Millennium II: POWER COUPLE
LIVE from the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, MO
Saturday April 7, 2018

The show comes to life panning over pyrotechnic display on the Millennium Wrestling stage: The large metallic M hanging over the stage itself, with wrestlers emerging from beneath the heavy spiked. "Waking Lions" by Pop Evil blasts through the arena, pumping up the audience in attendance. The cameras pan around the arena, showcasing the sold-out crowd, focusing in on a few of the fan-made signs:

"NORIE SMASH" "B MY VALENTINE" "Van Beek will be Van BEAT" "My Umbrella > Julian's!" "Steele A Win" "There are TWO Matthews now??" "CYBORG" "My Favorite Drug is X" "LOOK AT ALL THE NEW PEOPLE" "Luke Jackson = Beast Mode" "Jenni Yang can have my babies"

The show cuts to the broadcast table.

Bea Torres: "Poor Jenni."

Jared Idol: "Aye. But that guy is here every week. As are we! Welcome to episode TWO of Millennium Wrestling Enterprise! Jared Idol here alongside my ever-excitable broadcast partner Bea Torres-"

Bea Torres: "I AM EXCITED."

Jared Idol: "You always are. But you're not wrong to be! We got a huge show tonight. Our main event, our Millennium Champion and our Cloud Gate Champion team up against the FORMER Millennium Champ and the CURRENT Cloud Gate Number One Contender!"

Bea Torres: "We've also got a rematch between Sephora Eastwick and Brett Carson. The cyborg claims last week was a fluke... tonight I think he's ready to prove it."

Jared Idol: "And of course, we can't forget the handicap match. Dane Archer demanded that our GM Chuck Matthews give him anybody he had, and Chuck made good on it. Tonight, Dane fights not one, not two, but THREE men... at the same time."

Bea Torres: "Think the big guy has bitten off more than he can chew?"

Jared Idol: "One of those competitors is newcomer Carson Campbell... so who knows what could happen?"

Bea Torres: "One way to find out! It's time for Millennium!"

The camera cuts to the ring for our opening bout.

Singles Match
Jessica Idol VS Josh Anderson

Quote:

The match kicks off with Josh and Jessica, two wrestlers with the worst records in PRIDE, now MWE, going directly at each other. Jessica, to even her own surprise, lands a swinging neckbreaker right out of the gate that takes the both of them down. Capitalizing on the momentum, she dives on top of Josh for the pin. One... kickout by Anderson.

Despite getting the first shot, though, nothing else seemed to go right for the Idol sister. Anderson kipped to his feet, enraged at nearly losing yet another match, to Jessica no less. He pounded away, letting fists and elbows fly, driving Jessica to the corner, where he slowly lifted her to the top rope. Josh wrapped her arm around his neck, trying to lift her. Jessica tries to block it, but fails. Josh takes the both of them down with a superplex that leaves them both out of the equation! The referee begins to count them both out. One... two... three... Josh is the first to stir. Four... five... six... He gives up trying to stand, instead crawling over towards Idol. Seven... eight... Josh throws an arm over Jessica's chest, prompting the referee to count. One... two... three!
Winner: Josh Anderson
By: Pinfall, 4:55

Josh slowly gets to his feet, clutching his hip. The commentators view the replay, showing Josh landing on his hip rather than his back. Still, he seems no worse for the wear as he raises his arms and heads to the back. The show cuts to commercial.

The show returns to Wren Sweet standing in the ring, awaiting Kendall James. Rather than her theme song playing, the heavy riff of "Brains" comes through instead, leading Chuck Matthews onto the stage, to the boos of the St. Louis crowd. He announces that, unfortunately, Kendall James is not in attendance tonight, and therefore Wren Sweet is without an opponent. Wren didn't seem to be too fazed by this news. Still, Chuck promised that, next week, Wren WOULD be in action, against an opponent of Chuck's own choosing. For now, though, Wren had the week off.

Singles Match
Kaysie Sherell VS Nora Foley

Quote:

As Wren made her way to the back, Nora Foley passed her by, dwarfing the woman with her impressive hulking frame. She seemed irritated as she hit the ring which, as the commentators pointed out, may have had to do with her precious and very expensive pre workout going missing. Kaysie Sherell entered next, looking ready to finally prove herself in the Millenn-

ANDRASTE'S HAMMER.

The moment the bell rang, Nora seized the former PRIDE Women's Champion, breaking her in half over the Wolfmother's knee. Nora rested her foot on Kaysie's chest. One... two... let's be honest, the referee could have counted to a thousand.

Winner: Nora Foley
By: Pinfall, 0:05

Nora calms down after the match, smiling and giving high fives to a few fans before the show cuts backstage.

The scene cuts to the back where Josh Anderson is basically power walking from the ring, still covered in sweat from his match. He sees the cameras and shakes his head as he stops and lets out a small sigh.

Josh Anderson
"You know, my time in this company has been lackluster to say the least. I walked in and took out three people the first night that I was signed. But that's when the shit started to hit the proverbial fan. Here's the thing, I am a former World Champion and multiple time champion. Hell, I even held a championship for well over a calendar year and have a gym in my name where some of the top talents in this industry come to learn and train..."

