Kenji woke up bright and early today. Today he mastered the water clone jutsu, his grandfather's specialty. They say old grandpa Isamu could generate over 500 of'em with one jutsu, and without effort. Kenji didn't necessarily want to go that far, but he wanted to know how to use it properly. He could already make a clone, but it was misshapen. He was going to meet the hero and learn it properly this time. The Hero always had huge respect for the Isamu family, thanks to his brother, and especially his Father. He waited around the training room of the academy for Hero to show up. |

After about an hour of waiting, Hero showed up. He didn't seem to care he was late, in fact he said Kenji was just too early. Kenji sarcasticly replied that Hero was just lazy and couldn't think of a better excuse. Hero laughed, saying "Yeah, yeah, you got me. Okay, now let's see what you can do!" |

Kenji focused his Chakra, and then did the proper hand seals. A water clone appeared, but it was all...unstable. Within seconds it imploded and became nothing more then a puddle on the ground. Hero laughed, saying it was a start. "Well, at the very least you've got the concept down. You also know the seals, which is a good start. But try putting more Chakra into it...I think that might be the problem!" Kenji followed his advice and put more Chakra into it, and slowed his hand seals down a bit so he did it perfectly...uh...in theory. |

That was it! After he did it, he made one perfect copy..but he couldn't hold it. Within seconds it once again imploded. He sighed and wondered if he'd ever get it. He wasn't much for ninjitsu anyways. Hero showed him what it was supposed to look. Within an instant 3 perfect clones appeared. Hero nodded his head and they rushed at Kenji, but Kenji's brother had tried this one before and he was expecting it. He quickly grabbed his chain and swung it skillfully, taking one out after the other, all whilst he back slipped; a precaution in case he missed one, but he didn't. Hero, eyes narrowed, said it was luck, and that this time he'd do it for real. He did the jutsu again, and 5 water clones appeared, and surrounded Kenji. Sweat glistened down his forehead as he eyed around him. He couldn't just swing the chain again, they'd expect that. He needed to do something effective, but he also wanted to impress Hero. Then it dawned on him...he'd just freeze them. |

He held his hands out, and with a large pulse of energy, he stopped all water movement around him. The two clones that were to jump on him fell from the air and fell to their side, stuck in their pose. He jumped into the air and swung his chain below him, making visible cuts within all of them. When he landed, all of the clones collapsed simultainously, making a large puddle where he stood. |

Through heavy breaths of exhaustion, he yelled at the Hero, "What the hell was that all about?! I thought I was supposed to be training to learn the Water Clone Jutsu!!" Hero looked at him sternly..and this time it was actually stern, not just a facade to be followed by a joke. His eyes pierced into the soul of Kenji. Then it dawned on him...the reason...he had to learn how to stop a Water Clone before he could make one. Kenji nodded, he understood now the importance of the lesson. If he didn't know how to stop a jutsu, he would be vaunrable to being countered by his own jutsu. He couldn't afford to be killed so easily, even if he could stop it...just because he had a gift, it didn't excuse him from learning a skill. |

