MOOGLE AWWWWAAAAYYYY!!!
Alex had been thinking a lot about yesterday. Yesterday, Alex had seen his grandfather for the first time in several years. They had been training, and Alex was about to learn something…but something made him stop. But he was determined to go back, see his Grandfather again, and finally nail the aerial techniques. Alex already had a pretty good idea of how to work it, but he needed something to wrap it all up. He would learn all that in due time. But, he knew that first he needed to get to the place where Alex met his Grandfather earlier. Alex didn’t remember all of it, but he did know the general area where he and his Grandfather had trained. Alex was sitting on his front porch, thinking. It was early in the morning. It looked like yesterday. The sky was clear, Sun was bright, and birds were singing. Alex knew it was time to go. He stood up, and leaped off of his porch, his jacket shining in the sun. He landed about a second later, and started dashing. He would have to travel outside the village, he knew.

As he dashed through the village, he greeted random people with a small “Hi” or “Good morning.” Alex knew most of these people, and didn’t want to be rude. He was slowing down now, as the waterfall was near. Alex hated going in the water. It made him feel cramped. Never the less, he leaped into the waters around the waterfall and swam up, reaching the outside of the village, and breathing in the warm, humid air. Alex loved the humid air, but not the water, oddly. He reached the shore, got up, and started to run again. The faster he ran, the faster he got dry.

Alex saw the place where he first saw his Grandfather yesterday. That was where that whole chase began. Alex sighed. He had a while to go. He started to trace his steps. Senbon, see grandpa, kunai…then we ran…. Alex started to run off into the forest. He had a decent idea of where to go. That’s where I threw the kunai… Alex was seeing his steps easier, and more clearly now. He came to the second clearing where he thought he had killed his grandfather, but just delivered a combo to a Shadow Clone. He laughed. His grandfather was a sneaky ninja. He sure was old, but sneaky. Alex glanced off to his right, and saw the path where the next chase began. He ran down the path.

Alex knew exactly where to go. The path was fresh in his mind. He remembered running through there from yesterday, when he was still confused. He came to the third, and final clearing. This was where Alex figured out who his grandfather was, and they trained. Alex sighed. He had cut their training short, but now he could not figure out why he had. He sat down. He silently thought to himself, ”What was I doing? Then it hit him. He had just…lost his motive to train then. He didn’t know how, but he did.

Alex glanced around, feeling like he was watched. He knew his grandfather was here. He could just feel him. He called out, “Grandpa, come on out.” Alex didn’t hear a sound. Except the rustle of leaves from the wind and the constant singing of the happy birds, singing their chirpy tune. Alex smiled. At least the birds were with him. “Find me, Alex. Use your smarts. I know you have them.” Alex stopped smiling. His grandfather wanted him to find him? Alex listened carefully. If he had to judge it, he would say…his grandfather was behind him. He turned around, but he wasn’t there. “Alex….think carefully.” Again, behind him. But behind him as in, behind him when he turned around to look the first time.(Which means, Alex turned around, then heard the voice behind him.) Alex realized what this was.

“Cut the Genjutsu crap, Grandpa, you know I have no skill in that.” Alex smiled. “Alright…” Alex made a quick hand seal, and muttered, “Dispel.” A small burst of chakra shot out, and Alex’s grandfather appeared behind him, smiling. “Good job, Alex. That’s what we’ll be training today. Intelligence. Brain power. Your smarts.” Alex smiled. It was just another day with his Grandpa. Alex knew that his grandfather wouldn’t let him down in this training. Even if it was just intelligence training, Alex knew that his grandfather would help him out in a very good way.

But Alex knew it wouldn’t be easy.

Name:Sabaku, Tatsugira
Gender: Male
Age: 23
Clan: Sabaku
Preferred Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu
Personality: He is aggressive, courageous, frightening, unpredictable, and determined. His face is usual seen with a blank or gloomy expression, unless he has a really good reason to smile, which can be scary. What really bothers him is rude and ignorant people who can't see past their own thought sphere, and anyone who threatens him or something he lives for. If he is challenged to do battle, he will fight ruthlessly, not taking anyone lightly, and will punish harshly his enemies. He has a habit of biting the skin around his nails until it bleeds,from being bored and liking the taste of blood when there's none to spill.

