Exclusive Sit Down Interview
Vengeance Pro Wrestling Owner Sage Morgan
With April Montana

April Montana: Okay, I feel like I should probably pinch myself because I'm sitting here in this amazing room, with this boss a-...THE boss lady herself, Sage Morgan!

The camera pans out to show Sage sitting opposite April.

April Montana: Thanks for not only hiring me, but for sitting down with me today. How are you doing?

Sage smiles softly, it’s not a warm smile, more one of absolutely professionalism as she leans back in her seat.

Sage Morgan: I’m looking forward to getting things around here back in shape, we seem to have veered of course these past few weeks.

April Montana: Well before we move on, can we talk about the last few weeks? The course may have been rough, and riddled with speed bumps, but Vengeance took on Pride, well, the former Pride, current Millennium, and Vengeance won. What sense of Pride did that give you?

April winks after her obvious pun.

Sage Morgan: We barely won and Mr. Matthews escaped with exactly what he wanted, whilst I am very proud of my roster and what they have achieved... I wouldn’t say we’re out of the woods just yet.

April Montana: Would you care to elaborate a little more on that? Fans of Vengeance saw you guys announced as the winners when the dust settled. What do you mean by saying we aren't out of the woods just yet?

Sage Morgan: I mean exactly what I said, Vengeance has some changes to make. I am here to make them.

April Montana: Fair enough.

April relaxes a bit and looks straight ahead at Sage.

April Montana: What sort of changes are being implemented to Vengeance? Please don't say anything about catering because I was in donut heaven at the last show!

April playfully licks her fingers.

April Montana: I may have had one before this interview too.

The comments were to make the boss laugh, but Sage maintained a focus.

April Montana: Sorry. Those changes?

Sage Morgan: The tournament, the hardcore division, the introduction of the ShoGun championship, these are things designed to usher us into the new future for VPW.

Sage smiles softly and folds her hands in her lap.

Sage Morgan: Everything I have planned is for and to the benefit of the fans and my employees.

April Montana: You guys heard it here first. This is a boss who focuses on the consumer and her employees. I love it.

April folds her hands into her lap, similarly to how Sage did moments ago.

April Montana: Okay, now let's talk about a bit of controversy from the last show. Aiden Morrow. When did you sign him? Did you know he was going to do what he did? Of course I'm speaking about him attacking Melissa Reeves after her hard fought, fatal four-way elimination match where she retained her Undisputed championship.

Sage sighs.

Sage Morgan: I signed Mr. Morrow as he is an asset to every and any company he works for, he has been a champion, he has beaten some of the biggest names in the industry today and, he has done what Miss. Reeves could not, he has beaten Miss. Valentine one on one, so who better to challenge her?

As for whether or not I knew he would attack her, of course not. I was merely bringing in someone to compete against Melissa, as she deserves to be challenged and competing at the highest level at all times, I do, in fact, welcome anyone to come over and challenge her.

April Montana: But that's where the controversy really kicks in. I've heard rumblings that many are unhappy that someone like Aiden can come in, attack the champion, and POSSIBLY earn a shot at her championship, without actually earning it.

April sighs nervously.

April Montana: I hate to put you on the spot, but that's what I do in my interviews. So, can you confirm, is Aiden Morrow in line for a championship match against Melissa Reeves?

Sage Morgan: Did I not just say I welcome anyone to challenge Melissa? Aiden thus far is the only one to step up, it’s odd isn’t it, that all these rumblings are silent when I enter the locker room. Hmmm.

April Montana: I'm sorry boss lady, but I can't let you dance around the question.

April sits up straight, her face red as she continues.

April Montana: Will Aiden Morrow be next in line to compete against Melissa Reeves for her Undisputed championship?

Sage leans in close and drops her tone to something very stern.

Sage Morgan: I’m not going to repeat myself, so I suggest you move on to your next question.

April looks down and freezes up for a few moments.

April Montana: I. Of course.

April looks back up but avoids eye contact for the moment.

April Montana: Sorry, kind of threw me off there. Is there anything else you wanted to share with the fans?

Sage shakes her head slowly.

Sage Morgan: No. is that all the questions you have prepared?

April Montana: The basis of my three interviews today was to get to the bottom of the personal turned business feud between Aiden and Melissa. You don't seem too welcoming of the topic or the questions.

April reaches out to the small table next to her and picks up a glass of water and takes a small drink before sitting it back down.

Sage rolls her eyes.

Sage Morgan: You were handed the opportunity to meet with me and the only questions you prepared were in regard to a single personal drama? April, I expected more from you honestly, perhaps Mateo made a mistake, hmm?

April Montana: No, ma'am. I'm sorry.

April looks down again but continues asking questions.

April Montana: Vengeance has been one of the most talked about territories in the CWC, but it hasn't been without it's share of controversy. From Aiden Morrow, to Cass Baumer, do you feel like building a company starts with controversy? Getting people to talk?

Sage Morgan: Controversy sells, but there is a line. As people witnessed during Cass’ most recent melt down, I will not stand for people making the company look bad, Cass was transferred to another company as she was no longer a fit for VPW, just as people leave us as a company, we can leave them as well.

April Montana: That's actually a really elegant way of putting it. I've never thought of it like that.

April visually relaxes a bit now that the heat has been turned down.

April Montana: Okay, this should be an interesting one. Let's say you could sign ANY wrestler in the world to a contract. You get them for one year. Who would it be, and why?

Sage smiles slightly and shakes her head.

Sage Morgan: Well now, that’s a dangerous question isn’t it? After all, egos abound in the industry will always see people angry or disheartened. But I would have to say the best I can offer you is a top three... Josh Kennedy, Cosmo Cooper and Katz Bonham would sit atop that list for me.

You can argue there are more decorated wrestlers out there, veterans and young guns alike, but those three competitors bring their absolute all every single time they compete and I have never, not once, witnessed a match from any of them that I was disappointed in.

April smiles at the camera.

April Montana: Maybe I can charm them into Venegeance, yeah?

She looks back at Sage and smiles.

April Montana: Maybe they will see this interview and contact you, we'll see. But I have one final question for you.

April takes on a more nervous appearance again.

April Montana: If Aiden Morrow officially challenges Melissa Reeves to a match, for her championship, will you sign off on it?

Rewording her previous questions, Montana now once again looks into Morgan's eyes.

Sage smiles and waves away the camera, holding out her hand for April to shake it.

Sage Morgan: Welcome to the company April, you’re going to fit in just fine.

April looks confused but shakes her hand.

April Montana: Thanks? I didn't get my answer though. The fans would like an answer, Ms.Morgan.

Sage stands up and unhooks the mic, dropping it down on the seat she signals for the camera to cut, letting April know the interview is over

ShoGun Championship Unification.

Sage Morgan welcomed Logan MacLeod to the ring, who at the time was still arching both of his championships, Sage commented on how Logan had continued to VPW proud throughout the invasion and had proved himself a champion in defeating Dane Archer. Sage went on to explain that carrying around two championships didn’t seem fitting and that, since one of those technically belonged to the now defunct, PRIDE, she has made an executive division.

