SATURDAY NIGHT WARFARE 16

LIVE FROM THEATER OF THE CLOUDS - PORTLAND, OR
SATURDAY - NOVEMBER 25, 2017

Cut to a morgue. Maybe you haven't been inside of an actual morgue before but you've seen enough movies to recognize one as soon as you see it. The camera pans around for a moment, before finding the Murder City Saints.

Wade Manson: "Can we get out of here soon? I hate the stench of death."

Wade leaned against the wall, seemingly picking dirt from his fingernails, always the cleanly one.

RAZE: "I thought you enjoyed the concept of death..."

Wade Manson: "That doesn't mean I want to smell the rotting corpse afterwards. My technique is far more finesed than yours, sicko."

RAZE chuckled to himself, thinking about it, twiddling a scalpel within his fingers and looking down upon the other tools of a mortician.

RAZE: "So who are these people I'll be scalping?"

Wade Manson: "Mal Raza, Kyle Overstreet, Ethan Jacobs...Random bodies that don't matter in our journey to the PNW Tag Team Championships. We haven't gotten off to the grandest start here, RAZE. We had a chance against the tag champs, a chance against the number one contenders, and we couldn't put either away. Now, we buckle down. This can't happen again, RAZE. First, Warfare 16...next, the tag division gets murdered...one by one."

Without looking back, RAZE nodded, still keeping eye contact with the scalpel in his hands. He pressed the blade into his finger, allowing a small bit of blood to trickle down his hand.

RAZE: "It would be my pleasure."

For the ... fourth week in a series, Agatha Edison and Gear Gamma--also known as the PNW Tag Team Champions, the Gear Society--are backstage. Agatha continues to insist on playing mind games with the Madsens, who are the current number one contenders to the tag belts. While the last three attempts at getting into the Madsens' heads didn't go anywhere, Agatha is absolutely, positively, 100% sure she's got this whole psychology thing figured out, and TONIGHT--

Gear Gamma, the large and usually silent half of the tag team, holds up a hand. He keeps it there, just in front of Agatha's face, maintaining his silence... but staring at her firmly. After a moment or two, Agatha's expression relents and she lets out a long sigh. She admits that Gear Gamma is right (though he never said anything)--mind games, cerebral warfare, that sort of thing is just not her bag. It's not how the Gear Society operates. Agatha voices her frustrations, and her uncertainty that they're going to keep the belts without that added edge. She looks to Gear Gamma, who just... continues to stare at her.

After another few seconds of silence, Agatha affirms more boldly that Gear Gamma is RIGHT (though he never said anything). The Gear Society's gotten this far without any goofy tricks or light shows, or or or make up or creepy music. The Gear Society should just go out there and do what they always do, and that's win. She gives a big nod, patting Gear Gamma on the chest before walking off screen. He responds by just... sort of shaking his head, and then following her.

Mistress Vivi appears backstage, flanked by two of her harem. She flags down Felicity Kingcade, indicating that it’s time for the young woman to interview her. She wants to address what happened in the Gauntlet match last week - namely, the fact that she was eliminated by none other than the woman she is facing in the Beat the Clock Challenge, Cali-Kate. She tells Felicity that despite her protests during the match about the ref counting too fast, it was all a show. She had, in fact, allowed Cali-Kate to get the upper hand in order to lure her into a false sense of security. When Felicity asks her why, Mistress Vivi grins and answers that it’s all part of her plan. First, the pledge - showing the audience something completely ordinary - in this case, Cali-Kate. Second, the turn, or making the ordinary seem extraordinary. That, Mistress Vivi claims, has been done by mere association. This is the most relevant that Cali-Kate has ever been in her entire career, and likely will ever be, as she doesn’t quite have the qualities of a main event star. The completion of the trick will come during their Beat the Clock match, when Mistress Vivi will expose Cali-Kate for what she is - the heart and soul of mediocrity, while she, Mistress Vivi, is #BlackGirlMagic personified. She also tells Felicity to go and let Cali-Kate know that she’s here, and ready to say all of this to her face if the self-proclaimed Geekette isn’t afraid to come out and play. With that, she dismisses Felicity and snaps her fingers, her harem falling in step behind their mistress.

Christine, KONSTANTINE, Alyssa Davies, and Jacob Daniels vs. Michael Kelly, Nicholas Gray, Ava Tremblay, and Adam Webb [ACM]

-Jacob Daniels pinned Ava Tremblay after three powerbombs, between which he called out Nicholas Gray to try and save his partner.
-Christine and Michael Kelly fought to a double count-out, brawling to the backstage area.
-Adam Webb pinned Alyssa Davies after a Superman's Cape.
-KONSTANTINE made Adam Webb submit to a Garrote 47.
-Jacob Daniels pinned Nicholas Gray after he was blindsided by KONSTANTINE, and hit with a Point Blank. He kicked out, and got a foot on the rope after Daniels hit a chokeslam backbreaker, but could not kick out of an additional Stir of Echoes. Despite this effort and show of heart, he was still met with a mixed reaction from fans as he was helped to his feet.

WINNERS: KONSTANTINE and Jacob Daniels

The cameras find Tabitha Tremont backstage as she warms up prior to the eight person tag match she has ahead of her tonight. She finishes up and waves to the camera before she speaks. She says that she’s actually really looking forward to teaming with Veeka Manns, Nico Costello, and El Forestaro, even though she’s never done so before. She says that it’s exciting, and the key to keeping interest in the long run surely is doing things you’ve never done before! She says while she doesn’t do tag team matches often, let alone one this size, she’s sure that things will go well. She’s also looking forward to seeing what being in the ring with the other team, because the best way to learn about people you may face in the future is, sure enough, to get in the ring with them!