Over the years though, Tatsu has become more responsible, caring, and respectful. He is no longer overly selfish and cares about the wellfare of his village and his family members above all else. Nonetheless he is still quite the force to be reckoned with, so don't cross his path and give him the wrong impression because most likely, you won't come out alive. And if you're a traitor of his clan or his village, he will not hesitate to take your life, and will give you a slow and painful death so that you know you were wrong.

Appearance:

Tatsu stands roughly 5'8 and weighs 138 lbs of lean muscle. He has short, messy rusty redish orange hair that appears spikey, jade green eyes with large black rings around them, a light skin tone, and scars on his cheeks he had applied to himself years ago out of anguish.

He wears a black shirt with a mesh tank top underneath that, grey ninja cargo pants with holsters and many pockets, a grey flack jacket with the Village of the Mirage symbol on the back of it, and black shinobi shoes. He wears bandages on his lower legs and over his feet, grey gloves with metal guards on the backs, and a white scarf stained with blood around his neck. On his forehead is the old and rusted headband of Sunagakure no Sato, a hand me down from the once great Kazekage, Gaara. And, on his right upper arm over his shirt is tied the Mirage Village headband.

Sand Gourd- A large clay container made of hardened sand that holds an astounding amount inside of it much more sand, sealed with his own chakra. He can manipulate this sand to his will and use it for jutsu when not in a sandy area.

Tripwire- A normal trupwire for trap setting.

Concealing Scroll- A scroll which can conceal hidden messages and even weapons or other items.

Family: Kyoshiro- Father, Grandson of Gaara. He was a great shinobi who believed in preserving tradition in the sand village. He pulled away the loyal followers of their people to safer grounds after the KageKage's first attack. He also wanted to have revenge on the Kurisu for what they had done, but first Marukyru was born. He decided to stay and train his first born son to be the new savior of the Sabaku Clan. He died in the battle at Kanoa. Tatsu didn't see much of his father because he was mostly training his big brother, but he did love and respect him.

Katoma- Mother. Katoma was much the watcher of the village. She wanted her children to be perfect shinobi of the desert. While her husband trained Marukyru, she trained their second-born son Tatsugira in a similar way. She also often scolded their youngest son Kairai because of her belief in perfection and was wiling to kill him, however she didn't get a chance to. She died trying to save the village after Sunaarashi left with Kairai to the far outskirts of the village. Katoma was most close to Tatsu in the same way Kyoshiro was to Marukyru. He loved her and respected her, and would avenge her death. The thought of her death builds horrible rage in the young boy.

Marukyru- Brother, oldest son of Kyoshiro. Marukyru was named to be the new hope of the Sabaku Clan, thus his father trained him hard since he was eight years old. Marukyru has become a great shinobi and is still pressing forth. Tatsugira didn't see much of Marukyru after he was six, since his father took him away for intense training. Eventhough, Tatsu always liked having his brother around, as a role model and someone to hang out with and have fun, before things became very serious that is. Tatsugira became a little jealous that his father wouldn't spend more time with him, but it wasn't too long after that his mother began to train him as well. Marukyru will always be respected by him, even with the fade of time, despite the bitterness that has come with despair.

Kairai- Brother, youngest son of Kyoshiro. Kairai was the odd child, thought to be a failure because of his horrible control over his element. His mother taught Tatsu to hate Kairai and thus Kairai was punished harshly in abusive ways. He was even going to be put to death until he proved his worth by challenging the village elder. Tatsu respected his bravery and could see he would become better eventhough he thought him to be inferior. He made a pact that they would protect eachother that day, although after Kairai left, and Marukyru was soon gone also, that the pact was seemingly broken. Kairai found Tatsugira three years ater the destruction of the world they had known, and in his bitter state they battled. Once again Kairai had proven his worth, and the peace bond was restored. Tatsugira respects Kairai but feels withdrawn from time, and treats him with coldness.
History

Tatsugira was raised by his mother, Katoma in what was left of the Village Hidden in the Sands after many had moved out of the area what with the KageKage's new world order. However that did not mean his clan left. They stayed right where they came from because they strongly believed in keeping traditions.

