemed to be on a roll early on, but was cut off by a KONSTANTINE spear after he tagged himself in. From there, he controlled the match, bossing the Collective to keep cutting off Scarlett and her partners (though they did it somewhat reluctantly). Scarlett slipped out, however, of an attempted Aurora Driver and shoved KONSTANTINE into Asher Crosby; while it was technically a tag, both men were confused long enough to allow Scarlett to tag Kamryn in, who was a ball of fire in her first match back after a long injury layoff. The match quickly descended into chaos, but in the middle of it appeared Valiente DARK! Mal Raza struck, Santo throwing his partner like a weapon onto Crosby while the referee tried to get KONSTANTINE out of the ring! Valiente rolled out, and disappeared as quickly as he arrived, while Kamryn dove on top for the pin, and the win!

WINNERS: TAY KAMRYN, SCARLETT, AND EL SANTO GUERRERO

Somewhere to Run by Krewella plays from a nearby backstage monitor as the stacked and curvy form of Tabitha Nerise Tremont comes to stand next to it. With a wide grin she turns to the side so that the images on the monitor can be seen. Mostly as expected there are clips of her more impressive matches, and one that she clearly is very proud of (as the overlay of pink sparklers and other video effects show, and that’s her powerbombing KOL, using a prime example of Leverage Is Science and So Is Opportunity! She sighs happily after watching it, and then turns to the cameras with an equally happy smile on her face. She introduces herself to the fans as Tabitha Tremont, and tells them that she’s excited to start wrestling here at Pacific Northwest Wrestling. She says that she looks forward to her match against Christine here tonight, and that she only hopes that the fans will enjoy watching her powerbomb people as much as she enjoys doing it! She grins and waves before pointing to her t-shirt that has her own logo on it, along with the words: All The Powerbombs.

Texas Wrecking Crew vs. The Madsens

The Crew got the jump on their opponents, knowing that their jobs were on the line, even if the management situation had changed in the week and a half since this stipulation was dropped on them. A wild brawl ensued, the referee being told by O.G. Williams to let the four brawl freely, as long as there was a decision; no DQ or countout would cheat the Wrecking Crew out of their jobs, per the new boss! And early on, it seemed like it would be easy going for the Texans, even hitting their backdrop suplex/neckbreaker combo on Sansa for a two! That seemed to set Alex off, however, and he barrelled through the pair, hitting them with almost every big move he had in his arsenal, culminating with hitting the Peace of Mind on The Technician, to get the pin, the win, and send the Texas Wrecking Crew out of Pacific Northwest Wrestling!

WINNERS: ALEX & SANSA MADSEN

The pair were greeted at the top of the ramp by O.G. Williams, who named the pair Number One Contenders for the win, and telling them they would face The Gear Society at Warzone: Seattle on December 2!

The shot opens to KONSTANTINE backstage with his head resting on his arms, a graphic noting this was from “EARLIER TODAY.” He prods at a lonely chess piece, a rook, which he topples over with a nudge. Soon, he rises up with a long sigh. A brief glimpse of those sharp blue eyes gets the crowd cheering a tad. One of PNW's longest running stars and the former number one contender seems bitter today.

KONSTANTINE: "It's not reasonable for me to sit here and have to tend to the youth of this company. I, outside of Liam, have been a consistent competitor. Now that two new commodities have come in, they're thrust to the top without any fanfare. For what? Ramsay may lord over PAROUSIA, and he has that bastard accompanying and aiding with whispers. The other one? Vivi? What has she done to warrant that, outside of garner a name for herself out of embarrassing herself?"

KONSTANTINE pinches the bridge of his nose, letting out a tired sigh.

KONSTANTINE: "But, no, I'm to--babysit. I hope Williams understands my plight and what I have to do to show that. Loudmouths, degenerates, neophytes, and sycophants. Is that what I'm due to wait on?"

His annoyance prevails his commonly serene demeanor as he continues to speak into the void. It's not until he hears new footsteps that he turns around. Standing in full frame is one of the newest signees, someone that KONSTANTINE would deem as a "child". Nico Costello hums to himself as he makes his way down the hallway, with earbuds in. He stops and looks up, seeing the glare that KONSTANTINE aims at him.

Nico, seeing this, puts a cap on the water bottle and brushes his hands on the sides of his track pants. He sticks out a hand to the face-painted veteran.

Nico Costello: "Hola, senor, mi es Nico. Nice to meet you."

KONSTANTINE continues to stare, which doesn't affect the boy.

Nico Costello: "You know, I dig the whole face paint thing. It's intimidating, but isn't it a little counterproductive? It gets smeared off all the time. Does that get annoying?"

He doesn't wait for an answer, shrugging.

Nico Costello: "That's not my question to know the answer to. Whatever. I just got here, really, and I wanted to say 'hi' to people before I go out. You're the first, big man."

KONSTANTINE shifts around in his seat before taking Nico's hand and swatting it away. He towers over Nico, his mere presence making the boy take a step back, if only to get some room.

