Rhinocat had been venturing in the area outside of Valley for days now. It was quite intresting the life outside of Valley, and one day it shall be his home. Rhinocat looked over this snowy and iced over plain of land. He felt the cold blood in him rage... was this his real home maybe. He knew that he excelled in the abiltiy of Ice, but had so much more to master and learn.

Jumping down from the little ledge of rock he hit the hard snow and made large crunches. His walking abilities were very weak making it hard to move in this weather. He had to do somthing and quick... he didn't know what it was he could do but Shinobi could kill him now and that woudln't be good... WAIT! whats that! he though. He heard another persons crunch on the ground. He got low and pondered what it was if human or not.

Lute grumbled to himself as he had his head straight down looking at the snow under him. It seemed that he needed to use all of his muscle just to lug all of this snow around as he walked. It was the most annoying thing you would ever have to do, ever. Lute actually enjoyed the snow, he liked rolling around in it, making snow angels, having snow ball fights. That all seemed to be ruined though when it was knee deep. It also didn't help that his feet were almost frozen by the snow. Still he had gotten used to the cold, he could function properly while in it, more or less it was just the thought of him being here by himself that got Lute on the down side. To make matters worse the supplies of water he kept with him might have even been frozen by now.

The genin shook his head and continued to walk. The only reason he was here is because he heard of the snowy place and thought it might be fun to mess around in it for a while but that was completely ruined. Still he enjoyed the crunching sounds he made while he walked, it made a nice little tune but that might have been the only good thing about the situation. Now though his ears picked up on a rather loud crunch nearby. Lute looked around before quickly jumping behind one of the nearby trees, it seemed that the noises had stopped. This was unknown territory and for all he knew there could be a band of missing nin nearby looking for their next victim. A gulp could be heard as Lute calmed his breath, if it was really a threat then he would have to stay calm if he even had a chance of escaping. He grabbed one of his kunai knives as his breathing began to even out. His other hand was on a small satchel of water just incase he would need to preform a jutsu in a rush.

Rhinocat took time to collect his throughts till the noise stoped. What was it he thought to himself. He started using logic to narrow what this was, he knew that the steps were clumsy, large and heavy and it wasn't an animal from here; if it was an animal. Rhinocat decied to figure what it was but how could he do this without being seen. A Place like this seemed to a home to missing nin band and could easily be a trap even now. His breats silent and still his body made no motion when he head the movement of clothing. Here in this still tundra this person had never expercined alot of snow cause your cloths rubbing can make noise.

This fact perhaps was a not a great start to find out what it was. He figured that this was a ninja that was here scouting but who ever it was didn't even realise the noise that they made; or atleast he hoped it could have been a trap. He reached far from his body moving down making sure no cloths rubbed he grabbed a kunai and pulled it up and set it in one hand than made a quick motion making a clone. The hand signs was sure to make noise but his kunai was close to him so he didn't have to make excess noise after his clone is dicovered.

The clone started moving wildy and running around looking for anything but saw nothing. The clone was that stupid so he stood in the middle of a few trees just looking around... Rhinocat took this chance to start focusing charkra to his legs and feet and just kept it rotating and flowing in his blody and mainy at his feet. He would try using a new jutsu to gain a edge on them.

Lute could hear the ruffle of clothing nearby, he could confirm that it was someone, ninja or not still seemed to be unknown. Now though he began to focus his chakra, not into any main point but just so he could indeed use a jutsu when needed. It was bad enough to be caught by surprise but with no defense it was that much worse. He could at least preform a quick escape jutsu if it was needed. Now though a seperate noise could be heard, Lute was almost sure of it. This was coming from the clone who was now charging through the snow like some sort of maniac. It certainly wasn't the sound he heard before, the other was to careful, to quite. Now this was just some sort of suicide attack if anything. Lute got himself closer to the snow, as if to attempt to hide himself. He saw the clone charge into his line of sight. It was definitely a ninja, you could tell by the band that was on its arm. Still it didn't seem to be a missing nin, but either way he probably was a threat if he was out here in this kind of territory. So with quick flick of the wrist the ninja shot his kunai out towards his target.