His mom taught him how to survive in their harsh corner of the world, and when he was five he was sent out into the desert to camp over weekends, and then weeks eventually, where he learned through personal experience and got a really good hold on his chakra concentration, doing handseals, and moving sands to his will.
For begginer's jutsu practice, he made sink holes, dust devils, and small animations, shifting sand to look like a living desert dweling animal made of sand, except birds ofcourse. He tried doing that, but being so young it was really hard. But that didn't mean he gave up hope. He pushed himself to increase his jutsu power, sometimes till he nearly died of dehydration.

In the village he enjoyed playing games using his skills with the other kids, but he found out most others picked on him for physically being a wimp, or tried to bring him down by telling him he sucked at jutsu's because they were jealous of his feats. He didn't really do anything past yelling on occassion however, because he wanted to be nice and kind. However, all of that was about to change.

Several years later, on Tatsugira's tenth birthday, it so happened again that the KageKage’s ANBU were set out to control or obliterate any village that wanted separation,and the Sand Village Hidden was deemed a possible threat. And now they were coming, for the last time, for all of the village’s older, stronger shinobi had gone to Kinoha to settle the score, unaware of the pre-dispatched team that meant them harm back at home in the Wind Country.

Tatsu was so happy that day. He just got the coolest present ever; his grandfather’s Sand Village Headband. He really liked it. It was tarnished and stained, but it was still in good condition otherwise. He was really honored. Tatsugira thanked his mother and ran out to the canyon to do some training. He never got to see the look on his mother’s face. She started crying when he left.

Half way through the day, he saw one of the biggest dust clouds ever, and to his horror, it came from his home. So without further ado, he leapt off the cliff he was on, slid down the sand slide, rolled, and ran all the way back home as fast as he could, and found himself in a battle for life and death.

His mother, wounded but fighting told her son to run away and save himself. But, Tatsugira wouldn't have it. He told her no, and turned to fight the attackers, not caring who they were just that they went away and left them alone. He fought as best he could, and used his kunai and shuriken, but he was unskilled, and being light and not very strong, he got beat to hell and back. He didn't give up, he couldn't. Battered and laying in the sand, he heard his mother scream again, and that was the final breaking point.

Bloodshot eyes, and wrecked with bloody cuts and bruises, little Sabaku Tatsugira got up and stood tall, a wild look in his eyes, and his face madder than had ever been seen before. He used the seals rat, snake, dragon, and rat again, quickly and violently with his hands. He would use a combination of the small techniques he had been practicing and make them into one of the biggest, scariest thing ever seen.

A huge cyclone of sand whirled around. And he was the master. Unseen in the eye of the storm a giant sink hole appeared. And, yelling harshly in his agony and anger, He made a giant sand serpeant form and it appeared to come out of the hole. The swift cry of wind made it sound like it was roaring. This frightened everyone in the area except him because he was on the focus of it. And he made it lunge at the enemies and feeble were their counters. Nothing worked on their part, for they were soon sucked into the abyss. Then Tatsu fainted, having used up all his chakra in the devastating attack.
Days later, he had awoken in Rice Country. Why he was here it was beyond his knowing. He had never been to such a place. Everything was green and wet. He didn't really like it. Shortly after waking up, he got on his feet and wanted to run out the door and far away back to the desert if he could. But he was wobbly and fell down on the wood floor, and then a masked woman came in and saw him and picked him up and gave him an elixer.

Tatsu didn't trust her. He tried to get up, pushing himself, and got on his knees, but the woman came up to him and told him to take it so he could regain his strength. And seeing that she was being ignored more, she told him she wouldn't hurt him, besides she found him alone in the desert. Tatsugira snagged the elixer and smelled it, and he asked her what she was doing there in a cold voice. She then took off her mask, revealing a friendly face with green eyes and purple hair. She was no one he knew. He tried to get up again. Then the woman told him that she was there with the resistence control squad. Listening, and not liking, but knowing the elixer was not poison, he drank it and was able to get up after a few minutes. Then he proceeded to ask her why she saved him, and she told him because he was just a kid, besides, he was lucky he survived.

