OPENING CONTEST
SLAUGHTERHOUSE PURE CHAMPIONSHIP

Standard CWC Rules

Devin Hearst vs. Dimmu Borgir

Having used his influence as General Manager, this title match is suddenly opening the show as the Dark Lord attempts to take Devin Hearst out of his comfort zone. Hearst is a Dog of War, he’s always ready to fight and he doesn’t back down now. Scoop slam by Dimmu Borgir. Early knockdowns by Borgir, the seven-foot monster putting that size to good use. Hard back elbows see Hearst yo-yo-ing before he rallies back with a high knee to take Borgir off his feet. Hearst sends Borgir into a turnbuckle, goes to work with boots before irish whipping him to the far side and connecting with a Yakuza Kick.

Hearst looks for Desperado but Borgir blocks it, he takes a clothesline instead to send him over the top rope to the floor. After several moments of distance between the two, Borgir narrows it and rallies back for Main Event Napalm, a Sambo Suplex. He covers for two. Hearst retaliates with a Wrist-Clutch Exploder Suplex, he makes a pinfall attempt and earns two. Hearst takes Borgir down with a chopblock and looks for a Sharpshooter but Borgir kicks him off.

Just as Hearst signals that he’s ready to put Borgir away for good, Daniel Keegan hits ringside. Keegan detains the referee as Kevin Hunter slides in unseen. He’s up and in the ring, he delivers Doomsday to Devin Hearst! He drags Borgir so his arm is over Hearst and the referee turns around to see the cover. He counts to three and we have a new Slaughterhouse Pure Champion! The Dark Lord has stolen the title from Hearst!
