Twist looks around at the old, decrepit arena. He observes the holes in the walls, the collapsed doors as he ponders the hatred that these people must have had for the west, and how they must have been given better reasons than him to be disgruntled towards the magic slingers. As he heads towards the center of the arena he catches a whiff of the aroma of death that still lingers in the old stone Arena. he shakes his head to try and ignore the stench as it attempts to envelop his senses. Twist smiles greatly as he mumbles to himself "To think of these slaves, and they must have raved, wishing one day to be saved...Then upon one fateful night, an angel of mercy took up the fight, then the shinobi showed their true might..." Twist begins to looks sad as he throws one of his cards at the door in anger, his screams echoing throughout the arena. The force of the card on the wall causes part of it to fall to the ground, the card sill embedded in the wall. Twist then speaks softly "why...why did those bastards have to kill her...do they know no mercy" the bells on his cap begin to laugh, their laughs echo throughout the stone arena. Twist glares up towards one of them as he says sternly "not now guys...." Twist looks around the arena more "...there must be a sign of who killed her...and how she died...then I can find her grave..." |

Darkness filled the most of the premises. The stench of death and ghastly sorrow dominates the whole of the arena. In the binding tendrils of shadow, Kyero stands tall, his back against a wall. He had visited the place to remind him of Crypt. He was homesick, well not really. He did not miss how things worked in Crypt. Rather, he missed how well known he had become. In his thoughts, her memory beckons. It would be his deathbed when he forgets about her silhoutte. Like a ghost she haunts him. Like a temptress, her memory will forever be engraved be ingraved in his mind. A sigh of relief escaped the experienced warrior, he was enjoying the peace of the place. He felt being dead has its reward: never ending peace. "To think of these slaves, and they must have raved, wishing one day to be saved...Then upon one fateful night, an angel of mercy took up the fight, then the shinobi showed their true might..." Kyero was surprised that someone would be here. Another must love to relish the memory of his dead. Without hesitation, Kyero calmly approached the source of teh disturbance, walking in the midst of the shadows as not to draw quick attention to himself. He was in new place. He wasn't sure if the customs were like of Crypt but he hoped it wouldn't be. He would love to retain the peace and sanctity of this sanctuary. Quickly, he found it. The man was playing with cards. Kyero found it amusing among other things. Confident that the man would not strike back, he looked more like a jester than a shinobi, Kyero came close to him with the veil of the shadows. "Quiet... Isn't it?" His words were almost inaudible but the echoes brought it to be more legit. He smiled at that thought. Guess he wouldn't have any problems when he gets attacked. |

Twist calms down slightly and pulls the card out of the wall using a chakra string. His mind wanders into what might have been...what might have happened in the west did not intervene with his perfect life. His outfit was a reminder of that. As he ponders he begins to imagine what his mother would have looked like in her old age; his father too. He then begins to fantasize about the girls that he may have met, that he would have loved had it not been for his mangled face. These thoughts made him hate the west with each passing moment. After a few moments in silence, aside from the bells on his head. there he thinks to himself "...I am alone..an island of a man..." As he does he hears a quite voice of a young man, around his own age, to break the silence. "Quite...Isn't it?" the sounds echoed throughout the walls. The jester then sighs to regain his composer. "Forgive me mate, blame Fate, she hath not been so great. Strangers should not see each other rage, but note, mine has been tightly caged." Twist then turns around to fine the source of the voice. After a short time, the jester notices a figure, that is slightly shorter than he is, leaning against a nearby wall. Twist slowly walks towards the figure. "May I ask the name of my company?" The jester asks with a grin on his face, chakra strings are twirling the cards around as though they were dancing. As he walks closer to the figure he realizes that it is indeed a young man around his age. the sunglasses reminded him of an Aburame that his father once told him about, but the rest of the outfit did not match. "Again may I ask the name of my new found company?" |

