WEDNESDAY NIGHT WARFARE 11

LIVE FROM GILL COLLISEUM - CORVALLIS, OR
SATURDAY - NOVEMBER 11, 2017

Before the intro even airs, it is only a matter of time, a small one, before Nico Costello would walk out for his match with the former number one contender. The camera cuts to the new, spirited rookie shadow-boxing the area. He shows a brief glimpse into his Wing Chun technique, as she starts to practice his strikes and maneuvering onto the practice structure in front of him. He stops after a while, showing some partial nervousness. He pats his face with both of his palms before seeing the camera.

Nico Costello: I’ve been doing everything I can, ya know? It’s not too often you get to face off against the top of the roster. Sans the champion, Jackson is at the top. So I fight him, then I get a chance to fight KONSTANTINE, and I’d have faced some of the best in the company before Mr. Williams came through.

Nico chuckles, patting him with his towel and taking a swig of his water bottle.

Nico Costello: Speaking of which, he’s been giving me quite the slate. Not only am I going to Japan to fight Genji Yamato, but next I get to fight Adrien Cochrane, a former mutli-time champion. This is going to be intense. But hey, it’s all in the road to becoming the best I can be. If I can beat them all, then that means there’s progress. That progress will make me be able to reach the top of any place that I’m in. I’ll be able to beat the Jackson Fleck’s, the Veeka Mann’s, and any one else.

Once more, he throws some punches, showing his excitement settling in over anything else.

Nico Costello: Look out, world, here comes Nico Costello--El Halcon Platino! Jackson, I hope you’re ready. You got a good few minutes before I try to give you the fight of your life!

He pauses, and looks at his palm.

Nico Costello: First, Jackson, then Genji, and then Adrien. Let’s go.

He tells himself this before he heads off to start the show, and we head to the show opening package, recapping major events from the previous week; but before heading to the ring...

Backstage, Agatha Edison is talking to Gear Gamma. Gear Gamma is, of course, not talking back. Agatha says that the Geardust bit last week didn't seem to affect the Madsens any, so they're going to have to try something else--but that's okay. Agatha says she's been looking into more contemporary wrestling... and she thinks she's figured out the perfect way to get into the heads of the number one contenders to the PNW Tag Team titles.

Nico Costello vs. Jackson Fleck

Nico puts up a hell of a fight, including several extremely close falls, but tonight just isn't his night, and Fleck puts his name in the bucket for Beat The Clock in Seattle with a win.

WINNER: JACKSON FLECK

Backstage, Liam Callaghan was preparing for his match in his locker room when he noticed he camera on him. He looked up and smiled before he started to speak. He mentioned how he figured they wanted him to say a few words before his big match tonight. Liam went on to say that he knows it’s a big deal, even if it is a six way tag match, especially since Rose is going up against him on the other side.

But just because Rose is on the other team, it doesn’t mean that Liam is looking past the Murder City Saints either. He knows that he’s going to have his hands full in this match up but he believes that Team Overkill and himself can come out the winners. Liam would go on to say that he’s going to use this match to prove once again why he’s the Undisputed PNW Champion and why that’s not going to change any time soon Liam then went back to prepping for his match and the scene cut out.

After Alex Madsen and Ethan Jacobs reach the ring for their match, the sound of a heavy heartbeat fills the arena. The lights flash, and a thick fog begins to roll down the entry ramp. The heartbeat picks up its pace, beating faster and faster, until... big, dramatic music starts to play. Agatha Edison appears in the entryway, wearing... some sort of body paint, and a dreadlocked wig. The bodypaint looks like it's supposed to resemble a mouth with fangs, but she's done a terrible job of putting it on, so it just looks really goofy.

The lights return to normal, and Agatha begins to crawl toward the ring. Slowly. Very slowly. During certain beats of the song she rises, throwing her arms out and posing... and then returns to crawling with agonizing slowness. Eventually, the people in the ring get tired of waiting for her, and they go ahead and start the match.

Madsen, who had in recent weeks said he was taking a more serious stance against his opponents here in PNW, had his wife at ringside, and both seemed...more amused than disturbed by Agatha's "distraction." That said, it seemed to be on Ethan's side early on, but it wouldn't be enough for the youngster, as the veteran Alex Madsen snagged the win.

WINNER: ALEX MADSEN

The match is over, and Agatha has barely made it halfway to the ring. She's still doing her drawn out theatrical entrance with crawling and poses, and all the competitors just... sort of... walk around her on their way up the ramp. Eventually, Gear Gamma wanders out from the back. Even with his casual pace he catches up to Agatha in no time; he scoops her up, throws her over his shoulder, and carries her back to the locker room. She manages to throw her arms out for one last dramatic pose before she's pulled off screen.