He lowers his head and lightly shakes it before looking back to the camera.

Josh Anderson
"Then there's this whole, Pride and now Millennium issues. I can't shake what it is and that's the most fucking agitating part of it all. I have done all these things and won all these accolades but they don't mean shit here, they haven't translated into the big wins here. Sure, I could take the easy way out and bitch about how this place has been handled since day fucking one with irregularity and bullshit or the whole hostile takeover and blood feud with Vengeance Pro but the truth of the matter is much more simple than that. The reason for my struggles here?"

He bites at his lip for a moment.

Josh Anderson
"It's entirely on me."

He wipes at the sweat on his brow and runs a quick hand through his short hair.

Josh Anderson
"I'm slowly getting on the right track, I did so tonight against Jessi Idol but I'm not satisfied. I can never be satisfied, I can never rest on my past and what it means... I need to bust my ass like I have never done before if I want to keep up with things here and get back to my previous glory. So I guess this would be my official notice to the roster of Millennium Wrestling... Josh Anderson is on his way back, don't say you weren't fucking warned."

Anderson gives a wide eyed, almost death glare like look to the camera before making his way away from the camera and down the hallway.

The scene cut backstage to Kace Matthews sitting down at a table. He's wearing the fur coat he stole from Julian Savell and on the table is Howard The Umbrella. He has a couple of dinosaur toys and he has a toy wrestling ring that he brought from home with him. He positions the two dinosaurs around before he has the T-Rex hit a bodyslam and pin the velociraptor for the three count.

Kace Matthews
"DING! DING! DING! Here is your winner... KACE ‘THE DINO' MATTHEWS! And the crowd goes wild!"

Millennium interviewer extraordinaire Tillie Morrow soon pops up behind him.

Tillie Morrow
"KACE!"

Kace leaps in the air and grabs the umbrella, clearly he was startled.

Kace Matthews
"GO AWAY KATE STEELE! I AM ARMED!"

He then turns around and sees that it's Tillie and he lets out a sigh of relief.

Kace Matthews
"Oh hey! It's Tillie the Millie Morrow!"

Tillie curls her nose up in disgust.

Tillie Morrow
"Ew! Don't ever call me that again."

Kace frowns.

Kace Matthews
"Oh! Right, sorry. Anyway, what's up?"

Tillie Morrow
"I'm here for an interview, buuut..."

Tillie looks behind Kace and at the ring with the dinosaurs.

Tillie Morrow
"What do you got there?"

Kace steps in front of the ring and shakes his head.

Kace Matthews
"NOTHING! It's top secret information for my match!"

Tillie Morrow
"Riiiight... Speaking of your match, how do you feel your chances are against Kate Steele?"

Kace scoffs and shrugs.

Kace Matthews
"My chances? My chances are great! Kate is a big fat jerk and she's the kind of person that I love to take down. So Kate? She stands no chance against me and she's just lucky she doesn't hold a championship, because I'd probably steal it and give it to the poor and needy! Or I'd just hold onto it until someone deserving won it! But yeah! "

Tillie furrows her brow as she looks at Kace with a confused look.

Tillie Morrow
"Okay... Anyway, good luck out there? "

Kace Matthews
"I don't need luck! I'm a Matthews!"

Kace grabs the umbrella and runs off as Tillie walks up to the wrestling ring that has the toy dinosaurs in it.

Tillie Morrow
"He's really strange to be related to Mr. Matthews. Actually... Mr. Matthews is pretty strange too. Huh."

Tillie shrugs and walks off before the scene fades out.

Handicap Match
Dane Archer VS Erick Vega, Shooter Reed, & Carson Campbell

Quote:

Dane was as focused as ever from the moment the bell rang. Reed started them off, trying to find a way to take the big man down, but Dane was having none of it. Shooter's overconfidence got the better of him, and he went straight in for the legs. Dane casually lifted him, easily getting him into powerbomb position. Jacknife Powerbomb... already? He went for the pin. One... two... Vega made the save, breaking up the pin. Dane growled, shoving him away. Vega soared back, hitting the corner hard. Dane followed up, charging him and driving a brutal boot to Vega's face that sent him tumbling over the top rope to the concrete below.

Shooter crawled desperately to his corner. Dane stepped on Reed's ankle, eliciting a cry of pain from the young star. Dane applied more weight to the ankle as Reed kicked at Dane's leg with his free foot, trying to get Dane to release his step. Finally, Dane grabbed Shooter by the neck, picking him clean off the floor. He lifted Shooter in a military press, carrying him to the ropes and launching him clear over the top, sending him crashing into Erick Vega on the outside. He turned his attention to Carson, standing in the corner. Campbell stepped in, walking straight up to Dane. Dane shoved Carson, sending the smaller man stumbling a couple steps back. The near-seven footer came right back, shoving Dane, who to his surprise, had to take a step back himself to avoid falling over. Not used to such a display of aggression, Dane came right back with a stiff right hand that rocked Campbell, but he wouldn't go down. Dane took a few slow steps to the ropes, using them to build a little momentum before trying to drive his boot to Carson's skull. Carson dropped, pulling down the ring rope. Dane's leg went over the top, crotching himself on the rope. Carson seized the opportunity, hammering away at Archer as he took himself out of the predicament. Carson retreated to his corner to regroup, only for Erick Vega to slap his shoulder, tagging himself in. Carson looked at him in disbelief, knowing he had finally gained the upper hand on Dane. Regardless, the friendly giant returned to the apron as Erick charged Dane... right into a sidewalk slam. Dane quickly lifted Erick back to his feet, putting him in powerbomb predicament. There was the lift... Jackknife powerbomb! Rather than go for the pin, Dane charged the corner, taking Carson and Reed by surprise as he clotheslined the two of them, sending them tumbling to the floor. He turned, going for the pin on Vega. One... two... Carson leaped into the ring to break it up, but was a split second too late as Archer scored the fall.

