Apocalypse (Lv4)
|
Several days have passed since the meeting with Bard in Terra. The young warrior grew tired and wanted to see the world as it was before returning to the Valley as a dedicated ninja. After gaining his new life, he wanted to avoid the ones he knew long ago until he was ready to face them and explain things to them. Thankfully Heero and Kenji decided on not telling anyone of what had happened. This made things much easier for Kurisu as he did not want to have a parade of celebration about his rebirth but would rather enjoy living for a while before making his grand return. He walked slowly through the Hamlet slowly tired from the battle that he had held before with Bard. Too much strain on his body was the large issue for him. People began to stare at the man who seemed to be wearing an odd attire compared to the rest of them. His pants consisted of tight black pants with his dark blue Chuunin vest hanging over it around the waist. On his left leg he wore a headband announcing his affiliation with the Valley. Long black sleeves stuck out from the vest with a few patches on them symbolizing the Kappa clan and the feats he had accomplished. "What a strange life I have lived..." Kurisu said aloud as he stopped looking into the hostel to his left. A smile grew on his face as the idea of resting in a room filled his body. He began to walk in when he was brushed against on the shoulder pushing him back lightly. His long brown hair swayed in the wind as he stumbled back gaining his balance quickly. "Hey.. watch it!" He shouted looking up at a merchant who was in a hurry to leave. "Sorry sir! I am runnin--Ninja!? Oh I am so sorry... I did not mean to harm you Ninja sir. Please.. tell the keeper that you can use my tab at any expense. Just please, don't hurt me!" The merchant said bowing carrying several bags. It was obvious he has had a bad experience with corrupt ninja on more than one occasion. "I wont hurt you... your apology is suffice merchant." Kurisu said dusting himself off with a smile. Still Kurisu bore those blue eyes that seemed as deep as an endless ocean. "No! I insist. Please... at least take my room. Here, take this voucher." The merchant said pulling out a voucher that was good for a room at this very hostel. "I wish not to make any enemies with Ninja. Especially ones with skill such as yourself Mr. Chuunin sir!" The Merchant said once more. "Well.... I don't want to take advantage of you..." Kurisu said curling his lips up unsure if he should take the voucher. "Oh no! I wont be back here in a long time anyway. Please just take it. Well... if you wont take it. How about you agree to protect any merchant you see in danger along these parts?" He said with a smile bowing to Kurisu. "That I can do. I Kappa Kurisu the Second promise to defend the merchants here with all that I am!" Kurisu said aloud taking the voucher in hand with a smile. The merchant tilted his head slightly scratching his chin at the name. "That name sounds familiar... OH MY! The time, I am running late on my shipment. I hope to see you again Kappa Kurisu!" The merchant said darting off from the hamlet with all sorts of trinkets in his case. There was a cart waiting for him outside the hamlet that he tossed the case into and went off with. "That wasn't strange at all... but a promise is a promise!" Kurisu said with a smile as he walked into the Hostel looking around. There were several hallways with several rooms that most likely were made for more than one person to stay in at a time. In the main room to the right was a counter for him to exchange his voucher for a key and several tables. Throughout the room there were various seats for people to sit and enjoy the others company. Kurisu could tell he was going to like this place. |

“Thank you Karei-chan.” “No thanks needed.” The Chuunin smirks. “Just make sure he ices that daily and takes the prescription.” Karei turned around leaving the hotel room. The door closed as the Chuunin was out making her daily rounds. She was called to the unclaimed territory to help an innocent who was attacked by wildlife, in the Silent Forest. It was a person who loved shinobi but didn’t have it to become one. Karei was eager to help, for medical jutsu was all she became a Shinobi for. To help everyone that needed help friend or foe. Just as she was headed down the stairs, she heard a commotion outside. She looked out the window to see a man carrying several bags, infront of a ninja with a blue Chuunin vest. Karei put a finger on her chin. “Now where have I seen a blue Chuunin vest before?” Karei continues to walk while thinking, as a young childs toy truck wa son one of the steps. One more step and, boom. Karei went tumbling down the stairs. Landing on every part of her body the female hit the base floor with a thud, not loud enough to shake the ground, but loud enough to have everyone look. In her falling, she landed on top of a man carrying papers and such. It was the Hostel representative and Karei sat up and bowed with her hands crossed. She was apologizing rapidly as she quickly looked him up and down after activating her bloodline limit, the Joukei. She checked for the mans Gurou, the Tokage ever present charka source. In their heritage, the Gurou was not made of just regular charka like most would see it. Each type of jutsu held a different color and these mixing colors when combined, formed the radiant light that was known as Joukei. And as all people who know of the Joukei knows, anytime a Gurou is seen just once. It is automatically saved in the membrane of that Tokage and they never forget someone’s Gurou even if it is around them. Just then, a shock from the right came in as Karei seen a vibrant Gurou. She turned with her lizard like eyes and saw a topal blue Gurou that knocked the water from her eyes. It was bright, flashing but familiar. She looked around as she tried thinking of whose it could be, then it hit her. Karei stood up and walked towards the man with the Gurou. It was the ninja in the blue chuunin vest she seen earlier. “Kurisu?” |

