My friends call me Galileo or "Gal" for short.
|
Name: Sabaku, Takara Gender: female Age: 14 Clan: Sabaku Preferred Jutsu Type: Bloodline Jutsu Personality: Takara is an unpredictable ninja in a chaotic and unstable manner that more than crosses the borders of insanity. Takara is interested in one thing only and that is keeping herself entertained as boredom can cause her severe frustration that leads into an uncontrollable and seemingly unprovoked fit of rage. For Takara, remaining entertained is a difficult task because she never finds enjoyment out of one thing for long. It requires a great deal of "creativity", as Takara calls it, on her behalf to invent new "activities" for herself. These activities can be hazardous to those around Takara including friends, family, allies, innocents, and enemies. Takara is not a constant threat to the lives of others as she finds herself being amused by other things such as harmless pranks or productive activities such as drawing and painting picture or solving puzzles. Of course, failure to succeed at an activity causes Takara unbearable amounts of seemingly unprovoked stress that will also cause her to go into an uncontrollable fit of rage. To Takara, being a ninja is the greatest entertainment of all and usually keeps to herself while training. She believes that the unpredictable and chaotic lifestyle of a ninja is quite appealing. Also being a ninja provides several opportunities in multiple fields so that she will rarely grow bored of it. Whenever Takara becomes angry, it is not for long because she finds inspiration in her own fury. Rather than continuing to be angry, she puts on a maniacal smile and carries on to inflict damage on anyone and anything nearby to satisfy herself. Fortunately, Takara is not a very collected person as her mind wanders so much that it sometimes makes it easy for others to deceive her. Sometimes, Takara can be manipulated into performing a task, but control over her is temporary. Discovering that she has been tricked or manipulated will bring about unpredictable results on Takara’s part. Additionally, preventing her from performing any of her "activities" will cause her to turn against anyone around her. An interesting fact about Takara is that even though she inflicts excruciating amounts of pain on others to those she attacks, she always holds back. She never causes permanent harm or severe damage against anyone and does not end their life. She believes that if she hurts people too badly or kills them, then she will have no one left to play with anymore. As for receiving pain during a battle, it intrigues her to know the sensations she inflicts upon others and readily accepts almost any form of agony. Any new form of pain is exciting for Takara as she uses it as inspiration for devising new ways of fighting her opponents. Appearance: There is hardly anything average about Takara’s appearance with the exception of her height. Many people, including certain girls her age tower her mere height of five feet and eleven inches, but this does not disturb her. Rather, Takara is satisfied by the fact that she is neither taller nor shorter than she should be. In addition to her height, Takara weighs exactly one-hundred and one pounds and while there are other girls who weigh more, Takara is anything but a vain child. Once again she is content with her body in knowing that she is no skinnier and weighs as much as she does. Of course, it is not expected of someone who has forced herself to survive the desert alone for years to weigh a lot. Her lack of sustenance during her years of struggling to survive in the desert is apparent through her somewhat scrawny physique. Her limited diet of the animal inhabitants of the desert including insects, snakes, various reptiles, rabbits, rodents, and occasional birds is to blame for her lacking in weight. Additionally, the accumulation of hours spent without shade and completely exposed to the desert heat has caused the sun to bake her skin evenly until it became tanned with an exotic golden tone. The only visible aspects about Takara that remained unaffected by the sun are her icy blue eyes and bright red hair as if to testify to her relation to her ancestor Gaara. She keeps her hair long, straight, and flowing inches past her shoulders. Takara normally dresses herself in plain desert attire because even through her insanity, she admits that the effects of the desert are a bit irritating when improperly dressed. She wears a long-sleeved white shirt that covers most of her arms and her entire torso. The shirt she wears is rather tight, but loose enough so as not to constrict her movements. The sleeves of her shirt end about midway along her wrists where a pair of white fingerless gloves can be seen. She covers her hands to hide them from the sun, but exposes her fingers because gloves make it difficult to maintain a grip on anything. She also wears near-skintight