Gilnea’s Apartment,
The Bastion

“GAH! FUCK THIS!”

An input pad sails across the room and lands with an unceremonious crack in a corner of the apartment of Gilnea Hardgrave. She shakes her head and looks at the flashing codes of encryption practically taunting her on the screen. Her lips twitch as the glow reflects on her face and she shakes her head. A ding is heard from her apartment.

“Another failed attempt, Gilnea.”

“It would seem that way GRAN.”

“I’ve sent the file to the others you requested, but their decryption tools aren’t as... finessed as your own. I’m afraid they all lost the file before they could finish with it.”

Gilnea scowls at her screen, before tapping her temple and bringing up her holoimager again. “We’ve been at this thing for the last two days GRAN. This is encryption well above anything the CAS can do.”

“Could this be Xenosect related then?”

“Maybe, but why would they send me anything? What’s in it for them? And why not send a little message with it? Hi Gilnea, we know you think of us as a bunch of ultra ancient obsessed animals with nothing better to do but stand in the way of humanity’s passions, but we need this super hard thing decrypted because we’re using tech that’s a century behind the times. Gilnea spits slightly as she gets up and moves to her food processor again.

As if knowing exactly what she needs, the processor has already made a plate of steak and vegetables when her computer beeps. Rolling her eyes through her holo imager, she taps some buttons on the pad on her wrist and reads a message that plays in front of her eyes.

Hey Grave Links, missed ya at the melee today. You ok over there? You’ve been AWOL ever since the last tourney. If something’s come up at least let us know. We still got the annual Smash tournament to participate in and we could really use you for that. Just message one of us ok? Sir GEO

Gilnea sighs at the message and shakes her head. She loved playing her games and especially loved this team she had been lucky enough to get recruited to and become such a star with, but this code, whatever it’s hiding, she can just sense it’s big. She shakes her head and types out a simple reply: There’s been an emergency rl. Had to warp back home. Will let you know.

Her apartment system replies to her. “You really think he’s going to buy that?”

“Maybe, maybe not. Chances are he’ll probably use it as yet another attempt to cozy up to me.”

If the system had a body, it likely shudders right now. “I didn’t like it when he was here. His personal pad is such a mess. I doubt he’d optimized that thing in a few years.”

“Benefits of having the Auto-Link software, anything he does keep on his personal pad is just cached stuff anyway.” Gilnea returns to her computer with her meal and touches one of her monitors. It projects a holgraphic display of a Rubix cube, but even the insides are displayed and seem to move at random instead of by row or column.

GRAN beeps at her again. “Gilnea, I should caution you that I’m detecting your GABA levels have fallen precariously low.

“So?”

“If you continue this chase after this encryption, it could very well cause your stress level to skyrocket. I really suggest taking anxiolytic and getting a couple hours rest before you attempt any further solutions.”

Gilnea shakes her head as the Rubix cube finishes setting itself. “You worry about me too much GRAN. I’ve never come across a puzzle that I couldn’t solve if I just look at it the right way. It really is all about perspective after all. And how many different-” Gilnea looks up from the Rubix cube that she has thus far been buzzing through.

GRAN registers the pause. “Sorry, miss, I don’t believe you finished your thought.”

Gilnea mouths to herself as her eyes look back and forth. Suddenly she looks at the coding on her monitor “It’s all different.”

“Gilnea, what is?”

“The encryption” She says standing up from her chair..”A long time ago systems couldn’t handle the same sizes of data streams as they can today. They had to compress files in order to send larger amounts of data efficiently. Sometimes they called it Zipping files.”

“As in when you tell Sir GEO to zip up his fly?”

Gilnea rushes over to her tossed input pad and grabs it. It is surprisingly undamaged though the same cannot be said for her wall. “Not quite. Point is these compressions could have different levels and different encryptions within them. Nowadays the only things that need encryption for any reason are classified documents and most failed attempts, even with finnessed decryption, will destroy it. But these just keep rebuilding off failed attempts, because not all of them are using the same encryption.”

“You mean there’s more than one file in there?”

“It’s why I couldn’t see the pattern, but yes there... and there... and there. The code repeats at a basic interval, but any decryption program will just read the line as it stands because levels of compression and encryption are never used these days.” Gilnea’s fingers fly across her input pad as her eyes dart from one position to another. She finally brings a line together and runs the decryption on that line. It reveals a file which she downloads. She continues this until she has run through them all.