Sage reveals to Logan and everyone else a new championship, the ShoGun Championship, she explains this is a championship to be shared with millennium and that technically, anyone from either company can challenge for that belt. She commends Logan and confirms she has no doubts that he will carry the championship with pride.

She goes on to explain that his first defense must be against an opponent in Millennium, but in the meantime, she has devised a plan to find him the most worthy opponent possible from Vengeance, because she knows he will defeat anyone Chuck Matthews throws at him and will bring the championship home.

Exclusive Sit Down Interview
Gold Rush Champion Tadgh Murphy
With Neala

Backstage the camera’s focus on our beloved Goldrush Champion and his rumored new “valet,” Neala Connolly. The two seem to be right at home with one another as they make out for a few moments while the camera’s roll before the soft bark of a puppy causes Neala to separate from him and retrieve from her purse their new dog, Sebastian, a white ball of adorable fluff that everyone should want to love on. You shouldn’t try it though because, well, Neala will likely stab you in the throat or taze you with something.

Tadgh Murphy
Oi, love. Put the fuckin dog away, yeah?

A momentary scowl furrows Neala’s brow as she shakes her head no.

Neala Connolly
He’s part of the family too, Tadgh, and I say he stays.

Scowling back at her Tadgh decides he doesn’t want to have this fight now and ends up shrugging and shifting the weight of the Goldrush Championship, which had been draped over his shoulder, onto his lap.

Tadgh Murphy
I was told this interview is basically to introduce my new valet since, predictably, Paz Callaghan decided not to uphold her end of our arrangement and disappeared as quickly as she could manage. So here she is, ladies and gentlemen, the loveliest woman in the world, Sentinel Wrestling Alliances ow-

Tapping Tadgh on the shoulder, Neala leans close to him and whispers something into his ear.

Tadgh Murphy
Really? It did? No one told me. Fucks sake I guess I should have actually paid attention to what was happening last night, eh? My lovely valet has informed me that Sentinel Wrestling Alliance is closed now. Bummer, that. Shite was easy money. Well let me introduce her this way. My new valet, my IMPROVED valet, the undefeated Neala Connolly.

His words must have effected her because she stifles a sniffle and brings her hand up to her lips, waving her other hand in an effort to fan her as tears begin to well up in her eyes.

Tadgh Murphy
Uhhh….. Love?

Using her hand that had been fanning herself she holds up her index finger and presses it right to Tadgh’s lips, silencing him.

Neala Connolly
That was the NICEST thing you’ve ever said about me. I can’t wait to marry you!

Her mickey mouse ears wobble as her head shakes with emotion. Tadgh, on the other hand, looks a bit uneasy at the thought of marriage. They’ve had plenty of fights about that, after all. But seeing as they’re on television and not just on twitter he decides to roll with it.

Tadgh Murphy
I’m just happy to have ya at my side, love. Already you’ve done more than Paz ever did. Now, I can understand why Paz had such a tough time holding up her end of our arrangement. She lost her title to me fair and square and then had to escort the man she lost to down to the ring every single week. Of course it was never going to work. Hopefully she learned her lesson and will never make that same mistake again. I’ll expect a thank you in the future.

Neala Connolly
That dumb slut better not ever speak to you again, Tadgh. I swear to fucking God I’ll murder her in the street.

Shooting her a glance he subtly rolls his eyes and quickly receives a hard jab to the ribs from her elbow that causes him to hold up his hands defensively. Thankfully, Neala seems to get distracted by the puppy and getting “kisses” from him, so Tadgh is able to progress with the segment.

Tadgh Murphy
Here’s the thing. I know this Laird lad is out there talking about my championship. He’s out there challenging me or whatever. But my question is who the fuck is Laird St. John? What gives him any right to challenge for my title? What gives him any right to try and come for what’s mine? That’s what people said about me when Sage decided to give me an opportunity to challenge for the CWC United States championship. Everyone said I was too new. That I hadn’t earned it. Where well the fuck are all those naysayers now with this cunt? I at least proved myself. I gave Kaelan Laughlin the fight of her life. I hit her so hard she went back to subtweeting my brother and cucking her husband.

While still receiving kisses from the puppy, Neala reaches over and pats Tadgh on the leg reassuringly. Of course her hand lingers for a moment and slides up his thigh, squeezing right at the bulge which causes him to jump and clear his throat before continuing on.

Tadgh Murphy
Now, I don’t have a problem defending this title against anyone and everyone. That’s fine. It is what it is. But I’ve already racked up a number of defenses of this belt. And I’ll continue to do so. If Laird happens to be one of those challengers then so be it. But you know what I see right now? I see an undeserving cunt. I see someone who wants to skip to the front of the line. Who is out here clamoring and issuing challenges. Well fuck your challenge, Laird. I didn’t have to go asking for championship opportunities. I earned them. Week in and week out I’ve given my blood, sweat and tears to this company and I’ll be damned if you’re just going to walk in here and act like a shot at my Goldrush championship is just something that you should be expected to be given. You want a shot at this title? Earn it. Until then, I’ve got better shite to do.

Still not moving her hand, Neala gives him another squeeze and this one causes Tadgh to grit his teeth and groan just to keep as much focus as he can.

Tadgh Murphy
Fuck’s sake, Neala. Just one sec---uhhh…. Alright. Interviews over. Turn those camera’s off, fuckin animals. This isn’t The Fappening: Vengeance Pro edition.

Standing up from the place where he had been seated, Tadgh quickly ushers the camera crew out of the room before turning back to his “Ariel” as the interview abruptly comes to a close.

Exclusive Sit Down Interview
Tyberius King
With Tessa Swee

Tessa Sweet, dressed in a soft baby blue dress that is fitted to her calves and a matching pair of pumps, sits atop a simply black stood before a backdrop adorned with the VPW logo, unlike a lot of interviewers these days, Tessa exudes a professional air from her years in newscasting and reporting. She smooths out her hair as they’re counted in and plasters a smile on her face, as she turns to address her guest.

Tyberius King is seen seated in a folding chair wearing a black Ashley McBryde t-shirt, black Reebok shorts, and black Chuck’s. Ty has a smile on his face and looks to be in good spirits about being here. He looks patiently at Tessa as he waits for her to start.

Tessa Sweet: Tonight I am joined by the incomparable Tyberius King, a man who honestly needs to introduction, thank you so much for agreeing to this interview Mr. King.

Tyberius King: Just call me Ty. I’m very happy and honored to be here.

Tessa smiles and nods politely.

Tessa Sweet: Okay, Ty it is then. So, at Manifest Destiny, you made quite the statement and most assuredly cemented yourself as one of the loudest voices in the So-called war. Many praised you for being Vengeance’s biggest supporter, so I have to ask, how did it feel when you weren’t selected to represent the company in the big blow off tag match?

King lets out a small laugh and then smiles.