Kyero was clearly interested with the stranger. It seemed he was nothing like he ever met. Dont get him wrong. Being from a village like Crypt, he had met his share of freaks and strange beings. In its entirety, Kyero was exposed to almost all walks of life. This was just a stranger man. He wore the same clothes that Kyero would surmise to be from the West. He looked little like a shinobi. His face was covered with a mask protecting only the identity of the upper region. He was playing with cards, Kyero thought he might be using his chakra as strings to guide them through their flight. "Forgive me mate, blame Fate, she hath not been so great. Strangers should not see each other rage, but note, mine has been tightly caged." The man rhymed, his words were in tune, but Kyero was not impressed. The Chuunin felt he was being toyed with, a wrong move to make on someone with the Sanity Seal. He narrowed his eyes as the fool began to walk towards him. Unsure of whether to attack or just sit back, he let the man make the decision. He waited for any movement that might be an opening for him to guess how this would end. Slowly, he stood his ground. He stood tall, meeting the eyes of the other, searching for any truth behind his motives. "May I ask the name of my company?" The fool continued playing with his cards, toying with their every movement, Kyero was reluctant to just stand still. He was neve a patient man and he never did believe in another's sincerity. If this man would strike, he would return the favor. citizen of Bide or not, he would not hold back if he feels his dignity being juggled about."Again may I ask the name of my new found company?" The fool continued, shocking Kyero more. The stranger appeared calm as he approached another stranger. Was he tactless enough to let his guard down? Why would he approach any man without his knowledge? What if Kyero kills him once he comes near? A smile streaked on Kyero's lips. If this man was a target for a mission, the mission would be carried easily. "I am Kisu-ru Kyero. A Chuunin of and new to Bide. Who then, may I ask, are you?" His words were calm and of no raw emotion. Kyero was blind, a drawback of being a Kisu-ru. However, he could see well. his bloodline allowed him to see through sound and he had perfected the craft. His sunglasses glistening through the morning light, he waited still for the decision to be made by the jester. Would he fight? Or would he just let him be? It would be a waste, dishonoring the Arena, if they should fight. Kyero was new to Bide and his uncertainty of how things worked draw an aura of complete paranoia over him. Being a blind man that can see sound, it was not avoidable. He still ahd doubts if sound could be more accurate than normal sight. |

Twist stops moving as he starts to feel the man's tension and watch his eyes narrow. The cards are still spinning around Twist, 7 in total, dancing to the tune of the morning breeze. He begins to think of will happen if this man attacks. What if he is stronger than Twist. Why is he tensing up...besides the outrageous outfit? He then decides to take things more seriously and to stop the foolish rhymes, as it may offend his company for unknown reasons. He also wonders if his company is a westerner, but that was quickly settled once Twist caught glimpse of the stranger's skin tone. While thinking of these things he then noticed his company has answered his question. "I am Kisu-ru Kyero. A Chuunin of and new to Bide. Who then, may I ask, are you?" The young man's words were dull and emotionless. The jester stands up straight, playing with his bells, as he thinks of what his father said once about Kisu-ru; completely ignoring the fact that his new friend was a Chuunin. The bells laugh as though being tickled. He slightly remembers the clan of the blind and how they can see using sound and the vibration of objects. How this was possible amazed Twist when he was younger, but still he didn't care too much. Then it dawned on him that his friend asked for his name. The Jester stops and bows to his friend saying "I am Twist, Lord of Fools, Genin of the Village Hidden in the Bide, as you may or may not see ,feel...whatever you do...on my arm, recently arrived from the Western lands of Violetta, raised and tortured in that land, yet born in what is now called Qin, and last but certainly not least, Master Puppeteer, though I prefer to use my cards as you have plainly seen...or heard...or...or whatever it is that you blind people do." He says these things in a slightly confused tone when it comes to the subject of seeing. Twist looks closer into the man's body movement. "Do you think I wish to fight? No no friend, what do I look like? A Fool? Such a thing is madness to battle someone of a bloodline you know so little about, especially after a 10 year absence form this country...But I must say if you wish for a spar I am sure I can accommodate a deal...Let’s say you do not use your bloodline and sounds skills and I will not use my cards, seeing as how the fighting style of the puppetry skill without puppets, likely, unknown to you, and thus I shall use the puppet on my back instead , seeing as this is more common. Furthermore, how you bloodline is outlandish to me, in addition I would like there to be a CHANCE of me not dying in this encounter, that would lead to a very, very bad day." |

