The moon fell on the bright river racing through the ground like a drunken snake chasing a mouse. Sounds of water running and frogs roaring filled the air with a dull hum of hybrid noises. Yet what stood out was the darkness hidden deeper into the night, a night that brought a chill onto the flesh of man and woman alike, a vestige of summer becoming winter from seasons changing. Signs, omens and ill-illusions of every kind filled the night, often overlooked by the common-folk who lore themselves in daily tasks only to fade away with time, having nothing. But, this darkness that brought itself to the river at this particular night craves for more than just that. This darkness craves for Sin, eternal Sin.

A gust picked up, brushing against the long black hair of a silhouette of a man sanding by the edge of the river. A black vest, that of a Chuunin, embraced his upper torso as black streams of cloth seemed to be blowing with the wind in his hand. At a closer look the streams of cloth are a headband and a metal plate with a slash running through what would be the symbol of Mirage was embedded onto it.

"Times like these..." A light voice called out.

"Yes... wonder... That... Child..." Only few words could ever be heard from the darker voice that seemed to be coming from the same spot as the lighter one. The heavy winds from a cold front along with the sound of running water and breeding frogs seemed to block out sensible messages from the figure standing by the river.

"But he is... now... do anything.... a great warrior." Were the next set of broken phrases and sentences. It was the light voice. "Let's go." The same voice called out once more, the figure began to turn away from the river with the Moon standing out just behind the man as if he planned this moment on purpose, prepared to have his picture taken and photo-shopped for his own egotistical pleasure. His face was bold yet had very feminist-like features. He could easily dress as a woman and not even be looked at but once. His pants were long and black, tight against his legs showing no sign of being a man. It made him seem to be a built woman in the clothing of a man. Hair down past his lower back did not help, along with the pale white skin showing a lack of touch from the Sun. Long black sleeves ran from the vest to his wrists where a black tattoo stuck out from the one on the left.

"I bore of this place" The light voice said, his lips moving softly like that of a woman.

"Fine... but I will be in control. I wish to train. I have yet to acquire the skill I need." The dark voice said, from the same mouth. The lips moved much harsher this time. They were very much like a man and smiled through every word. His hands slowly moved to his head as he placed the black headband onto his forehead to flaunt the betrayal he made on the Mirage Village which he had grown to detest. It was time to move on. Time to start a new story.

It was a dark and eerie night indeed; the kind of night that makes young children want to climb into their warm beds and hide under their blankets, their shield from the unknown. In fact, this was the kind of night that would make adults do the same. Whatever fear you had hidden deep down inside of you would show itself and dance as an illusion in the darkness.

The grayed clouds drew open like heavy curtains at a theater hall to reveal to everyone that the moon was indeed high in the sky that night. It's silver light shone down upon the ground and cut through the veil of darkness, lending it's light to all who were in need of it. And there was one person who did need it this night.

The moonlight danced upon the soft tan skin of a young girl who was slouched under a tree taking a rest. The light beckoned the girls eyelids to open and reveal a pair of sorrow filled brown eyes. The girl raised a hand to rub her eyes in order to make her vision more clear. She glanced around at the view of what she could see, now that there was some light. She noticed that everything was how it should be; the trees were slightly swaying in the chilly wind, and the grass was lightly damp to the touch from an early dew that had set in.

The girl let out a soft sigh as she rubbed her face with her tiny hands and stood up. She began brushing herself off and adjusting her clothes, starting with her skirt. She wore a crimson red skirt that was just long enough to cover herself; she adjusted it to where the slits up the sides were aligned with the sides of her thighs, and then adjusted it once more so that it was tilted to one side, resting on her left hip, and draped below her right. She then adjusted the black belt that allowed her skirt to stay at such an awkward angle. The girl then moved up to the red fabric that covered her bosom-area, which was covered by wrapped bandages down past her thin waist and down to her navel, and dusted it off. She then did the same to the red arm sleeves, which started above her elbows and ended at the start of her fingers, and was held on by black bands. She then ran her fingers through her long, lower back length black hair, which boasted red highlights, and tied to the lower half of her face, a black piece of cloth. Over that she dangled her ninjas headband.

The raised her arms high into the air to stretch, as if she were reaching for something. She held that position for a bit as the moonlight danced on her small 5' 3" frame. After rubbing her eyes once more, she let out another sigh.

'Glad the moon is out. I couldn't handle seeing that nightmare any longer.' The girl though to herself as she started down the worn away path that would lead her to water.

The girl stood above the water, watching as the moon shone on the surface of the water, for the water had become like an obsidian mirror that could reveal one's utmost desires. She kneeled down next to the river and peered into it, revealing the face of Kyousei Mokumoku. She brushed a large group of dark hair strands, which were Moku's bangs, out of the way to reveal her eyes. She saw how sad her eyes had become over the course of a year and a half; they had began to tear up once again.

Of course, this was nothing new to Moku, she was always crying nowadays. She watched as a single heavy tear broke the surface of the water, and broke the silence of the night. A wind began to pick up, and the moon took shelter behind the clouds once more.

A single tear, falling gracefully into the river spread ripples in a foot radius disturbing the calm waters. Long black hair hung over the shoulders of the tanned girl as a face seemed to reflect off of the water she stared so harshly into. It was the face of Sin, a man contemplating what to do next when suddenly a new face showed up just now. He saw her crying yards away from him and approached her silently only to hang his head just above her own, allowing his hair to drip onto her.

"Hello.... Who might you be?" Sin asked with a wide smile on his face. His right hand curled up towards the girls face where he caught a tear with a single finger. His nails were as black as death, yet his hands were as white as an angel's breath. He curled his finger down after the tear settled only for it to run down towards the very tip of his finger, hanging off as if it clung to him for dear life.

He giggled lightly as he quickly snapped his hand and caught the tear as it fell. It smashed onto the palm of his hand spreading into several small pools of salty liquid. Sin slowly moved his hand towards his face, not even really paying attention to the girl and if she had even said anything. Sadly, she couldn't. Sin knew not though, he thought she was just putrefied with fear of him. Oh what an egotistical bastard he was. His hand reached his face as he stuck his tongue out, licking the tears off of his hand with a smile. It was just then that he noticed she had not responded with words.

"Interesting... you are different, aren't you?" Sin asked aloud, not expecting an answer of any kind. He was merely making an observation and talking aloud. "You may call me God. But others enjoy calling me Sin. Well, you may know me as God. Hehe...." He said aloud again with a light giggle as he stood completely erect. Staring at the girl, wherever she may be intensely. His wicked smile grew larger as he removed his hand from his face, placing it by his side.

Mokumoku's eyes were fixed upon the surface of the Hiendo River; any onlookers peering over her thin shoulders would merely see the girl looking at her own sorrow filled reflection; however, Moku saw something completely different than what the obsidian river showed. The ripples from her one single tear had subsided, and Moku's eyes relaxed as her memory began to override her vision.