Winner: Dane Archer
By: Pinfall, 8:16

Carson stands on the outside watching as Dane stands, looking at Reed downed at ringside and Vega out cold on the mat. The two meet eyes, but Dane shakes his head, leaving the ring and heading back up the ramp. Carson watches him for a moment, but decides not to follow. The show cuts backstage.

We cut to the back where "The Beast" Jacob Daniels is seen pacing back and forth in front of a Millenium Wrestling banner. He is already in his ring gear with a black, sleeveless shirt with "BEAST" in red lettering on the front. He suddenly stops his pacing and runs a large hand through his wet hair before giving a focused look to the camera.

Jacob Daniels
"I could spend the time talking about how this is my chance to get some chunk of revenge on Eliza for beating me for the Millennium Championship or how I plan on keeping my streak of beating Laroux's, mainly Xavier, in tact but that's not why I wanted my time here to speak... I have my own agenda to get to first of all."

Daniels rolls his neck slightly, letting out a small sigh before eyeing up the camera once more.

Jacob Daniels
"No, this is me demanding for what I deserve and that is my rematch for the Millennium Championship. Eliza may have beaten me in our first go around but the same will not be said about the second time. I'm going to stand tall on top of the Millennium Wrestling mountain once again."

A slight evil smirk comes to Daniels face before he turns and walks away.

Singles Match
Kace Matthews VS Kate Steele

Quote:

The match between Kate Steele and Kace Matthews with Kate charging Kace but he dodges out of the way and hits the ropes. He comes back and goes for a clothesline of his own but the more experienced Steel was able to duck it and then hit an enziguri. Kace drops to his knees and Kate delivers several kicks to Kace's chest before hitting him with a buzzsaw kick. Steele pins Kace and gets the two count but Matthews is able to kick out. Kate controls the match for a bit more before eventually locking Kace into a headlock. Kace refuses to tap out and manages to get back up to his feet. He shoves Kate off into the ropes and she bounces off of them Kace takes her out with a hurricanrana pin. Matthews gets the two count before Kate kicks out. Matthews hits the top ropes and leaps off, going for his Chi-Town Splash (Frog Splash) but Kate rolls out of the way. Kate decides to hit the top rope and she waits for Kace to stir, it looks like Steele is setting up for Silence is Golden (Top Rope BlockBuster). The fans boo but Kate lifts her finger up to her lips for them to be silent. Kace stumbles to his feet and Kate leaps off but Kace notices her and he hides behind the referee and Kate ends up hitting the referee with the powerful blockbuster instead but she's able to catch Kace with it slightly. Kace and the referee are down and Steele decides to exit the ring and grab a chair. She waits for Kace to stir and when he does, Steele swings the chair but she misses badly. Kace kicks her in the gut and she drops the chair. Kace then nails her with Cloud Gate Driver (Small Package Driver). Matthews pins Steele but the referee is still out. Kace looks around and sees the chair and a smirk rolls across his face. Kace grabs the chair and stalks over Steele. She begins to stir and Kace is about to swing it but he sees the referee getting up, so Kace quickly throws the chair at Kate, who catches it, before he drops down to the canvas. The referee sees Kace down and out and he sees Kate with the chair. Kate begs the referee not to DQ, saying that she did nothing wrong but the referee decides to ring the bell, giving Kace Matthews the win.
Winner: Kace Matthews
By: Disqualification, 12:20

Kate goes to swing the chair down at Kace but he rolls out of the way and out of the ring before walking backwards towards the backstage area as he laughs and starts to slap his knee.

Attention shifted to the tron that Millenium Wrestling Enterprise utilized for the evening within St. Louis's very own Scottrade Center...

Fanatics in the venue locked in on what appeared to be a camera feed zoomed in on an oversized, bedazzled, and downright kinky paddle. A mixed reaction began to sweep throughout the venue.

Zelda Gibbons
"Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey!"

Slowly, the camera crew worked to zoom-out of the paddle to reveal a pink haired Gibbons standing on the roof of the arena!

Zelda Gibbons
"Ain't it just great to have Daddy home again??....I mean I'll answer that...Of course it is! And she's got some reaaaaalllly things to tell every person who paid to see this show tonight!"

She paused briefly raising the paddle up to the camera. She pointed towards a glittery arrow which pointed upwards on the aforementioned tool.

Zelda Gibbons
"The theme of the day is....upward motion. Yeah it might sound like I'm making no sense right now BUT. BUT. BUUUUTTTT....It makes a whole lot of sense. Because listen, you all know that I've not been where I should be in my career for most of this year. There've been rough patches, betrayals, and what seemed like a never ending cycle of....shit."