GRAN’s robotic voice is almost amazed. “How many files are here?”

“Easily over two dozen. And they all relate to a reciprocal file which is only revealed when correlating a pattern of misinformation and entering the correct information.”

“So yet another level?”

“Another level just means a new objective. Let’s see what this first one is.”

Gilnea opens the first file and a video plays on her holo imager. It’s impossible to make out details, but it looks like some kind of fight or struggle. There are many cries of despair and anger playing. Gilnea’s eyes go wide and she covers her mouth in shock.

Europa, Central District
The Bastion.

Dates never made her nervous, but today… Today is a completely different story. First of all, it’s not a true date, per se. Sure, Wesley Clarke invited her over for lunch, but it didn’t seem like he was flirting. Nothing in his behavior raised a red flag, no suspicious winkings, no boldness in his words, no uncalled for appreciative remarks… The former Aegis PD captain was extremely professional, and inclined to listen and help her.

Then why is she so nervous?

Perhaps it’s the lack of sleep, a whole night up reviewing security footage -thank God for hi-res cameras- reading reports, examining evidence and combing through pages and pages of an investigation that, in hindsight, was superficial to say the least. Perhaps the excitement of starting to shed some light on her father’s death, but Diandra finds herself hesitating in front of Europa, a fancy apartment complex in the heart of the Central District, not too far from the Aegis PD headquarters.

Clarke’s recent decision to quit his job left her confused. Part of her believes that, with him no longer being affiliated with the PD he’s her best option to share her concerns with. His expertise is out of question, and with no bonds tying him with Aegis, she can count on the absolute confidentiality. Which is something to keep in high consideration, especially with the widespread corruption among the uniforms her father warned her about.

On the other hand, he doesn’t have the power to reopen the investigation anymore. But now she’s there… Diandra rings the doorbell.

Clarke answers the door, wearing a pair of dress slacks and a t-shirt. The fabric of the shirt is being strained over his muscles. “Diandra, good to see you, come in.”

Clarke extends his hand for a handshake. She shakes his hand, smiling politely.

“Thank you Sir…” She quickly corrects herself, shaking her head. “I mean Wesley.”

They walk inside his apartment. Surprisingly tidy and clean, for being a single man’s home. Various commendations and medals hanging from the white walls. “Nice place you got here”

Clarke looks around, realizing his apartment looks a little sterile, but smiles at the compliment. “Thanks, sorry about the mess.”

He ushers her into the kitchen, where a pot of soup is cooking, as well as some grilled sandwiches. “Your old man told me a story once about how you always wanted grilled cheese and tomato soup as a kid, so I figured this was a safe bet for lunch.”

“You’re not wrong.” She says with a big smile as she sits at the table. “Every time mom was not home and dad was cooking, this was his menu. Probably the only food he could cook.” The light chuckle quickly fades, her expression shifting to a frown as she lets out a deep sigh.

Clarke, realizes instantly that she misses him, and maybe the meal was the wrong approach. “Sorry, I...I'm sorry. I promise we will figure out what happened. I strongly believe that there is corruption in Aegis, and that is what led to your father's death.”

Diandra nods. What was just a suspicion a few days ago, turned into a certainty after looking into the case. “It was a set-up Wesley. I know for sure now.” She says these words looking straight into his eyes. She didn’t stutter, sounding extremely convinced. And convincing. “I have proof.”

Wesley's eyes widen. “Proof? How sound is the proof?”

“Airtight” She says with a light nod, not even a shadow of a doubt in her voice. “There’s something… I didn’t even notice at first, but it was right there, in front of everyone’s eyes…” She’s not even trying to hide the excitement for what she recently discovered. “Look, here!”

Diandra taps something on her wrist pad, and a video starts playing on the small screen. “This is the only footage we have of the man that allegedly, killed my father, since the closed circuits camera of the bank were damaged… Do you notice anything?” Wesley stares at the clip, showing a man walking down the sidewalk and stopping in front of the bank, where he proceeds to conceal his identity with a balaclava and picking up the gun from around his waist.

Wesley watches on, hitting replay a second and third time, processing what he's watching. Finally on the fifth time through his eyebrows perk up. “I'll be god damned. This is...ironclad.”

“I’m bringing this up to Pearce tomorrow morning. It’s more than enough to reopen the case.” She says, looking up at him, almost asking for validation.

