BEST TWO OUT OF THREE FALLS MATCH - WHOEVER WINS ADVANCES TO MAIN EVENT Ricky Sykes vs. Issak Otto
0:01: Otto stuck out his hand for Ricky to shake, to the crowd’s amusement and worry. Ricky looked down at it with contempt, remarking his usual stance on being an absolute pecker. To everyone’s shock, he took Issak’s hand into his own and gave it a firm shake. Not even a moment later, he did shove Issak back, putting his arms out in a confrontational matter. Otto rubbed his chin, then stroked his mustache to counteract the aggressive show. The Discord Champion cracked his neck and the two locked up. Sykes hammered out into a headlock, but Otto fell back into the ropes, breaking the hold. Otto then shoved Sykes away, following through with a rear-waist clutch. Otto tried to hurl Sykes to the ground, as his opponent began to rustle out of the hold. Yet, it wasn’t enough for Otto to take him down to the ground; he gave him a brisk kick to the ribs.
5:00: Sykes took control of the match, meeting Otto’s technical prowess with his own and a bit of roughhousing. Otto weathered the storm, knowing that any match with Sykes would become a brawl in some instance. So, he took advantage with a takedown after a boxing punch cut the air. The Fujiwara did some damage, but Sykes struggled out and hit an elbow into Otto’s face. It barely missed his nose, but it was enough to make him back off. Sykes, not measuring this correctly went for a Right Knockout Blow, but he got rolled up!
Winner of the First Fall: Issak Otto
10:00: The two had reached an equal point, where Sykes’ brawling became less effective and Otto’s technical wrestling started to dwindle from the blows he had received at this point. Otto reversed a Sykotrope (guillotine choke) into a Nothern Lights Suplex. He transitioned backward, mesmerizing the audience as he then secured a cross armbar. Sykes fumbled around, trying to find a way out, but Otto was like a constrictor on his arm, wrenching the hold as hard as he could. Sykes lifted Otto off the mat in a last-ditch effort, and sprinted for the turnbuckle, hitting a Buckle Bomb. Haphazardly, he had to capitalize. Sykosis (Ripcord Elbow Smash) came and knocked Otto down to the mat. Sykes went for the cover, sure that it was the end.
ONE!
TWO!
The near fall that followed shocked everyone, including Sykes!
Sykes picked up Otto again and drove his elbow into him again with another Sykosis, but opted for the repeat, hitting a third one that got him the three count.
Winner of the Second Fall: Ricky Sykes
14:28: Otto had since regained some of his footing. Sykes struggled to put him away, battering him with headbutts and punches that would drop anyone, except for Otto at this point. Otto threw his blows in bunches, until Sykes staggered back. Otto gritted his teeth and connected with a heel kick, but Sykes rallied back immediately with a hard open slap. Otto smacked Sykes back, which surprised the crowd and Sykes himself. Sykes threw out a hasty blow, but Otto ducked underneath it. Sykes turned around into another bundle of blows. This happened two more times before Otto tried for the Around-The-World Fisherman Suplex. Sykes drove his fist into Otto’s ribs to make sure he could escape. Otto let go of him, but took a hold of Sykes’ arm. Winding back, a key Class Axe came roaring out.
But this is where Sykes shined.
A headbutt met Otto’s nose, forcing the break.
Sykes, the opportunist, the vile man he was, drove his elbow into Otto’s face with another Sykosis.
Otto didn’t fall like Sykes wanted. Instead, he stood defiant, clearly rocked, but through some sheer force of will, he didn’t go.
In response, Sykes had to use the Sykodriver (Pumphandle Piledriver)!
The three count came shortly after. Sykes was headed onto the main event!
Winner: Ricky Sykes (14:28 via pinfall; 2-1)

SINGLES Anna-Mae Griffith vs. The Invisible Man
0:01: The match started off with a low-blow that came from out of nowhere. The Invisible Man was waiting for AMG to make her way down, but the dastardly lady made her way from under the ring and dropped him. After which, she begged for the ring bell to start, and when it did, she was like a shark in the water. The Invisible Man was, unfortunately, a bleeding seal.
5:00: AMG kept control by incorporating many weaponry in the match. From a hair spray can to a kendo stick, they were all essential to keeping the Invisible Man down. Each burst of offense that came was stopped short by Anna-Mae Griffith, who clung to her advantage with an evil smile. She hit her signature front dropkick, sending The Invisible Man into a steel chair she set up. When he crumbled to the mat, she took the slightly bent chair and went to town, yelling about how he’ll die with JCP!
8:44: AMG held her chair in her hand with a sick stare on the Invisible Man, who was bleeding all over the mat at this point. The man tried to make it to his feet, where AMG waited to execute him. She rose the chair and brought it down across his back, making him contort around it with gritted teeth. AMG smashed it across his back again, but each time, the Invisible Man began to make it to his feet. His back was red from the impact, but he got to his feet with a roar. The last strike brought him into the ropes. The life that had flared up dissipated, leading to AMG merely smirking. She dropped the chair and began to saunter over to the Invisible Man.