Tyberius King: You just go straight to the hard ones huh? In the end I’m glad I got to face Dane. That’s who I had the biggest issue with and I just wanted that chapter closed along with the entire conflict. I think the thing that got to me a little was Vengeance’s general manager not listing me as one of the best on his roster. Now that I think more about it, it sounds childish. Maybe I was overreacting a bit. Everyone who knows me though knows I go above and beyond when it comes to trying to be the best in this sport. Nothing about me is special. Nothing about me is remarkable. I tell people everyday that I’m just a regular person. I just try incredibly hard. My life is based around being inside that ring. I can hang and defeat many of the top wrestlers around the world. Sometimes you just like to be rewarded for what you put in. If Mendez wants me to earn and show that in Vengeance, then that is what I’m going to have to do.

Tessa nods and clears her throat gently.

Tessa Sweet: Were you not shocked by those he did select? After all, you and Phoenix, at least until recently, have been quite the team in a personal capacity, correct? So to see her selected and not you and then newcomers such as MacLeod to get that reward, that had to sting a little… You say you’re happy to prove yourself, but what then has say, Miss Jones, or Logan done, that you haven’t?

Ty keeps a straight face as he’s not sure if she’s trying to bait him into anything and just stays calm.

Tyberius King: I’d like to think Phe and I are still close.

He lets out another small laugh.

Tyberius King: I mean she did pick me up from the hospital after Dane put a beating on me. To answer the second part of your question, both people you named are fantastic competitors. Maybe the best way to put it is, what have I really done in Vengeance Pro? Cause in all honesty I don’t feel like I’ve opened up a lot of eyes or drawn any attention to myself. I’ve had some wins over some great competition but I haven’t really won a big marquis match. When we went to Japan I lost, which wasn’t a good showing for the company. I’ve lost to Rafi. There are obviously a lot of things I need to do to show what I’m capable of. Beating Dane was just the start.

Tessa Sweet: Did you not get into a very public disagreement with Jae-Sun? One in which you offered to put your career in VPW on the line for a match? Would you still assume yourself to be as close to Phoenix now as you were before that… dispute?

Ty let out a deep breath.

Tyberius King: Both of those things did happen. Is there any reason that your digging at trying to get me to say something about my friendship with Phe? I don’t see the purpose in it and I’m not going to comment.

Tessa smiles and shakes her head.

Tessa Sweet:I am simply addressing the obvious issues at hand, if the questions make you uncomfortable we can move away from Phoenix and to the aforementioned fight; are you still willing to put your career on the line? What has passed between the two of you to garner such a vehement reaction from you?

Tyberius King: Just one of those things where you’re caught up in the moment and sick of being pushed around. At some point I’d like a match with Jae. Just to get it done and over with. If I had to put my position in Vengeance on the line I might, Santana suggested to me I don’t though. So who knows.

Tessa nods again and pauses for a moment.

Tessa Sweet: And, how would you say your relationship is with Santana and the rest of the group? They’ve been very vocal in their intents here in the company and their plans do not seem to include you.

Ty is starting to look less and less enthused as he realizes this is an interview more about his personal life than his professional one.

Tyberius King: I’m fairly sure she’s not the happiest with me right now. It doesn’t appear like I’m apart of any of their plans and it doesn’t look like I’ll be added to them in the future.

Tessa quirks a brow and shakes her head.

Tessa Sweet: Fair enough, so tell me then. Where do you see yourself over the coming months in regards to VPW?

King smiles again for this question and sits himself up in the chair.

Tyberius King: Undisputed champion.

Tessa smiles back and nods her head.

Tessa Sweet: I’m sure nobody is surprised to hear that, you’re certainly a stand out option. So, what do you think of the recent arrival of Aiden Morrow and his obvious intent to challenge for that very same championship?

Ty let’s out a “hmm” and takes a moment to think about this one before responding.

Tyberius King: Aiden obviously has his reasons for his challenge. Though I think it has more layers than just my desire to sit at the top here. I still feel like I’m clawing to the spot to challenge for the title. If I’m given the chance before Aiden I’m not going to complain and my intentions are to win that title. If he gets the chance before me then he does. If he manages to take the title from Melissa then the goal doesn’t change, just the target does. The end goal is the Undisputed championship. Whether it’s Melissa or Aiden is just something I have to gameplan for. Any combination of these matches is something that is sure to excite and mesmerize the crowd. That’s something else that’s incredibly important here.

Tessa Sweet: And, do you have a game plan in mind to prove yourself as the next worthy challenger? How do you plan to stand out from the rest of the roster in that regard?

Ty nods and smiles at Tessa, warming back up to her and the direction of things.

Tyberius King: Of course, I think I need to just sit down and have a talk with our general manager. I’d like to assume he knows of my intentions to be the best but I feel like I need to urge to him that I’m ready for the top competition in the company. Maybe rematches with the people I’ve lost against are needed. Whatever it takes to show him that I earned the shot is what I will do. This is something to be worked for Tessa.

Tessa Sweet: What do you make of Ms. Morgan making her grand return this week do you think perhaps she will see things in a different light than Mateo has? She certainly seems to be a fan of your work, one would hope this bodes well for you, would they not?

Tyberius King: I think Ms. Morgan might like be better, but a personal preference between the two isn’t really something I’m going to put weight on. If she thinks I’ve done enough here for a shot then we’ll see what she does. If she wants to see me defeat a few more people in that ring while she decides then I will more than happily oblige. Maybe I need to try to meet with both of them together to see what’s the best way to go about this.

Ty seemed to be more thinking out loud at the last statement but still seemed ok with his response.

Tessa Sweet: Finally, is there anything you would like to say to the fans watching tonight?

Ty bites his bottom lip and makes sure he has direct eye contact with Tessa.

Tyberius King: I always have things to say to them, first though I wanted to thank you for taking your time today to do this. It’s appreciated and you’re good at your job Tessa.

King then turns the chair so he can look right into the camera so that all the fans at home can feel like they’re looking back at Ty.

Tyberius King: Hey everybody, first I just want to say thank you for all of your support through everything. No matter how I’m feeling to know I have all of you means the absolute world to me. Every time I see you in one of my shirts or hear you chant Wadjethotep or King it melts my heart and gives me drive at the same time. Without you I wouldn’t be here. Without your support I wouldn’t be anything. Just know that I love and support all of you as much as you support me. To everyone out there never give up on your dreams no matter how hard they are or how far away they seem. Don’t ever be deterred from what you want to be. Don’t let anyone talk you out of it. The only person who can make sure you achieve your goals is you, and to have a positive support system along the way definitely helps. If you’re down know that’s normal. Life is all about ups and downs. If you’re having trouble though and haven’t felt up in a while never be ashamed to ask for help. 866-573-3545 is the number to a depression hotline and 800-273-8255 is a suicide prevention hotline. Remember that you are important to so many people out there, you’re important to me. Thank you everyone.