As her memory visualized, the water began to fade from a dark midnight blue to a soft sky blue, revealing a reflection of the sky as Moku had remembered it. The sky was dotted with fluffy, white clouds, and overhead hung a bright, warm afternoon sun which danced on the surface of the water and reflected onto the faces of two happy people who were looking at each other's reflection. One was the face of a young man who wore a smile on his light colored face, and upon his chin was a brown goatee. He had long brown hair which was pulled back into a pony tail, except for a few strands which had fallen out while playing with the woman he was happily gazing at with his light brown eyes.

The woman was no one other than Moku-chan, whose appearance was quite different than it is now. She was not wearing her face mask, and her ninja headband served its purpose upon her head. Her smiling lips were colored with a hint of pink, her cheeks were rosy with love, and her eyes glimmered with happiness as she gazed at the young man who was returning the favor.

'Shin...kan...' Moku mouthed as she snapped back into reality.

Tears quickly began to stream down young Moku's face, as if they had become their own river. The salty streams formed a delta along her small chin, and finally, dripped into the water. As Moku sat, lost in her own thoughts, the constant drips created a rhythm which had caught Moku's attention as she sat still along the riverbed. She closed her eyes and let the soothing sound of the drops calm her nerves. She listened to the music of the drops, one after another, splashing into the river. It had almost lulled her to sleep until she noticed an irregular pause in the rhythm, the drops had skipped a "beat."

In her half-asleep state, she could hear what she thought was someone in the background, but she was only able to pick up a few words, due to her not coming to her senses yet.

"...Interesting...different...God...Sin..." said the dark voice, followed by a light laughter.

Moku felt the presence move from hovering over her to standing up straight. Moku took this chance to move away from her vulnerable spot and into a more secure position. She quickly stood up and shifted to the side of the person who had been watching her. She stood five feet away from this person and eyed this new presence.

This new person was taller than she, and had the same color hair, but minus the red and twice as long. It was a very thin and rather feminine person, but in no way fragile. This person was quite built, which led Moku to believe that this must be a man.

A few moments passed before Moku realized that her face was in plain sight. Lately, she had not wanted anyone to see her in the sorrow filled state she was in, so she quickly brushed her dark bangs back in front of her eyes in order to hide her tears. Besides, Moku had taken in everything she could about this person, appearance wise anyway. This person did have a rather eerie appearance, but Moku wasn't sure whether to feel threatened or at ease, as she was picking up two different vibes from this person. So she stood there, waiting for this person to act, whether his intentions be good or bad.

(Sorry for the wait, see my Vent in Spam for details as to why.

A giggle filled the air as Sin arched his back, allowing the moonlight to engulf his being. It was odd, it was as if this girl reminded him of something. He couldn't help but think about that time when he looked at her, a time when he was once so helpless as she seemed to be. It was adorable, cute... and he hated it. It filled him with memories he didn't want to have and it bothered Shi. Thankfully Sin was in control and it was thanks to that, that allowed Shi to sleep and not break down from these memories that Sin so easily laughs at.

"Oh you are a prize, aren't you?" Sin said to the girl as he took a single step forward with a smile on his face. His giggle subdued slightly as he stopped in his tracks. His head began to lean to the side, his hair falling strand by strand onto his shoulder. They beat onto him like drums from not being groomed daily, Sin did not care and seemed to be in control more and more nowadays. Shi on the other hand took time to groom himself unlike Sin, it was the only reason Sin had any feminine appearance in any way. If it were up to Sin, he would be nude and covered in blood. But, it isn't always that way. "I remember the first time.... yes... it was almost twenty years ago. Maybe longer..." Sin chuckled...

["Hello Shi..." A voice muttered inside his head. The child's eyes opened, he actually heard someone. "Who are you...?" the child said to himself inside his own mind while the children were laughing at him. "I am.. an inner you.. one who has built up over time Shi.. you can call me Sin." The voice said. This voice was very mature and had a deep tone that would send chills down any mans spine. "Can you help me... Sin?" The child asked Sin as if he were desperate for help. "Of course I can.. I can make all your troubles.. go away.." Sin said as the child stopped moving entirely..] He thought to himself, remembering the first time he met Shi and came to the body he controls so eagerly now. Sin popped back into reality when he realized the girl had yet to say a single word.

"Silent prey then... this is different I normally get a scream or a 'Please don't hurt me' by now. But you're different.... I hate it." Sin muttered the last part under his breath with a smile. His hands quickly came to his chest to form the seal of the Snake and the Dog following immediately after wards. Chakra began to build into his mouth as he removed his hands to a holster on the flap part of his Chuunin vest, removing three throwing stars from it. He began to smile wide as what looked to be a white ooze started to seep out from his lips onto his chin and the ground below him. [A new Jutsu for you my dead... be the first for me to test it on.] He thought to himself.

Spider Bind

Sin opened his mouth as he shot out a rather large web towards the girl, hoping to hit... if not, he prepared a counterattack already. He watched and waited for her to react to his attack. Smiling, watching and waiting patiently. He was trying to play the role of the spider, quite odd for him. Sin normally used a puppet to fight... but it looks like he is finally taking another route in combat. Thankfully he came across someone much lower in skill than he to play with or this may have turned out bad.

'What...is he laughing at?' Moku thought to herself as she brought her hands up to her face and felt around. The small, delicate fingers of one hand brushed against the soft skin of her face, while the other ran it's fingers through the dark, thick bangs that loomed over her eyes. She quickly realized that he might have gotten a glimpse of her face.

'Is he laughing at my pain?' She thought to herself, feeling a slight new hatred towards the person who stood in front of her. Her hands quickly shot towards the back of her head as if they had been propelled by a strong force, a force that was not noticeable by appearance, thanks to Moku's bangs. Anger controlled these hands as they seized every dark strand of hair and pulled them up towards the top of her head. Her new hairstyle created a dark fountain of hair that seemed to flow out of the top of her head and down to her shoulders, where it seemed to drip off and trail down her back. She held it there as she took another glance at the man.

'Could he have killed Shinkan?' She bit her lip, contemplating whether or not to give this man a piece of her mind. According to the vow she made to herself, she would only speak if her voice would bring back her love, or help silence the person who killed him. Since she had no clue who had killed him, it could be anyone...it could be this man. Once Moku's voice left her mouth, it would have to be the end for this man, she would not allow her voice to be used in vain again. Her lips parted underneath her mask as Moku prepared to speak to her new enemy, but instead, he beat her to it.

"Oh, you're a prize, aren't you?"

The man took a step forward, causing Moku to take a step back. 'A...prize..?' Moku thought to herself, wondering what he could mean. She wondered if this man killed Shinkan to have her. She clenched her hair even tighter as she grasped a white tie she had dangled around her wrist and quickly began to tie up her hair. She gave this man an evil glare from behind her bangs as he cocked his head to the side and spoke.

"I remember the first time.... yes... it was almost twenty years ago. Maybe longer..."

Moku shut her lips and allowed her arms to drop to her sides. Her long hair fanned out and rested on the air before gracefully falling down behind her back. 'Twenty years...?' She let out a sigh and smiled. This man wasn't the man who killed Shinkan. Moku was only 19, and the murder took place a year and a half ago. 'Good thing I didn't say anything...I wonder what he is talking about then...' Moku was so caught up in thought that she barely heard the man say something else.