She held his face in her hands, giving him a hard slap across the face. She kept at this, mostly to deride him than anything. Her evil laughter had been well-rehearsed and it stretched out all over the arena.
Until the Invisible Man hit the Judgment DDT (Glorious DDT)!
With AMG down, the Invisible Man hit another one on the mangled chair that AMG abused him with.
The cover came and the Invisible Man got his redemption!
Winner: The Invisible Man (8:44 by pinfall)

STRiFE: The first and only JCP Impulse Champion…
The woman known as STRiFE sat on the apron of a run down looking wrestling ring. The Impulse Championship sat there as well. The camera got a beautiful shot of the faceplate as some pale light hit.
STRiFE: Has a certain charm to it, doesn’t it?
Cut back to her body and face. She appeared poised.
STRiFE: That’s the goal of the evening. Walk into the ring. Bust Brett Carson’s ass. Walk out of the ring as the first and only JCP Impulse Champion.
Three second pause.
STRiFE: I know, I know. You’ll probably going to take great exception to that plan, yeah Brett? You’ve been in JCP since day one, since the first event was announced. And by now? I bet you feel like you’ve never really gotten your due. I bet you feel like winning the Impulse Championship during JCP’s last event would make everything worth it. A last hurrah and all that jazz.
A wicked smile. It crept along her face and beamed widely.
STRiFE: No, fuck that. I’m not interested in helping you fulfill your Walt Disney story.
A shake of the head was able to compose her.
STRiFE: People in this company have seen me as an outsider ever since I joined up. I’m different. I never came to JCP to make a gaggle of friends or be liked. I don’t shake hands or kiss babies. I don’t post a bunch sexy Twitter pictures and I don’t have bitches dangling from my clit. I’m different, because when I walk into the Ellis Park Arena the only thing on my mind is how I is how I can be the ever-loving fuck out of whoever I’ve got to face that night. That’s why I knocked FABLE out in my debut match. That’s why I’ve left bitches dazed on the mat night after night. My differences? They’ve propelled me to the top of this company. They’ve propelled me to the JCP Impulse Championship.
She grunted.
STRiFE: And they are going to help me in this match against you.
STRiFE looked directly at the camera. A mild scowl formed on her face.
STRiFE: You’re going to get your shit wrecked, Brett. That’s not threat. That’s not an intimidation tactic. It’s just a promise.
Her left hand took ahold of the championship’s strap and held it up in the air.
STRiFE: And this? This championship?
She turned her head and gazed at the faceplate for maybe five seconds. Her gaze rested with the camera afterwards.
STRiFE: It goes home with me—another promise.
She laid the championship belt across her lap. Fade to black.

We went backstage, to where Elena Musgrave was standing by waiting. Elena greeted everyone watching, saying she had a special guest now. That special guest stepped into frame, as the JCP Champion Evelyn Kuller came to stand beside Elena. She greeted Elena warmly, thanking her for her time. Elena waved that off, it was Evelyn that was giving her time to speak to her. The first thing she wanted to ask Evelyn was the obvious thing, the end of JCP and how she felt about it. Evelyn admitted it was a surprise when she was informed of it, pretty out of left field to her eyes, but these things happen. She was sad, she could admit that easily, but she did not want to focus on that. Instead she wanted to focus on the positives that came from JCP. It was the first place that she really succeeded as herself, on her own. She came in alone and succeeded...well, succeeded more than she could have ever believed! And she made friends! She had met some really good people in JCP, like Issak and Elena and Grace, people she was very thankful for the chance to interact with. And JCP let her perform regularly on an international stage, in a huge conjoined thing like the CWC, and she flourished. It had truly been a transformative time for her career.
She had a bunch of things to thank JCP for, and she’d always have a fond place for it in her heart and memories. Elena nodded, and said she was glad JCP had allowed all that for Evelyn and others. She’d miss it too. But, there was still a match for Evelyn tonight, as she was competing in the main event, the final JCP match. With the JCP Championship on the line, she’d defend against Ramesses and as we found out a bit earlier, Ricky Sykes. At first Evelyn focused on the significance of the match in front of her. This was the final goodbye to JCP, and it was down to the three of them to represent the company best as the curtain closed. Considering Ramesses and Ricky’s, uh...yknow....unique personalities, this was perhaps a tall order. But that was cool! She didn’t mind. Regardless of who it was, she was going to go out there and do her best! Elena asked if she was worried, stepping into the ring with two fairly unpleasant people. Did she feel there was a bigger target on her back? Evelyn admitted that was probably the case. They were both kinda egotistical people, lots to prove and all, so she imagined both would really enjoy the idea of pinning the champion instead of each other. It was going to be quite a challenge for her!