Exclusive Sit Down Interview
ShoGun Champion Logan MacLeod
With Skylar Rayner

As the camera cut to the next segment, we are met by the sound of laughter coming from behind a closed door. The cameraman pushes it open, taking us inside a small room with light blue painted walls. In the middle of it, sitting one in front of the other on two cloud shaped couches are Sixth City Pro’s favorite interviewer and Vengeance Pro ShoGun Champion Logan MacLeod. The atmosphere is very relaxed, as you would expect it to be between two friends. As soon as they notice the camera, they both try to regain their composure. They are here to talk about Logan and his career in VPW, after all.

Skylar Rayner: “Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen and welcome to the Sky Lounge!”

She says with the usual enthusiasm that distinguishes the blonde interviewer. Logan couldn’t help but stifle a laugh, though his playful nature indicates that he was laughing long before the cameras were rolling.

Logan MacLeod: “...I’m sorry, did you just say ‘the Sky Lounge?’”

Sky shoots him a dirty look out of the side of her eye. In an instant, she’s back to her smiling, enthusiastic self, looking back to the camera.

Skylar Rayner: “I’m Skylar Rayner, as you may know if you watch Sixth City Pro, and I’m here tonight with a very special guest. Please welcome your ShoGun Champion Logan MacLeod!”

Logan waves his hand, nodding at the camera.

Logan MacLeod: “Hi mom!”

Skylar Rayner: “Logan, tonight is a celebration of Vengeance and its champions, a new beginning after the big war that saw you and your fellow roster members battling against Pride’s, or should I say now Millennium’s superstars. A war that affected you on so many levels, not only as a VPW wrestler. Your uncle, Chuck Matthews is the one who started it, and your girlfriend, Seph… I mean, Sephora Eastwick was fighting for the other team, and she was fighting the woman who would have become your aunt’s wife only a week later… How does it feel now that it’s all over?”

Logan MacLeod: “I’m still waiting on the Springer episode, honestly… it’s all been crazy, you know? I mean, yeah, Vengeance and Pride… Millennium, whatever. My uncle, my aunt Spider, Aunt Liz, my beautiful gal back waiting for me back in Chicago-”

He takes a moment to wave into the camera.

Logan MacLeod: “Love ya, Seph! Yeah, it was so many people close to me, all sort of against each other and… honestly? I’m glad it’s over. I don’t need to be looking over my shoulder for my uncle’s goons. I can focus on my career here in Vengeance. I can focus on where I’m headed next.”

Sky nods, taking a moment to turn to the camera and mouthing “Hi Seph”, before going with the next question.

Skylar Rayner: “I bet those were some rough days for you both. But what Sephora did during your match at Manifest Destiny, where you unified VPW Blue State Championship and Pride Pro Television Championship was very brave. Unsurprising, at least for someone who knows her, but nonetheless impressive. We can’t ignore that she pretty much turned her back on her company, going against your uncle, to who she pledged allegiance a few weeks before, attacking Lizzie Jones. Not to take anything away from your win, but she definitely played a major part in it…”

Logan MacLeod: “She did. I won’t even pretend that match was all me, it wasn’t. Truthfully… that Dane Archer can pack a serious punch and I was in way over my head. If it wasn’t for Sephora getting involved… I don’t know. I definitely wouldn’t be sitting here with the championship, I can tell you that. I owe a lot to that girl.”

He smiles softly, a look of longing passing over his face. He takes a breath and returns his attention to Sky.

Skylar Rayner: “This wrestling gig is giving you a lot of satisfaction… And to think it wasn’t even your first choice! It looks like you made the right decision back then!

Logan MacLeod: “You and I have talked about that a lot… Seph and I have talked about it a lot. I guess, in some ways, I made the same choice regardless. No, I’m not in training, I’m not running drills, I’m not getting ready for deployment… but in a lot of ways, I still wound up being a soldier, you know? Now, I’m not comparing stepping in a wrestling ring to doing the things our troops do… the things my dad does… but we all need a purpose, you know? At Manifest Destiny… a lot of it sucked. Fighting my girlfriend, fighting my uncle.... It wasn’t easy. Not physically, not mentally, not emotionally. But that’s what makes a soldier, you know? I wasn’t out there fighting for myself. I was out there fighting for everyone else. That’s what drives me. That’s what I do.”

He pauses a moment.

Logan MacLeod: “I’m very fortunate to have people like you and Seph to have my back along the way.”

She smiles, lowering her eyes.

Skylar Rayner: “Well, that’s what friends are for right?”

Logan nods in agreement,

Skylar Rayner: “I have a personal question now, you can refuse to ask if you want... Manifest Destiny was two weeks ago, did you talk with your uncle ever since?”

Logan freezes. For a long moment, he’s silent. His mouth opens several times, but no words come out.

Logan MacLeod: “I…. I did, actually. Yeah. I mean… I know a lot of people I work with still have issue with him. I know my aunt has issues with him. But at the end of the day, he’s still my uncle, and I owe him a lot. I don’t always like the things he does, and I know he’s done some things I should hate him for… but I guess that’s what family does. They forgive each other…. I don’t know. It’s all in the past, I guess.”

Skylar Rayner: “You’re right, it’s all over now… But enough with the past… Let’s talk about your future and the future of the ShoGun Championship. Earlier tonight, Sage Morgan announced a tournament to crown a new number one contender. The wrestlers who will take part on this have yet to be announced, but we can assume all the bigger stars of VPW will be on it, and that includes the likes of Tyberius King and Lizzie Jones, both former champions and formidable athletes. Are you somehow intimidated by the names you could potentially face?”

Logan MacLeod: “Do you mind if I tell you a story?”

Sky smiles, encouraging Logan to speak.

Logan MacLeod: “You know my dad… served the country for as long as I’ve been alive. And I always looked up to him, I always thought he was invincible, like… he was Superman, you know? Nothing scared him. But I remember, I was seven or eight years old, he was back from a tour and I asked him-... Asked him ‘Dad, how come you’re not afraid of anything?’ And he sat me down and he looked at me and told me he WAS afraid of some things. And the thing he feared most was… his gun. I remember, that really surprised me. He was one of the best marksmen in his division, he spent most of my childhood away at war, I figured after all that time he’d have no problem with a weapon. But he explained to me… overconfidence will kill you faster than any bullet. Fear is a weird kind of respect, I guess. The second you stop being afraid of your weapon is the day it reminds you why you should be.

So do people like Tyberius King, people like Lizzie Jones intimidate me? Yeah. Honestly, they do. But that fear is what drives me. I’m not tucking tail and running at the thought of having to fight people like that. It’s what I live for. I came into this business for that kind of competition… but I’ve also learned that without that fear, without that respect for the damage they can do… they feed on that. The moment you let your guard down, the moment you stop being afraid and you let your senses dull, that’s when they’ll get you. That’s when they’ll put you down. Fear keeps your senses alive. It keeps you focused. Fear isn’t a weakness. It’s a tool, and like any other tool, you have to learn how to use it properly.”

He frowns.

Logan MacLeod: “Yeah…. yeah, something like that.”

He chuckles.