Tatsu sneered at her face, and he ran towards the door. But the female ninja locked it using object control and told him then that his parents and everyone else in the area had been sucked down underground and he needed to learn to control himself. So, against his will, she did just that, and taught him. He was there for several weeks in Rice Country. There he learned more to focus, and also began to learn how to use kunai and shuriken in a better way, and, having a need what with the moist terrain, he created a hard clay gourd to hold sand. However, the woman saw how much he wanted to leave, so she let him.

Sabaku Tatsugira had been traveling around the world ever since. he saw a lot of things he had never seen, and decided it would be for the best to familiarize himself with them. He met alot of problems along the way, but was able to slip out of them, mostly by acting random and scaring the shit out of people. Then eventually he had gotten enough money to be able to make it back to his homeland. When he got there, he was alone, and he felt broken. He stayed there, and lived in a cave, since the whole village had sank. He cried, and he beat himself for crying. And his shadow became his only friend.

He lived alone like this for months, almost a whole nother year in fact, striving to perfect the jutsu he knew and come up with new ones. He hoped that someday he would be strong enough to make a difference in the world, and be the hope of his clan, since to his knowledge, he was the sole survivor of the desert. He filled his gourd with the bloodied sand where his home once lay.

~~~~~~~~
One day while looking over his land where he lived alone, he noticed some trespassers. He wanted them dead, so he went in and destroyed their camp site to preserve his wanting to be alone. However just then the oddest thing occured. There before him was his little brother Kairai who he thought had surely died. Confused, and tormented with grief, Tatsugira challenged his brother to a fight. If he won, his brother would die, if Kairai won, he would go with him to the 'New Settlement' He was telling him about.
The fight broke out and lasted a while. Kairai's strength surprised Tatsu, and so, he being tired from the long day's work, and his little brother having fought bravely, he decided not to kill him. Instead, they raided what was left of the camp and went off to find the 'Village Hidden in the Mirage' that the old woman who was Kairai's sensei was talking about. Then after they killed another person who got in their way, they went off to find a new home, though Tatsugira still had much distaste for both of them. He'd rather stay in the desert alone, but a promise was a promise.
Ten Years Later.....
Alot has happened since Tatsu had come to live in the village. Over time, Tatsu's attitude had changed for the better, getting a good bond with his brothers by fighting by their sides and also with them, which knocked some sense into the stubborn youth. He also overcame his sadness of losing his mother and the former village and now recognizes his strength with sand as not a plague but a thing to be able to use to his advantage for both attacking his enemies and preserving the lives of his comrades.
During the war with the Valley, Tatsugira was sent on a mission to find his brother Kairai. It seemed that he had gotten lost, or...maybe even the worst had happened to him during the battles. Tatsu looked everywhere for him, while fighting off enemies. However, he could not find Kairai anywhere. But, he didn't give up hope. He continued to look for him, and...when he found him, he found his puppets, and the boy he had gotten to know as his brother, was mangled. His body was destroyed.
Upset, Tatsu burried the whole area with sand, and Kairai was laid to rest there for all eternity. Now, Tatsugira would hate to be called weak by hsi brother for not being able to save their younger sibling, but he didn't care. Tatsu was too upset to go back to the village of the Mirage right now anyway, so, he went off on his own and became a hermit of the canyon, but he did not seek the comfort from a shadow. Instead, he spent all of his time vigorously training himself to he nearly died one time and was knocked out for days.
During his deep sleep, Tatsu thought about the village he had left behind, and he knew now he would have to go back and face what had happened and tell his brother. Tatsu had left behind him in the canyon, more rage then he needed. He would go back to the village, even if he would be humiliated, he would give his services to the people in need there, and hopefully he would gain back respect. He promised he would never abandon the village or his family, and stiffened himself into a warrior of virtues and strength, forgetting his weaknesses. He also knew his brother would understand his reasons for being alone for all this time if he told him. The future was ahead, and Tatsu would be there to put up the stronghold of the Mirage Village and keep it powerful.