Good!
That was the best way for JCP to end, for her at least. Since JCP started, she had been set in front of a bunch of challenges, and she had faced each one with hope in her heart, and she had overcome them. That was what JCP represented to her. Facing every challenge with her head held up high, and hope lighting her heart, and overcoming them! Tonight she was facing a huge and powerful guy like Ramesses that thought he was the God ascending to His throne, and she was facing a tough striker like Ricky who can’t stand the sight of her. This was the biggest challenge for her, but she felt no fear! Tonight she’d say goodbye to JCP, and honor what it had done for her and meant to her, by going out there with her head held high and hope lighting her heart, and she was going to do her best to overcome this final challenge!
Elena nodded a few times, a smile coming to her face from Evelyn’s infectious mood. She had one final question for Evelyn before she went. Others had spoken about their post-JCP plans, but so far silence from her. What was she going to be doing? Evelyn grinned, and replied by playfully chastising Elena for trying to get spoilers. She said that there was a plan, she was very excited about it and the reunion, and some things waiting beyond that too. But tonight was about JCP. All of that, she’d talk about that after. Tonight was on saying goodbye to JCP.
She faced the camera with a big wide smile on her face, unhooking the JCP Championship from her waist to hold it up to the camera. She thanked everyone, from the other wrestlers that put on great matches every show to the people in the office that gave her and others the opportunity and especially the fans that had supported the company, and accepted her. The time she’d had in JCP had been career-changing. A joyous memory she’d have forever. She thanked them all for that. Tonight, she’d send off JCP by Lighting Up The Night once again, for all of them!
She then gave a bow to the camera, and a quick hug to Elena, before she stepped away, ready for the final match in JCP.

Savanah Mirage, who originally believed herself to be off the card, stood in the ring alone. The prospect of an open challenge lingered in the air. As she stood there, her eyes narrowed as the music of Anna Tuck, an OWF star, came on. The young woman made her way out with a confident air, entering the ring to stand against Mirage. She harped that she deserves every opportunity that Mirage is receiving, even though she’s just some girl from Johannesburg, who failed at every turn.

SINGLES Anna Tuck vs. Savanah Mirage
0:01: Anna Tuck took advantage at first, lowering Mirage to the mat with an arm drag, but Mirage briskly got to her feet with a kip-up. The takeover that followed put Tuck on her bum, and Mirage looked as if she was going to follow up with a kick to the back, but she stopped. She patted Tuck on the shoulder. When Tuck tried to get up, in a rage, Mirage struck her with a knee that dropped her to the mat.
4:00: After that knee, Tuck was seemingly out of it, stumbling around. When Mirage came charging in for the kill, Tuck took her down with a big boot. Tuck, who now realized she had control, taunted the JCP faithful, telling them how she’s bigger than the dying company. Yet, their boos shrouded the fact that Mirage was back up. Tuck turned around into a gut kick that came with the Piledriver Waltz. Springing out of the drop, Tuck didn’t know where she was, which led to a Desert Mirage (Tiger Bomb).
The referee didn’t even have to count a pinfall. Tuck was out!
Winner: Savanah Mirage (4:00 by knockout)

If it wasn’t for the tapered shape that gave it away as a private jet, you would say that Grace van Beek was chilling in the suite of five stars hotel, or some luxury loft. Sitting on a ten seater white leather couch, the Diamond Princess was sipping some red wine while watching again, despite having witnessed it in person, the main event of the second night of Empire Pro Aftershock.. She paused the clip while Misha LeCavalier and Molly Reid were battling on the ladder.
Grace van Beek: This is my biggest aspiration, being able to perform at the same level as women like Misha LeCavalier, or Molly Reid. And being able to do it in my hometown, in front of my people seemed too good to be true. When Ms Valentine opened up Johannesburg City Pro, three months ago, I took it as a sign, the opportunity to make my dream come true. It wasn’t easy to convince my family, they firmly believe wrestling is a barbaric and trivial pastime for the commonalty, certainly not something befitting someone of my class and prestige… She politely covered her mouth with her hand, covering her chuckle.
Grace van Beek:It is hard to disagree, if you look at some of my coworkers. But that didn’t change the fact this is what I wanted… And Grace van Beek always gets what she wants.
Glancing at her left, she grabbed the Mercury Championship and rested it on her lap.
Grace van Beek: And now this dream is over. JCP is closing its doors, thwarting my reverie to main event a supershow in front of my people. Granted, my career is far from over.
As everyone should know by now, I signed a deal with Pride Pro, where I had my successful, of course, debut this past Wednesday. Four days from tonight, I will make my pay-per-view debut, most likely with yet another win.
But before that, here I am tonight, back in South Africa, back in JCP, back home.
For one last time.
It is true what they say, there is no place like home.