Kyero wasn't amused nor was he interested with the fool for long. He deemed him quite strange yet useless to him. If what he said was true about him, then there would be no reason for the Chuunin to stay longer. The cards, 7, continued dancing around his biddings. Like mindless throngs of followers, they deemed the jester as their head. Slowly and in a tune worthy of nothing, they swayed and fell for his control. The bells of his noted their own appearance in the conversation of two strangers meeting in a strange twist of fate. "I am Twist, Lord of Fools, Genin of the Village Hidden in the Bide, as you may or may not see ,feel...whatever you do...on my arm, recently arrived from the Western lands of Violetta, raised and tortured in that land, yet born in what is now called Qin, and last but certainly not least, Master Puppeteer, though I prefer to use my cards as you have plainly seen...or heard...or...or whatever it is that you blind people do." His words did not intend to harm Kyero and it would have hurt people with the disability who were not too keen to accept such false denotations but the Kisu-ru was different. He was used to the situation and had clearly encountered far more dangerous Crypt in men, most of which taunted his inability to see directly. Besides, it would not be good to start slapping the little puppet around. Tortured in Violetta... A Western place?! Then if he has bad memories there, I doubt he will be of any use to me... Furthermore, how you bloodline is outlandish to me, in addition I would like there to be a CHANCE of me not dying in this encounter, that would lead to a very, very bad day." For the jester to appear all knowing would have struck a normal man in awe and fear altogether but Kyero was no normal man. He found his manner of speaking amusing if not entirely garbage. A breath of sigh escaped him without much effort as he shook his head. He was hoping for something more exciting than this, yet he was still here. He obviously made the mistake talking with this one. No matter how he hungered for a little fight, he thought better than to start his own grave. "Sigh... Well, I've wasted enough time talking with you. It seems you are too afraid to be a man. A spar would have been the best. But seeing you so unbecoming, telling me of your fears and what not, doesn't leave much to interest the smallest part of my bones," Kyero glared at the jester, boring a hole through his soul, as he donned an air of arrogance and authority. He slowly turned his back towards the Genin as he made his way to leave. (OOC: You can attack me if you want. *hinthint*) |

(OOC: ok fine I'll attack first, but he normally would not do that unless you were a westerner..oh well whatever, makes things more fun thought the jester has 0% chance of doing any damage...) The fool listened to the Chuunin's words. "Sigh... Well, I've wasted enough time talking with you. It seems you are too afraid to be a man. A spar would have been the best. But seeing you so unbecoming, telling me of your fears and what not, doesn't leave much to interest the smallest part of my bones," As the jester listened to these insuts thoughts raced through his head. He begins to think to himself, "who is he to judge me? Who is he to say I am a waste of time simply becuase I wish to speak before a spar...must so I may gain respect in this new village...and then if i am some how able to defeat him word will spread...maybe I will be seen as a true asset to the village...Fine....it appears I have no choice..." He watches as the Young man begins to leave. "I see Sir," the jester finally speaks "You are afraid...what if your bloodline ablities are not able to compensate for your disablity? That is why you will not take my deal..." As he speaks he calmly pulls 3 extra cards from his side using Chakra strings, then continues. "Here you made me beleive I was the weak one...hm...I see the truth now...But still...I was doing you a favor...You see ,Sir, These cards are far more powerful than any puppet Sasori could make." The jester's bells then laugh a little "And they call me a Fool..." The puppet on his back falls to the ground. Fira makes a resounding thud as she falls to the ground, her joints clanking together as the after shock from the fall causes her to bounce. She sits calmly behind the jester, as though waiting for her turn to play, her dress fluttering in the wind. The Jester makes five cards fly up into the air, and the other five are called to his hands. The jester cracks his neck as the five in the air slowly glide to the ground. There are three cards in the fool's left and and two in the right. The beels begin to laugh louder. "You should know well enough by now, sir...never turn your back on a stranger!" The Jester quickly moves his arms and wrists, seeminly twitching them quickly, then opens his hands releasing all five cards. "Barrage!" the Fool mummbles as the five cards change into fifteen, all of them now flying straight and true towards their target. As he throws the cards his hands go towards their opposite sides, his left hand by his right hip and vice versa. This allows him to connect Chakra strings to Fira. As the cards fl he thinks to himself "this is un doubtibly, the doumbest thing I will ever do..." |