Sample RP:
Tatsu trudged through the mounds of dirt. His shadow followed him, long and stretching behind him like some behemoth. His eyes cast at the ground. He kept on walking in silence, not knowing where he was going exactly, just going. Pictures flashed through his mind. There was a happy picture of his mother. It was only two years ago, but it seemed like forever. He felt as if someone or something just ripped the photograph in two, and perhaps that's what really happened.
'Why did this happen? Why do people hate us? Shadow-Chi? How could we have done such a horrible thing? I don't want it to be gone. i don't.....' He thought. As he walked, he took a kunai from it's pouch and held it, gripped tightly in his left hand. It was cold steel.....coldness.....that's exactly how he felt, cold and alone. But soon, it became warm, and eventually it was a bit hot.
The sun beat down on his shoulders. The young boy's hair shone brightly like fire. The fire on the sea of dunes that was this desert in the Wind Country. The child's darkned eyes opened, bright green shining in the sunlight. He sneezed. He had been gone from here too far long. He had to adapt to the climate once more. He hated this......he clutched the iron blade.
He thought of the ANBU. They destroyed his home, and beat him and his mother, and she had died. And where was everyone else? Were there not anyone to fight them off? It seemed as though there weren't. Thinking on this he clenched his teeth and sighed, a bit raspy. He stopped in his trail. The sand swirled about him, as if it was swayed to his emotion. He payed it no mind however. He just stared at the blade, and in it's reflection he saw simply death. Death of his family.....how he wanted the ANBU dead......but then, he saw himself, looking past the images, the reflection was clear.
"I am the cause of this? It was me......it was my fault!" He yelled. Tears streamed down his face. He slumped to hsi knees in the sand, and cried for a few minutes, until, he snarled visciously. He took the kunai in his hand, and slashed it across his own face, tracing the tears. His eyes were wide, but he made no sound, taking in the pain of it. He let the excessive blood fall to the ground. It was where it belonged.
"Now everyone will know my pain. I don't have to cry anymore." He said weakly. He dropped the bloody kunai into the ground, and he stared at his hands. His hands that could do so much destruction. He tought, looking there at them, and seeing the blood, and feeling the wounds, that he could do something great with the powe he had. and then he said, getting back on his feet, as he placed one hand on one kneed and propped himself back up. He stood tall and looked back up at the hot white sun, and said....
"I will fight for my name, so that I will not be forgotten. I will make a difference. All my enemies will pay."
MOOGLE AWWWWAAAAYYYY!!!
Alex silently sat down as Sam prepared to begin training. “You may think our training today is odd, Alex, and it probably is, but it will help you. The training today includes nothing except your brain and what it knows, what it can do. Very little chakra, or ninjutsu. Today is all about sharpening your mind, and being clever.” Alex was puzzled for a moment. How could an entire training session have nothing to do with a little chakra and jutsu stuff, and mostly brain power? Alex knew that being a ninja required strategy, but usually it wasn’t an all sit down thing. Sam silently sat there, thinking. “Alright…we’ll play a little game…I’ll give you a situation, and you’ll try to get out of it. Not literally, but you’ll tell me a plan.”
Alex nodded. This didn’t seem so bad. Maybe it would be fun. “Okay. A chunnin has you pinned down. Just you. Throughout the battlefield, you have 3 Shadow Clones that are low on chakra. What’s your attack plan?” Alex thought for a moment, then thought something up. “One Shadow Clone leaps up and tries to make a run for it. Chances say the chunnin will attack, and when he does, the other two Shadow Clones leap forward, and each throw a kunai. As those two surprise him, I will leap out from the cover I’m under, and find a better spot to attack from. When I do, I check if my Shadow Clones are still there. If they are, I will start throwing kunai at the chunnin. If not, I wait for an attacking chance.”
