Apocalypse (Lv4)
|
The Sakakida Clan Name: Sakakida Hair Color: Auburn Eye Color: Dark Brown Bloodline Limit Etai Iki (Nature’s Breath) Ability: The Sakakida have grown highly attuned to one of the key forces of nature that surrounds them upon everyday life, the wind. Their bond with the power has become so incredibly powerful that they have learned to control this unpredictable force. Unknown how they have learned to do so is partly credited as well to the mysteries that embody Chakra. This power varies in skill depending on the user, from gentle breezes to blistering winds. The Sakakida have found many odd uses for such a gifted talent and other then the Kaze Naminori, it is the most noticeable ability a Sakakida possesses. Special Jutsu Kaze Naminori no Jutsu (The Art of Wind Surfing) Description: One of the most peculiar Jutsus known throughout the land. With the simple hand seal of the Bird, the Sakakida user is immediately uplifted by a strong upwards draft. From then on the user may control the currents of the wind in such an influential manner that it appears they are flying. This skill, similar to the Etai Iki, requires a fine and precise control of the wind as it acts in the most direct manners to simulate flight. Although effective in numerous ways, this Jutsu is taxing to the inexperienced and only ceases when the Shinobi touches down or their entire Chakra supply is drained from their body. Effect: Allows the user to “ride the winds”, in effect flying with complete control of direction. Cost: 5 per post Storm Clone Jutsu [NJ] Description/Seals: [Bird, Ram, Tiger] Creates a clone from wind and chakra. This clone looks like the creator, except it is very pale compared to anything. It can also do damage, just as many other clones. It can also use weapons tossed to it from the creator. The Storm Clone can even take two hits. Only one if it is hard. When a Storm Clone is destroyed, it creates a whirlwind effect, knocking enemies from their feet. Each Storm Clone has 1/3 of the creator's stats. It also requires skill with the Etai Iki to pull off. Requirements: Ninjutsu 15, Wind 10, Bloodline 10 Effect: Creates wind clones that explode on impact. Max Number of Clones active at a time is three. Cost: 10 Per Clone Four Winds Crush [NJ] Description/Seals: [Dragon, Rooster, Tiger, Bird] This Jutsu creates four different man-sized cyclones around the target of the attack. They are each to a different direction from the enemy. One is north; the other is south, etcetera, and etcetera. Whenever the user of this Jutsu wishes, all four cyclones will diverge and rush in on the opponent, then crush him within four spinning cyclones. The force alone can splinter bones, and the wind effect can tear your clothes and scratch you. Requirements: Ninjutsu 15, Bloodline 15, Wind 15 Effect: Creates four cyclones that crush a targeted foe. Cost: 12 Chakra Sakakida Fist [TJ] Description/Seals: [None] This is a Taijutsu style in which after every strike, say with a fist, a small blast of wind can be sent at the enemy through that impact zone. The gust is controlled with the mind, so you can release the wind whenever you want. These small gusts can add an extra punch to your punch, and scratch the enemy. These gusts can even blow the enemy back, setting them up for another attack. This Taijutsu style is reserved for Sakakida, mainly Haru. Requirements: Taijutsu 15, Bloodline 15, Wind 15 Effect: Adds a wind gust after effect to every strike. Cost: .5 Chakra per blow. Grace of the Sakakida [Ability] Description/Seals: [None] After someone has become every in tune with the wind, with their Etai Iki, they are able to tap into the wind and use it to help them in a fight. When a Sakakida wishes, he may petition for the wind's aid. When this is activated, the wind pushes the ninja to be faster, and more agile. Requirements: Agility 15, Bloodline 15, Wind 15 Effect: When activated, adds a bonus 5 to the user's agility for that post. Cost: 2 Chakra per post used. Description of Clan Blending in with a crowd, it is next to impossible to point out a Sakakida from a group of people. There hair varies slightly from a light brown tint to that of auburn. Their eyes follow suit with their hair in that they are typically dark brown. Those of the Sakakida Clan are of slightly above average height and transversely of below average weight, although some can lose control of their eating habits, such is the norm for all denizens of Earth. And perhaps the only distinctive feature many have noted is that each of the Clan has an indescribable beauty about them, not by appearance, but by an unexplainable aura surrounding them. With a great enough focus, one could discern wisps of smoke seeming to cling to the Sakakida, a unique color for each individual. A rather mundane Clan in appearance, lacking eyes of fire or hair of steel, it is their orthodox appearance that seems to separate them from the unorthodox majority. History of Clan Ironic that in most cases the hero of a tale is the one who wishes at first to be but a simple bystander, unnoticed by the populace. Such can be said of those with Sakakida blood coursing through their veins. A group of people widely known for their pacifist nature have twisted from said beliefs to that of a lost Clan and then once more revitalized as a group who may have greater effect upon the Earth as one would have at first estimated. The humble tale begins many years ago within the desert plains, where a Village Hidden in the Sand once reigned supreme over the coerce terrain. The individual was a Jounin of the Village who went by the name of Meiji, a man who oftly kept to himself and his studies of one of nature’s most key elements, the wind. It was this force, the Etai Iki he later coined it within his journal, that the Hermit devoted much of his time. As the years passed he soon learned to utilize the Etai Iki in a manner much like he would his own Chakra. It was at that moment that a sort of bonding occurred, the Etai Iki passed through Meiji and in a manner sealed its secrets within his crimson blood. The Sakakida, a name which held little meaning, soon grew to form great in numbers, the Jounin’s offspring and their own children and so on and so forth soon possessed the same traits. The once humble Shinobi soon found himself the first Head of a budding Clan, his title now expanding to that of Sakakida Meiji of the Wind. His knowledge and wisdom seemed to pass like a wildfire throughout the many children of the Clan as his ideals of pacifism and passive aggressiveness