Kyero sneered as he turned his back to the jester. It would be a waste of his time to start a fight. He would, eventually, end it as quick as the opponent could notice his trap. Kyero ahd never been the type to start anything rather he'd be the one to finish it. As a Mirage Genin, he was born into a world that tend to make everything else seem so small. Belittling every opponent he had was his main disadvantage. After turning to a Crypt nin, however, he found the hard way to respect his opponents. Crypt was home to the many scum that inhabits the shadows of this world. It gave them shelter, freedom, and sanctuary from the truth of being incarcerated of their failure and emptiness in life. Kyero sought Crypt a new home after those traumatic events in his Mirage life. Beginning a new life, he gained a new leash. Everyone had a weakness, most were weak on the head. On this strange opponent, it appeared he would be another victim. He preys on the weak of mind. To fall for such a childish trap was the lowest of low. A fool indeed... The jester mumbled on, words which didn't interest the Kisu-ru. Words signifying arrogance and stupidity, he spoke of Sasori and the like. Kyero almost gave out a boisterous laugh. Sasori was long dead. His power would become weak compared to the enw age of shinobi that haunted the ground from where they stood. Thunk! The sound of something falling to the ground made Kyero twitch. Enhancing his sight by using his bloodline limit, he could see the skeleton of the puppet behind the silhoutte of the hideous being. He noticed it looked a bit girly for his taste. Kyero sneered even more. A dress? You gotta be kidding me... The white of his eyes hidden behind those thickly colored sunglasses, he continued to peer through his "Sight of Sound". "You should know well enough by now, sir...never turn your back on a stranger!" the jester said, donning an air of arrogance. Kyero could see the jester moving himself rather quickly. From his hands flew five different cards. Hmmm... Cards?! Kyero was rather disappointed at this. He thought he would be fighting against an arcane sage. This was not Magic. It was a blatant display of insanity. "Barrage!" The Fool suddenly exclaimed as his five cards turned to fifteen. All of thsoe fifteen cards looked to be serious at hitting Kyero while he still ahd his back turned. Maybe the jester thought he could end this rather quickly. Kyero's sneer turned to a wide grin. Fool! The fifteen cards, glinting as they cut through the air, charged at Kyero with naught to fear. They looked determined to make him bleed. As they were about to strike, however, Kyero shook his head as he bowed down, closing his own eyes. Shield of Sound! From the point of impact, the cards were easily deflected by an unknown force. One by one, they were thrusted back into the jester as each fell flat before him. "If that's all you can do then I suggest you go back to Violetta and play with your dolly more. Your presence in Bide shames it." Kyero's voice was cold, his intentions were clear. To annoy and provoke until the former makes a subtle mistake was his strategy. It had worked well in the past and from this point, it seemed it would never fail him. |

(sorry it took so long, I had writer's block, still do but enough for me to write this) The Jester watches as the cards are deflected one by one. They float to the ground sadly, weeping at their failure to the wind. The jester doesn’t pay much attention to them, they are but cards. He does not even realize when ten of the fifteen disappear into thin air. Twist listens at the man insults him more; the chakra strings from his right hand slowly detach from the puppet, Fira. Twist thinks to himself ”How dare he say that? Yes he is stronger than me I know that, but still. Talk about poor sportsmanship and even worse taste. This man is scum…not worthy of my attention…but I have nothing better to do.” Twist then thinks through for the man’s body language and tone. At this the jester realized what was going on, the man was provoking him, waiting for the jester to make a mistake. The bells on the jester’s cap laugh wildly. Fine, the jester will play this childish game, pretend to be upset and then wait to foil the enemy’s plans. The jester smiles as he decides to continue to fight, solely for the reason that he has nothing better to do. The jester twitches the little and index fingers on his left hand. At this both of Fira’s hands collapse and blades come out of the wrists. Twist twitches a few more fingers and causes the puppet to stand up in a fighting position; it’s joints clink together as it moves. “I like my dolly…it’s what kept me sane all these years…but then again some people don’t have a sense of humor. I guess you’re one of them.” The jester moves his entire left arm towards the front as Fira jumps and floats next to Twist, blades facing forward towards the enemy. The jester jumps back a little to a safer distance, leaving Fira slightly in front of him. The puppet stares out with a child like smile as though laughing at a joke, knowing that she herself was the joke. Fira’s gown continues to flutter in the wind, her dead wooden eyes staring at the enemy, still waiting for her turn to play. The jester raises his right hand as the bells continue to laugh. His smile grows larger as he stares at the blind ninja. He cracks his knuckles before showing his skill he learned in the west. “Here is something I know you haven’t seen, friend. Spirits of Light Drive!” His words echo in the arena as light starts to form in his hand. The light fires itself at the enemy in the shape of a bright, pulsing arrow. The light fires towards the enemy’s torso with the same accuracy of his cards. The jester anxiously awaits the next move from his enemy, still hoping to prove himself to his new village. |