"Silent prey....But you're different..."

'Different? What does he mean...Huh?!' Moku's eyes shot from the man's face to his chest where his hands were quickly forming the seals of the Snake and Dog. Moku looked around to see what these seals were going to create and her eyes were drawn to the man's mouth. 'Looks like...spider's web?'

Moku's right hand grasped the fan she had placed underneath her belt and opened it in one quick flick of the wrist. She brought it up to eye level, then closed her eyes and focused her chakra into to the fan.

Slashing Winds

Moku brought the fan down to her left leg, still focusing on it as she listened for his next move. Mere moments later, a sickening squelching sound filled the air as Moku's enemy unleashed a white goo from his mouth. She could hear the goo cutting through the air as it neared her. Her eyes shot open and she quickly thrust her fan upwards, causing a great gust of wind to emit from the end of her fan. As the goo began to turn into strands, Moku's jutsu was severing them, but her jutsu wasn't strong enough for this man's dark jutsu. Her winds were quickly overtaken by the web that was still hurtling at her.

'Oh no.' Moku thought. She had to think quick, she didn't want to be stuck in this guy's mouth juice. 'I was hoping that would work...Well, there's no use for this fan anymore....wait!!' Moku no longer needed her fan, so she thought she would dispose of it by throwing it at the man, hoping he would think it was a lame attack of some sort and not pay it any mind. She quickly threw the fan towards the right side of her enemy while focusing her chakra on it once again. She could feel the web spitting the air as it neared her and she stood there until it was an inch from her chest.

Replacement Jutsu
Sound Pulse

In an instant, she had appeared next to her enemy, in the spot that was previously occupied by her fan. She quickly performed the seals of the Snake and the Rat and thrust the fingers of her right hand towards the man's right side.

A sinister smile creped onto Sin's face as the fruitless attempt at deflecting his technique brushed past him, blowing his long black hair back. Her winds would have probably deflected his projectile attacks with weapons like Kunai and stars... but his Ninjutsu, especially his Ninjutsu, was far too powerful. She was running out of options, she needed to get out of the way, and that involved riding herself of that precious fan of hers that served little use to her now that she realized she was outclassed in every way in his presence.

"Adorable...." Was the only word he muttered as his eyes shifted slowly to the side, glaring at her face. Her moves were easy to see, she was a novice in every way. But, just because he could see her move... it did not make it so he could avoid it. He was not worried though, he doubted she could have done too much damage to him.

His smile grew vivid as he watched her perform the hand seals, he had a chance then.... but did not take it. His curiosity grew inside him as to what techniques she had in store for him. She performed the final seal as she placed her hands out to what was not his chest. Her seals were performed slowly, just below the speed at which he did his own. Few ninja now days can perform seals quickly, few indeed. [I wonder what Ninjutsu she is going to use....] Sin thought to himself as her hands pressed against his chest releasing a pulse of sound outward.

"Gah!" He yelped aloud as he was shot backwards, but not by far. Although she bore the technique, her skill involved in it was but at the level of a Genin. The force did put space between them though. His body flopped around in the air like a professional acrobat at speeds faster than Sin normally moved, it was difficult for him to gain control for his style of fighting was usually different. But he felt he needed a change of pace, especially since warriors he feared meeting, like Kenji, Kurisu and Cloud, all know ways of defeating his puppet act. "So Sound and Wind are your tools.... let's see if this suffices to your ability" Sin muttered to himself in mid air as he performed the seal of the Snake once again, following with the Dog just like before. He knew she might recognize the hand seals, if she were paying attention... but this time she had no true means of escape. Not only had she used up a lot of chakra, but using the replacement technique would just bring her back to the fan.

Spider Bind

Sin opened his mouth, releasing the large web of goo towards Kiza. It slowly turned into a large web heading for her at a great speed. It was at this point that Sin landed on his feet from the push, leaning forward so he would not flip backward. His right hand grabbed a kunai from his vest, slamming it into the ground. He and the weapon slipped backwards a good two feet before he stopped in movement.

"You're caught now..." Sin muttered to himself as he span around, hurling his kunai towards the location of Kiza's fan just in case she decided to use the replacement technique. Even then, Sin had another trick up his sleeve. Just barely visible to the naked eye, several blue strings were attached to the kunai that was being hurled towards her fan. Sin placed puppet strings on them, just in case he had to use it for a change in direction. Sin has no only saw where she might escape to, planned to attack that escape but he had also planned how to counter her dodge if she could manage to avoid both.

Sin began to giggle to himself with a wide smile, wiping a small trickle of blood from his lip with his free hand. It seems that the sound rushing through his body caused a minor bother within him. He coughed up a small amount of blood when he landed earlier. [She somehow seemed to have hurt a small bit of tissue around the diaphragm. Nothing vital or deadly, but it would be best that I not get hit with her attack again.] Sin thought to himself as he continued his childish giggle.

(((Cloud, silly man, you used teh wrong name up there, this is Sin and Moku's thread, Kiza hasn't been created yet XD )))

The indentions of Moku's lips under her mask formed into a slight smile as she watched her enemy's body flail through the air. Moku's gaze shifted over to the area in which she was standing mere seconds ago, noting that her fan that was now occupying that spot. 'That will be a last resort...If I have any chakra left that is...' She quickly turned her attention back to the man who was still flying through the air from her previous attack. Although Moku had appeared to be ahead in this battle, she knew that this was not the case. For this man was much stronger than she, and his performance of the seals were much faster than her own. Not to mention that his attacks were considerably stronger than hers as well.

'That jutsu should at least put some distance between us.' Moku thought as she noticed controlled movement among his body. 'What is he up to?' His hands were back up to his chest, and once again, he formed the seals of the Snake followed by the Dog. A disgusting sound echoed through the air and into Moku's ears. She knew this sound, very well in fact.

'He's toying with me!!' Moku thought furiously. She jumped backwards, throwing up her own hands as well and performing two familiar seals.

'Two can play at this game.'

Sound Pulse

Moku gracefully landed to the right an old tree that bore dying limbs. Its bark was dry and cracked, the leaves had turned a dull orange color, and the overall color of the tree was a pale brownish-gray...the color of oldness and frailty. 'This one will do fine. The limbs will easily snap.' Moku fingers passed through the seal of the Snake and the Rat before thrusting into the brittle bark of the tree; the jutsu sent a powerful vibration up it's trunk. Immediately after, Moku removed her bleeding fingers from the bark and clenched them into a fist.

Moku shifted her stance once more, this time turning sideways yet keeping her head facing her target; her body faced the tree to her right. Her knees were bent slightly and her left foot was pivoted in the direction in which she was facing. Most of her weight was distributed upon her front left foot, which suggested that she was about to do some sort of physical attack involving her back foot. She closed her eyes and focused her chakra.

Sound Wave Blast

Moku's eyes shot open and locked onto her nearing target, that web jutsu that seemed to be rather redundant in this battle, or at least thats what Moku thought. 'IS THAT THE ONLY MOVE YOU'VE GOT?!' She shouted mentally, as if this man could actually hear her words.