With that and his cover now blown if there were any more ninja nearby Lute shot off into the air, harnessing all of the speed he could to reach the top of the tree, on its tallest tree branch. There were no leaves so he would be seen rather easily if someone knew where to look but with this he had a vantage point to scout out the area and see if there was anyone else nearby. As soon as his feet stuck to the branch he scouted the area, seeing another person in the snow. He couldn't tell that it was an exact replica of the person he just threw a kunai at because of the height of the tree but he could still see several details such as another armband. It seemed that these two were here together for some reason, more then likely on some sort of mission or other because of how they were armed. Still Lute knew they were part of his villiage because he had never seen them around. To Lute this made it obvious that they were from rivaling villages and therefore they were enemies. Now though he waited to see their next move, being so high up seemed to give him sort of an advantage in his mind, he could see every move that was made.

Rhinocat smiled as his clone seemed to work cause he noticed that a small log was sitting there now. His clone performed a replacement jutsu at the time the kunai went at it. Rhinocat didn't know where his clone was... suddenly his clone appeared and threw three kunai into the sky. Rhinocat followed the a path of the kunais see ahead he saw his opponent. Rhinocat moved in the mask of the kunais no way could his opponent follow his movments... if he does he will be dead or servely hurt. Rhinocat used this to his advanatge making a handsign and tried using that charkra to walk on the snow and ice... it worked, as his steps were as if it was solid ground. Making him move as fast as possible he dove behind a lrge sheilding of rocks. He make some more hand signs and yelled aloud "Ice Style! Snow Clone Jutsu!" Producing two more clones he felt his charkra being drained but he would have to let his clones fight it out.

He dove from the rock with his clones now their was four of them. Now him and his clones could move on this snow like it was nothing. He wondered what th results of this battle may be.

Lute looked towards the real Rhinocat to see his clone appear next to him. Now that they were side by side it seemed they might have been related, maybe brothers. This would mean though that they would be well cordinated and that wasn't good, two on one was bad enough. Now though three kunais where flying up towards him. The ninja panicked, quickly pulling out another kunai knife he deflected the fire of the projectiles before jumping to his right to avoid the other two. The only problem here was that he now wasn't on the branch any longer. "WAH!" He screamed out for a moment before regaining his composure and making a somewhat awkward landing among the snow. This really wasn't good. Still the young ninja shot towards where his kunai had landed the time he shot it at one of the ninjas. It was stuck in a log, obviously from a replacement jutsu. So Lute wedged it out before looking around the area. It seemed the two of them had either retreaded or more then likely just went into hiding to wait for an opportunity to attack.

Out in the open, among several trees and a few large rocks. This was the worst spot Lute could be at right now and he knew it. They more then likely had a clean view of him while Lute was completely clueless of their whereabouts. Still it seemed Rhinocat made little use of this situation as he came out from behind one of the stones, there were actually four of him now and they seemed to be skating on the snow. With a lurch of the neck the ninja looked behind him to see the group of four. Lute growled, it seemed that they weren't even brothers it was just clones, either that or these were clones and the other was still out there. Either way this was still a bad situation but Lute just had to make the best of it was all. So with a deep breath Lute bent his knees and shut his eyes. In what seemed to be a second flat the ninja shot up into the air, his clothes ruffling in the air as he did so. He seemed to be attempting a backflip of sorts but was spinning in the air so that he was eventually facing the group of Rhinocats. As he came closer to them as well as fall from his jump he brought his leg up into an attacking position. Lute would attempt to land it on top of one of the clone's heads. He had aimed for the real Rhinocat but misjudged the situation. This would hopefully smash him directly into the ground, leaving him out cold or at least giving Lute time to get farther away from him and his clones.

Rhinocat smiled as he watched one of his clones get destroyed, how ever he straightened up because he was running out of charkra quick how ever he could move way better and faster than his foe. He moved with his clones in a pack on the far left. Each one ducked behind a tree, Rhinocat knew that this would be great set up. Three of them and he seemed to be cluesless on who was real. He didn't say a word they stayed still with a kunai in hand all of them.