The Peacemaker

Sakakida Hideko – The Musei Ahou Name: Sakakida Hideko Gender: Male Age: Ten Clan: Sakakida Clan Village: Hidden Sand Village Main Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu Rank: Genin Special Abilities: Silent Jutsu Personality: Once a childish and playful youth, who depended on his and his brothers’ antics for humor, Hideko has grown since that fateful day. No longer has he caused pranks that have rotten in his past. Now the young Hideko has matured and grown much more at peace with himself. Some say a sort of serenity radiates off of the young lad as he walks the streets, his friends too seem to be influenced by his nature. Hideko has grown highly passive, now picking his fights only after a brief meditation, something he has learned since his encounter with Yangu. Many have grown to respect the young boy, as not only has he matured so much in such little time, but also he is of pure heart. Many have witnessed the great deeds that Hideko performs for those around him; such is the way of his unconditional love for all that surrounds him. And such is the way that Hideko believes to continue until his dieing days. Appearance: Since birth both he and his brother were addressed as two of the most charming boys of the Hidden Sand Village. However, after his brother’s leave, this praise is reserved for Hideko and he only. An unknown aura seems to surround the young boy as he stands, invisible to the eyes yet clear to the mind. Starting from the top, unkempt yet soft auburn hair sits atop his tanned and chiseled face, something augmented only by the desert sun that sits atop a throne above their heads. His hair, restricted by the headband that all Genin wear as a symbol of the Sand Village, reaches just to the top of his dark brown eyes, where a strange wisdom seems to pour from. His long-sleeved shirt is that of pure white and of tight fitting as to show Hideko’s thin and nimble frame, it’s collar a turtle neck which stretches up to just below his jaw as to cover the terrible scar left behind by Yangu. Another skintight shirt adds as a top layer, this one however is of blue color and short-sleeve. Tied by a leather strap, the young one’s staff remains at rest upon his back. Covering his long legs, a pair of white pants that reach just below his ankles, fitting yet not as tight as his shirts as not to hinder his agile movements yet not interfere with the thick brush he may encounter. Several small pockets disguise Hideko’s many number of Kunai and a folded fan, which he always keeps at his side just as he would his staff. As to protect his feet, the young boy wears a thin pair of white shoes as to assist in his travels. Money: 100 Yen Stats Chakara: 50/50 Strength: 4 Agility: 16 Control: 13 Will: 11 Endurance: 6 Intelligence: 7 Equipment Purificator (Wooden Jo) – At just three feet in length, this plain wooden staff is the same in which Hideko had battled Yangu with. The young boy takes pride in his great skills in Jojutsu, martial arts held famous by his father. Etched into the staff is the word Mikomi, which means hope. Gentle Breeze (Silk Fan) – Made by his mother with a gentle hand, the fan is one of the key weapons of those of the Sand Shinobi. Hideko only uses such a weapon however when the opportunity presents itself. Just as his staff is marked, the word Mikomi is displayed on its length in a fragile azure paint. Known Jutsu Jutsu Slots: 1 Clone Skill (Bunshin no Jutsu) Rank: Genin Type: Genjutsu Description: Everyone is required to know this, a requirement to graduate as a Genin. This is a basic Jutsu. It creates illusions of the caster, in other words: clones. These are basic clones that aren't real. If they are hit by something, they automatically disappear. Sand Clone (Suna Bunshin no Jutsu) Rank: Genin Type: Ninjutsu Description: Creates clones of the caster of the Jutsu from sand. This is capable of attacking. However, when it is attacked and hit, it doesn't disappear. This makes it one of the most powerful and advanced types of the Bunshin. But it's useless as a decoy because it takes on the appearance and color of sand. Skills: A} Hand Seals B} ------- 1) 2) 3) History The tale of Sakakida Hideko is one of bare and common nature. However, much of interests are the minor details of his origins. Born into the Sakakida clan just eleven months after his older brother, Sakakida Yangu. Some say the KazeKage of the village was present during his birth, something few can hold as an honor. Hideko is considered the child of the Clan, a title held by Yangu for less then a year. Although several months separate the two, Hideko and Yangu are considered twins by many of the villagers. Not only is their appearance rather similar, but also their personality seems to be a mirror image of the other. Their father, a Chuunin and respected member of the village, referred to his two and only sons as his Atae Myouto. The two were always subject to pinches and pokes for their charm and natural beauty. It would seem they would never separate as they made each other complete, however, with the Genin Exams came great change within the Myouto. Yangu showed much more aptitude in the ways of the Shinobi. The pair’s Sensei gave much scorn to Hideko for never reaching his brother’s greatness. Slowly the younger one began to live in the shadow of his brother, who many hailed as the next great Jonin. The praises began to swell Yangu’s head, causing him to become arrogant and boastful. Hideko grew to despise his older brother, who seemed to treat his sibling as the dirt beneath his feet. Although the tension began to build, no villager could admit to realizing the feud, not even the brothers’ own parents. Soon the hatred became unstable, as Hideko grew angered by his failing and his brother’s success. All this changed upon one fateful day. One morning after their daily chores about town, Yangu began to pester his younger brother with words that continued to build Hideko’s inner rage. Hateful words and prods with Yangu’s staff unleashed his younger brother’s wrath as Hideko drew his own staff and began to attack wildly. The two began a heavily one-sided bout; much was in favor of Yangu. The battle drew quite the crowd as they watched years of rage be drained before them. However, the battle didn’t last forever, as Yangu skillfully took down his younger brother. And with a great distaste in his mouth he towered over Hideko, no words leaving his lips as he reached for a kunai that lay in his pockets. Reaching forward to the younger one’s throat he said with a strange voice, “You were a fool to attack me, now you shall bear the sign for all the village to see.” And began to etch the word Ahou with Hideko’s throat as the canvas. The deed was complete as Yangu stood from his position, and tossed the bloody kunai upon his brother’s shirt, which Hideko still keeps today. The crowd grew in anger of Yangu’s actions and began to yell at the young yet skillful Genin. The elder brother stood unopposed and only turned to the crowd to speak these few words, “Hideko isn’t the only fool.” And with those words he deserted his Village, a Nukenin and feared Shinobi. To this day the young Missing-nin’s location is unknown. The marks Yangu left upon Hideko grew permanent and lost a valued trait with the scar, his voice. No longer able to speak, his peers ridicule him just as Yangu had. Hideko, now bears not only the scars and disabilities, but now carries the title, “Musei Ahou”. The months after his brother’s disappearance proved to be his darkest under such torment. However, after a time the pain had passed and Hideko now lives a more normal life. With the special training from a village Jonin, Hideko has learned to live without words. His Jutsus may be completed without muttering a word and the young boy has learned to express himself in a simpler manner without speech. His parents have forgotten of Yangu, only holding him as a demon that has left their sight, and now live happily with Hideko. Now the young Genin trains to surpass the abilities of his lost brother, in hopes of one day meeting Yangu for one last duel. No longer is he considered a brother, but a shadowed rival which the young one is yet to confront. |