Wesley looks at her a moment, carefully choosing his words. “Diandra, don't. If this is saying what we know it is, we need to wait and have all of the evidence. You know Aegis just sweeps things under the rug. We need to take matters into our own hands.”

She stares at him, slightly confused. The Aegis PD is corrupted, she always knew that. Her father made a career out of chasing dirty cops, and the meddling of some of the biggest corporations in the highest ranks of the Aegis PD are more than just a rumors. But she still believes in justice, just like Ryan Kay. “There’s no justice outside Aegis…” She repeats the motto they’ve been taught at the Academy, absentmindedly.

Wesley let's out a long sigh. A thought, he once believed wholeheartedly, is now an afterthought. “Diandra, I wish that were true. Trust me, I was the captain, there is no justice. Especially when it comes to Aegis’ own corruption. If you try to open this case again, I fear, you could wind up as your father. I would hate to see that. Help me bring Justice to Aegis. Please.”

She stands silent for some seemingly long moments, pondering his words. “What are you suggesting?”

Wesley searches his mind a moment, choosing his words carefully. “I'm building a crew, we are going to seek justice, our own justice, and we are going to make some very good money doing so. We will bring down Aegis, the way it should be, by exposing, and attacking everything they stand for, then we can expose them for the corruption, we can get justice for your father, and show the world there's a better way.”

“I…” Hesitation. As tempting as the offer sounds, as thirst for justice her heart is, something is blocking her from accepting Clarke’s offer. There’s no justice outside Aegis. That mantra keeps ringing in her ears, but it’s not one of the instructor at the Academy repeating those words to her. No, the voice she’s hearing is her father’s. A man who gave his life for Justice, a man who pledged his loyalty not to a uniform, an institution or some corporate suits playing with other people’s life to chase their interests.

His allegiance was to an ideal. The need for order the Universe was demanding so desperately.

And so was hers.

“Thank you for your offer Wesley. But I’m my father’s daughter, I live by his code and, if necessary, I’d die for it. I wish you luck in your mission, but my place is behind this shield. I will honor my father’s memory, his fight is now my fight. I will do things Ryan Key’s way, that’s what dad would have wanted me to do.”

Wesley ponders his next move, respecting her decision. He takes a bite of his food.

“Would it help you to know, that a month before his passing, your father came to me, concerned about some dealings, that I opened up a case, that as soon as I did he started fearing for his life. He was trying to find the best way to exit Aegis, the day he died he turned in his resignation. He handed it to me, and before it could be processed, he got called out on his last call.”

An unexpected turn of events. Never in her life she would have imagined hearing that her father, the most honorable, law-and-order man she ever met was about to walk away from the life he choose. He never mentioned it even though, in all honesty, he was no longer so enthusiast about his daughter following his footsteps. The time seems to freeze, and Diandra can’t move. Paralyzed, shocked. It takes her a while before being able to say something. “He.... I... “ Even more to formulate coherent thoughts.

“I need time, Wesley.” She stands up and leaves.

Xenosect Central Command HQ
Jeunope.

Rumors that Marvelous had obtained a weapon that could wipe out all the races had spread through the galaxy. They were so strong the other factions decided to send in a single spy into the Xenosect Stronghold. It was debated to send along a force to attempt to take out Marvelous and to get the weapon from them….but there was no guarantee he had the weapon.
The spy lurked around the outside of central command and obtained a badge to access the building. He was picked up by a heat signature camera...alerting security….

Inside Captain Marvelous chambers the Xenosect Leader is tangled up with a beautiful woman, caught in the middle of intercourse. Her moans and screams hide the noise of the door opening as one of the guards walk into the chamber.

“Captain Marvelous….sir this is an emergency.”

The woman stops as she breathes heavy as Marvelous rose from the bed. He slowly turns and stares at the interruption. The guard becomes nervous as Marvelous stares him down.

“Sir….you said that only interrupt for emergency situations…..”

“WHAT……….is it Sergeant…..” He grunts, clearly annoyed for the interruption.

“A spy sir….is inside the command center. We believe he is looking for the weapon.”

Marvelous starts putting his clothes on. He turns his head towards the woman who understood quickly it was time for her to make her exit. She grabs her uniform and exit quickly. He pulls his pants up. “Well of course he is looking for the weapon. I'm sure by now the robot scum has found out what Keepr did. I'm sure they alerted the rest of the factions. So….let's allow him to find it.”

