The clear, silver moon stood high in the air. The night sky was cloudless, with the stars able to be seen. The night was quiet, lonely. Heru was perched on a tall building on this night. He had his bow in his hands, and an arrow lying next to him. His quiver was strapped to his back, with nineteen arrows in it. With little noise Heru put his bow down in front of him. He was sitting on his knees, with his arms and hands stretched to the ground. From a distance, or from the bottom of the building, Heru looked like a wolf. His wolf hood reflected the moon light off it's silver fur. Down below, not many people were walking. There's the night guard, and... well who is that? Heru asked himself. There was someone coming out of the building, that he himself was perched on.

The man was just an ordinary man. There was nothing special about him, but Heru hadn't seen him enter. Heru had been perched upon this building since early this morning, when he walked through the gates of the city. Heru chuckled at his memory of this morning.

The gates opening, and what seemed to be a wolf walked through. His head was down, and the guard approached it immediatly. " Hey! Get outta here! We don't need anyone freaking out the people! ' He yelled, and Heru looked up from his hood. The man jumped back, when realizing it was a young man underneath the hood of a wolf. The man immediatly apolagized and hurried away, quite scared.

Heru chuckled, and brought himself back to present. He focused focused on the man, and slid down the ladder of the building he was on. The man was walking away and was in a hurry. Heru smiled, Maybe something intresting will happen. Heru stayed a reasonable distance from his pursuit. The man took a quick turn through an alleyway. Heru quickened his pace, trying not to seem suspicious. He turned into the alleyway only to find nothing. " Dam! " whispered Heru. Heru walked up to an old, over turned, wooden table. Heru turned it up on it's feet, and realized why it was thrown back here. It had a hole that was eaten through the table, obviously done by turmites. Heru shrugged, and pulled up a make shift seat, out of a bucket. He sat there, focusing his chakara in his hands. As liquid iron seeped out of his hands, Heru's attention was cought by something. Looking up quickly, Heru thought he heard something.

It was the click of boots onto the ground.
"That's an interesting trick... Very interesting...." a young teen spoke, Stepping out of the shadows. The light of the moon gave off an eerie glow to his white skin, and a little glint in his brown eyes.

Hota usually never went out at night like this, but tonight he felt a little.. Frisky, you might say. He had been watching this fellow ever since he came into the alley.
"Don't be alarmed, I'm not here to hurt you." Hota assured. He didn't want this stranger to attack him out of 'self defense'
"Just merely wishing to start a conversation."

"Don't be alarmed, I'm not here to hurt you." said the ither boy. The boy seemed about the same age of Heru. The boy was wearing strange clothes, very strange clothes. He was dressed up as a doctor. But he was clearly to young, and inexperianced to help anyone. The boy aslo had a strange hair cut. What the hell does this fool want?! This will be intresting, I might be able to have some fun with him. Heru chuckled at this thought. The other boy was obviously spying on him. This wasn't pleasing Heru. Sure he spys on alot of people, and other things, but that doesn't mean it's O.K. The boy disappointed Heru though, he wasn't very strong by the looks. Sure you could see he had muscle, but you could tell that he couldn't take a hit very well. Heru smiled, showing fanglike teeth to the other boy. Heru put his wolf hood back on, and jumped up from the bucket he sat on. He disapeared from the alley. Or so it seemed. All that was left was a pointed iron pike, cold and sharp.

The roof of the building in the alley way smelled rusty and old. It had shingles, that were old. Worn away from various weather changes, the roof could cave in with little resistance. Heru layed atop it, watching the boy down below. His bow in his hands and an arrow ready to shoot, Heru waited for the boy to do something. Such a strange weak boy. this will be fun. thought Heru smiling his wolfish grin.

"By the actions you are taking... I do beleive it seems you wish to spar. Allright.." Hota paused. "I'll play your little game. But, How 'bout a catch? No hand-to-hand combat, nah.... That's no fun. Lets play.. Tag!" Hota grinned. He'd done this dozens of times with his family.

You're able to roam freely, using any skills you have to hide or dodge the person who is it. And the 'it' can use any sort of weaponry available to catch his opponent.

"Would you care to start? Or shall I?" Hota stared upwards into the starry sky. His plan was beginning to unfold in his head.

((Watch your meta-gaming.))