Skylar Rayner: “Anyway, your next opponent, if I understand correctly, should be someone from Pride… Now I don’t want to jinx you or give mister Matthews any idea, but that could mean someone really close to you, or the man you defeat but didn’t really beat…”

Logan nods.

Logan MacLeod: “I gave up trying to get in my uncle’s head a long time ago. He loves that kind of thing. He’s not just three steps ahead, he’s three steps ahead, two games from now. He’s the smartest guy in the business for a reason… so I can’t go into that match trying to outsmart him. I just need to do my thing. Whoever he chooses, whoever he puts me up against… I’ll be ready for the challenge. I don’t doubt he’s got someone lined up to take the ShoGun title back to Chicago for him… but I’m ready.”

He smirks, taking a moment to look into the camera.

Logan MacLeod: “Do your worst, Uncle C.”

Skylar Rayner: “...Or not, it’s your nephew after all!”

She says sticking out her tongue and causing Logan to burst into another contagious laughter.

Skylar Rayner: “Anyway…”

She finally regained her composure.

Skylar Rayner: “Thanks for your time Logan.”

They both stand up. Sky extends her hand to greet him.

Skylar Rayner: “Ohhh screw it!”

She quickly took her hand away and wraps her arms around him, squeezing him in a friendly hug. Not very professional maybe, but a sincere display of the bond between them.

Skylar Rayner: “I’m Skylar Rayner and this was your ShoGun Champion ladies and gentlemen. April, you’re up next!”

They both waved at the camera, smiling. We cut to the next segment, where April Montana will have a word with Vengeance new signee Aiden Morrow.

Exclusive Sit Down Interview
Aiden Morrow
With April Montana

April Montana and Aiden Morrow sit opposite each other in loveseats. The room is comfortably lit, not too bright, not too dull.

April glares at Aiden for a few moments before beginning.

April Montana: Aiden Morrow. Welcome to my world, sir.

April rubs her hands together with a grin on her face.

April Montana: Before we get going, why don't you tell the fans about yourself and where you've wrestled up until now? Quite the extensive resume!

Aiden smiles and nods.

Aiden Morrow: Well, I’ve wrestled in Legacy Wrestling, Victory Wrestling, Proving Grounds and in REBELLION Pro. I’ve also held two top championships over my career, as I was the face of Legacy and of Proving Grounds. REBELLION was nice but England didn’t sit well with me, so that’s what brings me back home to the states and to Vengeance Pro.

April Montana: Some people will criticize the way you debuted in Vengeance. That isn't my place to comment on, no bias on my end, but I do want to ask, right off the bat. Why?

April pauses as Aiden appears to be pondering the question.

April Montana: Your past with Melissa is well documented, its no secret. When you entered the ring at the last Vengeance show, the fans cheered you. They were on your side, and within a matter of seconds, those cheers turned to jeers and you were one of the most hated, or misunderstood members of the Vengeance roster. Walk us through your decision to do what you did.

Aiden thinks it over for a moment as he frowns a bit. Finally, he shrugs as he lets out a sigh.

Aiden Morrow: Honestly? I don’t know what came over me. Even before Melissa and I dated, we were best friends and well, her friendship means the world to me. I guess it was all just in the heat of the moment but it’s something I can’t take back, even though I wish I could.

April Montana: You don't know me well, honestly nobody does since I was just hired, but I feel like the people deserve a better answer than that.

In an effort not to upset Aiden, and still remain unbiased, Montana continues.

April Montana: If you weren't taking any mood altering substances, then I think you made a very calculated decision to target Melissa. I just want the truth, and I feel like Melissa and the fans deserve the truth as well. So, let's try it again. Was this a decision made out of wanting your name coming out of everyone's mouth? Do you want an Undisputed championship match? Is it personal at all?

Aiden leans forward in his chair, the sad look that he was faking is gone as a smirk crosses over his face.

Aiden Morrow: What makes you think that you, Melissa or any of these ungrateful fans deserve the truth right now?

He laughs as he leans back into his chair.

Aiden Morrow: It’s funny, this generation is all about wanting answers now because most things you can find out by pulling out your phone and asking google. Nobody’s patient anymore, nobody wants to wait for the big payoff. They want the entire season on Netflix so they can binge it all on one night.

Aiden’s brow furrows as he tilts his head, looking at April.

Aiden Morrow: Is that you, April? Do you want to binge on all of the answers tonight? You do, don’t you? Didn’t your mother ever teach you to be patient.

April shakes her head and raises an eyebrow.

April Montana: Your anger is misplaced. My job isn't to be patient. My job is to ask the questions that people want the answers to. I can't force the answers out of you, but don't you want to share whatever point it was you were trying to make with the world? Otherwise, what's the point of even doing what you did?

April sits forward in her loveseat.

April Montana: Was the attack on Melissa a personal or professionally based decision?

Aiden laughs out loud as he shakes his head.

Aiden Morrow: Personal? That’s the narrative you and everyone wants, isn’t it? All because I used to fuck Melissa, so of course, this is her ex-lover getting revenge over a break up!

Aiden laughs again but it soon fades away as he leans forward and glares at April.

Aiden Morrow: If you have to ask if it’s personal or professional, then you and everyone else don’t know me very well. Because ever since I started this successful career of mine? I’ve chased after the top belt, no matter where I’ve been. So what does that fucking tell you, April?

April's face turns red as she looks away from Aiden for a moment.

April Montana: I'm going to remain professional.

April takes a deep breath before looking back up at Aiden.

April Montana: So a shortcut to a title match. Got it. Okay, so let's say Melissa doesn't feel you deserve a title match quite yet. Does that mean that this attack was all for nothing? What if you potentially threw out a life long friendship, for a title opportunity you may never receive?

Aiden’s nose curls before he scoffs and shakes his head.

Aiden Morrow: A shortcut? What? I’m not taking shortcuts, April, I’m making statements. Someone of my stature doesn’t take shortcuts and I was brought into VPW to be a part of the main event, to be a part of the Undisputed Championship picture. And as far as I’m concerned, I haven’t been given a title match yet, have I? But guess what? If give the chance, I’ll earn one because that’s what I do.

April Montana: Okay, you're literally dancing around every question I ask. I'm not going to pucker up, that isn't my style of interviewing. I'm not trying to be rude either, I just want answers. If you NEVER receive a title opportunity, will you regret the attack on Melissa?

Aiden Morrow: Yeah... We’re done here.

Aiden pulls the tiny microphone that had been attached to his shirt for the interview off as he stands up. He then throws it down onto April’s lap and scoffs.

Aiden Morrow: Fucking bush league questions. You won’t last long in this sport at all.

He then turns and walks out, leaving April Montana both confused and upset as the cameras move out of the room.

Exclusive Sit Down Interview
High Stakes Champion Mistress Vivi
With Skylar Rayner

Once again we are brought into the Sky Lounge, the room Skylar Rayner has set up for this very special episode of Ignition she was asked to take part in. The framing opens with a close up of her smiling face, as she sits back on the cloud-shaped couch.