Horrible screams of terror.

It sends shivers up your spine, goosebumps down your arm.

However, when the camera turns on, it's just the newest edition to the PNW tag team scene, the Murder City Saints. RAZE, allows his wild mane to flow free. He places a white rag over a foreign object, wiping it down. On the other hand, Wade Manson holds up a handheld mirror, fixing his won hair and wiping any grime from his face. It's only Wade that speaks, anouncing this as the first time they've spoken to the PNW Faithful directly. He mentions last week, during their debut against the current Tag champions. He admits being overconfident, but now coming to the realization that here in PNW, they'll need to take it up a notch. They let the PNW roster know that first impressions aren't always correct. The Murder City Saints know that Rose can handle Liam herself, and they're most excited to meet #TeamOVERKILL. The MCS know a thing or two about killing...

Static.

The footage switches to elsewhere, quite obviously in another town and another building. Bobby B. Barabbas can be seen, smart as ever in his black upon black suit. He smiles for the camera, before exclaiming that he apologizes that both himself and his client, the unstoppable Ramsay Bodach, can not be present tonight as they are both in Amsterdam for the latest round the the Underground Cult Classic. Bobby himself holds onto the very same velvet bag he’s been carrying at recent shows. He states that both him and his client are keeping their eyes very closely on proceedings tonight, especially considering Ramsay’s wholly expected but truly dominant victory on the last broadcast. Ramsay comes into view at this point, fully suited and booted, his hair tied back and an earpiece in place. Bodach doesn’t utter a word, leaving the talking to Barabbas, who states that even though they are not there, they are always watching, and their reasons will be known soon enough, and their actions will speak for themselves. He pats the bag one last time, before the camera fades elsewhere.

Kyle Overstreet vs. Mistress Vivi

Kyle Overstreet had a bit more luck early on in his singles match than his partner did, scoring several near falls on Vivi. However, Vivi used her harem of men to run distraction and finish her opponent off, setting herself up for a meeting with the woman who she'd already called out, Cali-Kate.

WINNER: MISTRESS VIVI

Almost as if on cue, the scene switches to Cali-Kate broadcasting via satellite from backstage at HYBRID Wrestling. She has a very stern look on her face.

Cali-Kate: Last week, there was some words said by someone who’s really nothing more than a troll. And had it just been for some words, I could overlook them. Because, unless you’re Manny of course, trolls aren’t worth the attention they demand to get. Unfortunately, I wasn’t informed of these words until after the show. And I’ve gone back over them again and again and again.

Kate’s face shifts to a smile.

Cali-Kate: Little Miss Vivienne. You probably think yourself so brave and tough to say the words you said about my family, especially regarding Remedi. But you know, the more I listened to your words, the less angry I got and the more I laughed, which is why I’m choosing to address you because you have a real comedy troll act worthy of getting attention. Take a drink of that mead because you might yet surpass Da Troll Guy himself in being ironically funny.

Cali-Kate bounces a little.

Cali-Kate: But being a geek is more than just using references and quoting movies and books from time to time. Vivienne, it’s a lifestyle and it’s one I am proud to flaunt. You can go on about me being forgotten in time for being overplayed, but the only overplayed act here is yours. The high and mighty bitch who couldn’t even be bothered to actually stand up to say those words to someone’s face.

Cali-Kate folds her arms across her chest.

Cali-Kate: The best part of this is I have plenty of words for you, but I have something far more serious to deal with tonight than a little bitch who can’t even come up to my face and say those things. Besides, unlike you, I do step to people I have an issue with. So take some Jedi wisdom with you: those harem boys better be more useful to you than glorified blow up dolls. Just wait for next week. Game start, bitch.

Cali-Kate holds up a Vulcan salute as the camera fades out.

ROSE & MURDER CITY SAINTS VS. LIAM CALLAGHAN & TEAM OVERKILL [OPW]

Team Overkill's World Tour continued here tonight, and if the team's travels was wearing them down, it didn't show, as Anna Matthews and Jacky Daniels gelled well with the PNW Champion. On the other hand, RAZE and Manson bristled at being bossed, not just by Rose, but by her manager, whenever the #1 Contender wanted to work with them. That said, after awhile, the all-PNW trio got on the same page, and while Rose directed Manson and RAZE to take out Liam and Anna, she hit her finisher on Jacky Rex Daniels and secured a big pinfall!