I will be forever be grateful to the Valentine family and to Johannesburg City Pro. Without them, Grace van Beek the wrestler would not even exist. They gave me an opportunity, and I made the best out of it, becoming the first Mercury Champion of the company.
She ran her hand over the centerpiece of the title, lingering over the plate with her name carved in.
Grace van Beek: I take this very seriously. Being a champion is a great honor and an even bigger responsibility. One I am not ready to give up. JCP might be closing, but I am and will always be their Mercury Champion. My name will forever be written in the records as the first and last person to hold this title, my match at First Impact against Savanah Mirage and tonight’s match against mister Lyndon will forever be casted in amber and treasured in the hearts and minds of the fans as the apogee of Johannesburg City Pro..
Cracking her usual confident smile, she patted the title
Grace van Beek: For some reason, mister Lyndon, tonight you will get the opportunity you were craving for. You get to step in the ring with me, you have the chance you have been waiting for to burst my bubble.
I remember your little speech two weeks ago, I remember how you called me out, how you pointed out I am, and i quote, the “embodiment of everything that’s wrong with this world”, how I would be just like everybody else, just another cog in the machine.
Lowering her head, she moved her hair behind her ear.
Grace van Beek: I am the machine…
She said in a whisper.
Grace van Beek: I don’t chase fame, fortune, money, gold… I already have all them,
Grace van Beek IS fame, fortune, money and, obviously, gold. These things may be a weakness for those who chase them but for me? These are my strength.
This is who I am Lyndon…
The camera pan all around. Grace is literally surrounded by luxury,.
Grace van Beek: And I am perfectly aware that this is exactly where I belong. I’m not some insecure little girl on her teenage twilight, I’m not a confused young woman who gets impressed by your looking and your sermons.
I met so many people like you, people who think that chaos is the answer, people who see me and my family as the Devil for what we have, for who we are.
I’m used to people like you, whatever you say, I heard it all, and it never worked.
I belong here, at the top of JCP. I didn’t get here because of my name… I ruled the Decimation Trial, I represented my brand at the Breakout Tournament, I fought and won my fair share of battles to get this.
And you are not going to take it away from me.
Leaning forward, she took her glass and raised it.
Grace van Beek: All good things must come to an end. But the memories, the memories will remain forever.
And to those, I toast.
Good luck to all my fellow wrestler, may your career be successful wherever you decide to move.
Sincerely, your first, and last, Mercury Champion, Grace van Beek.
She brought the glass to her lips, now curled in a smile.

SINGLES Garith Black vs. Will Neilson
0:01: Garith Black and Will Neilson locked up in the center of the ring. The will of Black had been shown throughout JCP with all his trials and tribulations (no pun intended). Neilson, a man who had all the tools to make a name for himself, had already signed to a new company in WCCW. Neilson took Black down to the mat and pressed his knees on his back, posing to show a clear dominance over the man. Black swept his knees out, leading to an untimely fall and a standing shooting star press.
4:09: Black seemed to have a head of steam. He hit Neilson with a running dropkick in the corner and tried to go to the well again. However, he caught a mean lariat from Neilson that turned him inside out. The match was an even distribution between both parties, but Neilson proved too much for Black. The match ended with a LAG SPIKE that ended the night with a win for him.
Winner: Will Neilson (4:09 by pinfall)

We cut backstage, to the locker room of the Discord Champion, Ricky Sykes, who’s fresh off the two out of three falls victory over Issak Otto. He’s sat back against the far wall as the camera comes in, a towel around his neck--and while he might have wanted to look a little bit more “devil may care,” the second he spots the camera, he can’t stop himself from curling his satisfied smile into a smirk.
He pushes himself up to his feet after a moment or two, staring intently at the camera--and, notably, not holding the Discord Championship. In any way. Rather than display it, the title, itself, is more or less discarded in the center of the room, and while Ricky’s not exactly fresh as a daisy at this point, he’s more than happy to make a point--by planting a foot on the center plate of the Discord Title belt.
Ricky Sykes: One down...
He lifts one finger (yes, the one you think), chuckling to himself a little bit.
Ricky Sykes: One to go...
And there’s the other one, holding each middle finger up on either side of his face.
Ricky Sykes: And I leave this company...what I should’ve been in the first place.
Ricky Sykes: JCP Champion.
He drags his foot outward, practically kicking the Discord Championship away before settling himself back down to where he was sitting, rolling his neck out as the scene fades to black.