Her voice echoed in the ears of Kurisu like a chime or melody from a world unlike this very one. He turned around slowly only to see the young girl he met in desert ten years ago. The same girl he had teamed up with shortly after helping to start the village that he fought and died for in the battle not so long ago. A girl who was close to him as Kenji was. Eight years marks the time since he last saw her face, eight years since the day he heard her voice from last. A tingling sensation filled the finger tips of his hands as he looked at her up and down as if he were seeing a god in his presence. "Karei....?" Kurisu said with a shake in his voice, not expecting to see anyone he knew personally this far away from the village. An explosion of emotions filled his heart to see the face of someone so dear to him once again. He found himself at a loss of words only able to stare at her in a daze. "Sir? Can I help you?" The man behind the counter asked clicking a small metal device creating a dinging noise. Kurisu was standing in the way of the entrance forcing many people to walk around him and slowing the activity down greatly. "Sir! Can you move please?" He said once more finally gaining Kurisu's attention. "Oh! Sorry!" Kurisu said aloud smiling at the man turning his head away from Karei only for a second. Kurisu stepped out of the way off to the side so that he had a better view of Karei and was now only a few feet away from her. His head slowly turned back to her with his jaw dropped still unsure of what to say. [Say something witty... no... smart.. No funny! Sound cool. This is like a first impression again Kurisu.] He thought to himself trying to think of something to say to her being it the first thing said between the two in eight years. "Wow... it has been a while, huh Karei?" Kurisu said aloud faintly smiling as if he were hardly able to do such. [Stupid! You should have said something else...] Kurisu thought to himself beating himself up in his mind. Kurisu placed his hand on the back of his head calmly but only to twirl the back of his hair in order to calm his nerves. |

“Been a while? Your… your… alive?” Karei arms dangle at her side as she shakes her head and rub her own eyes. She could not believe what was going through her head. She seen him die. She could have swarn she seen him die, in fact she was the medical ninja assigned to reviving him, but she could not. How could this be the Chuunin thought. It wasn’t possible. People don’t come back from the dead do they? She thought as she was at a lost of words now. She didn’t know what to say, she just felt anxiety mixed in with a lot of other emotions. Some good, some bad but all unexplainable In this instance. What should she respond to the man, who she met in the desert years ago. What should she say to one of her best friends. Should she smile and wave, should she turn the cheek and slap him for worrying her, she didn’t know. She shook her head and took a few steps back as she stepped on the leg of the guy behind her on the floor which she landed on. She took a few more steps stumbling back as Kurisu became closer to her. It couldn’t be real. It had to be a trick, a genjutsu. That’s what it is Karei thought as she rose her fingers readying for the Dispel Jutsu. She let the word out and nothing happened. She used It more and more as still the image of Kurisu popped in her head. Then it hit her, it was a ghost. It was haunting her for not saving Kurisu. The ghost had to be there for that. There is no way that you could bring someone back to life like that and have them act of their own accord. There is no way the chuunin thought further. She hadn’t said a word, but if her face could talk without a voice, it would say it all. She was shocked, terrified, pleased but surprised at every aspect of this event. She didn’t know what to do and it showed in every action. She was now getting full of guilt again as she closed her eyes and turned away as a few tears flew from her face. She went back up the stairs from where she came from to hide from this ghost. She went towards the end of the hallway and turned the corner as she made her way up more steps |

