The camera pans over the capacity crowd here in the Arena Pier 10 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. “Fundamental” by PUYA hits the PA System as the camera gets shots of the fans wearing wrestling shirts and holding up their signs in appreciation of CWL and its performers. The camera then cuts to the elevated platform where Enrique Marrero and Ace Casanova stand.

Enrique Marrero: Welcome, Ladies and Gentlemen to the FINAL episode of CWL Impacto Total.

Ace Casanova: It’s with a heavy heart that we close the curtain on this promotion, but the show must go on.

Enrique Marrero: That’s right Ace, we brought great shows to you week after week, even after Hurricane María struck the Island and many thought CWL would die with it.

Ace Casanova: And tonight, it won’t be any different.

Enrique Marrero: We have four matches, but two of those have huge ramifications on the final landscape of CWL champions as Brien Storm could fight his way into the title match later on tonight if he defeats Cass Baumer.

Ace Casanova: Storm has been at odds with Chalwell pretty much since The Return, and tonight he might get his shot at the title.

Enrique Marrero: But let’s not forget about Reventón, one of the longest tenured performers in CWL and the man that actually IS challenging Chalwell tonight independently from Storm’s result.

Ace Casanova: The little bull of a man has his opportunity at making history tonight as the final champion in CWL history.

Enrique Marrero: But we also have two other matches, Anna Williams faces off against Jan Van Der Roost in what promises to be a pretty entertaining match.

Ace Casanova: And the MONSTER Samedi, looks to cement his name by destroying three opponents tonight.

Enrique Marrero: So, strap your seatbelts on… and enjoy the final ride of Impacto Total!

Ringside

As the vocals of Queens Of The Stone Age burst out of the speakers, the crowd stands to their feet. Cass Baumer makes her way out of the gate lazily conducting the music while tremendous jeers rain down on the New Zealand-born social media mogul. Clad in a dodger blue leather studded jacket, the CEO smirks to the crowd as she struts down the aisle steadily while giving the camera a subtle V-sign with her palm inward. With the dodger blue strobe lights aimed directly at her, The Sensational One turns and begins walking backward, gesturing to the streamlined white #BaumerReport logo at the back of the jacket with her thumbs as a form of shameless advertising.

"Smooth Sailing" continues to blast out of the sound system with an unashamedly gaudy arrogance coating every word of the lyrics while The Headliner herself let out another devious smile. Flippantly turning once again to face the ring, she playfully tipped her snapback flat-rimmed cap donning her signature logo to the camera. Sliding underneath the bottom rope with ease, she bounced back to her feet and swiftly tosses her cap to a section of the crowd brandishing Cass Baumer signs over their heads. The boos raining down on her grew to a fever pitch as she extended her arm and gave everyone in attendance the V-sign. As the music dies down, Cass leans over the ropes to grab a microphone from an official out of the ring.

Cass Baumer: Let's be honest. This match against Brien Storm tonight should have happened much sooner but I had to steamroll past the likes of Jan Van Der Roost and Jesús Reyes before I got here. I needed to prove to all of you that I deserve all the hype I've accumulated around the Baumer name ever since I single-handedly cultivated the #BaumerReport in April of last year — a landmark idea which changed the very DNA of modern day wrestling as a whole! I needed to show everyone in CWL that the three championship reigns I've managed to accumulate in my extremely short tenure as a professional wrestler weren't just a fluke but an inevitability!

The crowd booed the #BaumerReport originator with all their might as the kiwi continues to speak over them with a slight accent.

Cass Baumer: Not everyone in CWC earns the right to compete for the CWC US Championship but I did. I outlasted six of the most talented fighters in the CWC United States Championship Tournament at War On Christmas to become the CWC US Champion but— Hey! Wait a second!

Her voice stopped in mock surprise.

Cass Baumer: Wasn't there one more schmuck in the tournament to make it seven people that I outlasted?

Cass pointed to the monitor embedded into the stage to reveal a small clip with the War On Christmas logo on the left-hand corner.
CWC: War On Christmas 2017

Brien Storm: In about a little over 24 hours, I'll begin a tournament to find the new CWC US Champion. The only outcome, of course, is a Brien Storm win. This tournament is stacked in my favor, I have the easiest path to final. First, I beat that emo chick from FORCE, and that's already an afterthought. She doesn't have the mental capacity nor the stability to beat me. I predict I'll beat her within 7 minutes, which will leave pretty fresh for the second round. In the second round, I'll fight either Tad Stokes or Josh Holloway. Tad Stoke, from what I read has some daddy issues, and Josh Holloway, for my beating him on my way to the final would be perfect. He may have beaten me once, but he can't beat me twice.

