Dawn, the crack of dawn, everyone else except the most dedicated Shinobi are up at this time. Takeda being one of them, as a matter of fact Takeda was already up, dressed and at the training field that had belonged to his past sensei. Now Takeda was the one teaching techniques to a new era of Shinobi, something he was proud of. Takeda stood calmly in front of a tall wooden pole, it was a good two feet wide and was twice as tall as Takeda. Takeda estimated the thing would weigh in at about four hundred pounds, it could kill him if it ever fell on him. Like that would happen, Takeda was way too fast for that. Today was just an ordinary day of over the top intense training. Today he would do two hundred kicks to the Wooden pole. Two hundred push ups and a bit more if he got bored. Takeda started his training by clearing his mind and entering a meditative state. He calmed himself and focused on clearing out his negative thoughts. Although he was a goof ball most of the time, combat was serious business and he needed to take it seriously. Takeda breathed deeply for a few minutes before finally opening his eyes, his body was relaxed and ready to take some serious punishment. He got to his feet slowly. Sliding back into a fighting stance he readied his legs. He would alternate left and right leg every twenty or so kicks. Keeping an even rate of kicking done. He would then practice focusing a bit of chakra into his kicks so that he would get some stamina training as well. He needed it definitely. Takeda decided that every twentieth kick he would press some chakra into the blow attempting to wear himself out so that the push-ups later would be more beneficial. Takeda began as soon as he had finished planning out his morning. One. Takeda's shin impacted at full force with the pole, it didn't budge. |

Two, Takeda hit again, still quite relaxed he began to think about the benefits of his training in order to take his mind partially off what he was doing. In that way he could keep from tiring out too fast. Takeda thought about his friends and family whom he could protect. His village and his 'Kage, who he had promised his service too. He was a true shinobi after all, one who had a Nindo, a ninja way. His ninja way was to never go back on his word. Someone had told him that a famous Ninja had at one time the same Nindo, all the better to keep it Takeda would reply. Twelve. Takeda brought himself back into focus. He kicked again, this time tensing up for his chakra kick. Thirteen. Almost there, he was beginning to build up chakra, he let himself distract himself as he conjured up enough chakra for the kick. Eighteen. Get ready Takeda.... he told himself. He hit the ninteenth time and then reared back, and swung his chakra kick. The kick impacted with just enough force to dent the solid piece of wood. A few pieces of wood chipped away under it. Takeda jumped back and readied his left leg. (1 Chakra) One! Takeda began kicking. This time he felt a twinge of sweat break as he began his next leg. This continued on for another few minutes until he had built up enough chakra to kick the wood with his left leg. Again with a satisfying crack the huge pole broke up a bit under the chakra infused kick. Takeda shifted to his right leg, and his training continued. Each twentieth kick he would release an amount of chakra until eventually he reached his sixtieth kick. (5 Chakra) By that time, Takeda was beginning to feel a bit winded. |

Takeda continued kicking, soon he was at eighty kicks. Shifting to his opposite leg he resumed kicking getting ready to break one hundred. Takeda once in a while distracted himself to keep from tiring out. Takeda would think about his friends, his family his goals his dreams. Everything important to him he thought about. His determination to train his body to the best of its ability was sometimes staggering. Takeda looked at the pole. By the time he had broken one hundred kicks it was beginning to show some signs of wear and tear. Takeda reared back for his hundredth kick when he heard a sound behind him. He calmly continued, although he could sense someone watching him, and not with good intent. Takeda frowned and while he kicked made a hand seals of the fire clone technique. The Dragon and the Ram. He focused his fire chakra and directed it to behind the pole, attempting to hide himself from view as the clone continued to train. Takeda then waited for a moment before moving out. Whomever it was did not attack the clone immediately, they were either really smart or really dumb. It didn't matter either way. Takeda had to make sure whomever it was didn't stand as a threat to the village that he was sworn to protect. Takeda, using his light step rushed to the buidings nearby, he leaped from building to building his mind intent on the chakra signature that was the offender. Takeda stopped and hid behind a building before looking around. This time he noticed it, it was a figure in a black cloak, much like a black ops. Takeda wondered if he was just being monitored by the black ops. However, this one wasn't wearing a face mask. Weird... Takeda thought, he got to his feet and pointed at the guy. Who jumped with a start as he was still staring intently at his clone. “Oy! What're ya doin? Staring at me Like that!” |

Takeda screwed up his face, awaiting a direct answer from the offender. Instead, the man got to his feet, a bit jarred by the surprise and pulled out a kunai, Takeda squinted his eyes. No, two kunai knives, Takeda took a step back and brough his arms up in a defensive stance. The man laughed at Takeda, Takeda nodded to himself. The guy was definitely the stupid type, he had no Idea what style Takeda used otherwise he would deem this pose as a threat. Takeda was a user of Swift Kick boxing, he called it Savate'. It was a style that used the arms as a defense while the legs were used as an offense and defense. Takeda raised his right leg to prepare an attack. The man raised his kunai to face level, then swung his hand down. One kunai flew directly at Takeda, the other at Takeda's clone. At this point Takeda's clone had stopped and was rushing at the foe. Takeda was disappointed to note that the impact between kunai and clone didn't happen close enough to the foe, the foe jumped a bit however when the clone exploded into a burst of devilish flames. Takeda took this instant of suprise as a chance to attack. Whomever this was he didn't have the skills of a good Chuunin and that gave Takeda the advantage. Takeda jumped forward and raised his back leg into a flying round house kick. Just as the impact landed he noticed something about the guy, he didn't budge at all when Takeda's shin made contact. Even with all the force Takeda put behind it it seemed like he was hitting solid rock. He was tougher than that wooden pole. Takeda did three backflips before landing twenty feet away, a good distance. Takeda brushed himself off and looked up at the guy, a bit more serious an expression. The guy's face was still concealed in shadow. Takeda would fix that though. |