JCP UNITY CHAMPIONSHIP TAG TEAM MATCH XXXLovin’ vs. The Lipstick Mafia ©
0:01: The Lipstick Mafia have held onto the JCP Unity Championship with a deathgrip since coming into the company. Through trickery, and cheating, and help, they kept the belts in their hands. But tonight they were in the ring with two men that were their literal opposites. XXXLovin’. After all their misdeeds, the Mafia now had to face these UNITS. And they hated it. The bell rang to begin the contest, and the Mafia just looked pissed to even be in this situation. Indeed they were so unhappy, that they just...left. They both slid out of the ring, shaking their heads at the cries of Whopper and Mac to return and engage in the honorable combat, and turned to make their way up to the ramp and stopped. At the entranceway were many men and women, all dressed in skins like XXXLovin’. Members of Mac and Whopper’s families, who had come to see the two in their championship match! They were all eating massive hunks of meat, conversing amongst themselves and cheering for XXXLovin’, and completely blocking the way out for Jessie and Ashlyn. The two looked at each other, completely confounded how they even /got there/ in the time they weren’t looking. With a groan, the two return to the ring, where Ashlyn begrudgingly and despite Jessie’s desire decides to start them off, and is faced with the gyrations of Lil Mac. The expression on her face will be passed down from generation to generation.
5:00: With the match finally starting, Ashlyn embarked on a very solid plan to deal with the fact that Lil Mac dwarfs her by about 500ish pounds. She used her speed, running literal circles around Lil Mac, who had to expend energy just trying to get any kind of move in on her, but he was slow and Ashlyn was not, and she managed to avoid his attempts at getting a hand on her, and Mac started to seem like he needed to take a seat. Which he did, just falling right onto his butt in the middle of the ring...with his big legs sticking out...and Ashlyn didn’t have the time to stop herself, and ended up tripping over one of his trunkesque legs, landing right on her face. Mac had the good idea to just kinda throw himself forward to fall onto her, which fortunately for Ashlyn she saw coming and rolled out of the way, and tagged in Jessie.
Mac was on his gut and having trouble getting to his feet, and with the more submission-minded member of the Lipstick Mafia legal, she was ready to take advantage. Taking hold of one of Mac’s legs, she tried to lift it to stretch him out, only to encounter difficulty as his leg on it’s own weighs...a bit, to say the least. Still, with some exertion Jessie managed to get it up, stretching it back as far as she could and causing Mac quite a bit of pain, while Whopper watched on sadly and Whitecastle on the outside proclaiming that the great Mac would find a way, playa. That way, as it turned out, was to throw his hand back, catching Jessie’s ankle with a chop that brought the woman right down! While Jessie got her bearings back, Mac managed to roll his mass, like a thicc wheel jiggling down a hill, until he reached his corner, and tagged in Lil Whopper, who was ready for many things: meat, women, and the Unity Championships.
10:00: Whopper came in like a slow ball of fire, advancing towards Jessie at a steady pace. And Jessie did a sensible thing, and rolled out of the ring. Safe on the outside, she and Ashlyn had a brief conference while the referee started to count, with them both nodding to one another. And they both took off at a run, running around the ring and sliding inside, both of them rushing the confused Whopper and throwing out basement dropkicks, hitting both his legs and rolling out of the way as he smashed to the mat! But despite the smiles on their faces they faded fast as Jessie’s ankle was grabbed by the prone Whopper! Ashlyn ran over and desperately tried to stomp on Whopper’s arm but her tiny feet did little to hurt his thickly protected arm. He yanked Jessie’s leg out and she fell over onto Ashlyn, knocking both the Mafia down into a sprawl on the mat! Mac entered the ring to help Whopper to his feet, and the huge man was ready. He grabbed Ashlyn and tossed her away, the tiny woman rolling out of the ring, leaving Jessie with him. Jessie was brought to her feet, and had to experience a unique hell: the feeling of Whopper’s whopping hand chopping her chest, sending her right back down. Jessie grabbed hold of the rope, and refused to let go as Whopper grabbed her feet and tried to drag her out, and Jessie drove her boot right into the nose of Whopper, sending the ruler back. Jessie dipped back, tagging in Ashlyn, who leapt up onto the ropes and off, hitting Whopper in the face with a springboard dropkick that sent him stumbling back, falling into the corner. Jessie was tagged back in and she ran at Whopper, hitting him with the Mighty Taco, which seemed to disorient Whopper quite a bit, though it actually drew applause and cheers from Mac and Whitecastle for...some reason.
13:03: However, Whitecastle could see that his liege was in trouble, and so stepped up onto the apron, trying to distract Jessie so he could recover. And Jessie, not having any of it, charged, hitting Whitecastle and sending him flying off the apron, hitting the guardrail, where a dark liquid sprayed out from his coat! The crowd in front of this screamed, thinking some terrible accident had happened...only to realize it was just a Dr. Pepper that Whitecastle had in his coat, thankfully and bizarrely. Still, he was laid out, and suddenly Mac and Whopper both had death gazes at Jessie. Jessie made the wise choice to abandon the ring, taking off at a run around the ring as Mac dropped down to try and follow her. Whopper was ready to follow, but was distracted by Ashlyn, who in trying to keep Jessie from being pursued by both started to shout some rather rude things about the man’s weight to him. Whopper was clearly offended, and went right for her, which Ashlyn tried to dodge, only to be grabbed by Whopper and lifted up, hit with a sitout powerbomb that looked like it cracked her. Jessie saw this as she was trying to evade the Big Mac, and saw a horrifying sight. Lil Whopper, all 600ish pounds of him, was hitting the ropes. The crowd suddenly held in their breath, realizing that Whopper was going to splash the 112lb Ashlyn. Jessie panicked, and immediately rolled into the ring, rushing in without a thought and sliding in, shoving Ashlyn out of the way to safety...and herself into the danger zone. It was like an eclipse falling across Jessie’s body, the huge shadow of the Lil Whopper. And then she just vanished, completely unseeable under his bulk as he fell onto the woman who just wanted to save her girlfriend. The referee dropped down, Whopper and Jessie being the legal ones, and counted the 3!