Sam thought for a moment. “Not bad. If my past experiences are correct, that would give you about 60% survival chance.” Alex gasped. “But, you’re only a genin, and against a chunnin, those chances are remarkable. Alex’s gasp went away. He felt a little proud of himself. “But do you think you could do it in a real situation?” Alex thought for a moment. “I’m not sure.” He replied. “Good. You should never give an ultimatum for your ninja life. You should always have doubts, back doors. Keeps you alive.” Alex grinned. This was going well.
“Now, your second situation. You have at your disposal 20 genin, and you have to face 5 jounin. You yourself are included in the 20 genin, and you are the leader. So, you can decide what to do with the 19 other genin. They all know basic jutsu, and are average skilled in all forms of ninjutsu. None of them no genjutsu. 5 of them know water clones, and 10 know water wall. You are defending a castle with two entrances. How do you defend?”
Alex thought for a moment. “Are any of the genin particularly good at throwing kunai or shuriken?” Sam thought for a few moments. “No.” Alright, take the four genin that can’t use a jutsu, and place them up near the top of the castle to use shuriken or kunai as projectiles. Take 3 of the water clones genin, and place them at an entrance, and place the other two at the other entrance. Put 5 water wall genin at each entrance. The water clones genin’s goal is to make water clones and attack. The water wall genin are to keep a constant stream of defense. I will be inbetween the two entrances, making 4 shadow clones and distributing them equally among the entrances. I will be helping the entrance that needs the most help.”
Sam looked around. “You’re kinda smart. That’s about the best you could do, considering your options. You could have made an adjustment here and there, but your survival rate might be 30 or 40%. Alex didn’t gasp. He knew that because it was genin against jounin, the chance for survival would be low, and that was generous. Alex grinned. Sam chuckled. “Well, we’ve sparked your mind a little. You ready for the third scenario?” Alex looked down. “I guess.”
He was pretty freaking scared right then. Not because of he might do bad, but because of how hard it might be. He was pretty sure it wasn’t going to be easy.
Alex sat there patiently, waiting for Sam to say the last scenario part of this training day. Alex glanced off to the right, wondering what it would be like. It couldn’t be that bad. Maybe it wasn’t so hard. Maybe he was over exaggerating it. But, Sam had been known for doing the unexpected, pulling that last extra mile no one thought he could do. Alex felt nervous inside. Sam, glancing up into space, was thinking hard. Alex could tell. He had seen that look on his father many times before. It seemed like it happened almost every day now. Sam seemed about ready, and Alex straightened himself. Sam began to talk.
“You are being held captive by a group of enemy jounin who think you are a simple civilian. There is an open window to your left. You are not tied to anything, you are only in a locked room. What do you do?” Alex answered quickly. “Create a Shadow Clone, then jump out the window.” Sam smiled. “Good job. As you land, you make a vase fall off of a stand and make a loud noise. In 5 seconds, ninja from both sides of the corridor you landed in will rush in, ready to kill. 5 seconds. Go.” Alex thought. “Uh…um…I use transformation jutsu to turn into…a…uh…dog!” Sam grinned. You turn into a dog. The guards arrive. They chastise you for crashing it, kick you, and send you off. You have avoided death for now.”
“You are still on the enemy camp, and still inside. You hear alerts around the area. They have attempted to kill you…I mean your Shadow Clone, and they found out that…well…it was a Shadow Clone. An old elder of the small camp points out that he has never seen that dog before. Guards rush towards you. What do you do?” Alex thought for a moment, then replied, “Turn back to normal, make 3 or 4 clones, and run as the clones fight the guards.” Sam grinned again. “You’re doing pretty good. By now, you almost have no chakra left, but the exit is clear. A single guard blocks your path. He says, ‘Stop now, and you might live.’ How do you respond?”
Alex answered quickly. “I say, ‘You tried to kill my clone, you’re lying.’” Sam laughed. “You’re doing good. The guard rushes at you with his spear, planning to kill. What do you do?” Alex thought for a second, then said. “I duck. It’s a spear, and chances are he isn’t a ninja, so I duck, break the spear, dispatch him, and leave.” Sam started chuckling. “You did alright, Alex. If I had to give you a grade, it’d be about a 20%. But that’s really just because you’re a genin. With all the jounin and countless guards, with that plan, you have a pretty good chance of living. “ Alex smiled. “Well, you’ve done that part. But we do have other things to do.”