In the video clip, Brien took a puff of his cigarette, exhaling the smoke soon after. He took off his sunglasses and drops them to his right side. He had a look of determination in his eyes, but at the same time, you can see the relaxation in them as well as the looseness of his posture. Brien Storm believed every word he said without a doubt and intended on making those words true.

Brien Storm: Which brings us to the finals on Night 2. All of the people who are smart enough to realize can figure out that the finals of the tournament is going to come down to Sam Tolson and I. Sam, also has an easy walk right to the finals. In fact she has the easiest opening opponent in the tournament. That's beside the point, though. The point is that Sam and I are going to tear the fucking house down in TD Garden, but when the dust is settled... My arm is being raised, and the ring announcer is going to say, and new CWC United States Champion Brien Storm.

The recording version of Brien smiled at the camera and blew a kiss to it. Before the clip comes to an end, Brien continues as Cass and the rest of the audience watch on.

Brien Storm: My word is bond.

Just as quick as Brien said his final words, the video clip cut forward to show round one of the CWC United States Championship Tournament later that night where Brien Storm fought Heidi.

In the video Cass crafted especially for everyone watching, Heidi charges CWL's own Brien Storm but Brien swings around and rolls her up. The video makes sure to zoom in on Brien grabbing a handful of tights to seal the deal, blatantly highlighting the cheating tactic as everyone watches what happened a few months ago.

1…2…No! Heidi kicks out with tenacity! Storm begins crawling backwards as Heidi orients herself. She charges in and hits Brien with a low European uppercut, leaving him prone on the mat. She lifts him into position and her finisher Dead Space connects! The crowd is roaring as Heidi flips Storm over.

As the video shows Heidi going for the pin, the words of Brien Storm echo throughout the arena from the prior clip.

Brien Storm: My word is bond.

1…2…3! And Heidi heads into the semi-finals of the CWC United States Championship Tournament!

As the clip transitions into slow motion, Heidi celebrating her extraordinary win, the words of Brien Storm can be heard once again.

Brien Storm: When the dust is settled... My arm is being raised, and the ring announcer is going to say, and new CWC United States Champion Brien Storm.

The camera focuses on Brien Storm lying on the ground, completely contrary to the words he spoke.

Brien Storm: My word is bond.

The words repeated once again before we see Cass Baumer standing in the ring again at the video's conclusion.

Cass Baumer: Oh, now I remember! Brien Storm was in the same CWC United States Championship Tournament I was in and y'know how it ended? Brien Storm's journey came to an end in round one against Heidi — even though he tried to cheat to win 'cause he knew he wouldn't be able to beat Heidi otherwise — while I walked out of CWC: War On Christmas with the CWC US Championship slung over my shoulder!

Cass clutched the top rope and gazed at the audience around her, soaking in their negative reactions with a grin.

Cass Baumer: It was a prize people from all over the globe would kill to hold, fans and wrestlers alike, and it was in the hands of someone who would have been happy watching this sport as a fan like all of you watching right now, posting on Facebook about who would beat who and what stories would have been fuckin' stellar to watch from the couch but one thing came after another and here I stand... in front of all of you... the spitting image of success in a sport I never thought I'd ever become a part of and I've been making headlines ever since! But Brien Storm? Nah. He probably imagined himself becoming the champion ever since his wide eyes cast on the television to see two grown men battling in their underwear. He probably put all of himself into following the goal since he was a kid and on that night... War On Christmas... he couldn't hold a candle to me or anyone else in that tournament.

Brien Storm fans were loud and proud, making their intentions known as loud as possible as Cass conducted the chants for her opponent with a mocking indifference.

Cass Baumer: All he managed to do was be the source of comedy. I laughed when I saw him so sure of himself heading into the night — my word is bond — only to fall flat immediately afterward. Not even Sam Tolson made it to the finale as Brien predicted since I beat her on the way to the winner's circle but that's neither here nor there. And now... 104 days later... I stand in the way of yet another championship opportunity for him right here in a CWL ring and this time... You'll all be able to bear witness to yet another colossal failure in the career of Brien Storm and yet another win for yours truly as I stand undefeated in a CWL ring!

More wild boos chimed in from the audience.

Cass Baumer: You wanna know what's disheartening, though? Brien had the opportunity to be in the main event tonight to compete for the CWL Caribbean Heavyweight Championship before today but he just couldn't beat Reventon at Impacto Total 13! And sure, it could be argued that Alex Chalwell's interference was the cause of his loss but if you wanna be real? If I were in the same situation, I would have beaten Reventon regardless and won the CWL Caribbean Heavyweight Championship later tonight if I was given the chance!

Needless to say, the audience was skeptical of her boast.