"Did... I do something wrong?" Kurisu asked aloud as he scratched his forehead in wonder. [Gah! She couldn't handle it... this is why I wanted to avoid seeing people I knew] Kurisu thought as he turned away from the stairs and back to the man behind the counter with a smile on his face. "Yes, can I help you--" The man was cut off by Kurisu who handed the man the voucher for a room that was given to him earlier. "Ye-Okay... here is your Key then Mr. Mihuzaki" He said with a smile. Kurisu tiled his head at the name but shook it off. It had to of been the merchant from before. "Yea I am going to go for a walk I will be back!" Kurisu said lying in the face of the man. Kurisu grabbed the key and put it in his Chuunin vest chuckling lightly. His steps made not a single sound as he walked out from the Hostel looking up at the tall tower of a building he was standing in but a moment ago. "Okay... time to go Ninja!" Kurisu said with a smile on his face. With a dash towards the wall, Kurisu found himself running up the wall as quick as possible looking into every window on the side of the building. "No luck... let's see... the hallway windows would be around there. I don't think she had a room based on the things she was carrying with her..." Kurisu said frowning. He stood straight up parallel to the ground using his Chakra to hold himself up. He then began to walk on the side of the building looking into the windows as he walked by each one. Several people outside pointed in awe at his skill as he performed a strange act that they do not see every day. It was when he came to the second story window, the fourth to the right from the entrance that he saw her come up from the stars. "There she goes..." Kurisu said shaking his head trying to come up with a way to calm her down. "Gah! I will try and wing it!" Kurisu said slapping his forehead as he pushed his foot down against the window causing the entire frame to push inward. Kurisu bent his knees as he grabbed tightly onto the left side of the window pane and pulled himself in. Not planning the entrance very well he fell onto the ground and onto the glass cutting the side of his arm pretty badly. "Argh!! That hurt..." Kurisu shouted as blood fell from his right arm onto the ground. It was then that Karei's path crossed just where he was... sitting in a pile of glass bleeding from his arm. Kurisu looked up at Karei and could only smile at her as he held his arm with blood leaking through his finger tips. |

Karei eyes bug out as the blood from the finger tips seep through the spaces of his fingers. She watches as it hits the ground and takes a step forward. She walks forward inch by inch, making sure this wasn’t what it appeared to seem, but it was. This Kurisu, or imposter was hurt and as a Medical Ninja it is her job to make it right, no matter how much it scares her. She kneels down in front of Kurisu and moves her hands over the arm. Her eyes glow an aqua green as a visible charka forms over her hands. She looks off into the distance as the wounds of Kurisu are beginning to heal. She continues as the blood also goes away. Karei stand sup and turns her back thinking to herself, Every instance I use my healing abilities, I feel better about myself. But, this is not one of those case. What would I do here? This guy, it can’t be Kurisu, It just can’t be. I watched him die over ten years ago. And he’s acting like he’s been alive all the while since then. Was that or is this a dream? I shouldn’t have treated him like that but… Karei thinks to herself as she walks off. “Your healed now, whoever you are. Just…[sigh] leave me alone.” Karei says in a mellow tone as she heads back down the stairs. She stops at the counter and drops off a portion of her wallet to pay for the expenses that she had caused. She nodded to the man and proceeded to walk out the door. She was trying her best not to let it bother her. She had o. For the memory of those who are gone need to be respected, not tarnished, atleast she though. As She headed down the street, there were merchants and small children running around. The kids were playing with some ball as she watched them run into the street, just as a wagon with horses came barging through. She batted her eyes as the horses seemed to not stop and just her luck, the kids would stop in the middle of the pathway of the horses. “Just my luck.” Karei says as she looks to the side clapping her hands together and crouching taking off at a dash. She uses her Numbing technique as she hits the legs of the horses at a quick speed. They soon fall limp and the man in the wagon begins to fall over. Karei then activates her weight genjutsu on the surrounding area, so that all would stop in the place, as gravity or the power of her mind would stop things from literally being able to move. The Kids stop, The horses stop as Karei stand sup relieved. She grabs the kids out the way and snaps her fingers as the genjutsu is dispersed. She sit them down and return all to normal, including puts the feeling back in the legs of the horses so they are able to stand. She continues to head through the area, just thinking. |

Apocalypse (Lv4)

