Definitely better +50 stats is STILL alot but it will eventually become obsolete so I'm gonna give it my 1/2 approval. |

+50 to all stats still seems... well, kinda high for a level 2, level 3 or 4 sure, level too I personally think it's still a bit too high. Just my opinion. Edit: Not to mention the healing aspect ontop of that. Definately too good for level 2 in my opinion. Edited by Drathmar, Feb 6 2009, 02:32 PM.

See, my reasoning in it not becoming obselete is this, at 300hp you get your level 2, this one, and it't not hard to keep it at 1000gil and still buy stuff. So, you gain +50 to all 7 stats which gives you +350 total stats, which means you just increased your total stats by 116%, PLUS you heal 500hp/mp which is more health than you even have at that point, and though you didn't specify, do you gain HP and MP from the extra stats? I assume so. So you would have 650 hp, heal 500hp from 50% damage... so its basically like... you get a super boost, get to heal all the damage to get to that limit break... and it lasts for 3 posts. Okay, so now lets look if it was the level 2 second limit break. Thats 500hp. So, your doubling your stats at that point pretty much. Plus healing all the damage you took still. It says the limit break should only be slightly better than a lvl 2 spell. Level 2 hate only increases ONE stat by 60%, which in totla ststs isn't gonna be much, this doubles your total amount of stats at that point, or close to it. Level two spells only do around 1.5x damage (or 1.5 times magic stat). This does more on the stat gains, plus it heals you. Okay, so lets look at level 3 and see how obselete it would be by then. 1,000 hp for level 3 LB's. 1,000 total stats. Your increasing your total stats by 50%. And still healing 50% of your max hp, not including what you would gain from the stat gains. That, sounds about right for a level 2 LB, well, either effect does really, both together seems a little strong still, but it's definately not like its obselete at that point. You only have to take half damage to use it, and then you use it and are at max HP again, even at the point you get level 3 limit breaks. This is why I think it is still to powerful for a level 2. |

Name: Ability Lock [Limit Break Level 2] Description: A group of steel chains form around the opponent. A few moments later, a group of up to five locks materialize on the chains. When the last lock is placed, the lock and chains glow brightly for a moment before vanishing. Requirements: Limit Break Level 2 Access Effect: Blocks the use or effect of any abilities that the target has. Any ability that the target has that J has as well does not get locked. Cost: None. Ok, here's a new idea. Proceed to rip it to shreds. |

There is a problem with the Limit Break. It doesn't state how long it lasts and if there is even a chance to avoid it. These things need to be there since there is not a single spell or limit break that are auto-hits or last for the entire thread. |

Alright. Easy enough fix. Name: Ability Lock [Limit Break Level 2] Description: A group of steel chains form around the opponent. A few moments later, a group of up to five locks materialize on the chains. When the last lock is placed, the lock and chains glow brightly for a moment before locking. When the Limit Break ends, the chains and locks vanish in a bright flash. Requirements: Limit Break Level 2 Access Effect: Blocks the use or effect of any abilities that the target has. Any ability that the target has that J has as well does not get locked. The effect lasts for 5 posts, and the chains travel at (Magic + Int.)/2. Cost: None. Perhaps add a Casting and maybe an Agility requirement, as that was how it is with my combination of a Magic and a Command Materia.

Electric Death Twister Description: A combination technique of the Thunderstorm and Tactical Tornado techniques, this technique concentrates and directs the power of the Thunderstorm into the Tactical Tornado to make it much more powerful. This technique requires two different users, both who know this technique, in order to be used. It is basically an electric tornado that the user with Tactical Tornado supports while the Thunderstorm user controls movement and direction. Requirements: 1 user with Thunderstorm, 1 user with Tactical Tornado, the two users in the same thread together. Effect: Damage is (Damage from Tactical Tornado hits that connect + Damage from Thunderstorm) * 1.3. Damage from the attack is both wind and lightning element. Cost: (MP cost of Thunderstorm + MP cost of Tactical Tornado)/2 from each user. The first of hopefully many combination techniques that will be in the Mog Squad. Fix/approve away CoC. |

Moogle Aid 1/2 Approval. Role Reversal Role Reversal needs to reduce lesser stats, or the actual reduction percentage needs to be lowered. You could also reduce the amount of time the status is in effect as well. At the moment it is really high. (50% for 5 posts, 4 stats) Although I'll cut you some slack because of the Spirit requirement. 40%, 4 stats, and for two turnss. How's that sound? In those two posts you'll kick major ass. Well, it isn't just the spirit requirement. This doesn't affect their magic at all, so against a magic user, their offense isn't really offset by this. Ranged people wouldn't hurt too badly by this either. It might make their shots not so dead on, but it doesn't ruin them either. Not to mention that it could be easily cured by Esuna, or whatever the name of the spell that cures all status conditions is. If they have that, they could easily use that their next post and just lol at me. Edited by Bag o Bones, Mar 26 2009, 02:47 PM.