Nico Costello: "I heard you yelling. I get it, man."

That does get a head tilt out of the taller man.

Nico Costello: "But you were once the 'kid', right? Before all the World Championships and whatever, you were just like us. Just like me. I mean, you probably got a lot more talent than me. I've seen you dissect people. You're a survivor and that takes more smarts than I got."

Nico's bright smile makes KONSTANTINE cringe.

Nico Costello: "Don't call yourself old and gray, just yet. You got a full head of hair and you can keep up with the most of us. Don't be down on yourself just yet. You made it to the top of PNW before. Just do it again, and everyone would have to take notice. That's what I'm doing."

A brisk smack on the arm and Nico scoots his way past KONSTANTINE, putting one of his earbuds back in.

Nico Costello: "One day, you'll look back and say you're proud of us 'kids', man. I just hope we can bear the torch."

As Nico leaves, KONSTANTINE looks forward with squinted eyes. He doesn't say anything for a while and simply sighs. He goes back to preparing for the upcoming match.

Christine (w/ Sue York) vs. Tabitha Tremont

While Tremont might be new to PNW, she’s not new to the region, having most recently competed in Portland Pro Wrestling, a fact not lost on some of the fans here in Tacoma...though her opponent didn’t hurt in terms of getting the fans behind Tremont in this one. These two seemed evenly matched early on, but Christine took advantage after reversing a Tabby powerbomb into a DDT! Keeping her stronger opponent on the ground, Christine seemed to have the match well in hand until she got a little overconfident and went up top for her Dark Matter finisher! Tabby moved, and took over the match, hitting a series of powerbombs, each getting a two count. She went for the TNT spinning powerbomb, but found her foot grabbed by Sue York! That foot pull allowed Christine to fall down on top of Tabitha, the leverage (plus Tabby’s free leg being hooked) allowing Christine to steal the win from the jaws of defeat!

WINNER: CHRISTINE

Unsatisfied with that win on its own, Christine began stomping away on Tabby until, of all people FORCE Pro’s Michael Kelly made a surprise appearance, his first in PNW, to run off the wrestler/manager pair and help Tabby up! While the announcers speculated what Kelly was doing in Tacoma, we went to a promo for…

Hard Hearted vs. Kyle Overstreet & Ethan Jacobs

Maybe it’s the time away from the ring for Ana and Robb Hardy, maybe it’s them underestimating Overstreet and Jacobs. Either way, the rookies give the veterans all they can handle, and maybe even a little more; they seem to always scrape out of having the ring cut off from them, and have more than a few double team moves up their sleeves! Late in the match, they’ve got Robb Hardy’s back against the wall, and look ready to hit him with a Hart Attack-style clothesline, but an aware Ana Hardy makes the tag into the match! They catch and hit Robb, Ethan making the pin, but the referee waves it off! Ana slips into the ring, kicking Ethan in the face and sending him flying, and before Ethan can react, hits her own finisher, securing the win for Hard Hearted in their PNW debut!

WINNERS: HARD HEARTED

Legacy.

That is the first word spoken by a mysterious figure, sitting in a chair with his back to the camera, his voice vaguely familiar to some. He continues on, explaining that a legacy is how you’d be remembered after you’re gone. The story of you and what you did that persists. One of the goals in wrestling was to create a lasting legacy, to be remembered. The greats left behind great legacies. Stories of successes piled on top of one another, of standing on top of the world. Being remembered as successes. But what about others, those who didn’t reach that, what legacies would they have, how would they be remembered?

What will the legacy be then? One of a career sullied by drug abuse, or one marked by consistent inconsistency, or failing to keep a good company from rotting, or sacrificing others for yourself...or perhaps all of those combined. He stands up, finally, as he continues to speak. That was his legacy as of now, a legacy of what not to do, a caution story. But he wasn’t content with that. He wanted more, he wanted to finally break past everything he’d done before. Meet the potential he never reached before. Wipe away the past, leaving a better story behind. He turned to face the camera then, allowing it to take in the sight of the once-retired wrestler, the former company owner, the man who’s legacy right now is one of failure and trying to sacrifice his friends for glory.

The man looking for a new beginning.

“My name is Nicholas Gray. This will be my true legacy.”

PNW Championship Number One Contenders Scramble
Ava Tremblay vs. Rose vs. Ryan Henderson vs. Rhiannon Leblanc vs. Britt Kane vs. El Forestaro

Chaos from the get go, this one never had a chance of being organized! The early favorite in this one appeared to be Leblanc, who had a handful of near falls on El Forestaro, but each one was broken up by a different opponent! Henderson found himself knocked out of the match a few minutes in, having been hit just right by a Britt Kane elbow...that knocked him out, and out of the ring, leaving her unable to capitalize. The end came, however, when Kane and Forestaro began double-teaming Rhiannon, finishing with them double clotheslining her out to the floor...and she grabbed them, pulling both opponents out of the ring. Tremblay, turning away from that, found herself dropped by a Rose right hand, and locked into the “Take Your Breath Away” body scissors, and one “I Quit” later, Rose had fulfilled her wish, becoming number one contender to Liam Callaghan!