With a shrug, Zelda let out a giggle.

Zelda Gibbons
"Yup, shit's the only real word I have to describe how things have been since January. I'm not wordy or book smart like a lot of my co-workers....But regardless of that I feel that upward motion lifting me away from the shit. Away from the grime. Away from friends who stab me in the back. Away from my talents being under-appreciated!"

Zelda Gibbons
"Millennium's gave me that boost I need because they know I have champion written all over me. They know that Daddy'll take off the belt WHENEVER she needs to!"

Slapping the paddle on her palm...Zelda's eerie smile grew wider.

Zelda Gibbons
"That's why I am so looking forward to slapping the championship credentials right out of Jennifer Yang! Once I beat her?....I can pick those credentials up for myself. That's DADDY's Fortnite loot! You hear me, Astyn!?"

Zelda borderline screamed - eying her paddle....that she apparently named.

Zelda Gibbons
"Good boy."

Gibbons began to caress her paddle with affection as the tape abruptly fizzled out.

Kace Matthews is walking around backstage with a giant grin on his face as he had just won his match against Kate Steele. As he passes by random personnel backstage, Kace makes sure that they know he won his match.

Kace Matthews
"Hey! Hotdog maker guy! I won my match! Did you see it? It was a TOTAL classic!"

The man serving hotdogs nods as Kace looks down at a hotdog and back up at the worker.

Kace Matthews
"So, uh... My cousin kind of owns this place. You should give me a hot dog... For free."

Hotdog Guy
"No can do, Mr. Matthews specifically told all of us to not give any free food to any of the wrestlers, especially Kace Matthews."

Kace's jaw drops in shock.

Kace Matthews
"Huh!? What? No free food!? But... I'M A MATTHEWS!"

Kace sighs and rolls his eyes when he sees Chuck Matthews, his cousin and Millennium Owner, strolling down the hall.

Kace Matthews
"Chuck!! This guy won't give me a free hot dog! And did you see my match!?"

Chuck's eyes widen slightly as he turns around and starts to hum to himself while walking the other direction, acting as if he didn't hear a word Kace said.

Kace Matthews
Hey! Chuck! Chuck? What the hell?!

Kace starts to run down the hall and Chuck speeds up before turning the corner. When Kace makes it to the corner, Chuck is suddenly gone.

Kace Matthews
"What kind of witchcraft is this? Where did Chuck go? Uh!!!"

Kace walks over shaking his head before the scene fades out.

No Disqualifications
Brett Carson VS Sephora Eastwick

Quote:

The match started off very much like their previous encounter: Brett Carson was on the attack, going right after Sephora, clearly wanting to prove that last week's countout loss was nothing more than a fluke. Sephora wasn't going down easy, though. Her smaller size and her fast hands made her difficult for Carson to keep up with, and now that Sephora wasn't plagued with injuries from Manifest Destiny, her performance against the Cyborg looked stronger than ever.

That is, until Carson leveled her with a shoulder block that drove the air out of Eastwick and left her grounded a moment. From there, Carson managed to gain the upper hand, scoring a few near falls as he kept Eastwick grounded where he could control the match.

As the bout carried on, Sephora was tiring, but Brett Carson seemed to have boundless energy. Sephora did her best to escape the ring, knowing if she could get her hands on a weapon, she could topple Carson's methodical assault. Brett lifted her to her feet, and Sephora took her opportunity. She drove a thumb into Carson's eye, forcing him to retreat in paid. Sephora slide from the ring, nearly diving beneath the apron in search of a weapon. She found what she was after: An aluminum baseball bat. She smirked, sliding back into the ring as Carson shook the pain from his eyes. He turned to face Sephora, and-

THUD

Sephora slumped to the mat! Behind her, the monstrous Dane Archer stood after a horrifying signature boot to the back of Sephora's head. He nodded to Carson before leaving the ring. Carson quickly dropped down, going for a pin.

Winner: Brett Carson
By: Pinfall, 15:41

Brett celebrated in the ring as Sephora slowly stirred. She rolled onto her side, spotting Dane's smile as he retreated up the ramp. Sephora seethed, mouthing obscenities at Dane Archer. A final shot showed Carson's celebration before the scene cut to the back.

The second episode of Millennium had started already when we cut to a segment showing the parking lot of the Scottrade Center in St Louis, Missouri. Three men, easily recognizable as Grace's security stepped out of it and scattered in three different directions, checking the surroundings for potential threats. A couple of minutes later, they all came back, giving the green light for GVB and the last member of their team to step out.

As they finally reached the arena, she told one of them, named John, to find Tillie Morrow and tell her that, due to unforeseen circumstances, she finds herself forced to take a rain check and reschedule it for next week.

The three remaining men kept walking next to her, their attentive eyes scanning all around. The Diamond Princess on the other hand kept talking about how she felt disrespected by Eliza and Xavier, but this wasn't a surprise. She was used to be overlooked, they certainly weren't the first ones to look at her and seeing a spoiled little brat- But eventually they learned it on their skin.