Skylar Rayner: “Welcome back to the Sky Lounge, ladies and gentlemen. Before I introduce my second and last guest for the night, I’d like to take a couple of minutes of your time to publicly thank mister Mateo Mendez and Ms Sage Morgan for giving me this opportunity. It’s been a great experience for me, I had the chance to meet phenomenal athletes and get to know some colleagues.
For what it’s worth, I believe that Vengeance Pro has the interview part covered just fine with April. That girl has skills!”

She runs a hand through her long blonde hair, the wide smile slowly fading as she recompose to her professional stance.

Skylar Rayner: “Controversial. Outspoken. Cunning. Smart. Dangerous. And, of course, a champion. These are six words you can use to describe my next guest, the High State Champion Vivienne Robichaud.”

The camera finally zooms out, showing Mistress Vivi sitting on the other couch, right in front of the interviewer, with the High Stakes title resting next to her.

Mistress Vivi: You chose your words well, Ms. Rayner. And I have to say, it’s about time that your final word was added to the list of phrases that can be used to describe me. This moment has been a long time coming.

Skylar Rayner: Last week, you won the Vengeance Pro High Stakes title, but we’ll get to that eventually. First of all, I would like to go back in time, let’s say in the middle of the Vengeance vs Pride war. You were the first one, and only, to tell everyone and your roster member that Chuck Matthews should not be trusted. Turns out you were right, and your colleagues kinda played themselves right in the Chuck’s hand. Should they have listened to you, what would your course of actions have been now? What would we be looking for, how would the CWC landscape being right now?

Mistress Vivi: My course of action would be to proceed as normal, with whatever show schedule the office had intended before Chuck Matthews and his bullshit got involved. Had people taken me seriously, and not given Matthews the satisfaction of retaliation, of swearing their revenge for his actions against our company, we’d be staying the course. We’d be looking at a rebranded Pride, of course, but without the buzz and the momentum they gained from coming into our company and using our talent to make themselves stars. Don’t get me wrong, I admire the tactics and I don’t disagree with the methods Matthews used. But by the same token, I was not about to allow myself to be another piece on his chessboard.

Skylar Rayner: Your decision to take a step back and not joining team Vengeance in what at the time seemed to be a turning point for this company, clearly didn’t make you any friends. You’ve been called a selfish, arrogant bitch, a coward… And many other not-so-nice epithets. How did you feel when the bell sounded and you realized you just became the High Stakes Champion? I mean, it was quite the statement, you went from being somewhat the outcast to someone people have to deal with, like it or not.

Mistress Vivi: Well if they didn’t like me then, I sure as hell don’t expect them to like me now. And that’s fine, they don’t have to. But one way or another, what people will learn with me as their High Stakes Champion is that while I don’t expect their adulation, I will command their respect. I intend to be a fighting champion, one who welcomes any and all challengers.

Skylar Rayner: They say the appetite comes with eating and here you are, throwing your name in the hat for the American Anarchy tournament that will start at the end of April, fighting for a chance to become the new number one contender for the CWC US Championship. A title that was here in VPW before Kaelan Laughlin quit the company and left for Rebellion. Should you, of all people, be the one to go through the whole competition and eventually bring the title back to the States and to Las Vegas… Now, that would be a nice way to cement yourself even more as someone who the management may not like, but they definitely need.

Mistress Vivi: Double champion has such a nice ring to it, doesn’t it? I’m accustomed to not being liked by management - I’ve always been far too outspoken and opinionated for their tastes. Not being actively held back is a nice change from when I first started out, but still. I am a competitor who knows my own worth, and there’s nothing that scares the shit out of management more than someone who can see through their bullshit platitudes and who will fight for what they deserve, both in and out of the ring. I want to bring that US Championship back to the States where it belongs, and finally give the title the prestige that it deserves.

Skylar Rayner: What’s your opinion on Kaelan Laughlin and her controversial decision?

Mistress Vivi: You know, until she decided to abandon ship for the United Kingdom, Kaelan was doing a very good job of changing the legacy around the US championship. After title holders like Cass Baumer and Hope whatever her names was, it was about time that someone proved that they could hold that title and not be complete garbage. But then Kaelan turned her back on the company, and on the country of the title she holds, and moved back home to the United Kingdom. Her new #1 contender should do her a favor and relieve her of the burden of holding that championship, so that she can focus on this new phase of her career in Rebellion without having the added strain of defending a CWC title.

Skylar Rayner: One last question, who do you…

Suddenly, a laugh is heard from behind Vivi, with Sky looking on confused. That is, until Jay Sinclair makes his way into the picture, standing at the side of the couch and looking down, shaking his head. Just as he looks up, eyes visible just under the brim of his fitted cap, he had Vivi in his sights.

Jay Sinclair: See, this is the prob around here. Too much talk when nobody cares. Speaking on people when you're not in their position. Come on, Vi, you think you could be in the running for a US Title Shot? Shit, you luck you get to walk around with that High Stakes now.

Mistress Vivi stands up, facing Jay with a cold smirk on her lips. She lifts her title belt and drapes it over her shoulder, her eyes never leaving his.

Mistress Vivi: Luck had absolutely nothing to do with my winning this title, Mr. Sinclair. Skill, yes. A bit of cunning, always. But luck? Not at all. And I will thank you to remember that this is my time with Ms. Rayner, not yours. I do not take kindly to interruptions. Should you have something you’d like to speak to me about in the future, make an appointment.

While her face remains passive, her hand clenches into a fist at her side - the only sign of her anger.

Mistress Vivi: Or you can meet me in the ring. Your choice, Mr. Sinclair.

With that, Mistress Vivi stalks off in a huff, knocking into Jay with her shoulder on the way out. Jay says nothing, merely smirking as the Voodoo Queen exits the Sky Lounge.

Exclusive Sit Down Interview
Hardcore Champion Phoenix Q
With the interviewer of her choice.

Having made their grand entrance a few moments ago complete with red carpet, hand holding and all, the two longtime childhood friends sat inside of the ring across from one another on the two love seats as they grinned at each other like two young girls sharing such a huge secret. It was like they were in their own little world and they would have kept on like this if the VPW Hardcore Champion didn't remember why they were out here tonight and straightened up, clearing her throat but the glow on her face never left as Nikolah Brasi gathers her note cards neatly and straightens out her posture.

Nikki Brasi: "Good evening, lovely people of Las Vegas and also to everyone tuning in on their television right at this moment to watch this beautiful and talented woman before your very eyes. Allow me to introduce myself.... I am Nikolah Brasi and I have one of the most important people in this woman's life and also have known her for going on twenty two years, but who's counting?

Nikki bats her eyelashes innocently while looking down at her note cards.

Nikki Brasi: "I know absolutely everything about her but given that we have so much catching up to do, I need these notes to stay on task and us not get carried away into our own world like we tend to do. I do want to get some things out of the way and there are some things that are needing to be addressed so we can start there! First... a little tweety bird who is TOTALLY not sitting in front of me right now or anything, told me that she is soon to be a single lady."

