Mk. At my high school, we're having a Cabaret night coming up at the end of... May, I believe (we just decided on it today). Basically, it's a show where the choir groups perform one song from a popular musical, and the rest of the night is left to solos. Like the idiot I am, I signed up for a solo and I don't know what song I want!

These are the ones I'm considering:

"No Good Deed" from the musical Wicked
"Defying Gravity" from the musical Wicked
"Never Let this Go" by Paramore
"Speeding Cars" by Imogen Heap
"Hide and Seek" by Imogen Heap
"Layla (acoustic)" by Eric Clapton
"Nobody Puts Baby in the Corner (acoustic)" by Fall Out Boy
"Your Call" by Secondhand Serenade
"Come What May" from the movie Moulin Rouge

So... what do you lot think? Any you think would be good? I'm an “omni-vocalist" -inside joke- and female, so I can't really sing hard rock... xD

Any you guys think might be good to hear?

Hopefully I'll figure out a way to post the video or a sound clip from it! I'm not exactly technologically uber. (:

... and yes, I can actually sing. (:
At least, that's what my teacher said... *shifty eyes*

I would suggest Eric Clapton's piece "Layla".

We just had a dinner theater at my school. We had tons of skits and songs and stuff. My parents wouldnt let me be in it though. I think something from Wicked. Ive heard that it was a great musical.