pants that share the same shade of white as her shirt and gloves. The pant legs toward her ankles are tucked away beneath a pair of white leather boots to prevent sand from entering her clothing and weighing her down. For head protection from heat, she wears a white hood over that hangs just above her eyes. As for her eyes, she wears an unusual pair of sun glasses that have an outdated white plastic butterfly frame and dark red lenses to shield her eyes from the blinding sun. Lastly, a thin white scarf is sometimes draped over her mouth to keep her from inhaling sand. The fabric within her outfit is thin and allows air to pass through to eliminate some of the surrounding heat. Money: 100 Yen Personal Status Rank: Genin Chakra: 50 (Cloud told me that I get a +10 stat boost for participating in NSL before.) Requirements: 5 Sand 5 Ninjutsu Effect: Defends Cost: 6 Genjutsu None Taijutsu None Medical Jutsu None Summoning Jutsu Sand Clone [SJ] Description/Seals: [Rat, Bird, Rat, Snake] You can create a Clone of you, made completely out of sand. The catch on this one is. It does not lower your stats to make this one, but it does half 1/5th of your stats and you cannot move when you summon this Clone. That is what makes this clone different, for it is a Summon. You can summon more Clones, but only one every two posts. Note the clones look like sand, but shaped like you. Requirements: 5 Sand 5 Summon Effect: Summons a clone of you out of sand that has 1/3rd of your stats but has 25 Chakra. Once it depletes the Chakra, it is killed. Cost: 9 Weapon Jutsu None Bloodline Limit Shield of Sabaku: Description: [Natural] A sort of double-edge sword, this amazing Bloodline Limit allows the user to control and manipulate sand around her. The sand acts on its own accord spiraling around the user at high speeds, deflecting all light weaponry and most Taijutsu, Heavy weaponry are slowed down considerable. Although the limit is quite powerful it comes with a cost if not monitored the user could easily run out of chakra in a battle especially if other jutsu are preformed through out the battle. Requirements: 10 Bloodline and 10 Sand Effect: When activated, A portion of sand automatically blocks attacks and reduces the damage. Light Weapons are easily deflected. Cost: Four every post used. Sand Manipulation Description: [Focus] The user possesses the ability to control all sands, whether it is drawing it in to surround her or sending it rushing at an object or opponent in a tidal wave. Of course this limit is limited by the source of sand it could prove quite powerful in the desert but produce little to nothing if in moist area or another area where sand is not located. The user can target and send a wave of sand at a foe from above it can even be deployed from below as long as the sand covers the area where the target is located. Requirements: 20 Bloodline and 10 Sand Effect: Allows the member to control the movement of Sand. At Twenty, one can mearly move it in small masses, but someone at 200 Bloodline could create a devastating Sand Storm that could cover an entire city in moments. Cost: 1 Every use. Sand creation Description: [Focus] The user is blessed with the ability to use the minerals in the ground and air to create grains of sand; the users level and the mineral source in the environment only limit the jutsu. Requirements: 25 Bloodline, 10 Sand Effect: By grounding up the earth underneath or by pulling small parts of sand from the air, one can create a small potion of sand around them. Cost: None Suna No Yoroi (Armor of Sand) Description/Seals: [Ram, Dragon, Boar]. This jutsu uses chakra to cover the user with a thin, but very dense, layer of protective sand. While a good defense, it puts an un-ignorable burden on the user's stamina, both through chakra absorption and the fact that the sand makes them heavier and hampers their movement. Requirements: Sand 10, Bloodline 10 Effect: Blocks great deals of damage, but cuts Stamina and Agility down to half. Cost: 15 every time used Sand Shield Description/Seal: [Bird, Tiger]. The sand rushes towards the user and creates a barrier around them. Capable of withstanding considerably strong attacks and projectiles, this sand shield can become stronger than steel. Avoiding it completely with extremely high-speed attacks, or merely overcoming the shield with incredible brute force can defeat it. Requirements: Sand 10, Bloodline 10 Cost: 5 Desert Imperial Funeral Description /Seal: [Tiger, Dragon, Bird, Boar] The user slams both hands palm down into the sand and emits powerful shockwaves that compact and greatly damage anything within the sand-covered area. Considering that the previous jutsu levels an entire forest, its soul purpose is to send debris along with the foe flying. The foe can be damaged by debris caught in the jutsu and ultimately if no escape is found the foe can be slammed into something solid with the force of a small