JCP IMPULSE CHAMPIONSHIP SINGLES MATCH Brett Carson vs. STRiFE ©
0:00: Brett Carson picked up where he left off at JCP VII, coming out and immediately overpowering STRiFE, bowling the Impulse Champion over with a shoulder tackle that sent her tumbling back to the corner. He didn’t let up, either, despite a warning from the official, and came roaring in with a lariat that levelled the much smaller woman. He pulled STRiFE to her feet and, while she fought back with kicks the legs and a few forearm strikes, Carson largely laughed the strikes off and, eventually, caught one of STRiFE’s kicks, lifting her up and dropping her into a backbreaker. He casually laid across her for a cover, but only got a two.
Carson’s early dominance did wonders for the Canadian’s already impressive confidence, and while he kept up the offense, it was peppered with disrespect--for every suplex he hit on the Impulse Champion, he’d match it with a slap to the face, which only seemed to anger the Korean champion. She struck back with an elbow to the jaw that made Carson yell about his “perfect teeth,” and backhand slapped STRiFE to knock her back down. He capped the disrespect off by deadlifting STRiFE off the mat in a gutwrench, into a sitout powerbomb, again covering the reigning champion, but only for a two again.
5:00: Carson’s arrogance got to an event horizon at this point--not only was he screaming into the audience that they were “looking at perfection,” and that he was moments from becoming the Impulse Champion, but he was so confident in himself that he was “beating STRiFE at her own game” that he failed to notice the Impulse Champion recovering. The fans even started cheering the Korean’s gradual revival, which Carson took as praise for himself, and started telling the fans all about what a treat he must be to watch.
Right up until STRiFE kicked him in the temple. And kept kicking him in the temple. Repeatedly. Over and over and over. Carson tried to fight back, throwing a couple forearms at STRiFE which, while momentarily stopping the Impulse Champion’s assault, only gave the Korean a handle with which to control him, as she caught his arm at full stretch and wrenched his wrist backwards. And then headbutted him square in the nose, in a move that saw Carson immediately start leaking blood.
Carson saw red as he started bleeding, and, when he was able to get back up, immediately threw a discus lariat, looking to take STRiFE’s head off--but the Korean easily dodged it, and dropkicked Carson’s knees out from under him. She continued the assault on Carson’s head and neck, with all manner of kicks, elbows, and forearms targetting the jaw of her challenger, but rather than go for a pin, she seemed to be aiming for a knockout win that never exactly came.
10:00: What did come, though, were openings--once Carson was protecting his head, STRiFE ran the ropes and soccer kicked him right in the ribs, driving all the air out of the challenger. She spun around Carson and wrapped her arms around his neck in a rear naked choke, but her taller challenger could reach the ropes with his foot--not that STRiFE seemed too worried, holding the choke until just before she was disqualified.
12:27: Carson tried to come back, and even knocked STRiFE down with a Level One (discus lariat)--but his follow up attempt at the Sunset Massacre (tiger suplex) saw STRiFE float out of it. She headbutted the back of Carson’s skull to stun him, before wrapping up his wrist and hitting My Dire Prophecy (Ripcord Spinning Backfist) to the very same spot. Carson crumbled to the mat, but STRiFE wasn’t happy at that point--again, she locked in a rear naked choke, and the referee eventually called for the bell when Carson wasn’t responding.
Winner and STILL JCP Impulse Champion: STRiFE (12:27 by pinfall)

JCP MERCURY CHAMPIONSHIP SINGLES MATCH Alexander Lyndon vs. Grace van Beek ©
00:01 This match was certainly a clash of styles. The Mercury Champion intended to be very methodical with her attack and approach, but all of that broke down when Alexander clubbed her with a stiff forearm. He blasted her with a lariat after whipping her into the corner. A series of stomps sent her down to the mat and forced her to cover up. Most men would have went for the pinfall right there, but Alexander chose not. Perhaps his arrogance (or confidence) got the better of him. Instead, he elected to walk to the center of the ring and motion for Grace to get back up to her feet. And get back up she did. She immediately darted towards Alexander, who attempted to level her with another lariat. Thank the stars that Grace was able to roll underneath it and keep her dome intact. She then spun and cracked Alexander with a swift chop block to his left leg. The big man went down to a knee. A kick swept him off of his knee and sent him to the mat. A smirk ran across her face before she went to work.