The Xenosect Sergeant looks at his leader. “But if he alerts the others sir…”

“There is nothing they can do. From what I hear the scientists are close to fabricating it. It will be too late for them to stop us. I'll take care of the spy. God Bless You Sergeant.”

The Sergeant bows to Marvelous. “God Bless You sir. May his Light lead you.”

The Sergeant exited as Marvelous flipped his cape over his shoulders extravagantly. He then walked out of his chamber.

The spy is moving through the compound with ease….Too easy He’s probably thinking in his mind. But there’s nothing easy about dealing with these vicious terrorists and he has a job to do….The most important he had of his life. He had to see if Marvelous had it. The fate of millions is depending on it.

He arrives at the secure lab, meeting no guards on his path there. He just chalks it up to luck and quickly moves into the room. Looking around, the only thing that stands out is a gold disk sitting in a case. He gasps as he took pics then grabbed his transponder...he whispers quietly.

“The disk is here….the gold disk that the one the Terani reported missing...it matches the description. Jesus...he has the plans….”

He hears a sliding door slam and the lights come on. The spy quickly turns and locks eyes with Marvelous himself….He slowly stands up as Marvelous starts walking around him at a distance. “But….did the robots tell you what is on that disk? Or did they just say it is a weapon?”

The spy says nothing as he keeps his eyes locked on the Captain.

“t's not just a weapon….it's the Reckoning….it's like when God had to unleash the great flood to purge the Earth of evil. Yet...before he did...he appointed Noah to build an ark to save two of every animal so they can rebuild after 40 days and 40 nights of deadly flooding…”

Marvelous has yet to look at the spy since he started walking.

“What's on that disc is the flood that will purge this galaxy...and I am the Ark that my people will jump on. And after it's all over...we the Xenosect will rebuild a better universe. The spy finally speaks. “So….killing millions to set up your perfect universe? Women...children...innocent people. You are no God Marvelous….C.A.S will stop you.”

Marvelous laughs as with blinding speed he pulls his sword and has it against the Spy’s throat. “God willing….they will try.

Marvelous slices the spy’s head off clean. He has a look of immense pleasure on his face as he stares down at the headless body. He closes his eyes and kneels down next to the corpse “Now I lay thee...down to sleep….I pray to the Lord thy soul to keep…”

The Captain finishes as he stands up and makes the sign of the cross with his hand. Two of his sergeants comes into the scene as they stare at the dead body “Take the body out and burn it. Put his head out for display and record everything. Transmit the burning and the head out for the C.A.S to see…”

Captain Marvelous walks over to the table and picks up the disc and picks it up. “How close are we?”

“The scientists say just a matter of days Captain.” One of his sergeants responds quickly

“They have two days...and they better not disappoint me.” Captain Marvelous turns and walks away and out of the room. The scene fades to black on the body and the head lying next to each other. The eyes of the spy showing fear as the very last thought that went through his mind.

The Silver Dollar Brohel,
Lyax, moon of Thilykòs

The scene opens on Captain Andromeda Rubio walking into the throne room of Queen Daria of the planet Thilykós, Rubio bows and addresses the queen. “Your majesty, I've received word that a reliable source has information that she wishes to share with me in person, I feel it would be beneficial if you were to accompany me. We should depart soon.”

“Are you certain that this is a matter that requires our immediate attention?”

“Yes my Queen, I feel the information may be time sensitive and haste is in order.” She says with a light bow.

“Then let us be off.” She then turns her attention to her counselor. “Hold any business I have planned for the rest of the day.”

Queen Daria and Captain Rubio then depart the spaceport in a rather anonymous looking personal transport heading to Lyax, one of Thilykós’ nearby moons. Inside the Silver Dollar Brothel we see someone relaxing at a table by himself, enjoying the show on stage as it proceeds as normal, the man, Zerra the Bounty Hunter, is sipping back a glass of unknown liquid, smile on his face as one of the girls comes down from the stage and begins dancing for him up close and personal. He’s enjoying himself, as you may expect, until his wristband begins to light up. Looking annoyed down at it, he holds up a finger for the girl to signal he’ll just be a minute and presses a button in his left ear.