automobile accident! Requirements: Sand 20, Bloodline 25 Cost: 15 Abilities Summon Chakra Description/Seals: [Focus, Tiger] One of the few abilities that requires a seal for concentration. This Ability increases your max Chakra by a set amount. Depending on your Stamina you can summon a load of chakra. For every five stamina you have you can summon two extra chakra points by focusing on it. You're forced to hold the seal of the tiger and focus on it to summon the chakra. The Chakra you summon stays with you in the thread until you use it. A quicker way to use it is to just use the seal of the tiger in front of the seals of a move you are currently using. Although, you must pause for a moment when you hold the seal of the tiger. Say you have ten Stamina you would be able to summon five Chakra., if you summon all of your spare chakra you are drained of your stamina and cannot fight very easily anymore. So using this is for large Jutsu's or for last resort. Requirements: Willpower- 5 Stamina- 5 Intelligence- 5 Effect: Summons Chakra. one Chakra every two stamina. Cost: None Equipment/Items Weapon Inventory None (I don't want my starting ranged weapons.) Items None History Neither Takara’s father nor her mother knew what to expect from their daughter when she was born considering her family carried a powerful bloodline trait that was feared by many. An ability that enabled a person to control sand while residing within a desert city was a terrifying aspect for the locals. Only Takara’s father knew that his wife was a member of the Sabaku clan and concealed that fact by legally changing his wife’s name through marriage. While Takara’s mother possessed the bloodline trait, she never used it and Takara’s father hoped that his daughter would not possess the bloodline limit like so many of her mother’s relatives did. It was possible that Takara would be unable to control and create sand. The possibility existed since her father and his family possessed no bloodline traits of their own including the bloodline limit that was solely reserved for the Sabaku clan. Takara’s father depended upon this possibility to save his daughter from her possible fate, he even passed out in fear the moment he discovered his wife had become pregnant with Takara. Fortunately, for her father, during the first four years of her life, Takara exhibited no signs of possessing her family’s bloodline traits, but her father was never satisfied by this. Her father wanted to ensure that his daughter lacked the Sabaku clan’s abilities and decided not to run the risk of activating something dormant within Takara’s blood. Considering potentially dangerous situations such as ninja training and ninja missions were perfect triggers for activating the traits of specific bloodlines, Takara’s father forbade her from enrolling into the ninja academy. Even after setting this precaution in place, Takara’s father was always tense and constantly stared at his daughter as if she was a bomb ready to detonate at any moment. Even after Takara became five-years-old and continued showing no indications of possessing her family’s bloodline traits, her father remained fearful With every day that passed, her father became stressed even further, knowing that for some children, it took awhile for their bloodline to trigger even without provocation through training or fighting. He would never be satisfied until the day his daughter died, but he loved Takara and never wished death upon her. In fact, he wanted Takara to remain his perfect little girl and untainted. He was not concerned with his own safety as he was for the safety of the innocence of his daughter. It seemed that his wish was being granted for quite some time as Takara lived the next three years of her life without Sabaku’s bloodline limit revealing itself through her body. From age five to age eight, Takara misbehaved in rather unusual manners including beating on a boy her age. She even informed her parents about her attack, confessing to her actions without being asked. Later on, she stole paint from school and splashed it against her bedroom walls, floor, ceiling, her toys, and her bed. Her parents believed that she was simply misbehaving like any other child her age and disciplined her accordingly to each bad act she committed. Unfortunately, Takara acted as though she had no conception of right or wrong and never comprehended any talks her parents gave her in hopes that she would cease misbehaving. Never once did either of Takara’s parents consider the possibility of their child being mentally ill until their daughter was finally eight years old without improving in her behavior. Her parents scheduled a visit with a psychiatrist a few months after her eighth birthday. After conversing with Takara for several minutes, the psychiatrist revealed to her parents some tragic news. Takara was exhibiting symptoms of multiple mental illnesses, but she did not possess all