Pulling back the string of the bow with the arrow in place, Heru could feel the tickly feather on his cheek. He leveled out his aim. This insolent fool. He wants to play? Who said I wanted to play? I never did. I don't like to play together. I play with the person, not the person play with me. We'll show him not to be spying on people pf my kind. He chuckled and said, " So you would like to play? I'll let you know that I don't play by the rules. You know, your an insolent waste to this world. I think I might have to use your waste to feed the birds and rats of this very alley. " The feathery tickle was gone with a Shunk. The arrow was now speeding towards the other boy's left peck. The light stinging pain that Heru prefered on his right cheek would leave another scar over all the others. A little blood driped from his scratch, but Heru ignored it. He laughed some more, " So, are you hurt? " The arrow would be impossible, to block or dodge by someone unskilled in speed, or if he was without a shield.

ooc:// Errr, ya, sorry... >.o //

Hota wasn't sure what to do, So he began to duck, but the arrow nailed his left arm. This had come to a shock to him. Usually, people fell straight into his plan.... But this was different. This boy was different.
"Just barely... Your arrow only peirced my arm... No serious damage done, unless it happened to have punctured an arterty. But, by the looks of it, I should be fine if I keep it there." Hota smirked. His years of training had done him well. He could spot a heart attack from a mile away.

He unsheathed his Katana, ready for another arrow to be shot at any moment. He leaped up onto the opposite roof. Down below he was at a drastic disadvantage, But now he could see Heru.

The boy wasable to be seen by Heru even easier now. He had jumped up onto the roof below him on the opposite side. His sword, which looked to be some kind of katana, glinted in the moonlight. The fool was going to take his chances at striking the arrows then? Well that's going to be hard, when he told me where the arrow struck him. I now know that he won't be possible to strike it. All he can do now is choose where I hit him. Even that will be hard. Heh, fool, why did he try to spy on me anyway? He just dug his own grave. Sliding another arrow out from his quiver, Heru could feel the familiar feathers tickle his hand. The other boy was just putting himself in a better position to be shot. Heru put the other arrow into place. Pulled back the string with little trouble. The arrow would sink in farther now that the boy was closer. More damaging. Why put yourself in such a better position to be shot? I think I'll take out his other arm as well. For get that, I'm going to aim for the heart. " Do you still think I'm playing with you boy? Because I'm here to kill, not play. Well in a way it's playing for me! " announced Heru as he left the arrow fly towards the other boy's right peck. If it were to hit that exact spot, it would disable his righ arm. If hit too far to the left it would kill the boy, striking his heart. If hit any farther to the right, it would strike his arm, making his arms useless. Any higher would hit the neck. This was a perfect shot, though chances of missing or dodging were possible. It all depends on whether the other boy saw him raise his bow in time, before he shot the disabling arrow. " Are you hurt boy? " Laughed Heru.

ooc:// Really really Sorry about the delay. ><..... //

Hota listed as Heru slid an arrow, and pulled back the string. He took this as the chance to flee. He ducked and rushed to the side of the building, just as the arrow slit his right arm. A small drop of blood ran down his arm.
"Then it's settled, I take no mercy!" Hota called. This, of course, was a lie. He never liked killing. Not even his worst enemies.
He took out several kunai, tossing them Heru's way. After the last kunai had left his hand, He took a daring leap to the next building. He nearly slipped, but he puled himself up just in time.
With Katana in hand, he stared face to face with Heru, running in to peirce his torso with the katana.

Something came at him, and fast. Heru gasped out in pain as something hit him in the left arm. Kunai. He pulled it out grunting in pain. He held it tight in his hands. There was harsh breathing and heavy footsteps. It was the boy. He was coming right at him. How did he?! He couldn't have made that jump! Heru was amazed. Someone of that boy's build should not be able to make it across logically. But, then again, it is possible. Reacting quickly, Heru jumped up in the air. He came down hard on the old roof. Heru fell through, just as the boy stepped upon him. The ground was hard.

The building was abandoned. Heru had guessed due to the old, rusty, roof. It was almost pitch balck in the building. No windows, and only one doorway. The building was all one room. The only light, was moon light sining in through pockets in the roof, and the new hole that Heru made. He was underneath a pile of rubble. Bits of wood and cement covered his entire body. Heru left arm was in worse pain, for gravel and dust made it's way into the wound. Heru tried to reach for his canteen in his back pouch, but he couldn't move his arms that well. The most he could do was dig himself out. Heru felt liquid seeping through the pouch into his shirt. Great, now it looks like I'm pissed myself. Heh not that it matters, by the looks of it you can't see much in this building. Heru began to dig his way out. The gravel was rough on his hands, and when he broke through to the surface his hands were scratched up. Standing up now, Heru patted down his battered body. He quickly found a dark space in a corner. It was pitch black where he now crouched, and Heru scanned the room for the other boy.