Alex stood up. “Like what?” Sam pulled Alex down. “Don’t get too riled up, I’m going to further your knowledge a little.” Alex listened carefully. Sam started to talk about good technique on aerial Shadow Clone attacks. “Now, you have to keep your attacks at a steady rate. If you hit the opponent hard, then hard, then go weak, that gives them confidence. It breaks the spell on them. If you keep up the good, hard punches, and end with a bang, it gives them the feeling that you have your technique under control. If you throw hard punches, then mess up, not only does it break the chain, it gives the opponent a chance to strike, to regain their senses, or, even worse, since you’ll be in the air, start an aerial combo on YOU. It’s about consistency. Remember yesterday, when I did that combo on you? All my punches were hard, fast, and hurt, didn’t they?” Alex quickly nodded. He still ached from that. “Your combos are good, but on a few hits, it lacks power. Now, if you get one of your Shadow Clones to do a flurry of punches or kicks, they don’t have to be super powerful, because it’s so fast, but you still have to make sure that you have powerful punches. Okay?” Alex nodded. Even though it was a long speech, he got it. “Now…we have a little more to touch. Ready?” Alex nodded.
MOOGLE AWWWWAAAAYYYY!!!
Alex was sitting down, waiting for Sam to begin speaking. Sam seemed to be thinking of something. Sam stood up, and lifted one hand up. He began to charge chakra there, and eventually it made a small ball of bluish gray chakra. Sam brought his hand down for Alex to see. “I call this Exploding Chakra jutsu. You charge chakra into your hands, or in this case, hand. It is a jutsu similar to something else. Do you know what it is?” Alex nodded. “Rasengan. It’s a very powerful jutsu. Hard to learn, too.” Sam smiled. “You know your stuff. This is a jutsu I used to train myself to try to learn Rasengan.” Alex looked up at Sam. “Have you learned it yet?” Sam shook his head. “It’s hard. Now, we won’t be trying to learn this today, as I said this would be mostly intelligence stuff, but how would you do this?”
Alex responded. “I’d focus chakra into my hand, and try to form it into a ball. When I would release it, I’m guessing it would make an explosion sound?” Sam laughed, and threw the ball at a tree. It made an explosion sound, and made a hole in the tree. “At close range, that attack can be deadly, I’ve learned. Now, where do you think a good place to use this technique would be?” Alex thought for a moment. It’s an attack that can push the opponent, obviously, and it can deal heavy damage…hm…suddenly, Alex had it.
“At the end of an aerial combo!” He yelled out excitedly. Sam nodded. “I’ve used it as a finisher many times before.” Alex smiled. He hoped Sam would teach that technique to him. “Now…I’m starting to run out of things…hm…let me think…” Alex waited patiently, but started thinking. “What could I do with that kind of ability?” Alex only knew one advanced jutsu, Shadow Clones, and that was it. With the Exploding Chakra jutsu, he could expand his horizons. Make more opportunities for himself.
“Alex, pay attention. We’re almost through. Just last through a bit more. Now…I’ve taught you all these things, but do you think you could pull them off?” Alex thought for a moment, and nodded his head slowly. “You won’t need to show me now. But, let’s recap. Aerial combos, how do you do them?” Alex responded quickly. “Knock opponent in air, begin attack. Make sure all attacks are hard, fast, and strong. Keep consistency or the opponent will find an opening to attack. Be quick.” Sam smiled. “Now, that’s about all we really talked about. But what about the Exploding Chakra jutsu?” Alex replied, “You use your chakra to form a ball, and when released, causes an explosion like sound and can throw the opponent. Can be used at clo-…” Alex stopped. “Wouldn’t using at close range hurt the user?” Sam smiled. “You got it. There is a slight recoil, but training can make it so you can direct the explosion of chakra. Nice catch.”
Alex laughed. He thought today wouldn’t of been so good. As it turned out, Alex liked the day more than he thought he would. But…he felt like Sam had something up his sleeve…like one final test. Sam glanced over at Alex, and gave him a devilish look. Alex felt uneasy. Like something was about to happen. “Alex, in a one story house, the chairs are blue, the floors are blue, the walls are blue, the windows are blue, and the TV is blue. What color are the stairs?”