She laughs a little and says she knows it’s cliche and all that, but she doesn’t mind. She says again that she just can’t wait, and she’s sure that their match will be the standout of the night. She waves away the camera then before she heads off towards the curtain area to wait for the actual match.

Veeka Manns, Tabitha Tremont, El Forestaro, and Nico Costello vs. Gage VL, Scarlett, Britt Kane, and Tay Kamryn

-Nico Costello pinned Britt Kane after a Nocturno.
-Tay Kamryn pinned Tabitha Tremont with an O'Connor Roll reversal (and a handful of tights).
-Scarlett pinned El Forestaro after a Sky Twister.
-Gage VL pinned Nico Costello after a Last Whisper, followed by a Skies over Arcadia.
-Of note, Veeka Manns did not enter the ring to this point, refusing to tag into face any of her four opponents. At this point, she took her title and decided discretion was the better part of valor, leaving and being counted out to give the three who would fight next week for a future shot at her to have this win.

WINNERS: Gage VL, Scarlett, and Tay Kamryn

The feed cuts to an unidentified room which only contains a single leather couch. There, Rhiannon sits next to her beloved (or so she claims) Ensign, Miss Cooper.

RHIANNON: Ensign Cooper...You know what your duties are tonight. Right, darling?

The Admiral of CWC states as she drapes both of her legs over Miss Cooper’s lap slowly.

RHIANNON: Remember. Nothing. And, baby, I mean NOTHING can go wrong tonight in this main event here in Portland...or else I’ll be finding myself a new Ensign.

Miss Cooper allows herself to release a gasp out of fear of what Rhiannon would do in the event that their plan falls through the cracks.

RHIANNON: Honey, I’m this close to making a name for myself here in the Coalition. I won’t settle for small time matches that involve a little whore like Alyssa Davies ever again. So when I give you the signal we’ll do what we have to do to put Liam on notice

ENSIGN COOPER: Yes ma’am!

Slowly, Rhiannon gets up to her feet. She dusts off the bottom of her upper thigh length sleeveless black dress before placing her Admiral’s hat on her head.

RHIANNON: Then let’s do the damn thing, cupcake.

With that the scene fades to black.

Gear Society and Team Overkill [OPW] vs. Alex Madsen, Sansa Madsen, and Hard Hearted

-Rather than try "mind games" this week, Gear Society simply attacked the Madsens before the bell, and with the four brawling around the ring, the referee disqualified all four competitors from the match!
-Jacky Rex Daniels pinned Robb Hardy after he dove in front of of a Kurri Kurri Tomahawk that was aimed for the back of Ana Hardy's head.
-Ana Hardy pinned Anna Matthews after distracting the referee with the unconscious Robb Hardy, and jabbing a foreign object into Anna's throat to secure a roll-up.
-Jacky Rex Daniels pinned Ana Hardy after a hard fought singles match by knocking the same foreign object out of her hands, hitting the Supernova Victory Punch!, then following THAT with another Kurri Kurri Tomahawk, this time after a short-arm clothesline setup, to get the three and be the sole survivor!

WINNER: Jacky Rex Daniels

As the cameras switch to the backstage area, a towering figure can be seen wearing a Portland Timbers jersey. The behemoth known as Ramsay Bodach stands there, silent as a mouse, bar his heavy breathing, breathing that was fearsome in it’s own way. The monstrous figure was studying the card, long and hard, his eyes scanning the names listed for tonight’s show. He remains deathly silent, even when his mouthpiece, Bobby B. Barabbas appears by his side. The Underground Director and former World Champion is strangely silent as well, scanning the names on the card as well, holding onto the mysterious black velvet bag. Barabbas points at the name of L.A. Brooks, a man that the pair of them are familiar with due to their involvement in PAROUSIA, where Ramsay is the reigning Emperor. The pair nod to each other before Barabbas points to the name of Rhiannon, which brings only a shrug from Bodach. When Barabbas points at Liam’s name, however, only a smile is brought upon Bodach’s face as he looks from that name, to the bag in Barabbas’ hands. The Pied Piper of Portland then smiles, urging Ramsay to walk on as he belts out his infamous battle cry.

“This… Is… Portland!”

MAIN EVENT
Ramsay Bodach, Rhiannon, Ryan Callaghan [REBELLION], and L.A. Brooks [PAROUSIA]
vs. Rose, Jackson Fleck, Mistress Vivi, and Sophia Pike

-L.A. Brooks pinned Jackson Fleck after he and Ramsay (the champion from Brooks' home promotion of PAROUSIA) hit a running big boot that setup a Brooks "The Reminder" lunging lariat. Ramsay, and manager Bobby B. Barabbas (still holding his velvet black bag) gave the youngster a nod of approval after the pin.
-Sophia Pike made Brooks submit to the Space Needle.
-Ramsay was counted out after being distracted trying to fight off Mistress Vivi's harem, a decision he and Barabbas loudly protested.
-Ryan Callaghan was left laying after Rhiannon hit him with The Rhivision. She didn't stick around to say any words to the #1 Contender, her opponent next Saturday, or the Mistress, simply saying to Ryan's motionless form, "Send that one to your brother!" before leaving with her Ensign.
-The remaining trio were stunned, but more so when the delay allowed Callaghan to kick out, and fight on for a few more minutes, until Rose put him down with the Catch Your Breath, resulting in a submission elimination.

WINNERS: Rose, Mistress Vivi, and Sophia Pike

There were two separate celebrations to end the show; Rose and her manager on one side of the ring, the loose association of Vivienne Robichaud and Sophia Pike on the other side, as the show went off the air.