'Shouldn't have taken out the kunai.... Fool.' Hota noticed as Heru and himself fell into the building. Quickly after impact, Hota rushed out into the dark, hiding behind a crumbling door way. He peered into the room. Heru was just getting up.
Hota's wound began to sting severely because of the stale, dusty air, causing his arm to twitch with pain. This made a soft rustling noise, only noticable by those with accurate hearing. Although it could barely be heard, Hota had practically given away his spot. He slowly reached into his pockets, Pulling out several more kunai, making a softer clinking sound.
'Damn! Why am I so clumsy?' Hota thought, about to kick himself for his lack of training. He was just a beginner, he had barely no skills whatsoever as a ninja, and he had allready caught himself up in this.

Heru's arm was in major pain. He fumbled for his canteen. He hoped it had enough water out to clean his wound. The other boy was in the room. Heru knew this, for there were footprints in the dusty cement. They lead to a dark area on the other side of the room. It was pitch black over there as well, so Heru was unable to see him. He unscrewed the metal cap from his canteen, and poured what was left of his water into his wound. He gasped in pain, as he cleaned off a finger and stuck it into the wound. He took out a few bloody little rocks, that Heru knew were in there. He was sure there was more, but the pain was too great to be able to get the rest out. He poured the last of his water into the wound again, and ripped a strip of cloth from his pants. He wrapped it tightly around his wound. He tied a tight knot, and pulled it tighter. His arm could move fine now, but there was a stining pain around the wound.

Heru heard the light cling of metal tap eachother, and stared at the area that it came from. There was a slight figure able to be seen. Or Heru thought it was a figure, the dark could be playing tricks on him. Either way, he knew something was over there that made that noise. There was some scuttling, and Heru was sure the boy was over there. He was proved wrong though, when a rat came squeaking from the area, waldaling into the light. Dam! Thought Heru, slightly letting up his grip on a kunai. Heru stopped moving, and looked around again. He stopped breathing, listening to other sounds that were not from the rat. Then he heard the breathing of the boy. He couldn't pin point the noise, but he now knew for a fact that the boy was in the room. Heru breathed again, but much lighter. He remained in his kneeling position, waiting for the boy to make a more clear sound.

Hota began to fear Heru had spotted him out, as he began to glance in his direction. Then a rat scattered from the same place he was in, and his fears were released.
'Thank goodness.....At least he can take care of that wound.. ' He thought, Watching him wrap it tightly. He tightened his grip on the Kunai he held in his hand. He either gave away his spot by attacking, or Heru found Hota himself.
'Might as well..' Hota threw the kunai one by one, as he always had. He heard a few clink to the floor. He could barely aim in the dark, The moon gave off little light to see. He snarled a little at his clumsiness. This wasn't going as he'd planned.
Hota rushed out of his spot, Katana in his right hand.
"I really don't want to fight, you know... But you give me no choice!" He screamed.

(( Very very very sorry for the long wait. I've been pretty busy. ))

Heru almost burst out laughing as the kunai missed him by a long shot. He almost cried at the other boy's foolish charge. This is just to sad. I must admire though his courage, and faith in his body. Rolling to the left to pick up the other kunai the boy threw, he chucked the kunai that was in his hands. It was a light through, mainly at the boy's chest. It would be impossible though to block, for the dark would give it cover for to long before it would shine in the moonlight patches for the boy to block. Yet missing was always an option. He patted the ground looking for the other kunai. Gotcha! His hand wrapped around the metal dagger and jumped to his feet. Dust swirled up as he did this, and Heru felt it seep through his nose, as he breathed. It was a itchy, tickling feeling. Heru had to do all that he could to keep himself from sneezing." Ahh...ahhhh...ahhhh-chooo! " He couldn't hold it in. Dammit!!! How could I have! React..." NOW! " He ran out of the dark, charging into the other boy. He was fast, and he had quickly left his dark corner, for which he was hiding in. He jumped up into the air, his kunai high, aiming to come down on the boy.