Phoenix Quagliaterre: "Welllllll..... I mean my birthday is on the second of next month and I maaaaaay or may not be turning twenty nine as a single woman, that's all I can speak to that for right now due to my lawyers wanting me to be careful and not jinx it. But yes, that is correct."

Nikki Brasi: "And fans have been curious to know what are you planning on doing as far as your last name goes when the divorce ever is finalized? Are you going to drop the Quagliaterre name quicker than you drop these unworthy men you should have never given a chance to or are you going to keep it a bit longer?"

Phoenix Quagliaterre: "I had decided early last year when I had filed for divorce that I would keep the name for business reasons. I mean I named my company Quagliaterre Inc and it's booming, I really don't know if I want to change it because I have cemented it as that even though with a name change, the company will still be successful. But I admit I have threatened alot of times to wanting to be rid of the last name because of how much Alessandro has pissed me off on a few occasions but I am trying to get on stable ground with him and actually be civil."

Phoenix reaches for the bottle of water on the small coffee table between the women to take a few sips while Nikki looks up from her post cards with a sly smile etched on that lovely face of hers.

Nikki Brasi: "Is it true that you are willing to play nice with Alessandro now due to the fact he said that him putting a certain ex in a coma was him doing you a favor because he saw right through his intentions from the very beginning?"

Startled by the question, Phoenix spits the water out and quickly reaches for the tissue box to clean up the water on the table while trying to get herself together.

Phoenix Quagliaterre: "I.... well, yes, I guess that's one reason. Another reason is if I am given the divorce then I think I would be able to get along with him because I wouldn't be so resentful and agitated towards him. But yes what you said, Alessandro made a good point."

Nikki Brasi: "Now onto the business side of things.... well it's hard to even call it business since that creepy guy seems to hold this personal grudge against you. I just want to say that I don't appreciate that Bael guy doing what he did to you last week all because he was being such a bloody sore loser. I always took him to be a gobby something with how much he ran his mouth last year but why should I not be surprised he would not take losing lightly? Mum was SOOOOOO upset watching him shove you off the turnbuckle like that and don't even get me started on Nate, he couldnt come to the states with me because he was going to want to get into fisticuffs instead of talking. But anyways... let's talk about this business deal on the table that Perry Wallace has for you, are you willing to leave your position at Spirit and Pride Wrestling to take it?"

Phoenix Quagliaterre: "I mean I wouldn't necessarily have to step down as Investor or Board of Director to take this job, my presence would just have to lessen at the SAP shows in order to fulfill obligations that need to be complete."

Nikki Brasi: "I mean isn't it awkward having to work at the same place as your ex??"

Phoenix Quagliaterre: "Not really, you know how I can get once someone becomes dead to me. I'm not about to abuse my power as authority to torment someone that I broke up with. Even with the VPW fans beefing with me over me not being their damn puppet on a string any longer, the public hates him ten times over so that's punishment enough in my opinion. I lose people in my life every year and they always get replaced, it's nothing new at all. I do understand people are still going on about it because it seems as if he's taking shots lowkey when he brags about his girlfriend but there's no need to be upset. People know who the Queen is. Besides, after the last time I snapped and she apologized to me, I let things go."

Nikki Brasi: "You heard it here first, ladies and gentleman. Now moving onto your opponent from last week, baw-el movement..."

Phoenix Quagliaterre: "Bawel movement instead of Bael because you believe he's a piece of shit... now that I can respect. I mean, can we REALLY be surprised that Bael lost his head like that? Can we not forget that I had him and Hellfire Club so shook that they fake kidnapped me during a goddamn show last year? I honestly thought he'd try to throw himself a lil hissy fit and even recite some poem he found off one of those Satanic fan sites to try to 'curse' me.. but no. He had to attack me from behind, something that's becoming a normal thing now when it comes to me and opponents. But as a Champion, I should not be surprised when it comes to people targeting me. It's not my fault that Bael isn't Hardcore material and now I have to deal with an entire tournament of people fighting each other all the way to the finish just to lose to me..."

Phoenix looks down at her Hardcore Championship resting across her lap and she begins running her hand across the front of it.

Phoenix Quagliaterre: "I've had so many dudes cuck their girlfriends online just to flirt with me and have had guys in relationships forget they were in one, plus can't forget the guys I turn down so I am pretty sure this tournament will be filled of people wanting their revenge, their day, their blah blah blah of whatever they want to call it when it's just going to end in further embarrassment of me either pinning them in the middle of the ring or making them submit to me. I do welcome the challenge though."

Nikki Brasi: "You have a bigger challenge to worry about in two days that takes precedence over some surly sore loser who has a grudge against you from a year ago."

Nikki suddenly begins giggling in which the caught off guard Phoenix tries to shush her from exposing anything as Phoenix quickly raises her mic to speak and cut off Nikki from saying anything else.

Phoenix Quagliaterre: "Well I think that's it, let's not forget I just had an interview last week so there really isn't anything much left to cover."

Phoenix then begins making the cut throat gesture to the cameras to further indicate that the interview was over while the camera fades out on a protesting Nikki who wants to do more speaking while Phoenix reaches over the table to snatch the mic from Nikki and hold it hostage.

Exclusive Sit Down Interview
VPW Undisputed Champion Melissa Reeves
With April Montana

April Montana: Wow...that's all I can really say right now.

The camera fades out to show new interviewer for Vengeance, April Montana sitting on a small loveseat in a brightly lit room. Across from her, in her own comfortable loveseat was the Undisputed champion of Vengeance, Melissa Reeves.

April Montana: It's an honor to be here, truly. Thank you for sitting down with me, first, I want to start by asking how you're feeling? All things considered.

An uncomfortable silence lingers before Melissa answers. She shuffles in the seat a little, staring up at the camera. Eventually her attention turns back to April.

Melissa Reeves: Well, first of all, thank you for having me. Now to answer what you asked, you know...that's quite a complex question. There are many feelings right now. I suppose you'll want to delve into that at some stage.

April Montana: I have to get the answers girl, but we'll get there in a little bit. First, tell me about being the Undisputed champion of Vengeance. What does it mean to you? Anyone not living under a rock knows that you were also the esteemed Liberty champion simultaneously for awhile.

April glances at the Undisputed championship as she continues.

April Montana: What kind of pressure comes with being the one that everyone is gunning for? And does the pressure ever hit you, or is it something that you're accustomed to at this point in your career?

Reeves cracks a small smirk.

Melissa Reeves: I was the champion of both places, yes - a personal career highlight, to be honest. So what does it mean to be champion here? It means I'm doing my job, April. My job is to be the best that Vengeance has and being champion is how we measure that. Does that bring its own pressure? Sure, absolutely. But it brings its own reward too and I'm at a stage where I know for sure I am good enough to be champ no matter which company I'm in, so the pressure is lessened...but the hunger isn't.

She looks down at her title.

