On Your Mark

Lyrics

Above is a Youtube link to a Music Video made by Hayao Miyazaki for a Japanese music group. I had to share this, because it some how touched me. It was short true with absolutely no dialog, but it was really beautiful. This is relevant to me because one of Mr. Miyazaki's movies is going to be showing in the theatre in my town this weekend titled, "Tales from EarthSea." it's directed by his son however since he was busy doing, "Howl's Moving Castle." at the time.

I am so looking forward to seeing this film...I hope to see it in the cinema, but if I'm not fortunate enough to see another masterpiece of Miyazaki on the big screen...I'll have to get it on DVD. Either way, I WILL watch it.

If you have seen the film I'd like to hear your thoughts on the movie, spoilers or not...I don't care. Oh, and if you enjoyed that music video or not. Discuss Studio Ghibli here!

Miyazaki = <3

My neighbor Totoro, Howl's Moving Castle, The Cat Returns, Castle in the Sky, Princess Mononoke, etc, I just love his (and his son's) films so much. He has so much creativity. If it has his name on it, I will watch it mostly.

My favorite = Kiki's Delivery Service.

I really liked Howl's Moving Castle, but they're all beyond wonderful.

And that was really cool.
