That's fine, that's why I'm asking if it would be fine as an ability instead. |

It seems like it does WAY too much to be one ability. An Attack Complete Telekinesis Extra Dodge (A lot of Extra Dodge) That and adding Spirit Stat to Dodge total is... sick. |

I should mention that changes the Dodge Formula to (Spirit+Speed+Agility)/2....The attack I can make as another ability altogether. *Edited ability* |

So not only is Spirit added to your dodge... but when your HP is below half it adds spirit to your dodge again? Also you still mention damage in there. |

"This also adds the Spirit stat when calculating dodge so the equation becomes (Spirit+Speed+Agility)/2, when HP is below half, Spirit/2 is added to Agility and Speed stats respectively. Recieved damage caused by Magic is multiplied by 1.5 and leave the possessor of this trait without the ability to attack the next turn." Problems: 1) What activates it? Just him focusing about it? 2) The "(Spirit+Speed+Agility)/2" and "when HP is below half, Spirit/2 is added to Agility and Speed stats respectively" together is waaay to powerful. Below half HP it would be: (Spirit + Speed + Agility + Spirit)/2 3) "Recieved damage caused by Magic is multiplied by 1.5 and leave the possessor of this trait without the ability to attack the next turn." Does that mean WHEN he is hit by magic he cannot attack next turn? Or that when the ability it activated he cannot attack next turn? |

1.) Yes, it is focus oriented. 2.a) The (Spirit+Speed+Agility)/2 is the new dodge equation. Period. The addition of Spirit to Speed and Agility does not come into play when calculating the Dodge Formula. 2.b) Spirit is added to Agility and Speed only when his HP falls under half. 3. The ability is always active, so yes, he's weak against Magic. *Will make the edits accordingly* Psionic Foresight Description: Being born a psychic is usually hard on children, but the pros usually outweigh the cons. With the insight given by that of the LifeStream, one's perception of time is slowed to a point where they can attack faster or dodge quicker. But the downfall of this is the connection of the Lifestream with the user is increased, coming into contact with Materia would give the possessor of this trait a series of flashbacks of the knowledge and all that is contained inside of it. Most can block it out but when attacked with Materia, the effects are slightly more potent against them. Requirements: 20 Spirit, Must have at start, be born with. Effect: This also adds the Spirit stat when calculating dodge so the equation becomes (Spirit+Speed+Agility)/2. When HP is below half, Spirit/2 is added to Agility and Speed stats respectively, these new values are not used in the dodge formula. Recieved magic damage is multiplied by 1.5 and leave the possessor of this trait without the ability to attack the next turn. Cost: None Edited by Shin Draven, Dec 28 2008, 08:51 AM.

can i try to simplify things?
there same meaning and no big scary equation ^_^. anyway to the critiquing only thing is see wrong is adding half of spirit to both speed and agility. maybe 25% added to both would be more fair. |