Moments passed as the two stared each other down. Takeda liked the dramatic air of the whole situation but this guy was a threat to the village that needed to be terminated. Takeda made a few hand seals, he was quick about it because his foe had finally started to move in his direction. Takeda made the seals of Dragon, then Tiger, then Snake. He made them with blinding speed, then called out the command of the Jutsu. He focused his fire chakra around his body and ignited it. ”Body Inferno Technique!” Takeda then raised his arms to his face and blocked the man's kick. The man had been running so fast that Takeda barely noticed until it was almost too late. However, Takeda had skills of his own and used them quite efficiently. So as the fire chakra ignited his body was immediately engulfed in a light red flame that burned brightly in the pre-morning light. Takeda then felt a bit of his chakra go away. (5 Chakra, total 11 used) Takeda pushed away from the man's kick and flipped again, this time whilst in mid-air he spun for another round house kick. The attack had little effect. Takeda grunted as the man grabbed his leg and threw him against a nearby wall. Takeda cursed a bit when he landed. He felt a trickle of blood go down the back of his head, he got to his feet. Glaring up at the man he caught a glimpse of what looked like bandages covering his face. Something weird was going on. Takeda jumped back on top of the building they were fighting on, raising his leg in another fighting stance. |

Takeda did not lash out this time, but prepared for another direct attack from the man. He had tested his foe's defenses, found them adequate and realized that he would have to figure out a way to disable them. Takeda watched him carefully, every movement was noted unit he noticed that the man's arms were not inside his sleeves anymore. He could still make out the man's bandaged face, but his hands were... missing. Takeda realized immediately that the man was performing jutsu within his cloak. He needed to put a stop to it. Just as Takeda was getting ready to jump the man's body turned black, it wasn't black in the normal sense of the word though, it seemed to deteriorate, like he had lost his physical form. Takeda squinted and concentrated on the chakra flow of his opponent. It wasn't genjutsu it was something else. Takeda kept thinking about different ninjutsu he had seen that had the same effect. None came to mind, the man was simply turning into a black mist! Takeda grumbled, knowing that if he couldn't hit the guy then he definitely couldn't do any damage to mist. Takeda slowly began to formulate a plan. He thought that since the man was made of mist he could evaporate the guy. However, he would have to be careful. Takeda looked up at the sky. The sun was rising and light was slowly beginning to pour into the village. Just as he looked away he heard the hissing sound of the mist flowing at him. Takeda jumped back in time to see the man solidify, swing his fist at him and turn into mist again. Takeda frowned again. ”That's not good.” Takeda already felt a bit weak from chakra and blood loss, he needed a way to fight this guy! |

Takeda continued to dodge the man, ever so often changing position. There came a time when the light finally fell onto the building. Takeda noticed that the man would not enter the light. He screwed up his face, annoyed. What was this guy? Some kind of vampire or something? Takeda grumbled loudly thinking about his situation. He had started the fight in the dark, he couldn't hurt the guy. The guy seemed to be avoiding the shadows especially in his mist form. What's up with that? Takeda thought, maybe in the dark the guy is tougher than in the light? No way! That's not normal! Then again, what part of this fight is normal? Takeda pressed his question for a moment while standing in the light as the man floated in circles around him. Takeda realized what he had to do. The guy had jumped a bit when the Clone exploded into bright flames. Takeda also was hardly being hit because he still had his enveloping fire around his body. Only the most solid hits actually hurt, and there had only been one, and that one really hurt. Takeda decided to give it a shot. He looked at a small barrel in the opposite corner of the building's roof. Then up at the guy. The guy laughed a bit probably thinking about what Takeda was planning. This guy didn't know Takeda very well did he? Takeda made a few hand seals, Dragon, then Tiger, then Dragon again. The man squinted at him, slightly nervous. Takeda reared back his head just as the man realized what was going on. He called out the jutsu's command as his body quaked and he released a huge amount of flame from his mouth. He felt the fire flow down toward the barrel, the man had dodged the flame but the barrel had caught fire. Takeda didn't care what was in the barrel but now the guy was trapped between two founts of light. The sun was almost high enough to fill the area. The man looked at Takeda then back at the sun. |

The man finally made a sound. He roared with rage his voice echoing through the silent village. Takeda saw the man solidify and land on the ground, still in his cloak. Takeda jumped forward, the light now shining directly on the man and pulled back his leg one more time. The man gasped as the leg finally made contact with his side and he was sent flying backwards, into a wall. Takeda landed on his feet looking at the man. The man looked up at him and began to make hand seals. Takeda rushed forward. ”You're not getting away!” Takeda stopped as the man vanished into a puff of black smoke. Takeda frowned again, plopped himself down on his butt and groaned, rubbing the back of his head. He'd have to get checked out at the infirmary in a bit. Takeda looked around, the barrel was still on fire. He'd have to report that. The guy escaped, he'd have to report that as well. Takeda yawned and stretched his arms. That guy was tough! What the heck was he? Takeda thought. He looked around, making notes of all the collateral damage. ”Paperwork, paperwork, paperwork... and I never got to do my pushups!” Takeda groaned, got up and headed out. |