“Zerra here…”

His expression lightens up as he listens to what the other person, presumably through some telecommunication, is saying, standing up out of his chair and walking to a more quiet part of the building, the girl shrugging and heading back on stage. “I didn’t think he’d be available for...uh huh, oh of course I can do it...how much? Consider it done, are there any other details you can provide?”

The camera pans over to the front door of the Brothel just in time to see Captain Rubio and Queen Daria walking in with their heads covered, once inside the remove their cowls but remain shielded behind their masks. The two women make their way to the bar, where they are told that their drinks are on house, and look around for their contact. Just then a door opens and a young woman motions for them to enter. Captain Rubio enters first hand ready at her hip, followed by Queen Daria, her demeanor as calm and regal as ever.

“Ah, there you are, I was beginning to worry that I'd been misinformed.”

Gina Silver enters the room and sees her mom talking to Captain Rubio and The Queen of Thilykós. “Captain Rubio, always a pleasure.” She says, bowing to the Queen.

Daria nods her head towards Gina. She admires the girl’s business sense. “Your highness. Sorry to interrupt but the shipment from Chevron has arrived and this order needs your thumb print.”

Victoria places her thumb on the purchase pad a green light flashes and Victoria removes her thumb from the pad, Gina nods her head and walks off. “Remind Captain Kreiger of the favor he owes me.”

Gina again nods then exits the room.

“Sorry about that, now where were we?”

“Of course I have no qualms paying you that amount for our information. I understand that you have been a valuable and trusted resource for our dear captain.”

“We were discussing the shipment that you called me about. Medical supplies you say?”

Victoria nods a sly smirk on her face. “Yes one of my patrons, a Freighter Captain from Marquis 3 got a bit talkative after too much Saurian brandy and let slip that he’ll be delivering a shipment in the next few days, a huge cargo of medical equipment,Healicon, which as I understand it, can be sold on the black market for good money. Here is the information Gina obtained got from him.”

Victoria hands Captain Rubio a tablet, she and Queen Daria look it over, smile and Rubio sinks the information onto a tablet of her own.

“This information is quite helpful, I’ll have the credits transferred to your account Victoria, thank you. We must be going though, I do have business I must attend to.“

“So soon... You only just arrived.” Victoria is talking to the queen in a smooth, mellifluos tone. “ My daughter Casey’s show will be starting in a few minutes, it would give Captain Rubio and I some time to catch up, and for you to enjoy some entertainment, Queen Daria.”

“While the offer is tempting, I'm afraid we really must leave.” The Queen quickly replies in that cold and emotionless tone that seems to distinguish her.

As Captain Rubio, Queen Daria, and Victoria leave the private room they keep discussing the many ways that shipment of Healicon could be used for, as well as the profit they can make. Rubio mentions that Victoria will of course get her 10% finders fee in addition to today’s payment. “Thank you Victoria, your information is always helpful and welcome.”

“Yes thank you. As the leader of Thilykós, I appreciate the cooperation with our favorite pirate. It has been a pleasure doing business with you.”

As Rubio and Daria turn and start heading towards the door, they find themselves standing in front of Zerra, blocking their exit out of the establishment. “If you’re going to gather up the Healicon, I want in.” Smug, confident and uncaring of the fact that he’s in presence of a Queen. Typical Zerra.

“Who is this male and why is he presuming to speak to me?” Captain Rubio asks the brothel’s owner.

“This has nothing to do with you, Zerra, I allow you to use my establishment, and enjoy the company of my girls, Captain Rubio is an old family friend and while I haven’t had any dealing with the Queen of Thilykós, if she is a friend of Captain Rubio I will provide her with information, for a fee of course. What is your interest in this Zerra.”

“You'll have to excuse him Captain, this man is clearly not used to the customs and formalities of our planet. Perhaps he needs to understand that there is no need for a male presence, I am sure you and your crew are quite capable of handling this task yourselves.”

Zerra chuckles under his breath. “I don’t presume to judge the capabilities of your crew, I would just ask that you allow me to come with you to retrieve it If you plan on selling it on the market anyway, allowing me to follow would cut out a step for you and I’ll be more than willing to compensate you for your troubles.”

“We don't need a man involved in this endeavor at all. What makes you presume that you can just waltz over and eavesdrop on our conversation and expect to muscle in on our profits!”