WINNER: ROSE

“Ladies, Gentlemen and Members of the Jury,” came the voice, smooth and sophisticated. As the camera came into focus, the charismatic man in black, Bobby B. Barabbas is revealed to the audience. The former deathmatch specialist and Underworld champion has a wide grin upon his face, as he bids the Pacific Northwestern fans well, stating to them that he is both proud and honoured to have the opportunity to welcome his client to them, a man who is no stranger to the squared circles of Oregon and Washington, the man known as Ramsay Bodach. The lumbering monstrosity appeared then by his side, standing nearly seven feet tall, bare chested and ferocious. The behemoth simply stares into the camera, completely emotionless but breathing heavily, whilst his enigmatic manager bills him as not only the biggest thing to hit Pacific Northwest, but the biggest thing to ever hit CWC… And soon everyone will know why. G=He reminds the audience how his client has dominated the Oregon and Washington scene in Portland Pro, as well as him being the ruling and undefeated Emperor of PAROUSIA, and he will be both bringing his dominance and success to the Purple brand of CWC. He clearly states that tonight, there is a real reason why his client has been propelled like a rocket ship to the main event, and this is where he both belongs and where he will be staying. Ramsay himself just glares into the camera, giving a look of death and destruction as he does so. He finishes with a very simple phrase.

“We’re going to have a very nice time…” And then the camera feed fades away.

PNW 15 TITLE
Veeka Manns © vs. Alyssa Davies

Neither competitor entered the match prepared for what had been put upon them; while they’d had longer battles before, the “Iron Man” aspect of their 15 minute match put both on edge from the start. That was especially evident when Davies claimed the first fall (what at the beginning of the night would’ve won her the Women’s Title) with a rope-assisted roll up!

4:22, DAVIES - 1, MANNS - 0

Veeka flipped out, but went right on the attack, throwing Alyssa outside and going after her, making sure to bend as many rules as possible before throwing Davies into the ringside railing, head first, and rolling back in to beat the count!

6:45, DAVIES - 1, MANNS - 1

The count actually started again, but before Veeka could ring up two falls off two countouts, Alyssa returned to the ring, and the two began trading heavy blows! This continued for several minutes, until Davies, after hitting a big enzuigiri, climbed up top, to look for a top-rope somersault cutter...which Veeka avoided! A stunned Alyssa rose to her feet, but was hit with a kick, and a Canadian Destroyer for the lead!

13:35, DAVIES - 1, MANNS - 2

Davies was stunned, but tried to rally, with under 90 seconds to score just one fall. However, Veeka showed surprising ring awareness, always staying close to the ropes to either throw a foot on them, or escape the ring before Alyssa could get a pinfall!

WINNER (AND STILL PNW 15 CHAMPION): VEEKA MANNS

A brief vignette aired, with credit at the bottom made to Femme Fatale Wrestling, for someone making their PNW debut next week…”The Queen of King County,” Sophia Pike!

MAIN EVENT
Liam Callaghan © & Ramsay Bodach (w/ Bobby B. Barabbas) vs. Jackson Fleck & Mistress Vivi

Both Champion and his former challenger were joined by newcomers to the territory (and to CWC in general). Much like Tabitha Tremont, Bodach was familiar to Portland Pro fans, and The Emperor of PAROUSIA’s powerful style matched up against Fleck’s style. The two seemed fairly even matched early in the match, and after a cry from Bobby B. Barabbas (who was carrying a notable black, velvet bag in his arms), the two gave way to Liam and Vivi, which was much more of a clash of styles, the PNW Champion’s technical style trying to keep the Voodoo Mistress’ high flying attack on the ground. But it wasn’t her aerial tactics that put Liam on the defensive, it was an eye rake. Vivi and Flecks, despite their...highly narcissistic personal views, made an excellent team, keeping Ramsay from getting back in the ring legally, and keeping Liam grounded. That is...until Liam dodged a Flecks clothesline that rocked Vivi! The pair that had been in control started arguing, allowing Liam to make the tag to his “Nice” partner, and Ramsay unleashed his power on the arguing pair! He put Jackson down with his one handed chokeslam, and turned his attention to Vivi. But before he could finish his Blackthorn Breaker, a member of Vivi’s harem (a scantily clad man who had a body that...maybe on his best day might rival Fleck’s body) scrambled in and hit Bodach from behind, drawing the DQ and breaking the hold!

WINNERS: LIAM CALLAGHAN & RAMSAY BODACH (via DQ)

An angered Ramsay turned, hitting another chokeslam on the interloper as Vivi escaped, waving both her downed helper and her tag partner off as she left ringside. Ramsay looked over at Liam, offering him a hand and helping the champion to his feet, though the PNW Champion’s eyes shifted between both Bodach and Barrabas uneasily as the show ended.