of the symptoms of any particular illness. Medicinal treatment was certainly not an option because Takara’s unimaginable mental instability could cause unpredictable side effects. Therapy would be difficult without studying the child further. Upon hearing the news, the fear of Takara’s father was augmented because not only did his daughter belong to the Sabaku clan, but she was also mentally ill. It was also possible that Takara would never be cured of her illness, whatever it was. This made one rather unstable combination that neither of Takara’s parents knew how to deal with. They could not even begin to imagine what they would do in case Takara unleashed her family’s bloodline trait. Fortunately, for Takara’s parents, her clan’s bloodline limit never activated within her body for the year that followed. Instead, she continued behaving abnormally while making continuous visits to her psychiatrist. The fear that both of Takara’s parents shared was finally realized shortly after her twelfth birthday despite all of their efforts to contain it. Takara proudly displayed her most recent ability to move the surrounding sand at will and continue to manipulate its movements for extended periods of time. The sight of their mentally ill child manipulating surrounding sand by mere thought was horrifying to say the least. They knew that she would simply ignore them if she was told never to use her bloodline limit again. Therefore, they kept her inside for quite some time, never allowing her to leave the house even if it meant missing out in school even though Takara’s illness never affected her ability to learn. Takara never left home even for her scheduled appointments with her psychiatrist, which made some people outside the family rather suspicious. Most people who knew Takara were already aware that she had mental problems and the recent indefinite confinement to her room caused some people to suspect something was terribly wrong. During Takara's confinement, she always had at least one of her parents watching over her to ensure that she never again used her bloodline abilities. Her parents' paranoia knew no end as they even slept in shifts for the weeks that followed just so that their daughter would not try anything while they slept. After a month of being prohibited from going outside, Takara became bored and tried leaving the house after compliantly following her parents' orders for nearly thirty days. Her parents would not allow it and so Takara became angry with her mother and father during the next few seconds. Takara decided that since she could not have her fun outside, then she would have to bring her fun inside. Takara summoned nearby sand that was found loose and lying along the sidewalks and streets surrounding her parents' house. Neither her mother nor her father were aware of Takara's actions as she spent minutes forming the sand into something a little more manageable until she finally succeeded. It was not long before a mass of sand the size of slammed into a window of the house. This resulted in the window shattering and Takara used the broken window to slip outside. People were already standing outside wondering what was making such a vast amount of sand move in such an unusual manner. Upon seeing Takara jump out of the broken window of her home, they concluded that Takara was secretly a member of the Sabaku clan. Due to the secrecy of Takara's parents within the past month and keeping Takara confined within her own home during that period of time, Takara's parents became suspects of conspiring to commit a crime. It took an additional month for Takara's parents to prove that they were not conspiring against anyone. Takara's psychiatrist was not much of a defense or witness to vouch for the words of Takara's parents though. The psychiatrist only knew about Takara's mental illness and that shortly after the girl's twelfth birthday, she stopped visiting him. While the ceased visitations with her psychiatrist only added to the theory that Takara's parents were conspiring against the leader's village, no conclusive evidence was found to support such an accusation. Eventually, Takara's parents were proved innocent of the charges accused against them. As for Takara, it was decided that she would be thoroughly tested in order to discover the exact mental illness that affected her. Taking Takara's mental illness into consideration, it was decided that her parents would decide if the psychiatrist's reports on Takara would be revealed. They agreed to allow the reports to be seen by other mental health professionals. Upon looking through the documented reports, it became obvious that if Takara was as ill as her psychiatrist believed she was, then she would be institutionalized for treatment in an environment that placed no one in danger. Takara may have been mentally ill, but she was not stupid, as her mental illness never once affected her ability to learn for