She took some time to talk about her partner for the night, Jacob Daniels. And those weren't lind words. She said that he was bigger than he was smarter. Thankfully though, brute force was exactly what she needed in order to win tonight.

She stopped in front of her locker room door, offering her usual confident smile to the camera. She had one last message for Xavier Laroux. She told him to stop fooling himself that he made a smart decision when he showed up during the number one contender match, The truth was that his destiny was already written since the moment Grace van Beek stepped into the ring.

GRACE VAN BEEK
"I'm going to take that title from you, Xavier..

You may be skilled, but I am one cut above."

After her words, the camera cut to the next segment.

The show returned to the ring, where Julian Savell stood, looking frustrated. He complained loudly that since taking over, Chuck Matthews had done nothing but disrespect the best wrestler he had in Julian Savell. He pointed out that he had single-handedly defeated 2MF1 at Manifest Destiny, and yet despite that, it was Grace van Been and Jenni Yang who competed last week for a chance at the Cloud Gate Championship while he was delegated to a meaningless battle royal. Chuck emerged, cutting Julian off. He reminded Julian that once he took over, Jay Halich's system of doing things had gone out the window: Millennium was a clean slate and if members of the roster wanted something, they would need to earn it.

Julian did not take kindly to that, demanding that Chuck give him an opponent, right there, tonight, or he would take his name, his brand, and his talents to a company that would respect the asset they had. Chuck seemed unfazed by this, but agreed to Julian's demands.

Chuck Matthews
"You want the best, Mr. Savell, and fortunately, I've gone and found you the best. As it so happens, we have a brand new signing here tonight who's been dying to step into a Millennium ring. Please allow me to introduce your opponent for tonight...."

The audience fell silent as Chuck stepped aside. "Till I Collapse" by Eminem comes through the speakers and some of the older fans in the crowd erupted as from the back walked... West McFadden! West paused at the top of the stage, offering a handshake to the new boss, which Chuck graciously accepted. With a charming smile and a wave to the St. Louis fans, McFadden made his way down the ramp as Julian seethed, chomping at the bit to get his hands on the new member of Millennium.

Singles Match
Julian Savell VS West McFadden

Quote:

Julian didn't wait for the bell to ring. As soon as West began to climb into the ring, Savell was on top of him, driving fists and elbows on the former world champion. The referee pulled Julian away, giving McFadden a chance to enter the ring fully. The bell sounded, officially beginning the contest. As Julian stormed in to continue his assault, West proved his mettle as a skilled striker, nailing Julian with a flurry of expert punches. Savell managed to get his hands up to absorb the blows, but nothing rattled McFadden. Instead, he transitioned seamlessly into a jiu jitsu stance, grappling Savell and taking him down with a beautiful throw. On the mat, West applied an armbar that Savell struggled to break free from. His close proximity to the ring ropes saved him, and Julian was able to get a foot on the rope. McFadden rolled off him instantly, refusing to utilize any of the five-count.

Savell slammed his fists on the mat, clearly frustrated that West was getting the better of him. In desperation, he charged McFadden, swinging wildly, firing kicks, elbows, fists, anything that might possibly hit the ring veteran. West, in a show of confidence, bobbed and weaved and dodged each blow, going so far as to fold his hands behind his back, smiling smugly as Julian missed shot after shot, which seemed only to enrage him further. He shot in for a tackle. McFadden had the move well scouted, however, and threw Julian off with a well-timed elbow to the back of the neck as Julian darted in for the legs. West tossed Julian to the ground. Savell immediately scrambled to his feet and charged West. McFadden stepped back, the fired off a superkick... connects! Julian hit the mat hard, his brain rattled by the kick. McFadden wasted little time, seizing Julian's leg and twisting him around in his signature single-leg Boston crab. High Roller locked in! Julian groaned in pain, reaching for the ropes, just barely out of reach. West cranked on the leg, putting further strain on Savell's back until he was finally forced to tap out.

Winner: West McFadden
By: Submission, 7:13

The crowd erupted as the referee called for the bell. McFadden bowed slightly to the crowd, forgoing the typical victory celebrations. Instead, he offered a small smile and a polite wave before making his way to the back, leaving Julian sitting in the ring, fuming that he had been made a fool of.

Backstage at the arena, Eliza Valentine and Xavier Laroux sit beside one another in comfortable looking chairs, off to the left of them is millennium interviewer Tillie Morrow, dressed in a pretty black dress she's obviously excited for her first interview. Eliza is dressed in a pair of black torn up jeans and a "Your Favorite Drug" T-Shirt, her long hair pulled back from her face as she looks almost expressionless over at the young interviewer.

For all the expression Eliza's features lacked, Laroux's made up for in spades. That smirk plastered across his face beamed arrogance. Slumped back in that chair, his arms draped up over the back rest of it, Laroux sat nonchant as he was decked out in a form fitting white tank top and a pair of black gym shorts, opting for a bit of comfort going into the interview.

Tillie smiles nervously at the pair before pulling up a tablet and resting it on her lap, clearing her throat before speaking.

Tillie Morrow
Thank you both for joining me tonight, I know there's a lot to talk about so I'm just going to jump right into it... Firstly, tonight you'll both be teaming with each other for the first time, how do you feel about that heading into this match?