"Karei...." Kurisu said with a strong sense of disappointment in his voice. "Damnit... I didn't want her to be sad. GOD DAMNIT!" Kurisu said slamming his fist into the wooden floor he sat on crushing the glass beneath his fist. The sound of flesh ripping filled his ears. He slowly rose his hand into the air viewing the glass shards protruding from his hand. "I will get you for this Sin. I hate you so much...." Kurisu said aloud as he began to lift himself up from the pile of glass. Water began to swell up in the holes where the glass stuck out of him... building pressure. The shards shot out as water fell from the small holes cleansing the wounds from any dirt or grains of glass that would remain there. Slowly Kurisu reached in his pocket where he grasped loosely onto his key that he had obtained earlier. His feet felt heavy and his mind grew weary. All he could think about is going to sleep so he could escape this feeling that engulfed his entirety. Every step up the flight of stairs felt like an hour and every sound felt like a buzzing of a school bell. His head seemed to pound from the pain he felt in his heart. What if I... wanted to break? Laugh it all off in your face What if I fell to the floor Couldn't take this anymore What would you do? High chimes played in his mind strumming like a semi-automatic pistol at point blank range, crazing him into the deepest pits of manifested harlots. Penetration of logic failed as he reached the final step of the binding stairs keeping him from the esteemed grace that befalls him in his outgoing hysteria. Yet slide away the horrid feelings that plague his pale face, a smile still seems to form on the gracious face that he holds true. A smile that lies to the world telling everything he is alright when in fact he hurts and has trouble coping with reality in the form that is now. Eight years in a prison that he once felt to be his home, just existing reminds him of the horrible acts he was forced to do in the eight years of torture. "There is my room..." Kurisu stated briefly as he shuffled off into the now gloomy feeling hallway with his room at the very end as if some ill omen had sought to this. Every step left a creak, every movement a crack of the bone. It was the most sound any ninja would ever want to make in movement, yet the idea of it never arouse in his mind. Yet somethings stopped him in his steps, on the wall before him just previous to the turn he would make to his room was a painting. Watercolor, exquisites and beyond comparison to any other. Kurisu found himself lost by this painting... it reminded him. It reminded him of the sights he long forgotten in his years. His hand slowly rose to the painting placing two fingers on the most upper portion of the painting, his smile slowly shifting to a frown. The painting consisted of a lady sitting on a bench in a park, a close up shot of her. The park was beautiful and was in an oriental styled art style. Something very few ever get to see in their life time unless they seek it out personally. The details on the happy face were very detailed for a water painting... but it seemed to be smearing. Water seemed to be seeping from the inner works of the painting, dripping onto the floor. Drops of water seemed to start dripping from the sealing and walls around Kurisu. Yet one of the drops stood out more than any other. It was the combined tears from his eyes that made the largest ripple in the water that now rose to his ankles. Within a moment... the once beautiful painting now was nothing more than a white slab that was the canvas the artist had painted on previously. "Perfect..." Kurisu stated as he unlocked his door, stepping in allowing water to flush in all around the room. With every step a splash was send against the wall as if his feet carried the very force of a hurricane. Screams were heard from the streets as people hurried out of the hostel due to the odd flooding that had happened in a flash. Kurisu ignored them and flopped himself on his twin bed with white sheets. The water seemed to flow from the cracks of his floor onto the floor below... and even out of the very walls around him into the streets. It truly caused a large commotion in the streets as this was an event unheard of in the hamlets time. |

Water Rushing, like a powerful fall from Hidden valley. Karei stopped to turn around to see a rush of water coming her way. She turned as the water hit her from the front, not before she could put up some kind of protection against herself though. She stood her ground, as she used her chakra control to help her stand her ground. She was pushed back by the force as she lost her grip on the ground, whcih wa stoo wet now. She was carried by the powerful flow, towards a building and a few poles. The female now, was laying unconscious form the pressure of Kurisu's power water, which was his bloodline. in ehr last few words she let out a few thoughts. "Kurisu... I'm, I'm sorry...." As She faded into a state of unconsciousness. The water continud to carry her as she went wherever it would take her. |

Apocalypse (Lv4)