Alex quickly devises a plan. “Blue.” Sam responds, “It’s a one story house.” Alex quickly says, “I was talking about the cellar stairs!” Sam groans, and Alex laughs. Birds are still chirping. It’s about 4 PM now, Alex and Sam had been training for several hours. “Uh…Grandpa…can you come home yet?” Sam shook his head. “Why not?” “Your father wouldn’t let me come back.” Alex was confused. “Why?” Sam quietly said, “When he was 3 years old I left him. When you saw me, he didn’t know about it.” Sam then jumped off into the woods, leaving Alex all alone.
All, all alone.
But Alex had one last impulse. That he needed to learn one last thing. THE SIGNS He had remembered. “GRANDPA! WHAT ARE THE SIGNS!” He yelled at the top of his lungs. At first, he got nothing. Then, a piece of paper flew from the woods. It had the words Dragon, Horse, Ram, Horse. Alex grimaced. He couldn’t do more than three hand signs effectively. He knew he’d need to practice them. He raised his hands up and began doing the signs. Dragon, Horse, Ram, gah. He messed up. He immediately noted this and put it at the top of his list.
He started walking home, doing the signs. Dragon, Horse, Ram, Horse. He could do them slowly. But in combat, he’d need to do them fast in order to have a good effect. Dragon, Horse, Ram, Ram. “Gah…got my hands stuck.” Alex had never really liked doing hand signs. He wished all jutsu could just be shot out. That’s why he enjoyed Shadow Clones so much. It was only one sign. But he still wanted the Exploding Chakra jutsu. A lot.
So he continued the training with his hand signs. Glancing off into the forest, he knew his Grandpa would be there tomorrow. But, he had to get his Grandpa to see his father somehow. Alex was quietly thinking to himself and doing the hand signs. Dragon, Dragon…”Damn.” Alex started over again. Dragon, Horse, Ram, Horse. He did it, but still, he did it slowly. He hated this. He wanted to get it over with.
So he continued walking. It was still daytime, but something about it was different. The birds weren’t chirping. There was a feeling of sadness. Alex felt it. It was from his Grandpa, no doubt. Dragon, Horse, Ram, Ram. “Crap.” The wind was slow, and made a low pitched flute sound. It gave Alex goose bumps as he walked in the forest, heading back to the village. Dragon, Horse, Ram, “Damn!” Alex had messed up again.
He came to the waterfall. Jumping into the water, he began his trip back into the village. Even in the water, he was doing the hand seals. Dragon, Horse, Horse, “CRAP!” Alex pulled himself out of the water and started walking towards the village. He wasn’t walking very fast. Making it into the village, he continued the hand seal practicing. Dragon, Ram, Ram, Dragon. Alex threw his hands down. He thought it was pointless now. He wished his grandpa were here to help him out. But he quickly pulled his hands up, using his unbeatable attitude to give him the will to go on.
Dragon, Horse, Ram, Horse. He did it slowly again. He was nearing his house now. He began doing it fast. Dragon, Horse, Ram, Ram. “Crap.” Nothing was really going on in the village. He made it to his front doorstep, and walked inside. His father was cooking. “Hey Alex.” “Dragon, Horse, Ram, gah.” Alex’s father, Max, looked puzzled. “Are you practicing the Exploding Chakra jutsu?” Alex nodded, without thinking.
Suddenly, Max grabbed Alex’s arm. “Where is my father?” Alex looked up at Max. “Uh…I dunno where Grandpa is.” Max looked serious. “Don’t lie. My father created that jutsu, and passed it on to me. By the way, keep practicing it. It’s a good jutsu.” Max let go of Alex’s arm, and Alex carried on. He knew they’d have a talk about that later, but for now, he kept practicing. “Dragon, Horse, Ram, Horse….hey! I did it!” Alex, feeling happy, ran downstairs and hugged his dad.
U guys dont understand how Ten years work...We need Cloud, cause if this was all we had to do with mine, then why didnt it happen, I think we are supposed to grade u on the 10 year, giving u a certain amount of points, but they are diffrent than the normal grading system, for I got a freakin 25...so we should wait till he is here.
Crimson, if someone is to actually do the 10 year skip, they automatically get the +25. I didn't know that when you were typing yours, so you kind of went way over the requirement that was set for it. At least you can show off having one of the longest histories...
Anyway, back to business. This has already been granted 1 staff member's approval. Hmmmm.... So that means you only need mine huh? :P I guess i could do the honors. Approved.