Xavier Laroux
Look at that woman sittin right there.

Laroux pointed over at Eliza for emphasis.

Xavier Laroux
She's the Millennium Champion. All personal feelins aside, that alone makes her a better partner than anyone else in this company. Less I can team with myself, of course.

A slight shrug of his shoulders as he laughed out.

Xavier Laroux
She's got everythin a guy like me could look for in a partner. She's aggressive. Volatile. Not to mention she's fuckin just..

Xavier bit down onto his lower lip, looking over at Eliza before shaking his head.

Xavier Laroux
..yeahhh~

Eliza chuckles softly and shakes her head, her gaze running over him for a moment before she looks to Tillie.

Eliza Valentine
Naturally, looking across the ring at our competitors, it's hard to imagine being even slightly concerned when it comes to teamwork, Jacob and Grace have shown over and over again they're incapable of even so much as getting along over a twitter handle...

Eliza smirks slightly and rolls her eyes.

Eliza Valentine
Not to mention our obvious, hmm... Chemistry, I couldn't possibly think of or ask for a better partner.

Tillie smiles at the responses and looks down for her next question.

Tillie Morrow
Oh and speaking of Jacob Daniels, you both have experience being in the ring with him, but in very different ways... Xavier, how do you feel to be going up against him once again, considering your history?

Xavier Laroux
Well..

He couldn't help but to shrug a bit.

Xavier Laroux
It's been quite a while since me and Jake last threw down like that. Shit happens. I'm not gonna make excuses. Fact is: I'm on a hell of a roll and shit that happened yesterday, last year, whatever, ain't gonna mean shit in this Tag Team Match. And like Liza said. They're arguin over some stupid shit.

Shaking his head, Laroux feigned a look of disappointment.

Xavier Laroux
Plus my second favorite JD is inherently sweaty so Grace's disabled ass prolly ain't even gonna wanna tag'em, y'know?

Eliza scoffs with a short laugh and shakes her head.

Tillie Morrow
Since you mentioned it, how do you think Grace will fare in this match, what with your taunts of Bri going dirt and all kinds of other things to the ring in order to distract and disgust her?

Eliza sits forward slightly and looks Tillie over with a bored sigh.

Eliza Valentine
Don't you wonder how she copes, in general day to day life? Let alone being a wrestler, honestly I think the poor thing does it for attention... Mummy and adaddy told her she was something special and she's doing whatever she can to try and prove it.

Xavier Laroux
It's gotta be hell for olegirl. I mean, do you know how many people don't wash their hands after they take a piss? It's fuckin staggerin. That's gotta just eat at her mind. All the fuckin flu germs and shit in the air. Goddamn that's gotta be tough.

Shaking his head, Laroux sighed out with exasperation.

Xavier Laroux
Whatta crock of shit, amirite?

Tillie looks a little shocked at the pairs attitude, shaking her head she looks down to her tablet for another question.

Tillie Morrow
Okay, um... Eliza you have been continuing to grow from strength to strength during your time in Pride and now, Millennium and with Xavier not only picking up momentum but also being a champion as well, it would be fair to assume you may be on a collision course with one another, how do you feel about that?

Xavier Laroux
Holup for a minute.

Laroux looked at Tillie with a tilt of the head.

Xavier Laroux
We both got a solid ass line of contenders ready to step up just to get knocked back down. Why would we try to go after what the other got?

Confusion showed on the face of Xavier.

Xavier Laroux
That's just greedy. And as Liza will vouch, Ima very givin person.

He shot a wink over at Eliza after that comment, his smirk growing. Despite herself, Eliza smiles, shaking her head she turns her attention back to Tillie.

Eliza Valentine
The simple fact is, whilst we are likely one another's only true competition, it would be foolish and short sighted to target what the other has, why focus on the glory of one when we can simply run the place side by side?

Tillie nods slightly, her cheeks are flushed bright red after Xavier's comment and she's clearly thrown, as tries to stammer her way through her next question, Eliza cuts her off.

Eliza Valentine
Enough with the questions, all you need to know is tonight, we will remind everyone exactly why we are a force to be reckoned with, no showboating and no dramatics, we will make an example out of these so called contenders and LOVE every second of it.

Xavier Laroux
She's absolutely fuckin right. What we do out there? That's gonna speak better than anythin I ever could think bout sayin. We gonna take a Beast and a fuckin mental patient and show them exactly why we stand where we stand. We're champions for a reason. What we do to Jacob and Grace? That's gonna be why we're champions.

Turning his attention back towards Eliza, he smirked broadly, nodding his head.

Xavier Laroux
"Let's go get a lilbit more..preparation in right quick."

Singles Match
Jennifer Yang VS Zelda Gibbons

Quote:

Jennifer and Zelda, in the co-main event of the evening, hardly had time to get their highly anticipated match underway. From the moment the two locked up, Luke Jackson began his long walk down the ramp, looking as focused as ever. As the commentators were quick to point out, Zelda had some choice words for Luke following the battle royal on the inaugural Millennium, and now it seemed that Jackson had taken exception. Luke hit the ring quick, tackling Zelda from the side. The two brawled in the ring, resulting in a quick disqualification.

