OCEANIC WRESTLING FEDERATION UNIT 22: FLANNERY DORSEY’S ATHLETICS OF BLOOD

FROM MT EDEN HALL - AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND
FRIDAY JULY 66th 2018

_____________________________________________________________

GM Flannery Dorsey stands in the ropeless ring with his referees. He promises tonight to be a showcase of pure action with the spirit of combat in mind. The Parakore Championship is meant for fast, and exciting matches that test each of the competitors. Dorsey goes over the rules again. There will be no pinfalls, and the ropes have not been added to the ring. This means that aside from a victory from a submission or knockout, making your opponent fall from the ring will also lead to a win. He reveals the bracket, and then Kassidy comes out with his wife and his championship. Kassidy talks about his struggles as a wrestler. He wants this championship to mean something special, so he agrees to put it up against any wrestler he faces tonight. With that we begin.

Michelle laughs to herself as she walks backstage. She runs into Jacky Rex Daniels. They both freeze. Jacky then starts at a run as Michelle sighs and follows. They reach the viewing room where Anna isn’t to be found. There is only a letter on the chair she was sitting on. Daniels sees a figure in a shroud running away and gives chase. Michelle hears a toilet flushing, and Anna comes out of the bathroom in the room. Wong points out the letter to her, and Anna reads it:

“There are chords in the hearts of the most reckless which cannot be touched without emotion, even by the utterly lost, to whom life and death are equally jests, there are matters of which no jest can be made.”

Michelle shrugs and sits down to watch the rest of the show. Anna thinks about the note.