Behind the tree Rhinocat made a hand sign and the two clones threw there kunais. Along with Rhinocats it was three but they weren't in the same direction. They all headed at the oppent but one was dead on one was a foot over his head however he knew that the third was to the right head line. This would seem nearly impoissble to dodge this pattern, but it did have a flaw but they wer moving quick and he wasn't sure if his foe even realised three were coming. Knowing his instict will probley be to get rid of one by hitting it off course with his own kunai. Rhinocat couldn't take the cahnce he grabbed two stars when the kunais were half way trowing them to the left! He knew this a replacment jutsu could work but he needed to be quick besides these two star were way left and possible could knock hit.

Rhinocat was useless now nothing could be done, just wait. Taking this was a great advantage those he moved with swiftness even further back and conceled himself to a small rock den. He was far and couldn't tell what was happening but he knew that he couldn't have been seen and his clones could possible hold long enough for him to regain some charkra.

Lute was now directly in front of the remaining two clones and the original Rhinocat. He was ready to bring out his other arms to grab onto their attacks once they were made but they retreated. Their means of getting around in the snow proved to be extremely helpful as Lute attempted to follow them but was slowed by the snow he had to lug around with him. A small grumble came from him as he noticed two of the clones hide behind trees as well as the original Rhinocat. He noted where each one was located and began to head towards a tree where one of the clones were hiding. As he saw a kunai knife flying straight for him, from the clone who's tree he was heading towards. He also picked up on the other two heading towards him as well. With a panicked movement Lute threw off his overcoat and showed his other set of arms.

Now with his cards fully on the table the ninja pulled out four kunai knives to deflect the projectiles with. He easily knocked the one off that was coming straight for him and also deflected the one going directly beside him, no bother was made towards the one flying over his head. A cocky grin grew on Lute's face after this feat. "Hah!" He yelled out to his mystery foe before realizing two throwing stars were wizzing towards him. There wasn't any time to deflect or even preform a replacement jutsu so he would have to make due with attempting to dodge the stars. He attempted to roll to the right of him but the stars cut into the left side of his ribs. It wasn't an extremely deep cut but you could see blood dripping from it.

"Ahh..." The ninja mumbled as he felt the stars cut into his flesh. It seemed that this person he was up against really thought things through, that and Lute wanted to kick himself for feeling he won so easily. Still the fight wasn't over and both sides knew that. The only things that was accomplished here was that Lute was the first person to have been injured, so far he had only destroyed a clone. Red snow soon began to be colored in around Lute as he stood there, grasping his side. Still he wrung his shirt up to the cuts to keep the bleeding from becoming to much of a problem before he grabbed onto his coat and put it back on. A wish of the intense cold to numb his side soon formed in Lute's head as he felt the pain.

Trying to ignore his nerves Lute pressed on until he was at the tree where he saw one of the clones duck behind. The foot steps stopped for a moment as Lute jumped up onto a low tree branch. He did this to keep himself from being heard moving closer. He jumped across two more trees until he was at the one he had been pressing towards. As soon as his feet touched the branch Lute grabbed onto his kunai knife and flung himself from the tree, attempting to get to Rhinocat's clone and slice it in two.

The clone was destroyed by the Kunai thrown by, Lute Yon. Rhinocat had made a great point now. Using a mix of weapon and clone skils Rhinocat has weakened his oppent. Rhinocat even found a way to obtain a new jutsu to make him able to walk on snow. Rhinocat didn't know his succes yet but he made a key hurt section on his left rib... Rhinocat however was hiding and was down to one clone.

His odds were good but his opponent hadn't even used his charkra to use any jutsu, that Rhinocat knew of. Rhinocat however was running through charkra in extream rates. He must calm his body, control his mind. Leanind in the den in the far back corner he let his back rest and his body rest not moving and he could feel his body feeling much better.

He sacrficed alot to feel this warm fuzzy feeling his last clone in hiding and him in a small remote den. He figured it would hold cover for now his foe has no idea he was in here but he would be on the search after his last clone was destroyed and this little quick command post wouldn't hold useful if he didn't do it right.