Winner: Zelda Gibbons
By: Disqualification, 1:20

Chuck's personal security charges the ring, brandishing their police batons, pulling the two apart. On the stage, the general manager emerges, watching the scene unfold. Luke attempts to break free of security, swinging his powerful backfists to try and knock them away, but even his brutal blows can't punch through the stiff body armor of Millennium's security force. On the opposite side of the ring, Zelda dives, thrashing about until the guards use their batons to hold her in place, restraining her. She swings madly, her fists bouncing harmlessly off the vests and helmets of Chuck's guards. As more guards hit the ring, Zelda and Luke find themselves hopelessly outnumbered, and their resistance ceases as they're held in place. Chuck twirls a microphone casually, tapping it thoughtfully against his chin.

Chuck Matthews
Are you two quite finished?

Luke snarls at Matthews. Zelda glares daggers through her opponent. Chuck smiles.

Chuck Matthews
I will not have my matches devolve into chaos. That's not how we do things around here. That's not what Millennium is about.

He looks from Jackson to Gibbons.

Chuck Matthews
Now it seems that you two have some unfinished business to handle with each other, and as fate may have it, I have a problem of my own, and I think we may all be able to help each other out. Does that sound good to you?

Neither of them say a word, opting instead to focus on Chuck's calm expression. Millennium's owner paces slowly in front of the two. Luke gives a futile jerk of his shoulder, but security is quick to pull him back into place.

Chuck Matthews
On April 28th, we'll be heading into our first big event under the Millennium brand... Fallout. Now... last week, Grace van Beek earned her right to fight for Mr. Laroux's Cloud Gate Championship. Mr. Daniels has invoked his rematch clause for the Millennium Championship, and I'm inclined to give it to him... so Eliza Valentine will be defending her belt as well.

He looks at his hand, holding up three fingers, not two.

Chuck Matthews
Ah. The Television Title. No longer with us... so I think we'll require a suitable replacement, hm?

He pauses in his pacing, looking at the two competitors before him.

Chuck Matthews
Mr. Jackson, you won the battle royal last week and if we're being perfectly honest here, you've been on quite the hot streak lately.

He turns to Zelda.

Chuck Matthews
Your performance in last week's match did not go unnoticed. You, too, have been doing very well as of late. Now... I will not condone your behavior, nor will I pretend I'm okay with you interfering in my matches... but I can't deny either of your ability.

He frowns for a moment.

Chuck Matthews
At Fallout, I'm going to give the two of you an opportunity to sort yourselves out. It will be Luke Jackson against Zelda Gibbons in a match that I will decide for myself. And, yes, it will be for the new championship, which I will reveal to the world in due time.

The crowd cheers. Luke and Zelda look pleased.

Chuck Matthews
However...

The cheers die down. Luke and Zelda return their attention to Matthews.

Chuck Matthews
Should EITHER of you touch each other between now and April 28th... I will remove you from the match, I will replace you, and I will personally see to it that you do not receive a championship opportunity for the next three months. Are we clear?

Neither of them acknowledge or agree to what he says; regardless, he seems satisfied with this reaction, and claps his hands jovially.

Chuck Matthews
Splendid. You may release them.

He nods to the guards, who relinquish their hold. Zelda and Luke stare each other down. Luke's arm twitches, and Zelda's eyes dart to his fist. Neither makes a move against the other, though, and Luke is the first to leave the scene, leaving Zelda and Chuck standing in the ring as the show cuts backstage.

The scene cut to a room that was clearly inside of a home. The room had an array of trophies and ribbons and pins that said, ‘first place' on them. Soon enough, Megan Rydell stepped into view as she looked at the shelves that were full of awards. Megan looked it up and down and kept her eyes there as she began to speak.

Megan Rydell
All of it... It doesn't fucking matter. I was a straight A student, I was a track star, volleyball star.. Anything you could think of, I fucking did it but guess what? I don't give a shit about any of it.

Megan starts to grab trophies off of the shelves one by one and throw them into a steel trash can as she slowly walks past them.

Megan Rydell
People say that trophies and championships don't matter and I agree. None of THESE matters. Everything I've done up until now? It doesn't matter.

Megan keeps on knocking down everything from the shelves into the trash can until she's finished and then she finally turns and faces the camera.

Megan Rydell
It doesn't matter because none of it is what I want... None of it is the Millennium Championship. I know I lost to Eliza, but I want another shot, I NEED another shot and you know what? I deserve another shot.

Megan pauses and keeps her focus on the camera.

Megan Rydell
Why? Because there isn't anyone else on this roster who can stack up to Eliza Valentine like I can. Erron Wilder? Julian Savell? Jacob Daniels?! All of them are fucking trash. But me? I'm the present, I'm the future and I'm the ONLY one who can hang with Eliza. So, what are you going to do, Chuck? Are you going to give it to someone who deserves it? Or are you going to give it to someone who wants it more than anything in their life? Are you going to give it to someone who doesn't give a fuck about anything they've done because none of it matters unless they're your Millennium Champion? Because that's me. I'm going to give you the championship match that you and Eliza want.

Megan walks off and grabs some lighter fluid and she starts to pour it into the trash can where the trophies and prizes that Megan has won over her life. Megan then pulls out a pack of matches and lights one up on the first try before holding it up over the trash can.