Kenji could now make at least one water clone...but it was still unstable...at this level it would be a complete waste of energy. He tried a more times, each time holding it for a second, sometimes two, longer. He smiled with pride, knowing he was that much closer to accomplishing his currect goal. He had already accomplished so much today, it almost didn't seem real! |

Kenji was beginning to feel the effects of Chakra deplition. His movement were slightly sluggish, and his breath was growing heavy. But he wasn't about to give up now...he had to learn this. The Chuunin exams were only a short while away, and he had to be absolutly ready. He was not going to fall in that trial, like so many before him. Where others had failed, he would succeed. No Isamu had EVER fallen during any exam, and he wasn't about to either. |

Kenji kept on training, each time increasing in skill. He could manage 2 water clones for about a minute before they became unstable. His Chakra was beginning to run out on him, but he had energy to spare still. As he was about to try again, Hero stopped him. "Kenji...I think you've got that concept down. Next step is getting them to move. See if you can get one to walk to me." with that the Hero walked about 30 feet away from Kenji, and nodded. Kenji was ready for the next trial. |

Kenji only made one Water clone this time...after performing the justu he concentrated his energy onto the Clone..but he put too much into it and it exploded. He sighed and tried again...but this time he didn't give it enough and it became unstable and collapsed into a puddle. His determination at its max, he did the jutsu again, and then, giving it his all, he became one with the clone and had it move. But after about 6 feet into it he flinched and the clone gave out. But he was glad, he was making progress. |

By the third try, Kenji had managed to get clone all the way to the Hero...but that was only the beginning. Controlling one wasn't enough. "Hah, that was just a warm-up! Now get 6 over to me!" Said the hero, in a 'matter-of-fact' manner. Kenji stepped back by the sudden increase in demands. Just getting one over there was hard enough, but six?! Could he even make six? "Oh yeah...and you have to have them arrive at the same time. Ready?" Hero smiled...he knew Kenji could do it...if he tried. Kenji sighed...will this training never end? |

Kenji decided if he was asked to do something so hard, the hero must know he can do it. That faith in him reminded him why he was doing this. To be the Hero of the village when his time came. That was his dream. He would live up to his family name. Kenji, with a very loud warcry, performed the jutsu in record time, and as his clones lined up, he pointed his finger towards the hero, and they all charged at him, but after about 12 feet, they started to lose their shape. Kenji couldn't afford that, so he focused more. Luckly, he didn't overdo it, and they all made it. The Hero clapped as Kenji let the clones dissipate. The Hero smiled, "Well done Kenji...you've only got one test left..." Kenji looked sternly at the Hero..."and that would be?" |

The Hero smiled mischeviously...this last challeng would be a true test of his skills. "You...my young friend...will have to slap me across the face...with one of your water clones. That won't be too hard for widdle kenji, will it?" He stuck his toung out as he finished the last word, in a quite mocking manner. Kenji didn't find the humor in it, and performed the Jutsu...breathing heavily, he eyed the Hero, watching for any tricks. He wouldn't fail at this...not a chance! His 3 Water clones charged, one taking to the air as the other two flanked him. |

Kenji watched in awe as his water clones suddenly exploded. He was using too much charka again! Kenji growled at himself, knowing the Hero knew this would happen. He sighed and tried again, this time having all three of them attack by air. But the hero quickly took care of them all with a roundhouse kick. Kenji cursed...Hero could keep this up all day if he wanted to, and Kenji was so close to passing out he was dizzy. Everything was starting to go dark..but he had to do this...it wasn't a question any more...it had to be done! Then he remembered...Hero said a clone had to hit him in the face...but he didn't say anything about Kenji helping! He summoned 10 Water clones this time...it was either Hero or him at this point....if this failed he would surely pass out from exaustion...in fact he probably should have a long time ago, but something was driving him...something unexplainable. Maybe it was his grandfathers spirit aiding him...who knows... The real kenji, along with all the others, pulled out their chains simulntainously and wrapped up Hero, a move even a Hokage level Ninja didn't expect from a novice. Then his last...somewhat warped Clone, merely walked up to Hero and lightly slapped him across the face...then they all dissapaited and kenji...smiling as much as he could, fell to the ground and passed out. The look on his face was priceless, the pure awe of seeing his goal be fufilled...it warmed the heart. |

Gaara, please don't tell people what they can or can't do for the Water Clone is from Waterfall, Rain and Mist. In the series you see it used from Rain and Mist village, but seeing no one has any knowledge about the Waterfall village I had to make up information, so allow him to roleplay in peace. This is your public warning gaara, break rules and interfeer with people trying to interfeer with their posts again and I will have to give you a warning notch :) |