some odd reason. Takara remembered how boring it was to be trapped within her own home for a month and never wanted to experience anything similar again. To Takara, boredom was the worst form of agony and it angered her greatly just thinking about it, which was why she rarely thought about being bored. Therefore, Takara abandoned her parents and quickly made her way toward the academy. She knew that she could not enroll, but she had a different plan in mind. Takara convinced one of the students that she was given an assignment to study up on seals, chakra points, chakra control, and chakra molding, but she left the scrolls in the classroom and she could not get back in. The student agreed to get her some scrolls because she was still at a young age and was both naive and kind. While waiting for the scrolls, Takara started feeling bored and decided to entertain herself by making the sand around her dance. When the student returned, she dropped the scrolls in horror at the sight of Takara's abilities. The student had heard about Takara as the student's parents informed her to stay away from Takara because her mind was ill even though she possessed powerful abilities. While the student ran to inform one of the academy instructors of Takara's visitation, Takara quickly picked up the scrolls and moved onto her next destination as quickly as possible. Takara snuck back into her house while her parents were out searching for her, since they had already noticed her disappearance. Takara took her backpack and stuffed the scrolls inside along with some food, a compass, a map, and a few canteens filled with water. She even stole a change of her mother's desert attire since she intended to remain outside in the desert for awhile, probably long enough to grow into her mother's size. Afterward, she slung the backpack over her shoulders and made her way outside the village. On her way out, a jounin located the missing girl, but did nothing to stop her and never informed any of the other village ninjas. His reasons for not informing the rest of the village of his discovery were unknown including to Takara who was oblivious to his existence. Perhaps he did not want to see her institutionalized and allowed her to leave so that she could train in the desert and return as a powerful ninja. Maybe he despised the Sabaku clan and would rather allow the merciless desert environment kill the child rather than allow her to continue living in the village. Whatever his reasons were, it did not matter; it simply meant that Takara did not escape her own village through skill and tactical decision. Instead, she was allowed to leave her village by a high-ranking ninja who deliberately disobeyed his orders. It was only a week since Takara ventured into the desert and she already ate her entire food supply and drank her entire water supply. Takara almost considered returning to the village, but she did not want to, at least not at that time anyway. Instead, she began living off the land, at first she gathered water from an oasis she happened upon and took some branches from nearby trees as firewood to survive the cold nights. She then used native creatures for her daily diet including insects, rodents, snakes, and other sources of meat. It took Takara some time, but she eventually learned how to make fires quickly using raw materials and learned how to trap, hunt, and kill certain animals. After spending an additional week mastering the basics of desert survival, Takara began teaching herself basic ninja skills by taking out the scrolls she received from the academy student. There was nothing too detailed about the scrolls, but Takara did not care as she first concerned herself with chakra points, chakra control, and molding her chakra. Once again, she only had the most basic information available to her and she could not concentrate too much on her training because she was usually preoccupied with her own survival. It took her an entire month before she eventually understood the first sets of scrolls she studied. Unfortunately, extended exposure in the desert with only minimal supplies was taking a heavy toll on her mind and body. Takara spent no time caring about her accommodations in the desert though, as she was only pleased to know that she had collected enough information on chakra to continue onto her next series of lessons. After all, Takara started becoming bored of studying up on chakra and wanted to move onto something different entirely. Even though keeping the scrolls containing information on chakra for reference would have been wise, Takara used them to feed her next fire. Wasting no time, Takara went onto learning hand seals and practiced forming them as accurately and quickly as possible without molding chakra so as not to accidentally activate a random and unpredictable jutsu. Takara dedicated an entire month in the desert to two things only, the continuation of her survival and