"What happened! Everyone run... the gods have been angered." Were some of the words muttered from the people in the streets. It was when one line said aloud caught his attention. "Everyone the medical ninja is down give her some room!" Kurisu shot out from the bed like a raging bull when he heard these words from the streets below. He stood only to see a gaping hole in the wall where the water had fallen from the building like some sort of waterfall. "What have I done...? Karei... I am so sorry..." Kurisu said realizing what the demons in him had caused him to do. With a rush beyond anything he had had before he leapt from the building onto the ground below landing on a puddle of water with his kappa walk ability enduring all of the force from his fall. He ran as quick as he could sending splashes into the air from the force of his feet. Kurisu got to Karei only to see her sprawled against various objects with peoples gathered around her body. [No....] Kurisu thought to himself as he walked to her bending his knees to scoop her out of the water. Water dripped from her hair onto the water which flowed from the hamlet out towards the downhill road. "I will take her to get rest. Anyone who is able please gather the wounded and bring them with me to the Hostel here... The lobby should still be dry." Kurisu said to everyone as he dashed off to the Hostel running inside. The inn keeper looked confused due to the commotion but even more confused due to Kurisu walking in a second time without ever leaving. Kurisu rushed to one of the couches there which was now abandoned due to people freaking out and laid Karei's damp body on it. Kurisu held his two hands over her with his eyes closed focusing his mind on the water on her. With shere will and power of the water he used his bloodline to create currents that actually caused water to drip off of her body even quicker causing her clothes to actually dry quicker. |

While the Chuunin was carried off by the panicking Kurisu, she could hear voices as her eyes barely squinted. She wasn't conscious still but, heard the voices of the ones around her. Her mind spoke as If she didn't know what was going on, only on the inside of her own head. [Medic... Ninja is down?] Karei's voice traveled through the reaches of her mind. From inside she could clearly see the outside, as If her eyes were open, which they were not. She looked confused as she looked around to see Kurisu carrying her, with a dreadful look upon his face. [What's going on? Who is he carrying and why is Kurisu moving so rapidly?] Thoughts still seeped out of Karei's brain. From her field of vision, she felt it get a bit rocky as her body was sat down by the Kappa. She then heard more voices begin to gasp and mutter words of the like. "Oh my god..." "This is what happen when you deal with Shinobi.." "Poor girl..." Meanwhile Kurisu, with a determined look upon his face moved his hands over Karei. Karei head from the inside tilted confused at what was going on as the hands of the Kappa began to will some type of force. Karei looked around as she heard a single drop of water as the inside of Karei's head as full of water instantly. She looked around as it began to drain as if it was being flushed down the drain. She began to spin rapidly ina 360 degree spin as the water soon as emptied out of her head and Karei herself was knocked out the drain. With that, the unconscious Karei let out a cough as the water that she was overcome by had came out of her mouth. her eyelids moved a bit as she soon opened up her black eyes to see others leering at her with intent. She then moved her lips as the light in the room was bright, even for her eyes at the moment. She then seen Kurisu's face. It was full of anguish, despair and sorrow. Karei then moved her right hand over Kurisu hands followed by her left. "Kurisu... I'm... I'm sorry." She closed her eyes as she slowly sat up on the couch and shook her head as her hair tips were still damp with water. She then opened her eyes and looked p at Kurisu, not before jumping forward wrapping her arms around her childhood friend. She missed him dearly and earlier she did not deal with him being there the correct way. She would right her wrongs from earlier. |

Apocalypse (Lv4)
|
As the arms of the female ninja embraced her long lost friend, water filled the air... as she seemingly went through the very person who came to her aide after rushing the water down the city aisle. The very person that came to her aide was nothing more than a water clone created by Kurisu who feels he is not ready. He feels he is not ready for direct confrontation with those he cares for. "I'm sorry Karei-kun... you are important to me... but I am not ready. Give me time to think things out..." The head of the clone said as he smashed into the floor now having no body. The head fell behind the body onto the wooden floor turning into a pile of water. The headless, chestless body soon turned into a fountain of water that fell to the floor. The water splashed in a rapid movement... seeming unable to keep still as if some uncontrollable force was moving it. It was then clear that a message was being made. 'Be Safe...' Ontop of the building where the gaping hole was made stood a man holding a pale white mask in his hand as if he had been watching almost the entire time. The mask was placed on his face as he leapt from the hole onto the roof of another building. [I'm sorry Karei... ] The man thought. His steps were light and made not a sound... yet his movements were heavy filled with grief and sorrow that he had to live out in a new life that he found calming and satisfying. |