03:13 Grace made it her mission to try and tear that leg apart. She began with a series of well-placed stomps, followed by a knee drop. A few moments later she was able to work her way into a deep single-leg Boston crab. Alexander’s length was what saved him; he was able to reach out and touch the ropes after some finagling. When Grace refused to break the hold, he rolled onto his back and booted her in the face. He landed a clean back-elbow after using the ropes to make it back to his feet. Three stern European uppercuts sent Grace reeling. It wasn’t long before Grace was sent down to the mat with a snap suplex. But given Alexander’s worked-over leg? Probably not the best idea. He clutched at a bit before he grit his teeth and went for the pin. Grace kicked out. The challenger took the time to slap and massage his leg to get his blood pumping again.
06:47 The Mercury Champion spent the next few minutes getting tossed around. A release German suplex nearly sent her the length of the ring. A fallaway slam sent her to the mat once more. Alexander went for the pin, but Grace kicked out. A quick transition saw Grace put into a Fujiwara armbar. Grace certainly thought about submitting, but she endured the pain until she was able to drag herself to the ropes. Alexander was slow to release the hold. One. Two. Three. Four. He finally let go. Grace pulled a smooth move by rolling onto the ring apron. Alexander slowly made it to a vertical base and tried to lift Grace up. A neckbreaker across the top rope left the big man disorientated. He tried to respond with a left boot to as Grace entered into the ring, but she caught his leg. She dropped him with a dragon-screw whip and instantly put on a leg lock. Alexander thrashed about in pain until he was able to reach the ropes and break the hold. Grace made good use of her five count.
11:04 Johannesburg’s fans lost their shit when Grace was able to plant the big man on his back with a half-hatch suplex. She quickly floated over and went for the pin—two count. Grace attempted to stand up, but Alexander grabbed her and rolled her up. Grace kicked out at 2.9! His win-stealing ways weren’t humorous to Grace; she let him know that by stomping down hard on his left leg. She went to go for another, but the challenger moved out of the way. The big man contorted his body and delivered thunderous punch to her grill. Grace stumbled into the corner and collapsed on the floor. Gingerly, Alexander made it back to his. He gave Grace a boot to the face before he took ahold her arm and yanked her into the air. The challenger grabbed ahold of her and clobbered her with a sitout spinebuster. He attempted a pin, but Grace kicked out just in time! Even hurt, Alexander maintained control of the match for three to four minutes. He looked to end it all with Brainwashed (package piledriver). But Grace was able to rip her right arm away before he could hook it. She stomped down hard on his left foot before she lunged towards Alexander’s left leg and rolled through with Gold Bar (kneebar). The challenger knew the danger he was in as he dragged himself to the ropes. But Grace stood up and yanked him away! She grapevined her legs together as she dropped back down. With nowhere to go, Alexander tapped out on the mat.

JCP CHAMPIONSHIP TRIPLE THREAT MATCH Ricky Sykes vs. Ramesses vs. Evelyn Kuller ©
0:01: The match bell started out with both men attacking Evelyn in her corner. She tried her best to fend them off, but she soon succumbed to the strength and numbers. Soon, Sykes hurled Evelyn out of the ring, but the action preceded him being jumped by Ramesses. Of course there wouldn’t be any alliances in the match. Sykes fired back with a blow to the gut, but it did little to stop the Egyptian blowhard. Soon enough, Ramesses took full control. He stopped a charging Sykes with a heavy lariat. When Sykes tried to fight dirty, Ramesses was already a step ahead of him, stopping him with an eye rake and a thunderous spinebuster shortly after. The crowd began to bolster support even for the disreputable boxer--but Ramesses told them soundly to shut their insignificant mouths. Sykes responded to his cry, and moreover, distraction with a low blow.
Sykes hit Ramesses with a headbutt to the back of the head, before dropping Ramesses to the mat. He began to batter the man with elbows to the head, in a frenzy that ripped from deep within Sykes. He brought Ramesses up and fired off a vicious Sykosis (Ripcord Elbow Smash) that knocked Ramesses down. Ricky fell into the cover, checking to see if Evelyn was getting up. He had some time.
5:00: But then before the last hand could fall, Ramesses’s entourage attacked. They jumped all over Ricky, battering him in similar fashion that he did their leader. As they continued to do so, Ramesses struggled to get to his feet. He faintly motioned for his goons to pick Sykes up. As he looked primed to nail Sykes with an assisted Pyramid Driver, Evelyn Kuller crashed into two of the three goons with a dive bomb. Sykes managed to overpower the last one and knocked him out with a clean right hook. Ramesses tried to follow up, but he got a dropkick from Evelyn, sending him to the mat. The two cleaned house, eliminating any future potential of later attacks. Ramesses was out of the ring, trying to recover.