As she screamed, the limbs of the tree snapped.

Moku channeled the sound of the limbs snapping to the right of her and grinned again. 'Perfect.' She thought as her back foot launched off of the ground and into a roundhouse kick to the spot she had been channeling sound to. A fraction of a second before her foot reached the area, a 12" ball of sound formed and hovered in the air just long enough to be struck by Moku's powerful kick. The sound blast thrust towards her enemy's web, threatening to tear it to shreds.

Moku's dark eyes were fixed on what was going on in front of her, watching. 'Judging from my slashing winds, this should do a bit more damage, but probably won't get rid of it.' She quickly formulated a new plan and reached down to her right leg. Her fingers felt around for her leg strap, leaving smears of crimson all along her thigh. She found the strap and removed two kunai from her bloodstained strap. 'I'm ready.' She thought as she stood in her stance, grasping a kunai in each hand.

It was just as Moku thought, her jutsu was not strong enough. The web was still flying toward her, but it was indeed a little weakened by her attack. She crouched down as she prepared to take on the entanglement, holding her kunai at her sides. She lunged forward, firing herself at the web as if she were a missile. As her tiny body approached the web at full speed. Moku flung the two kunai around her fingers, then grasped them the way in which one would hold a sword. She crossed her arms in front of her chest, and as she met with the web, her arms shot out. Her kunai sliced through and made quick work of the assault.

A tiny body emerged from the other side of the web; she had broken through. Still flying through the air, Moku reached into the pouch that dangled off of the belt around her waist. Her hand worked quickly to replace one the her kunai with a new form of weapon. Her feet landed on the ground, just long enough for her to launch her self back up into the air. Looking down at her opponent, Moku grinned and flung her arm towards her opponent, sending a barrage of throwing stars in his direction.

Her efforts amused Sin, she went through so much just to deflect one of his attacks and he could not help but smile. His hand reached to a pouch in his Chuunin vest, releasing four throwing stars from the pouch, dropping them in his hand. [Normally, I couldn't hit them head on... but I have many tricks up my sleeve.] Sin thought to himself as he hurled all four stars at the barrage heading towards him. His throw was sloppy, yet the stars were moving perfectly. With little error, his four throwing stars impacted all of hers, having them all fall to the ground. It was strange, but one could only figure it out if they paid close attention to the stars... they were being led on by chakra strings. Sin was a puppet user original after all.

"I think... I just thought up a new technique..." Sin said aloud with a smile on his face. There were a total of nine shuriken laying on the ground now not including the kunai he had thrown earlier that he still had one string attached to that he would use later for an attack. "Yes... most definitely..." Sin said as he pulled his hands together forming yet another familiar set of hand signs, if Moku did not know what was coming this time, then she was a fool. "She has to do so much just to stop one web... but let's see how she will fair against this kind of attack..." Sin said as he placed chakra strings on all seven of the projectiles on the ground in front of him. He tossed them into the air with the strings, releasing them.

Spider Bind... of Death.

Once again, the horrid sound of him spitting out a large web filled the air. The white web crashed into the seven shuriken all heading towards Moku at a high speed, if she were to get caught in this pointy web of death, she would surely not recover gracefully. Sin's smile widened as he bit onto his thumb causing it to bleed. Blood flowed from his right hand as he lifted his left arm sleeve up, running the blood up his arm activating a Genjutsu he had sealed onto his body. For Moku though, things will be feeling a lot 'bigger'.

Weight

The Genjutsu activated was none other than the Weight Genjutsu. Moku would begin to feel sluggish and when she looks at herself next, she will look to have gained 100 pounds. Her ability to move and dodge will be almost non-existent. Sin could not help but laugh now as even performing the Replacement Technique would almost be impossible for her with the amount of chakra she has spent. She has no choice but to either embrace it, somehow wear the Genjutsu off or destroy the pointy web of death. [This will be a glorious massacre!!] Sin thought to himself as his eyes widened from anticipation.

((Note- In here, Moku doesn't realize that it is the Weight Genjutsu because she never looks at herself, so she is blaming her extreme sudden weakness on her low chakra. If you can't tell where she starts feeling the effects of the genjutsu, tell me and I'll fix it ^^))

'He isn't going to dodge...?' Moku thought as her feet landed on the ground. She sat crouched down, her eyes fixed on her enemy, trying to anticipate what he would do next. She watched him reach into the pocket of his vest and pull out four stars of his own. 'Surely he's not going to try that!' As soon as the thought popped into Moku's head, the man had indeed hurled his four stars at her own. Not a second had passed before four simultaneous clinks echoed into Moku's ears causing her eyes to widen as she stood up. "No way." She mouthed as she watched her stars fall helplessly to the ground. What had she gotten herself into?

Upon standing up, she noticed that her body had started to give out on her; the numerous jutsu she had been using was starting to take a toll on her small body. Her fingers were feeling a bit numb, as were her legs, and her head was feeling as if it had been through a blender; everything seemed to be spinning. Moku shifted her stance a little, in order to give herself better balance. She then looked around the area to try and get a grasp on things. Her eyes darted from tree to tree, trying to find one that would sit still for her, just for a second so she could find her bearings. It was no use.

"I think...I just thought up a new technique..." She heard a voice say.

'Oh no...' Moku thought as she brought her hands up to her forehead, pressing her bangs out of the way. 'I don't know how much more my body can take, I don't have much chakra left, and he doesn't look a bit exhausted! This isn't good, I...'

"Yes...most definitely..."

Moku's hands tightly clenched the clumps of hair they had been pushing back. Her eyes shot to the man from which the voice emanated; his hands quickly completing the train of seals that Moku knew all too well. 'Again huh? I'll only cut it down.' Moku said with a hidden grin as she released her fingers from her bangs and brought them down to her leg strap, from which, she removed two more kunai. Her confidence in being able to fend off his attack masked the fact that her chakra was getting low. Moku immediately began to feel better, she didn't have to use any chakra on this attack, and she could save it for something better later.

With that thought, Moku stood readied to crouch down and slice the web to shreds as soon as he shot it out; but something was wrong. Moku's boldness began to fade as she watched all of the grounded weapons suddenly fly into the air, as if propelled by some force. Were Moku's eyes playing tricks on her? She started feeling dizzy once more, causing her violently shaking hands to drop her kunai and hold onto her head. She had never been this drained before; she had no clue how to handle it.

Shortly after the weapons shot into the air, a blood curdling belch filled the air as web once more shot towards Moku, picking up all the weapons on its way. 'What the...?! There's no way I can stop that now with all those weapons in it, I'll have to get out of here...I'd hate to use up the last of my chakra on a running away jutsu.' With that thought, Moku crouched down to in order to make an attempt to jump up out of the way of the web.