Rhinocat was brainstorming a quick plan and let his charkra rebuild by as much as he could push in this small amount of time. With what he felt return he just thought and throught and used this rest time as much as he could. He had somthing to prove to himself and if he won entering the Chunnin exams would make him feel better.

Lute smirked slightly as he saw the clone go down and create a bigger mound of snow. He of course landed in it before scrapping out his kunai with his right hand before slipping it back into its container. A confident air seemed to flow off of the ninja as he thought things over. There was only one clone left then it was only him and the real ninja. An idea flowed through Lute as well, he knew he couldn't move as quickly in the snow as Rhinocat could but if he made use of the trees and used them to move instead he could be just as quick. So with that thought in mind he jumped into the air before landing on the branch that he had recently descended from. Now Lute drew upon what he remembered about where the other Rhinocat he had witness had hidden and tracked down his location. As he got closer he realize that the ninja wasn't there. Lute wasn't aware that this was the real Rhinocat and he had fled to a nearby cave. So the ninja decided to check out the location of the last remaining clone and take it out.

The air was mostly silent now. No more cracking of snow, only a rare breeze of air that you could hear whistling threw the air. That and the small creaking sound that only the most keen of ears could pick up from the trees. Of course Lute found this to be almost to noisy, as if he knew he would be caught for it because he was so near the branches it was effecting. Still he made his way towards the tree where the last clone was before diving down out of the tree and aiming his kunai at the ninja's neck. Hoping that finally this was the real Rhinocat and he could slice its throat, ending its life not all at once but over time. This way he could at least get some information for the ninja and find out where he was from before having it meet its demise.

Rhinocat felt his loss of another clone, as it was cut from behind. He had no current clones and was well hidden. He wasn't sure how to continue this battle. Rhinocat pressured into making a vast move of power he made a hand sign "Ice Style! Snow Clone Jutsu!" Rhincat used up a great bit of his charkra and ran out with the clones. There was five clones and one of him making six figured dashing on top the snow. Rhinocat ran past the foe and retrived his ninja tools. Rejoining his band of clones he starred the foe closley. He knew he could win it now as he yelled "Super Weapon Jutsu!" All of his clones and him threw three kunais at the oppoent each of them going fast and in diffrent locations.

Rhinocat had no idea what his opponent would do but it was apparent a close range attack like this on the snow could defeat his opponent. He didn't plan on killing him but if this knocked him out he would retreive his tools and leave at once. This battle was needed to kill oneanother.

Lute could feel himself getting weaker, he should've worn more clothes. A puff of smoke came from his mouth as he blew out. Whoever this ninja was, he was still around. He was a coward, he had just sent in his clones while he went and hid. That was cowardice if Lute had ever seen it, it was almost disgusting to see. Still now he heard the strange skimming sound that was heard before when Rhinocat was sliding around on the snow. He was coming back, either him or more clones he was going to have do his bidding. There were six of them in total, it was times like this that Lute wished he payed a little more attention in class when it came to seeing through clones. They all brought out kunai and in what seemed to be a flash launched them towards the bide ninja. With a calm, collective look on his face Lute made a handsign before being hit directly from the weapons that were aimed towards him. A puff of smoke was then seen as Lute turned into a block of wood with the kunai stuck into it.

The ninja was now perched up in the branches as he opened the latches on his belt that contained his precious supply of water. With a quick handsign and a determined look Lute preformed the water clone jutsu to combat the snow clones. There were four of them in total, making five Lute to go up against the six Rhinocats. All of these jutsus seemed to take a toll on Lute though as he refrained from attack and just watched Rhinocat for a moment, waiting for him to make his move first.

Rhinocat had seen the failed attack and looked finding his foe in a near by tree. "Well I know this is sad but my first words are my last to you I shall meet with you once again!" Rhinocat ran to his ninja tools in the pack of clones grabbing them and ran off the ditance trotting on the ice. He moves swiftly but he must return to his village and see what is new.

Moving away he tried to stay close just incase the ninja was to attack back because now with clones of water he had to not take any chances of fighting and getting hurt. This was over, till next time.