WINNERS: ROSE & MURDER CITY SAINTS

Tabitha greets the fans by the merchandise stalls set up near the concessions area, smiling and signing a few things before she sees the camera and excuses herself with a promise to be back later. She walks with the camera to the backstage area where it’s a bit quieter and she puts her hands in the pockets of her ring jacket. She says that her match in the Main Event of the last show was exciting, everything she could have hoped for, save of course for Rose coming out with the win. She laughs a bit and shakes her head, but her humor and good mood stays. Tabitha says there’s always the next time, and that Rose was fun for her because of their shared love of powerbombs! That’s the past though, she says, tonight she’s focusing on her new match against Rhiannon, and the fact that it’s a Beat the Clock Qualifier! She knows going in that it’s not going to be a walk in the park, that both of them are going to not only win but win quickly - and that it might come down to the smallest mistake! She nods and then winks at the camera, tells the fans to #ThinkPink and that she’s going to do her best to not disappoint! She grins and then heads back out to concessions for a few moments, to connect more with the fans.

Backstage, we find Nicholas Gray sitting, running a hand through his hair. A hint of amusement even in annoyance, as he says that last week was suppose to be a milestone for him, a return after 7 years out of the ring. It even seemed like he’d make it a triumphant one. But, instead, it became a different milestone. This was the first time in his career that night one with a company he’d gotten attacked. He wasn’t even sure if he was surprised, really. He always knew that coming back, especially right now with what was hanging above him, brought a danger. But he didn’t even know the guy who did it. Didn’t know why him, out of everyone. Whether Gray had bad luck, or he was chosen on purpose, or even if he had done something to him and never noticed. Which, considering all he’d done...yeah, maybe. Still, he didn’t know why Jason Daniels chose him. But he had, and now Gray had to deal with that. He couldn’t let something like that slide, you know? As for what changed about his plans after being attacked by Daniels...

“We continue on. The dream isn’t going to die after one attack. I’m going to make my legacy. And no one’s going to get in the way of that.”

Scarlett vs. Jacob Daniels vs. Ava Tremblay

Scarlett and Ava realized early on that they would need to work together to try and take down Jacob Daniels. Both were extra eager to get him out of the way, knowing that earlier in the week, O.G. Williams had announced that the winner would be advancing to a #1 Contender match for the PNW 15 Title at Warzone: Seattle! Their plan was better on paper than in action, though, as Jacob had power and size on his aide, and seemed well in control...

Until Nicholas Gray appeared at ringside! Even without putting his hands on Daniels, he seemed to distract the man who had attacked him last week. Daniels left the ring, and he and Gray engaged in a fist fight, leaving Scarlett to hit her finisher on Ava and score the win!

WINNER: SCARLETT

Daniels and Gray continued fighting, brawling toward the aisle where officials poured out from the back to try and separate them.

As we return backstage, the first shot is of the end result of the last match. Someone switches the channel, prompting the camera to repel back to reveal its culprit. Gage VL leans against a wall, watching the screen as highlights of Veeka Manns comes through. He seems impressed by her actions, but he then listens to her talk about her accomplishments. He narrows his eyes and stares back at the camera.

Gage VL: I think I found my next target. Her arrogance will prove her downfall, amidst all that talent she has. I wonder if she’ll be able to stop Michael Kelly tonight.

He pauses.

Gage VL: And before anyone can say something, this isn’t a challenge. Jumping the line as some would say. No, this will be me having to prove myself. I guess I will see everyone soon.

Gage starts away from the wall, patting the television challenge as he does.

Gage VL: People aren’t going to like that.

He sighs.

Gage VL: But whatever, this isn’t about that anymore.

Beat The Clock Qualifier
Rhiannon vs. Tabitha Tremont

Faced with a more...mobile opponent than last week, Tabby's powerbomb offense seemed to have more effect. However, despite coming close several times, she couldn't overcome the sneakiness of Rhiannon, who took the win by reversing an irish whip into a small package...with a handful of Tremont's tights.

WINNER: RHIANNON

MAIN EVENT, PNW 15 TITLE
Veeka Manns © vs. Michael Kelly

Early on, Veeka's rulebreaking ways were meant to create separation between her and her opponent, but given MK's own history, he seemed to have an answer for every trick she tried to pull. However, she found ways to slip out of every pinning combination that Kelly tried on her. This match seemed destined to end in a 0-0 tie, until Sue York appeared on the apron! The referee turned his gaze from the action, allowing Christine to come in from the other side and drop Michael with her finisher! She waved Veeka on top of her opponent, and then left as quickly as she had arrived. The fall was counted...

VEEKA 1, MICHAEL 0 14:20

MK, dazed, tried to score a pinfall, but with only 40 seconds, it was no use.

WINNER: VEEKA MANNS (1-0, STILL 15 CHAMPION)

Veeka celebrated another (close, though she'd never admit it) win, while MK focused on Christine and Sue in the aisle, mocking him, and the show went off the air.