'I don't know how far out of the way this will get me due to my being so weak, but it's much better than being hit dead on.' Moku thought as she shot her self up into the air, or at least she thought she did. Not even a second later, her feet met the ground with a thud. 'Am I this weakened?!' Moku knew her chakra was low, but she had no clue it was this bad. Moku began to shake furiously inside her skin; however, she showed no sign of it on the outside, she couldn't let this man see her fear. She was terrified, it had never been this bad before. She tried to run, but her feet would not budge; she tried jump once more, but to no avail. She watched in horror from behind her bangs as the web neared her body; she had no where to go, nothing to use, trapped.

Sound Pulse

Of course, there was still one jutsu that Moku hadn't tried on this web, and it didn't require much movement either. Moku fought with her muscles, her fear, and gravity itself to bring her hands, which seemed like anvils, up from her sides to her chest. She then intertwined each finger into the seal of the Snake, which seemed harder than normal to do, yet she blamed it on her low chakra, followed by the rat. Moku proceeded on to focusing her chakra onto her fingertips, but had major doubts about this even coming close to working.

'Why am I trying this? Sound wave blast didn't work against this, and it's a much stronger jutsu! Oh well...it's better than nothing, and the web should be a bit slower and weaker because of the weapons...I hope.'

Moku shook off her fear and focused on her fingertips. 'Besides, I only have one goal right now...Avenge Shinkan's death! And you're NOT GETTING IN MY WAY! FOR SHINKAN!' She yelled mentally as she clamped her eyes shut at the sight of the web that was seconds in front of her. Moku thrust her fingers into the web, her fingertips meeting with the points of the weapons. Blood trickled down her fingers as they sent out a powerful pulse of sound which was amplified by the weapons which had begun to vibrate violently. The vibrations and the pulse were just enough to cause the web to halt, dead in its tracks, and shatter, spraying bits of web and blood everywhere.

The weapons that were planted in the web fell to the ground all at once, followed by Moku's weak, heavy feeling body. She landed on her hands and knees, her head hanging between her shoulders. Sweat beads formed on her forehead before trickling down her face on strands of hair that were plastered to her face. Her fingers covered in crimson blood, the same blood that had disguised itself as dew upon the blades of grass in front of her. How much more could she take? Why was she so weak? She couldn't understand...

"What a cute girl.... too bad she's fat.... hehehahahaha!" Sin laughed to himself making a joke of the entire matter. This man was not stable at all, he had several problems but was not taking the matter seriously. The matter is of course, murder. Sin has every intention of killing the poor girl. "Ah... the idea of destroying an entire existence has always brought delight to me. The power of holding ones life and memories in your hands, only to drop it as if it were nothing is a feeling so few get to truly embrace." He said once more, walking closer to her, slowly. He ran many ideas of how to attack her through his head.

He could use the chakra strings to lift all of the throwing stars in front of her into the air and demolish her or even use the web technique again. No, maybe... no he has used up too much chakra for that. [Poison Fang... it sounds nice. She is not able to move right now anyway.] Sin thought to himself [No... I have a better idea. I will play a game with her...] Sin thought to himself with an evil grin growing wide onto his face.

"I bore of you girl... the weight you bare is disgusting. You make me want to vomit you trash!" Sin shouted at the girl as he stopped in his tracks. "I will no longer play games with you. Now, fear my ultimate Ninjutsu. It will end it all for you..." Sin said aloud, preparing her for something... false. Sin pulled his hands to his chest, performing the Snake, Rat, Dog and Rooster seals. He held no Jutsu that actually used those seals, but Moku knew that not.

Mind Games..

Sin charged for the girl focusing Chakra onto his right hand, making it visible. He then laced strings on all of the kunai in front of her, using his puppet skills to make them spin around her in a large circle that both she and Sin were in. Sin's wicked smile grew wider and wider as he got closer, trying his hardest not to burst out laughing from the sheer idea of this prank. It was when Sin got within five feet of her that he stopped, using his right foot to kick up dirt... towards Moku's face.

"Now.... time to give you a make-over!" Sin said as he used his puppet skills on the projectiles to hurl themselves towards Moku's.... hair. He was hoping to have the throwing stars chop off a lock of her long hair. [Girls... they focus far too much on their looks. If they spent half the time they did on themselves as they did on training. This very situation would not be happening... let's make her realize this before she died. That all her time spent on appearance was pointless!] Sin thought to himself as his eyes widened waiting for the throwing stars to connect. Hit or miss, Sin bursted out laughing when he released the throwing stars. He was not but six feet from Moku doing this too, his guard was completely down.

Crimson puddles had begun to form around each of Moku's bruised fingers as they gripped the dirt underneath them. Moku was on hands and knees, suffering from extreme exhaustion, yet she had no clue why. Her head was slumped between her shoulders, her eyes were clamped shut, and she was gasping for breath. Never had she been this worn out, even after extensive training sessions with her sensei. Sure she had passed out before, but she had never been so weak that she was not able to function.

'Why?' She thought as she clenched her fists. 'Why can't I move?! I'm NOT supposed to die yet! I haven't gotten ANY part of my goal accomplished since I left!' She wanted to pound her fists on the ground in anger, but her arms wouldn't budge.

"What a cute girl...too bad she's fat...hehehahahaha!"

Moku heard maniacal laughter coming from the being who had started towards her. Moku's eyes shot open and began to scan her body; she was indeed chubbier than she recalled herself being before she left her village. 'When was the last time I looked at myself?' She tried to remember, but her memory failed; there were more important things for her to be worrying about at the current time.

'I bore of you girl......I will no longer play games with you. Now, fear my ultimate Ninjutsu. It will end all for you..."

Moku watched in sheer terror as the man's hands flew through more seals. This time, it wasn't the normal combination of Snake and Rat, which previously would have sent web hurtling in her direction. This time it was a train of not two, but four seals; four seals that were unfamiliar to Moku, leading her to believe that this was in fact something truly horrible. Her eyes began to beat about, searching for the dreadful jutsu that threatened to end her very existence on the Hiendo River. Her eyes caught a glimpse of chakra gathering in the right hand of this man as he had begun to charge toward her.

Moku made one last attempt to move from her spot, but this weight wouldn't budge. She kneeled there like a bump on a log, waiting for this mad man to claim her life. She closed her eyes, relying once more on the sound of the Hiendo to calm her nerves.

'This can't be right. This isn't how it's supposed to go.' Moku thought as she remembered the last time she had been near this spot. Her memory flashed back to this very spot, two years ago, where she and Shinkan had been practicing her Sound Pulse Jutsu. He had allowed her to practice it on him, since she wasn't very good at it at all. Moku was very new at controlling her chakra and could barely move Shinkan an inch with her jutsu. They'd been there all day, practicing by the river; Moku was beginning to get tired, and Shinkan had begun poking fun at her lack of progress, thinking he was being adorable. Naturally, her new frustration had increased her chakra flow, and after making one last attempt at the hand seals, she thrust her fingers into Shinkan's chest. The unsuspecting Shinkan flew back about fifteen feet before landing in the river.

Tears formed in Moku's eyes as Moku's memory played flashback after flashback, every moment leading up to that dreadful wedding day. Moku could feel her strength regaining itself, as she knew what was to happen to her Shinkan. Her memory replayed the sound of a weapon slicing through the air as it struck her fiance, only seconds after he had embraced her.