developing her sealing abilities. After four weeks of practicing, Takara felt that her sealing abilities were adequate and just in time because she had been growing bored of her repetitive practices. Satisfied with the knowledge that she had gathered, Takara burned the final scroll she possessed in her next fire. Without any more scrolls to examine or study from, the only training that remained for Takara was learning, practicing, and mastering a handful of jutsu before she returned to her village. Takara already possessed a few natural abilities due to her bloodline traits, but just because they came natural to her did not mean that she had fully mastered them. Knowing this, Takara decided to start her next series of training slow by perfecting the abilities she already possessed. She began with sand manipulation and found enjoyment from her newest form of training as she used it primarily to sculpt sandcastles within the nearby oasis. The sandcastles she created were magnificent works of art that were at least her height each and each sandcastle carried much more refined detail than the last. Eventually, Takara grew bored of her sandcastle creation and any sandcastles that had not already degraded over time were destroyed on command. Takara spent the remainder of the year developing her defensive capabilities and started out small with any easy ability that did not require the use of her bloodline traits. Sand barrier was actually a little more difficult than Takara had first anticipated, but she eventually managed it once she began performing the correct seals and molding the correct amount of chakra. Sand barrier was followed by mastering "Shield of Sabaku", which actually seemed easier and simpler to perform since it required no seals. It was not long before Takara was able to perform "Shield of Sabaku" through sheer will. The last defensive jutsu Takara took on was quite possibly the most burdening of the three she learned during her isolation in the desert. It not only placed an incredible strain on her mind, but her body as well and required several months for her to perform it correctly. Takara found that she could not practice forming sand armor over her body for more than an hour without exhausting herself to the point of nearly passing out. Because of the constant strain Takara's sand armor placed upon her, she could only practice it a few days a week so that she could rest up and gather food and water later on. Takara never complained about the difficulty ass she actually enjoyed it and found it quite entertaining. It was only after she eventually created a perfect layer of sand armor over her body that she was disappointed since it was no longer as challenging as it once was. Sand Clone was Takara's following decision for her seemingly endless training and although the requirements for performing the jutsu were simple, it was the most difficult technique she attempted up to that moment in her life. Takara knew nothing about summoning and the only thing that made it possible for her to teach herself the ability was that it was a sand-based technique, her specialized element. Even though it was sand-based, performing the proper seals in the correct sequence took quite some time and it required heavy guesswork on Takara's part to activate her very first summoning jutsu. After several months of practice within the harsh desert, Takara successfully managed to summon a sand clone. Takara was nearing her fourteenth birthday and with her coming of age, she was nearly ready to return to her village even if it meant being sent to the institution. Takara was determined to learn at least one more jutsu before her return and she decided to learn how to use her element as a much more destructive and effective weapon. She did not know she was teaching herself the Desert Imperial Funeral, but she spent long hours guessing the precise combination of hand seals without any results for the weeks that followed. Takara eventually came upon a result of one of her hands seals while concentrating and learned how to summon chakra even though it was not the precise jutsu she was trying to teach herself. While the unpredicted result was exciting and entertaining for a few days, Takara eventually grew bored of her new jutsu and resumed her attempts on learning Desert Imperial Funeral. Takara slowly slipped into boredom when she became fourteen-years-old and after completing a series of seals without any result after countless other failed attempts, she angrily slammed her fist into the sand below her feet, immediately expelling the chakra she molded into her fists and into the sand. The result was a devastating explosion of sand that covered a radius of several meters. Takara's fury instantly vanished as an incredible sense of pride and accomplishment overwhelmed her. She was finally finished training in the desert and was ready to return to the Village Hidden in the Mirage. |