Sykes and Evelyn locked up, but once again, Evelyn found herself in a detrimental situation. Sykes was stronger and he was already angry. He continued to push his advantage, trying to stomp on Kuller’s feet. Evelyn caught one of the stomp attempts, ducked a headbutt, and pulled Sykes into an inside cradle. She only got a two count. When she got to her feet, she got him with a chest kick that staggered the challenger. Sykes bounced off the ropes, coming back with a clothesline attempt—Evelyn ducked under it and turned around to pepper Sykes with a few blows before trying to take him down with a Dragon Screw.
Ramesses made his presence known again, dragging Evelyn out of the ring. Unfortunately for Ricky, the sudden move caused a wishbone of his groin. The crowd reeled, but Ramesses saw his chance. He grabbed onto Evelyn and threw her into the steel barricade. He then threw her over the barricade, separating her from the match entirely. He re-entered, waiting for the hurting Sykes to get to his feet.
He spun and floored Sykes with Khopesh (Discus Lariat)! He went for the cover but got a two count. When he got up to try to argue with the referee, Sykes rolled out of the ring. Ramesses got more aggressive with the official, but he got charged by Evelyn, who brought him into the turnbuckle with a shotgun dropkick. Luckily, the official moved out of the way.
10:00: Evelyn worked Ramesses over with a few armbreakers to start with. She further dismantled his strength advantage by hitting a few chop blocks when Ramesses tried to gain momentum. Ramesses showed some grit, managing to catch Evelyn with a shinbreaker. As she hobbled around, Ramesses kicked the back of her good leg out, flooring her properly. With a smirk, he exited the ring to retrieve a steel chair. When he tried to enter, Evelyn got up, hitting a kick to the gut. She limped around for a moment, but she got a start on the ropes. She saw Ricky getting up, and hit a baseball slide to him. Smoothly, she spun around on the ring apron. When she came back to hit Ramesses, she didn’t realize she gave him too much time. A chair shot went low, catching the leg Ramesses hit the shinbreaker on. The Living Pharaoah dropped the chair and picked up Evelyn.
PYRAMID DRIVER ONTO THE CHAIR!
When he tried for the pin, Sykes ran in to break the pinfall at the nearest second!
Ramesses got up to meet Sykes, who picked up the chair and went for the stiffest chair shot he could. He missed and well, there was a Pyramid Driver waiting on him!
ONE!
TWO!
Evelyn threw her body onto the pin to break it!
15:00: Ramesses got up with a roar, grabbing Evelyn. He tried to send her out, but she went to the ground and managed to wrap him up in the Light of Hope (Leg Scissors Cross Kneelock)! Ramesses screamed in agony as he could find anywhere to go. As he looked as if he was going to tap, Ricky got up and slid Evelyn out of the ring. This hyperextended the hold, but mostly, it set up Ramesses for what Ricky wanted.
PUNT KICK!
The crowd went wild for it, but they knew it boded bad for the champion.
20:09: Ramesses fell out, but Evelyn didn’t see the blow. Ricky got out the ring, taking the chair with him. Before Evelyn could break the hold, she saw Ricky’s gruesome glare. Her eyes widened in a moment of panic before Sykes bashed her with the same viciousness he had ready for Ramesses. She fell onto the outside mat with a sickening plop. Ricky dropped the chair and re-entered the ring.
Ramesses wasn’t nowhere to be found mentally. The punt kick hit him square on. Ricky smirked and brought up Ramesses for Sykosis! Ramesses fell to the mat, but Ricky wasn’t done. He hit a Class Axe in mockery to Issak Otto.
Only then did he connect with the last Sykosis!
As he went for the pin, Evelyn got back to her feet, bloodied and tired. She tried to head for the ring, but her leg gave out on her. She fell onto the ring apron, staring inside, unable to do anything about the pinfall that came. She lowered her head to the mat as the ring bell sounded.
Winner and NEW JCP CHAMPION: Ricky Sykes (20:09 by pinfall)
As Ricky got his hand raised, the referee went to go retrieve the belt, only to see it missing. He looked around and the crowd cheered as a mysterious man entered. As he came inside, he held a microphone clutched.
?: Ricky Sykes, congratulations on winning the JCP Championship in the final show. You will go down in history as the man to finally stop Evelyn Kuller. To me, that’s a lot.
He approached Ricky, handing him the belt.
?: My name is Jayce Valentine, and I’m the main benefactor of JCP. I’m Stefano’s father, but to you, Ricky. I hope that you’ll hear my offer for something better beyond JCP. You’ll hear from me shortly.
Jayce left the new champion behind under a loud mass of cheers. Ricky celebrated in the madness of the finale. He rose his championship high with the lasting shot being of a potential new era of wrestling.
With Ricky Sykes at the helm.