Schiing.

A strong surge of chakra rush through her body, forcing her eyes to open as if she had just woken up from a nightmare. They regained focus, only to find locks of black and red hair, her own hair, falling to the ground. To the left of her, she heard the clinking of a throwing star landing on the ground. Immediately, her eyes shot up to that man, who was now no more than six feet in front of her.

'I'm still...alive...? Did he miss?'

(Small post, sorry. Been stressed out)

Darkness fell from the side of the young girl as a wicked smile of sinister depths formed on the pale white face of a devil. An impish giggle escaped his lips as his hand rose to the air, pointing at the girls shame baring his teeth to her as his smile grew wider and wider. He could not help but laugh, for his childish prank had gone through flawlessly. A once limp right hand slapped at sis thigh, around the same time he tilted his head back projecting his manacle laughter into the air so everyone could hear the rewards of the deed he had done.

"The look on your face... was priceless." The tall man of darkness said, recovering from his fit of laughter. His body was gaining normal stature as he watched her, she seemed a little more lively. [She is going to get angry... and desperate soon.] The corrupt man thought to himself as he took a single step forward pulling out a kunai from his vest. "It is time to end this... I am now done with you. No more pranks, no more jokes... your life is now mine to take." He muttered, having a fit of dialog fill the air like the morning cry of a rooster.

He clenched the kunai knife tightly, raising his right arm into the air in a stabbing motion. He wanted to get a good, clean stab at her... severing nerves and bones all in one go. Although his tool of choice was not a medical tool, he knew the body well. He could destroy the body with hardly a moments notice and easily depict the weakness of his foe based on previous wounds. Yet, despite his medical knowledge, he prefers to play with their head. Psychological tactics.

"Now... you die.." He muttered as he swung downward with the kunai knife, stalling only for a moment to let her savor the last moment of her life. She had one chance to escape, one moment to hide. A chance that Sin had not even calculated, he did not expect her to focus her chakra and gain some back in just mere moments. It was his error though, one that could cause him the loss of the battle if she can act correctly. Despite the skill of one ninja, it only takes a single blow to end a life.

(((Fixed.)))

Moku kept her eyes on this dark man who had begun to laugh at her once more, his finger pointed in her direction. His laughter increased as he began to slap his leg as if some hilarious joke had just been cracked. His laughing spell roused an eyebrow upon Moku's face as she tried to comprehend what was wrong with this corrupt creature. His frenzy subsided and he returned his attention to the girl.

"The look on your face...was priceless." This man's words sent a chilled pulse down this girl's spine, causing her pupils contract as she knelt on the ground in front of him. She stared at him with eyes filled with realization and anger. 'What a sick man! All that just to see me terrified of him?!' Moku thought as she watched him reach into the pocket of his vest. From this pocket, he retrieved a single kunai, which he grasped in his right hand as if he were ready to stab the life out of anyone who was in his reach...Moku was in his reach.

"It is time to end this...I am now done with you. No more pranks, no more jokes...your like is now mine to take." He said as he charged towards the seemingly helpless Moku, who noticed his eyes scanning her body and locking onto a target. It was only moments before he was hovering over her, kunai held high in the sky, ready to strike. "Now...you die..."

His piercing words echoed through her ears, causing her body to become immobile with fear. She wanted to turn her head and look for a way out, but she had become paralyzed all over. It wasn't a second after the words left his mouth that the kunai had begun to dive down toward her head, cleaving the air that separated it from her flesh. Moku had to think fast. She couldn't move a single muscle; she was forced to rely on either her instincts or her peripheral vision. Unfortunately for Moku, fear had also immobilized her instincts, leaving her with peripheral vision as the only option. 'This isn't good! I...I can't see as well with my bangs in the way...That's it!!'

Replacement Jutsu

Moku's eyes shot down to the clumps of dark hair lying on the ground as she remembered her involuntary haircut. Her focus left the kunai and turned toward the hair severing star, which was lying by the river bank about 20 feet away. She noticed that next to that star was a rather large hunk of dead tree, the remains of the tree she had used earlier for her Sound Wave Blast. The newly formulated plan nulled her fear and created inside her the will to move her body. By focusing her chakra on her body as well as the log, she was able replace herself with the wood, just as the kunai struck the spot where her body should have been.

Moku collapsed into a heap upon the river bank, feeling what she thought was lack of chakra once more. Her chest heaving, gasping for air as she knelt at the edge of the water. Sweat dripped from the tip of her nose into the cool liquid, sending a pleasant sound into her eardrums. Remembering that it was her locks of hair that helped bring her to safety, she decided to take a look at the damage. Moku opened her heavy eyelids only to see something very unpleasant gazing back at her in the reflection. Her eyes widened in shock as she saw something that could not be her, it wasn't her...was it?

Gazing back at her was a woman who held the same skin and hair color, but definitely not the same features. This woman had extremely chubby cheeks, puffy eyes, a plump nose, abnormally large lips, and to top it off, a double chin. Moku couldn't believe her eyes, and she definitely could not believe this water. She raised her right hand to eye level and began to hyperventilate at what she saw. Her hand matched the fatness of her reflection in the river; in fact, her hand looked like a surgical glove that had been inflated like a balloon.

'No...no...!!NO!!' She thought as similar thoughts raced through her head. 'There's no way I can be fat! How will I be able to avenge Shinkan if I can't move with all this weight?!' A deep gasp escaped her lips as another thought rushed into her mind. 'If...if I DO manage to bring Shinkan back...What will he say?! He wouldn't want to come back to this!! I'm...I'm...fat!!!...Shinkan...won't want me...' She sobbed in between thought words, followed by a stream of tears. The tears dripped into the water, creating a calming rhythm, just as it had before this all started. The rhythmic dripping triggered a similar situation that had happened not too long ago. In this situation, a sad Moku stared into the water, yet her face was not fat, it was thin and beautiful, just as it should be now. 'That's right! I'm not fat...but my eyes are showing me...'
---------
"Genjutsu." Echoed Shinkan's voice in her memory. "It's illusion jutsu that tricks the mind into believing something that isn't real. We don't have much time today to practice Dispel, so just remember, when you realize, if you do realize, that you are caught in a genjutsu, pain will break it. And don't worry, tomorrow after we are wed, we can start practicing dispel..."
---------
'Genjutsu huh?' Moku thought to herself as she looked in the direction of her enemy, who had just finished his thrust. 'So, he's a man of pranks, right? I can play that game as well.' Moku slowly reached into her right pouch, trying not to let that man notice what she was planning. From her pouch, she removed four kunai, two for each hand, and nestled them down into the thick grass where her hands were positioned. She then took one into her hand and proceeded to bring it up to her right arm; she hesitated. The thought of inflicting pain upon herself scared her, causing her to almost drop the weapon. She quickly shook her head and regained her grip upon the handle. 'I need to do this, it's the only way!' She thought as she clamped her eyes shut and dug the kunai into the upper part of her arm and drug it down, slicing through her flesh. She winced at the pain, but the sudden lightness of her body caused the pain to quickly turn to joy.