Zerra looks to Rubio for a moment, eyes glaring before he eases up a bit. “I’m not trying to muscle in on anything, I’m merely saying that I want in. Now if you won’t allow me to come with you, then I may have to find my way there on my own, and out there? It’s going to be every man for themselves, if you’ll pardon the expression.”

Rubio and Daria start to speak at the same time, but the captain quickly defers to her queen. “It usually is…”

Daria steps between Rubio and Zerra she puts a hand on Rubio's shoulder then turns and looks Zerra directly in the eyes. “Mr. Zerra, we appreciate your offer but we do not need or want your help, but be warned we do not take kindly to threats. I suggest you remove yourself from this conversation before Captain Rubio loses her temper.”

“What a shame that would be. I’ll let you leave, don’t worry, but a bit of information you might not be aware of, your highness, is that much like your crew, there are certain parties that would be quite interested if you were to stop operating, and willing to pay quite the premium to meet you in person. I respect Victoria here enough where I won’t engage with her friendlier patrons in her establishment, but you might want to be careful out there. Your highness.”

With that, Zerra turns to the door and opens it, taking one final glance behind him towards the pair before heading out.

“Queen Daria, it looks like you may have time to enjoy this establishment after all, I have business I have to take care of.”

Rubio turns to follow Zerra out, not taking kindly to anyone threatening her queen, Daria smirks and grabs Captain Rubio by the hand. “No Captain, now is not the time to engage. We will deal with that threat accordingly, right now we have other business to attend to.”

Daria and Rubio politely excuse themselves and head to their transport.

With the tension died down Victoria walks over to the bar, the male bartender reaches under the bar to a secret compartment and produces a bottle of Jack Daniels. “After the day I’ve had make it a double.”

The bartender pours the double shot and Victoria lowers it down, she smiles at the bartender. “Join me in my quarters after your shift.”

The male bartender nods and Victoria walks away

Aventia 3,
Abandoned CAS mining colony
The Fringe

The scene opens as the figure of Malik walks up to the ‘abandoned’ mining office on Aventia 3. Looking around cautiously, he pushes open the door, the light inside dim, but still enough to see by. Malik steps in then closes the door behind him. He looks at the door and sees a red tracer light dot then it goes away. He slowly turns and looks ahead, seeing three red tracer lights just above his eye level.

“More polite to knock first. Safer…”

The Terani sits at his desk, his gloved hand precariously positioned over his tablet. His eyes, barely visible through his amber goggles, are trained on the intruder.Three weapons are trained on the human, their tracer lights focused on one point, the middle of Malik’s forehead.

“Reason... so I not leave hole in head, mess up my door.”

Malik chuckles, his eyes rising up and looking at the tracer lights on his forehead. “Don’t leave it open’’

My place. My rule.” The Terani sets his jaw, lifting it slightly. “Again. Reason, or hole in human skull, in three, two…”

‘Woah, alright, alright, settle down. You Terani don’t have much in terms of sense of humor do you? I’m here to enquire about an item.” Malik pulls a tablet out of his bag, handing it to Keepr. Well? What do you think?”

Keepr sets the tablet on the table in disgust, then wipes his hand on his tunic. “Human…. Germs. Worst scourge of Universe.”

Slowly he eyes the tablet. The Terani looks up at Malik, then pushes the tablet away. “You know what… this is?”

Malik’s relaxed expression quickly switches to a intesfied look as he takes a few steps closer to Keepr. “This is where I change my tone. Am I correct in assuming this is the place or that you’re the person one may visit in order to find something? I need you to use your expertises and find this for me. Yes, I know what it is and I have my reasons. Reasons that you don’t need to know. All you need to know is that I’ll pay a large amount of credits for this item.”

Malik pushes the tablet back towards Keepr. “Reasons, I care not. Obtain, I can. Credits, Many. Half now. Half upon delivery. Two time cycles. Item, I have.”

The Terani takes his hand off his tablet, the tracer lights lower as Keepr taps the other tablet with a code. “Transfer.”

Malik begins tapping the numbers on the tablet, entering a large amount of credits. He takes a step back once finished, producing a smile towards Keepr. “Wonderful. That wasn’t so hard was it. It was dreadful doing business with you. I’ll be hoping to receive my delivery soon.” Malik grabs his tablet off the table, and turned away. Keepr puts his hands together in contemplation as the human leaves the office.

“First, Xeno. Then, Human. Problems, Troublesome. Credits…” Keepr gives a slight smile. “Plentiful.”