Megan Rydell
I set fire to the past. My past, and soon enough? I'll set ablaze everything that stands in my way, you just need to give me a chance, Chuck. Give me Eliza... Give me the Millenium Championship and I can promise you one thing... It's going to be fire.

Megan drops the match into the trash can and the contents inside set on fire. Megan's eyes lift up towards the camera and the flames reflect off of her eyes as she glares into the camera before the scene cuts away.

Tag Team Match
Eliza Valentine (c) & Xavier Laroux (c) VS Jacob Daniels & Grace Van Beek

Quote:

The main event was underway, and it was Eliza Valentine kicking off the match against the new number one contender to her title: Jacob Daniels. Daniels seemed wary since their most recent encounter. Rather than tie up, he edged along the outside of the ring, knowing how dangerous and slippery Eliza could be if engaged at close range. He sent a punch out as a test. Eliza weaved past it, sending a kick of her own. Jacob anticipated it, sidestepping the shot and stepping forward with a hard shoulder that took the Millennium Champion off her feet. Eliza scrambled to a standing position.

The two battled across the ring, Eliza using her speed and agility to, just as their first encounter, gain the upper hand against the brutally powerful Daniels. Eliza leaped to the top rope, springboarding and looking for a missile dropkick. She caught Jacob in the chest, but the big man wouldn't go down. She went for it again. On the apron, grace shook the ropes just enough to throw the champion off balance. Eliza misstepped on the jump, and Jacob ducked beneath her, catching her on his shoulder. She writhed, trying to get free. Jacob charged, driving her into the cornerpost and powerslamming her to the mat. He went for a count. One... two... kickout at two. Jacob tagged in Grace. Van Beek went right on the attack before Eliza could get to her feet. She went right after the knee, looking to lock in the Goldbar. Eliza kicked her away, scrambling to the corner and tagging in Xavier.

Laroux stepped between the ropes, eying his challenger. The two circled each other before tying up. The champion got the upper hand, pulling Grace into a side headlock. Grace shoved him away, grabbing his wrist though to pull him back toward her. She drove a knee to his gut and followed up with a floating DDT before going for a quick cover. Kickout at one.

Grace showed off her technical prowess, doing her best to keep Xavier down and take away his brawling ability. Once back on his feet, though, Xavier succeeded in keeping Grace at a distance, knowing if she locked in her Goldbar, it may be over. At ringside, Grace had a couple of her guards keeping a close eye on the contest in case anything should happen to van Beek after the bout. She reached out, pulling Xavier in for a takedown. Laroux blocks it, instead sending Grace to the ropes. She bounces off into a rolling elbow that takes her down.

This time it was Laroux showing off his ability, reminding the world why he was the Cloud Gate Champion as he rained a flurry of offense on the downed van Beek. She grasped desperately at the ropes, and the referee stepped in, calling for the break. Xavier refused to let up, causing the referee to count. Outside the ring, Grace's guards stood, ready to move in if Xavier got himself disqualified. Commentary noted his aggression, with Jared noting that with Grace challenging him in three weeks, Xavier may simply take the disqualification to soften van Beek up a bit. The guards moved to ringside as the referee counted four. Xavier rolled off Grace, holding up his hands. The match was still on.

Grace used the ropes to pull herself up. Xavier charged her. She dropped down, using his momentum to lift him and drop his gut across the top rope. His thighs hit the rope, causing him to flip out of the ring to the outside, landing painfully on his shoulder just in front of the guards. The guards take a step towards him, in spite of the referee's objections, forcing Eliza to take action. She hops down from the apron, storming over to the guards to protect Xavier from any sneaking attacks. The referee begins the count for Xavier. One... two... three... Eliza tries to get Xavier to his feet, Laroux clutching his arm. Four... five... six... Eliza manages to get the Cloud Gate champion to his feet. Inside the ring, Grace measures the two champions up. She races to the ropes, leaping through them in a suicide dive. Xavier moves at exactly the last second, but Eliza takes the full force of the attack the two competitors crashing to the barricade. Seven... eight... Xavier slides into the ring, smiling to himself that he beat the count. Grace and Eliza remain on the outside, both trying to get back to their feet after their collision with the unforgiving barricade. Xavier looks expectantly at the referee, waiting for the countout. Behind him, Jacob Daniels grabs his shoulder, turning him around. Before Xavier can react, Jacob Daniels drops him with the Bombs Away! He goes for the pin. One... two... Eliza can't get back into the ring in time to break up the count!

Winner: Jacob Daniels
By: Pinfall, 18:26

The commentators praise Grace's quick thinking as the instant replay shows Grace tagging Jacob in while Eliza is preoccupied with the guards and Xavier, then going for her suicide dive to the outside. As the show cuts back to the live feed, Grace's guards have swarmed around her, protecting Grace from Eliza's wrath. She stares up at Jacob, who taps the side of his head smartly. He motions the title around his waist as Xavier slowly rolls from the ring, clearly battered from the match. The ringside crew hands the Millennium and Cloud Gate Championships to their respective owners. The show ends to Jacob Daniels, standing triumphantly on the turnbuckle, pointing at the Millennium Championship as the screen goes black.