Stab to the inner thigh with kunai
Sound Pulse (to push it through the bone)
Kick to the chin combo!

Moku quickly returned her hand to the ground and grasped all four kunai, which were hidden in the grass. A surge of pain shot through her fingers and up towards her arms as she struggled to grasp the weapons firmly. The pain from her previous encounter with the web had not subsided, but this was no time to be a baby. She lowered her head and began to breathe heavily as if nothing had changed. Secretly, Moku had begun to focus her strength and chakra on both her kunai and fingertips. She knew that this man with his sick intentions would walk over to her in her seemingly weakened state to attempt another foul prank. When he did, she'd show him how a real prank was pulled! She just hoped he had dropped his guard, thinking she was still slow under the influence of his genjutsu...

Yes... she is mine...

Wicked thoughts echoed throughout his mind only for the cold, yet wooden, realization to be thrown out before him. Wood, shards of wood flew in several directions as his small kunai pierced the wood of the dead tree, ramming itself deep into its bark. The echoes halted, Sin stood bearing his teeth in annoyance as he tossed the kunai filled log to the side. His eyes slowly shifted to the river bank, where the target from before now stood ready for the second coming. She wanted Sin, she wants to Sin... Sin is coming for her. Were some of the thoughts brewing within the mind of the sinister being just yards away from her.

"Embrace me oh young girl... the time has come to end your life." Sin muttered, he was beginning to become unstable, it was very like him to lose his train of thought and splurt out random nonsense before he strikes. "The time of darkness... no. Sin. The time of Sin is upon you, I will show you just what it is you fear!" He shouted once more, again making hardly any sense in the matter.

It was until his hands came to his chest, forming the seal of the tiger to summon stamina into Chakra and two very familiar hand seals. His hands formed the seal of the snake as a wicked grin grew onto his face.

Elsewhere...

Brushes bursted into stems, leaves falling gracefully behind as a distant noise closed in on the area that the two oh so gallant ninja. Every step was filled with hate and detest, seven steps every moment... fourteen every two moments. A total of fourteen feet, eyes, hands and ears all heading to one spot. They each wore identical clothing, a mask on every face bearing the sign of the Mirage village. They were indeed ninja pursuing one man. A man of darkness who wore their headband with a single slash through it.

Sinner...

The final seal formed, the oh so familiar seal of the dog. White ooze began to pour out from his mouth as he smiled wide. Small webs began to drip off of the sides of his mouth as he inhaled deeply through his nose, ready to launch his web of death towards Moku one last time.

A splurt sound filled the air as Sin exhaled, launching the large white web towards Moku, a move she has dealt with far too many times already. It caught great distance, closing in quickly on her in her weakened state. Sin could only smile from afar letting out a small shriek of laughter.

'He's muttering all kinds of nonsense...' Moku thought as she knelt along the riverbed waiting, wearing the appearance of an overweight woman. Her head still hung between her shoulders, and her fingers still in the grass hiding her kunai. Her mind was concentrating, concentrating hard on putting as much chakra into her assortment of moves as she could. She would get this man, even if it didn't do much damage. She wanted badly to inflict some sort of pain upon him, to rid her of her annoyance toward him. She listened for his footsteps, but none were heard. 'Hmm...He is a better shinobi than I've been giving him credit for...But I'm smarter.' Moku thought as she switched her attention to he sound of his voice instead. 'Judging by the loudness of his voice, he's still approaching. He should be close enough in about 7 seconds...Excellent!'

Waiting in anticipation, Moku gripped the cool metal handles of her kunai while she finished gathering her chakra. She counted silently in her head, for Sin was no longer talking; thus forcing Moku to rely on calculations alone. '5.....6......7...................Hmm? I don't feel him around me anywhere! Where is he?!' She waited a bit longer, fearing that her calculations had gone wrong somewhere. Her anxious eyes wanted to peer over and find out where he had gotten to, but she couldn't allow them to; she didn't want to ruin such a glorious plan. 'Where is h...No!'

Once again, a loud belch filled the air, sending a slew of white goo towards Moku once again. Her head quickly turned towards the sound, eyes fixed on the web. 'I was so sure....he would!' She was not ready for this, she hadn't anticipated things would go this way. 'IT'S NOT SUPPOSED TO WORK LIKE THIS!' Moku shouted violently in her head. With her plan crushed, she no longer had to reason to continue with her clever ruse; she had to get into an offensive position and think of way out of this mess.

She quickly forced her weight onto her arms, causing her lower half to flip over into the air. With her body now perpendicular to the ground, her hands playing the role of her feet, she was able to commence with the rest of her flip. With a quick bend of her elbows, she thrust herself into the air, then gracefully landed her feet on the ground. With kunai firmly in her hands, she crouched to the ground, knees bent and feet positioned two feet from each other. Now standing in a defensive pose, she was able to begin thinking of what she would do next. 'I'm holding kunai, I could slash it again!'

With that, she nodded her head and crossed her arms down above her legs, her kunai ready to slash this monstrosity, just as she had done before. She looked up just in time to see that it was too late; the web was less than five inches in front of her. Before she could think about thinking 'Oh no,' a high pitched shriek escaped her lips as her body was thrown backwards with the force of a cannon ball. Moku had been hit by the very thing she had been avoiding this whole time.

Moku flew through the air, her skin covered in the sticky goo that had already begun to harden into thin, sticky strands of web. She tried screaming again, but the force of this man's spider bind had knocked the wind out of her. Her bound body had begun to fall, Moku's ears sensing the sounds of the rapids below. 'The Hiendo!' She thought right before her body took a plunge into the river. Her mind and body began to panic as she tried frantically to free herself of the web. Moku flailed about, her head bobbing in and out of the water. 'I can't swim bound up like this!!! I'll drown!' She thought as her body descended deeper into the river. The air in her lungs had begun to get stale; she needed another breath. Looking up, Moku could see that she was now about six feet underwater. She frantically tried moving once again, but to no avail. Her heart began to pound, her lungs ached, she needed air...but at this rate, Moku would drown.

After a few seconds, Moku's body seemed to stop responding to her commands. She wanted to hold her breath for as long as she could, hoping she would float back up to the top and get another gasp of air. Her mind had been in control so far, but her body needed oxygen. Without command or warning, her lungs began to expand, causing her nostrils and mouth to open. Her body expected air, but instead received water. It rushed into her empty lungs, causing her to gag and choke. She was going to die...

'No...Shinkan...' She thought as her eyes closed. She lay peacefully, wrapped in a spider's cocoon; her body passively floating underwater. 'I can't die yet...'

"There he is!"

A voice cried from the distance, breaking the distance as a kunai landed just a foot in front of Sin. Four ninja dressed in sand colored camouflage leapt through the air in sequence towards Sin. A horrid expression built upon Sin's face slowly as he leapt backwards a good six meters from the hurled kunai.

"Damnit... I remained in one place too long. I also spent far too much Chakra playing with that trash.." Sin muttered to himself as he eyed the bubbles popping up from the water to the side of him. A smirk grew on his face as he pointed towards the bubbles of what Sin thought was a girl gasping for air in a place that had none. One of the four ninja nodded to the others as two of them dashed off towards the water. The other two began to walk closer to Sin.