Cass Baumer: But hey, let's give Brien another chance! Let's give him the opportunity to be in the main event and fight for the most prestigious prize here in CWL so long as the man can defeat me but here's the thing — it won't happen. He won't be given the chance 'cause I'm gonna beat him right in front of all of you before he even gains the chance to compete in the main event and I don't even need an interference to get it done! So tonight, it's Brien Storm versus yours truly in a legendary bout to decide whether or not he gets the chance but y'know what? I'll just beat the shit out of him and cement the fact that I'm not only the best competitor CWL has ever signed to their federation but I am also the most recognizable figure in all of wrestling right now!

She steps onto the bottom rope and grips the top rope tightly, her microphone in her free hand.

Cass Baumer: My word is bond.

Cass repeated the words mockingly before she tossed the microphone to the floor and took her spot in the corner, waiting for Brien to make his entrance.[/center]

Singles Match
Brien Storm vs. Cass Baumer

The match began with both wrestlers hitting each other with everything they got. Evidently there was no love lost between the two competitors and they were in to basically destroy each other in this match up and the fans could sense it as they continued to cheer their fight through the early portion of it where both Baumer and Storm managed to land vicious shots to the body of each other that made them stumble back a bit giving them enough space for a breather.

Storm and Baumer looked at each other and smirked, they knew the task ahead wouldn’t be easy… yet, Baumer is the one taking a more defensive stand, she knew Storm is the one that has the more to lose in this match up and she played up the fact, baiting Storm into making several mistakes in the middle portion of the match that lead to Storm eating a Discus Knee Strike to the mid-section that sent him down to his knees. From here Baumer took complete control of the match, going so far as to taunt the crowd and Storm, mocking him for having to go thru her to get a title shot later on in the night. All the mockery and taunting lead to Baumer hitting Storm with the “Rumor Mill” but only netted a two count.

In the final moments of the match, it seemed as if Baumer would end Storm’s dream of getting into the title match later on, but Storm managed to reverse the “Fact Check” and took control of the match mounting a comeback that made the crowd get back on their feet. He topped the whole comeback with the “Unforecasted Storm” for the victory!

Winner: Brien Storm

Backstage

Vanessa Marcano speaks about how Brien Storm made his way into the Main Event tonight and how now the CWL Caribbean Heavyweight Title match is a three way dance between Reventón, Brien Storm and Alex Chalwell; when Chalwell made his entrance to the scene. He looked at Vanessa, swung the Caribbean Heavyweight title over his shoulder and brought his right hand to his chin as he started to talk.

Alex Chalwell: So, another injustice happens on CWL final episode. I shouldn’t have to be defending this belt against TWO opponents, the match was set and Reventón won his match fair and square.

He then brings his hand down and lets out a sigh before speaking again.

Alex Chalwell: But if this is the game we’re playing, then so be it. I’ll defeat the man who has been unable to become a champion under the CWC umbrella, and I’ll defeat the man no one deems good enough for anything, let alone a title. I’ll let you decide which one is who.

Chalwell tapped on his title before continuing.

Alex Chalwell: Fact remains, tonight I end up where I started; at the very top of C – W – L, like it or not, that’s how it’s all going to end.

He then tapped Vanessa’s shoulder as he walked away.

Handicap Match
Samedi vs. Jesús Reyes & Delilah Santana & Lacey Turner

This wasn’t much of a match, while the numbers game certainly did its job early on in the match up as Reyes, Turner and Santana managed to keep Samedi at bay with quick tags and a speedy offense, Samedi quickly grabbed hold of Santana and proceeded to maul his way into the opposing team. Dismantling Santana, then Reyes and finally Turner in succession. Having the bodies piled up he looked with satisfaction before brining Santana up and hitting her with the “Maman Brigitte” for the three count and the quick victory.

Winner: Samedi

Backstage

The show cuts backstage to where Reventón can be seen walking proudly down the hallway. The backstage staff part like the Red Sea as they see the majestic little bull man walking towards them. His tiny fists pounding his chest as he bellows, almost as if to say that 'today is the day! The day that Reventón finally gets to challenge Alex Chalwell for the CWL Caribbean Heavyweight Championship!'

With his head held high, Reventón continues marching down the corridor, arms swaying his side as he knows that this will be his first and only chance. He knows that this is the last ever CWL show, and he's determined not to let this chapter of his life close with Alex Chalwell still as the champion. Reventón hopes that the great bull spirit that resides within him, that guides him and shows him the way through his matches, will shine brightly tonight. He hopes that the great bull spirit will help him overcome his greatest obstacle and finally claim the top prize in CWL. So that Reventón can call himself champion! He moos loudly, fist pumping with both hands as the show cuts back to ringside.