soon became the mainstay belief of those who followed the Etai Iki. The years passed as the Sakakida continue to become a large contingent within the Sand Village, their name quickly spreading through the reaches of the Continent, yet still they remained a group of rather “out of touch” individuals. The song remained the same until one fateful day, the death of Meiji. It was a day of passionate mourning for the man who had created so much, something of which the new Head, a man by the name of Kamidori, never allowed the people to forget. It seemed in whichever way Kamidori traveled, he spoke of Meiji’s teachings and beliefs, although hypocritical it would seem. The man, Kamidori of the Desert, was a short-tempered man who carried his emotions upon his sleeves. His aggressive nature was what many considered unorthodox and at times even greatly unappreciated. However, the Head was not an ignorant man and new of this. His ill-tempered rants became more and more frequent just the same as his violent nature until one day, which many would say the first casualty of the Sakakida was enacted. Those who oversaw the Village felt Kamidori to be too dangerous of a man to remain within their borders, and so with little in the way of debate they chose to expel him from their home. Kamidori, a man who seemed to be fueled by violence, simply did as he was told and entered the Desert, a few influenced Sakakida following suit, never to be seen again, or at least as themselves. These few who had adopted the desert as their home as well shifted their names in a manner of abandoning the Sakakida and their beliefs. These sand dwellers soon came to be known as the Yokokaze, and their reign over the sand became apparent through time. However, it was the day that followed Kamidori and the Yokokaze departure that the Sakakida dipped into a state of serenity once more, this being at the hands of a man named Falkane, the Warrior of Life. Once more it seemed the predecessor was a dramatic change from the former. Falkane was a man of peaceful nature and once more brought the Sakakida into a pacifist state. A decade past beneath the judgment of Falkane and the only noteworthy event which the Clan could be linked to was that of a minor rebellion. An individual, nameless within the Sakakida, chose to overstep his bounds and began to preach of violence once more, a shadow of Kamidori. It was he who spat at the feet of Falkane, even challenging the old man to raise arms, though the Head refused. It was then that the cursing man left the Sakakida as well as the village, those few who held similar beliefs following in his footsteps. The Aramaki Clan was formed, an alter ego of the Sakakida, though truly little was ever seen of them again. With the passing of Falkane once more a new Head was in need, but it was two who stepped up to the plea. Kazekuno the Peacemaker and his brother Eagleis of the Realm for the first time agreed to act as equal Heads to the Sakakida House, a judgment call that would later bring about the downfall of the Sakakida. With the combined departures of the Yokokaze and the Aramaki, it seemed the populous began to dwindle. Where one would see the need of change, the other clung to tradition. Years were spent of arguing between Kazekuno and Eagleis, yet no act was taken to fend off the threat of endangerment. Soon the Village of the Sand disappeared as well as the identities of the Sakakida, the Head Brethren passing to little remorse. A final Head was installed, a Shinobi many considered the most powerful Sakakida to grace the Earth. Rhavin signed the parchment in a little shack in a location of no distinction, the final true holding of the Sakakida. Only three were there to witness his installment, and even they soon seemed to disappear. The powerful Shinobi soon found himself of no use, growing old within a home of no value with only countless numbers of strange artifacts within the home. Rhavin of the Lost lived a lonely life and rule over a people long since to have been forgotten or so spread thin that their seemed no unity. A shame, as this soon drove the man to a form of devoted insanity. Searching, tracking, or perhaps even hunting countless members of the Clan, a growing sickness, which was later attributed to the same which led to the deaths of all the Heads, caused him to lose sense of defeat as he continued to search for the one man he believed held the capability to revive the Clan he was intended to rule. And it was when he lay upon his deathbed that he had found such a man, a solemn man such as himself, who seemed to never remain in the same location. Indeed, Sakakida Hideko was that sole individual whom Rhavin had searched for oh so long. With an invitation to his home, Hideko soon found himself kneeling before the Head of his household. It was within that hour that Rhavin granted the young man power to lead their people, just moments before passing. Almost immediately Hideko set out to do as the old man had inscribed and rather hurriedly began to call for several of those who shared his blood. A grand meeting was arranged, and much had quickly changed as the Assembly took place. The Aramaki, now under the ruling of a powerful Shinobi named Sammael, once more took the name of the Sakakida. The Yokokaze abruptly ended their nomadic ways and soon became a force of warriors who safeguarded those who were led by the Etai Iki. And the Village Hidden in the Mirage was hereby christened the new home of the Sakakida. The Kenbutsunnin, Hideko, soon found himself the leader of a people united once more. The once pacifist nature which began with the teachings of Meiji, soon turned to the near war-like state of people who’s techniques seemed to increase in number rather quickly, a young man by the name of Harutomo contorted the Etai Iki into ways intended to do physical damage to a Sakakida’s opponents. And what of the Head, Hideko? Although the Mirage Village was to become the mainstay of the Sakakida, it seemed the man granted power by Rhavin was nowhere in sight. Upon occasion he would visit the Village though he left almost the entirety of his power to the likes of Sammael and Jei, the Chief of the Yokokaze. This pair of once detached individuals soon became the informal Heads of the Sakakida, with Harutomo of the Mirage acting as a sort of guide. This triumvirate acted in full authority, with only Hideko overstepping their rulings. And it would seem that with these three strong men that the Sakakida were soon to flourish once more. Once united, then lost, now strong. |