Melissa Reeves: This title has been mine since Strikeback, back in January. Since then I've fended off any challenge to it and, again, that's just me doing my job. Now, I understand perfectly well that everyone else, those folks in the back, they're gunning for me. That's them doing their job. They want what I have and, were I in their shoes, it's what I would be doing too.

She sighs.

Melissa Reeves: But if you ask me then I'd say that title chances are earned, April. They're not just demanded, you have to prove yourself worthy of one.

April nods her head.

April Montana: I totally get it. Like if I wanted a cheeseburger right now, I'd have to earn it. You wouldn't just give me one.

She laughs, trying to get the champion to smile but Melissa remains focused.

April Montana: Sorry, my humor is a bit hit or miss. Anywho...

April adjusts herself in the loveseat.

April Montana: Who do you feel has earned the right to compete against you for your championship? Is there anyone in particular, or a few people even, that really stand out among the others?

She shakes her head.

Melissa Reeves: I suppose it's not really my place to decide, but I personally think that a third match between myself and Mariano Fernandez, with the title on the line, would make quite the spectacle. Or myself vs Phoenix, a woman I've never faced, a woman whose title credentials are clear to see in my view.

After a moment more of thought, she sighs.

Melissa Reeves: But I'll happily tell you that Aiden Morrow is a name that's nowhere near the top of that list, April. Nowhere near.

April Montana: Okay, so you're defiant in your opinion that Aiden Morrow doesn't deserve a shot at your championship, but clearly he has your attention.

April pauses, not wanting to sound harsh or rude.

April Montana: Can we talk about last week? First, you defeated not one, but THREE challengers in Jay Sinclair, Cecily Bell and Rafi Cruz, and then Aiden Morrow of all people enters the ring and seems like he wants to celebrate, before dropping you and then holding your title up into the air.

Montana pauses once more.

April Montana: Considering your past with Aiden, what was your first thought when you realized what happened? Did you feel anger? Were you emotional? Give all of us your candid, uncut thoughts on Aiden and what he did last week.

Reeves remains stoic, her face betraying no obvious sign of any particular emotion.

Melissa Reeves: Last week I did what I set out to do, I defeated three very capable challengers in a difficult match. And then afterward, yeah...out came Aiden, a man I considered to be a friend. An ex-boyfriend of mine, in fact.

She licks across her lips and sighs.

Melissa Reeves: A man I trusted, someone I believed in. But that was shown to be a false belief, a misplaced trust. He attacked me and, yeah, it took me off guard. He betrayed me because, he says, he wants what I have.

She shakes her head.

Melissa Reeves: You want my honest opinion?

April Montana: They don't call me Honest April for nothing...okay that's Honest Abe's schtick, but I definitely want your honest opinion.

With a scoff, Reeves nods her head. She looks dead at the camera.

Melissa Reeves: I think that the why behind Aiden's attack, the reason that he threw away our friendship is because he's a jealous little bastard who looks at me and sees a woman who achieved everything he used to dream of.

She continues on before April can even muster a response.

Melissa Reeves: Yeah, I said it. I'm calling him out on it. He always had a chip on his shoulder, but he used to at least do things the right way and it seems to me that he's given up on that in exchange for trying to take shortcuts to get ahead. He could have signed anywhere, but he picked Vengeance. He picked me. That's his mistake. He, of all people, should have known better.

She shrugs.

Melissa: But here we are, with a situation he created. A situation I didn't expect and didn't want but, now that we ARE here, a situation that I will not be a victim of.

April Montana: You're right, it's a situation he created, and despite you saying he doesn't deserve a title match, it's what the fans want to see now. The world wants it, and clearly, Aiden wants it. So my next question is, will you give it to him?

April studies Melissa, who is none too quick to fire off a reply.

April Montana: You have to want a measure of revenge, and what's the best way to get it than to give him what he wants, only to pull it away if you beat him? Or are you standing firm in the fact that he doesn't deserve a shot at that amazingly beautiful championship on your lap?

Mel looks down at the title, then back up to April.

Melissa Reeves: Sadly, we seem to live in a world where actions like Aiden's are rewarded with opportunities. Clearly he thinks a shot at this gold is more valuable than our friendship, our history. That's his choice. If he wants me in the ring so badly then so be it, but if he thinks he's taking this title from me then I don't know what to tell you, April.

She scoffs.

Melissa Reeves: I guess he wasted a journey and made himself look like an asshole for nothing, because this title is going nowhere and his antics won't change that.

April Montana: You're so bada-

She stops herself and smirks.

April Montana: Okay, on a serious note, and I want you to let the guard all the way down for this. Let's say you guys have your match, one of you wins, one obviously loses. After it's all said and done, Aiden wants to shake your hand and mend that friendship you spoke of. Is it possible? Would you even want to fix things with him on a personal level at this point?

Melissa answers without a moment of thought or hesitation.

Melissa: No.

She's apparently amused by the idea.

Melissa Reeves: I'm sick of people in this industry who think that our personal lives are meaningless, it's okay to betray someone because it's "just work". He could have signed here and worked his way into a title match. Hell, he could have issued a challenge and asked. Instead he acted like a bitch and why, April, would I want to let someone who's willing to behave that way be involved in my personal life ever again?

She turns to the camera.

Melissa: In fact, if he had an ounce of professionalism in him then we wouldn't be here. So I expect he'll throw everything he's got at me. He'll use my personal life because professionally he can't touch me. And I can promise you all this, for every single thing he uses, I will punish him that much more when I do get my hands on him. I constantly tell people not to get personal with me and yet here we are.

She shrugs again.

Melissa: I'm a professional, April, and I will do my job without prejudice. But when you make it personal then it's a whole different set of circumstances.

April Montana: Quite candid from our champion if I say so myself.

April sits back and mouths 'wow' and lightly fans herself.

April Montana: Before we go, I want to give you the opportunity to speak directly to your fans. What can they expect in the coming months from you? Is wrestling where your heart truly is, or could you be branching out? There are quite a few wrestlers who act, or work on side projects. What does the future hold for Melissa Reeves, and what does it mean for your fans and for Vengeance as a whole?

Her mood seems to lighten a bit and she sits back in her chair.

Melissa Reeves: Wrestling is where my heart is, that's for sure. Now, branching out? I've done that before. I've acted a bit - both on TV and in films- and I've was in a reasonably popular, albeit short lived, band. Could I see myself returning to those things at some stage? Sure, but not if it hinders my career in the ring. So it's a tough balance, but I'm always open to opportunities.

She finally smiles for a moment.

Melissa Reeves: But my main priority is definitely in the ring, winning matches and gold and proving myself to be worthy of standing amongst the biggest names in this industry.

April Montana: You're certainly one of those big names, Melissa. I want to thank you again for the sit down. It was cozy, cool, and candid...my three favorite c's.

April laughs.

April Montana: Best of luck in whatever comes next for you here in Vengeance!

Melissa: Thank you for having me and I appreciate your kind words.

Mel turns to April and offers her hand. After they shake, she waves to the camera.