Singles Match
Anna Williams vs. Jan van Der Roost

This match up was a test for Williams. Van Der Roost veteran skills were enough to toy with Williams around for quite a while opening the match. Every time Williams went in for the attack, The Fixer had an answer for her, he was basically the matador in this situation as he kept making Williams look rubbish inside the ring, like she didn’t belong; and that frustrated Williams to no end, to the point where she exited the ring and threw a tantrum, to the delight of the crowd and Van Der Roost who kept stretching himself inside the ring. Once Williams was done, her eyes looked fired up and she stormed to the ring, but was received by a series of kicks from Van Der Roost who ended the flurry of attacks with a swift Superkick that sent Williams crashing to the mat.

Van Der Roost didn’t go for the pin, instead choosing to continue teaching Williams’ a lesson or two inside the ring. Working over his opponent with the precision of a surgeon, Van Der Roost continued to dissect his opponent and make her hurt inside the ring, focusing his attack on Williams’ leg, no doubt preparing her for the “Van der Lock”. But Williams managed to send The Fixer crashing against the turnbuckle as he was trying to soften her leg up. She got to her feet, and wobbled her way towards Van Der Roost managing to hit him with a Float-Over DDT. Williams went for the cover, but the count only got to two.

Frustrated Williams started to hit the mat and looked to hit Van Der Roost with the “Bermuda Triangle”, but Van Der Roost reversed the move and managed to lock Williams in with the “Van der Lock”. She struggled for a bit, almost tapping out, but managed to grab the bottom rope, making Van Der Roost let go of the hold. She then used the rope to pull herself out of the ring. Van Der Roost used this time to play up to the crowd, sensing the match was well in his grasp. But Williams managed to roll under the ring and after a bit emerged, but she wasn’t wobbling as she was before. Instead she looked fresh as she entered the ring. Jan looked to hit her with another Superkick, but Williams dodged and grabbed a hold of Van der Roost for the “Bermuda Triangle” and the victory.

Winner: Anna Williams

Caribbean Heavyweight Title Match
Brien Storm vs. Reventón vs. Alex Chalwell

The final Main Event in CWL’s history took place as Brien Storm, Reventón and Alex Chalwell battled out for the CWL Caribbean Heavyweight Championship. In the early goings of the match both Reventón and Storm worked together trying to get Chalwell down and out, preferring to battle it out between themselves later on. Chalwell managed to reverse a couple of moves from both Storm and Reventón to make it a more even match up in the early going, managing to get the crowd on their feet as all three competitors were throwing everything out; including some amazing aerial maneuvers from Reventón who managed to hit a Moonsault off the top rope onto both Storm and Chalwell that brought the crowd to a collective “WOW!”

Reventón continued going after both Storm and Chalwell as he dodged a clothesline from Chalwell and hit Storm with a Hurricarrana only to continue his sprint and hit a Hurricarrana on Chalwell. The crowd was firmly behind Reventón at this point, chanting his name, something that pumped the little bull as he looked to continue his momentum, but Storm stopped him from achieving that as he kicked Reventón right on the dome, almost knocking him out. Chalwell managed to get back on his feet at this point and went straight for Storm. As the two battled it out in the middle of the ring, trading blows, Reventón started to get back on his feet with the use of the ropes. He looked at his two opponents going at it and then at the crowd, several times before he decided to use the ropes as a springboard and launch himself towards both Chalwell and Storm with a crossbody. Reventón pinned Chalwell but only got a count of two before Storm took him out.

After that, Storm locked in the Koji Clutch on Chalwell, but Chalwell refused to give up, giving Reventón enough time to hit Storm with a Dropkick that made him give up on the hold and the match to continue. But just as Reventón started to believe he had a chance here, Chalwell managed to hit him with the “Mirror Shot” and hooked the leg looking for a pin, but only managed to get a two count as Storm was there to break the pin. The match would continue for another several minutes, with none of the wrestlers being able to take a distinct advantage over their opponents. Until Chalwell managed to hit Storm with the “Pepperidge Remembers”, it seemed as if Chalwell would defend his belt, but out of nowhere, Reventón hit Chalwell with the “GORE!” for the three count and the victory!

Winner: Reventón

Ringside

As confetti falls over the newly crowned Caribbean Champion and one of the longest tenured CWL Wrestlers in Reventón, CWL fans cheer his name and chant for CWL. Reventón proudly puts the title over his head and the curtain falls on CWL.

*OOC Note: Thank you to everyone who lent me their characters on this journey, from the begining to this point. It's been great knowing the lot of you trusted me with your creations and I hope I left them with a little more than they had when you handed them to me. I'm sorry I wasn't able to finish up some stories, but this is what I had to do. I'll still be around on twitter and what not, so if you want to talk, I'm here... once again, THANK YOU!