"Sir, there's a person here... should we help them?" One of the Ninja shouted, standing on the water peering down into the depths of the Hiendo.

"Take her, we will ask her questions about Sin after we take his head..." The obvious leader said. He was the one approaching Sin with the other Ninja. The two at the Hiendo nodded as they reached down, pulling the web-coated Moku out of the water. They could tell that if they waited any longer that they would have been too late. "You really are a sick bastard, you know that Sin?" The leader of the four said. All four of them wore black masts that covered their face and hair with a white raccoon mask over their face.

Sin only smiled in response, closing his eyes. His head shook back and forth as the two Ninja with Moku set her to the side of the river, cutting the web off with their kunai. It was then that Sin began to chuckle, halting the very movements of the two stepping forward.

"You think you'd win that easily...? You need to examine your surroundings more..." Sin said as he raised his right hand into the air. Kunai from afar flew in the air from the ground. It was the weapons used by both earlier in a battle of wits.

"A trap!" The leader shouted, watching the kunai closely only to see them fall to the ground. Their guard was down, Sin had another technique in mind. His hands pulled together at his chest as he made the Tiger, Ram Ox and Bird seals. White and yellow feathers began to fall from the sky as Sin chuckled from the distance. His chuckle seemed to sound further and further away by the passing second. He was running, fleeing from the scene as the four Ninja fell to their knees sleeping. His diversion worked and he was able to escape.

"You're lucky I am far too drained to kill you all... that and who knows if you have back-up or not. I wont risk being found again." Sin said to himself as he dashed off away from Terra, the direction the Sand Ninja came at him from. They are fully aware that Sin mainly resides within Terra. He did not want to be predictable and decided to flee elsewhere for now.

(Feel free to rp the four ninja getting up, asking Moku questions and leaving. )

Moku lie in darkness, her body sinking further and further into the Hiendo River; the river that begged to become her grave. Cold water passed over her skin where the web had not covered. Mere moments before, Moku was fighting to be released from this trap, but now, she no longer felt the need to be free, nor did she feel afraid. The water had done it's damage to Moku; her lungs now full of the chilled liquid. It would be only minutes before this shinobi was no more.

The sound of a man's voice in the distance rang in Moku's ears. As the seconds passed, it seemed to grow louder and louder, suggesting that it was nearing Moku's position. She tried to figure out who it was, but her mind had become too feeble to comprehend whom it belonged to. Instead, her thoughts turned over to Shinkan. Her frail mind had become convinced that the voice belonged to her beloved. 'Shin...kan.' Moku's lips motioned slowly as her eyelids opened. Her eyes now had a glazed look to them as they stared lifelessly into the sky above. On the other side of the water's veil, the moon hung in the sky; its light acting almost like a trail that would guide her home.

Suddenly, a shadow appeared in the silvery moonlight, followed by a pair of hands which broke the surface of the water and began to reach for her. 'Shin...kan.' Her lips repeated, almost as if she were calling for him, letting him know where she was. The silhouette of the man had started to take the shape and appearance of Shinkan, and once again, her lips repeated the motion of his name. The hands blindly searched around until their fingers brushed against the skin of Moku's right arm. As soon as contact was made, the hands seized her arm and began to pull. Grunts escaped the men who having a hard time retrieving her body from the river. She only weighed 111 lbs, but with the added water in her lungs and the web wrapped around her body, her weight had nearly doubled.

After much jerking and pulling, Moku's body reached the surface, and was scooped up by one of the men. As he cradled her in his arms, Moku's empty eyes gazed at him, her mind giving the illusion he was Shinkan. Moku could feel her body shutting down and with her last bit of energy, she was able to mouth his name once again. As she did, her eyes began to slowly close. The medical ninja gently lay her on the ground, motioning for the other shinobi to commence the removal of the web.

"Quickly! We need to save her! We can't let another one of Sin's victims die!" Said the shinobi as he continued to cut the web from the girl's cold skin. The medical ninja quickly nodded and began to preform chest compressions by forcing his chakra against Moku's lungs. Within a few moments, water began to trickle out of her lips, followed by a rushing gush of water. At that point, the medical ninja pressed his lips against hers and began to force new air into her lungs. After a few repetitions of this sequence, Moku's body began to function on its own. Her body shot up into sitting position while coughing the remaining water out of her lungs. Once the gagging subsided, her chest began heaving for air.

Moku, who was extremely exhausted, had not completely recovered since she had been revived. After obtaining a sufficient amount of oxygen, she collapsed to the ground once more, giving her body a much needed nap. Minutes after her collapse, the men collapsed as well. All four of the shinobi men had fallen victim to Sin's genjutsu trap, allowing Sin ample time to escape.

--------------------------------

Many hours had passed, and the five ninjas remained asleep upon the dew laden grass. The sun now peaked over the trees, shining it's bright rays onto Moku's tanned skin. Her heavy eyelids slowly opened to reveal that it was now morning. Following habit, Moku tried to sit up and stretch, but her aching body would not allow it. Instead, she remained on the ground, her eyes fixed on the clouds hanging high overhead. One of which seemed to take the form of a heart, this sight caused a warm feeling to wash over Moku's body. "Shinkan" she whispered silently as she always did when something reminded her of him. Suddenly, her body shot up into sitting position and she frantically began looking around. She knew she had seen him, he saved her, in her mind of course.

Despite the massive amounts of pain rushing through her body, Moku stood up and began to search for her hallucinated love. She nearly tripped over the sleeping ninja at her feet as she wandered towards the east, the direction she had been traveling in before she was caught up in this mess. Her eyes caught a glimpse of a tree-lined pathway ahead of her, which held footprints made of newly crimped grass. 'He must have gone down there!!' She thought happily as she took off down the path. After running two miles as fast as her injured legs could carry her, Moku's body began to give out. There was no sign of Shinkan anywhere, and she could feel the pain returning as her adrenaline faded. A sigh escaped her lips as she realized she must have been dreaming back then; Shinkan was never at the river at all. 'He's dead...silly girl.' She thought as she shook her head.

As she snapped back into reality, a smile appeared on her face as she became aware of her mobility. 'I can move again!' She thought as remembered thrashing around under the water of the Hiendo, trapped in that man's web. Her anxiety returned, along with the memory of the event. Her heart began to pound in her chest which caused a surge of pain to rush into her aching lungs. Her right arm reached up, and as she did pain shot there as well. As her hand grasped her chest, pain rushed into her fingertips where they had been pierced earlier by the shuriken. Pain had also begun to emerge in her stomach, where she had received the blow from the web. To top it off, all the muscles in her body had begun to ache from having to move that weight from that genjutsu before.

The overwhelming pain from every section of her form caused her to collapse once more. She stumbled and fell over against a tree, sliding down until her bottom rested upon the ground. Blood began to trickle from the scratches and cuts formed by the tree's rough bark. Moku's body needed rest, and here was where she would get it; the sounds around her easing her pain, as it always did nowadays.
