Heh, you surprise me for two reasons. The first is that you caught my reference, and the second one is that someone other then me played that game. Congrats, you get 20 Necromancy points that you can use in our gift shop.


Back to the matter at hand, I went with 2.5 because that's all this does. All this Limit Break can do is increase the amount of money that I have.

I've been meaning to put these up for a while.

(Ability)
Mastermind
Description: The person at the top of the ladder, the one in charge of the whole organization. The man, er woman behind the curtain. J's the one in charge, and as the one in charge, she obviously gets more Gin then anyone else around.
Requirements: Be Hunter J. 50 Spirit, 50 Intelligence.
Effect: J gets 50% of all Gil that is gained in a thread by others. This doesn't take away from their Gil earned, just adds 1/2 of what they got to J's Gil count.

(Tech)
Minion Maker
Description: Every mastermind needs to have followers, and this technique lets you get your minions.
Requirements: Be Hunter J, Mastermind, 50 Spirit
Effect: Lets J give any PC the custom rank of "J Minion" in addition to whatever ranks they have as well. J gains 10% of all Gil that people with the custom rank "J Minion" earn in a thread, even if J is not in that thread with them. This is not taken from their Gil earned, just adds 10% of Gil they earn to J's Gil total. This technique cannot be used on an unwilling PC, unless J's Spirit is over 2x higher then theirs; and if at any point their spirit gets to that point, they may drop the rank.
Cost: None.


Grenade Rounds
Description: Grenade ammunition that explodes on impact.
Weight: 5
Effect: Twenty bullets, Deal 25 Explosive Damage each. The explosion damage cannot be defended against by armor.
Cost: 900 Gil

For Mastermind, 50% seems like too much to me. 25%?

For Minion Maker, it should only be able to be used on willing PCs. Unwilling NPCs are fine, but PCs need to be willing or it's kind of a godmod.

Grenade Rounds...25 base damage, or 25 damage total?

I was going for 50% because it takes an ability slot, and because 50% is easy to calculate. But, 25 seems a bit too low. If a reduction is needed, how about 30%?


For Minion Maker, that's easy enough to do.

Grenade rounds do 25 base damage, in addition to the gun damage. So 67 Damage max, 25 of which cannon be blocked by armor.

Okay, fire away, and I need some Gil costs for the accessories. I fully expect the visor to probably hit 4 digits.

~ I had a think on this one, and I have to say I'd probably just let it set at the 1,000 Gil mark. My initial thought was that, "whoa, this is powerful," but then I wised up and realised most of the important things it does are done by cell-phone. My main concern was just the heat-sensor, but it isn't that kickass.

Effect: Sets an opponents Limit Break gauge to 0%. For the next 5 posts, the target cannot increase their Limit Break gauge by any means.

Ability Shot
Description: Realizing the usefulness of the Ability Lock Limit Break, J has found a way to partially tap into that power without going into Limit Break mode. J fires a single shot at her target, and if it hits, she can shut off 1 of her opponents abilities for 5 posts.
Requirements: Ability Lock, 100 Weapon Skill in a projectile.
Effect: Fires a shot that locks an opponents ability of her choice for 5 posts.
Cost: Drains 5% of J's Limit Break Gauge.


Limit Shots
Description: Special ammo for any situation.
Weight: 2
Effect: Twenty Bullets, Deal 10 Base Damage each. Any damage taken by being shot with these bullets does not increase the Limit Break gauge.
Cost: 360 Gil

~ I like the idea, but the price is a little low for something this effective. It basically kills back-up plans - I have to admit you've done well to come up with these kind of moves - props to the necro-man. But... how about 450 Gil instead?

I have to agree because of the whole "Sets an opponents Limit Break gauge to 0%" thing. That means it CAN remove a level 4 limit break from someone and then continues to prevent gain of LB for 5 posts. I like Kenny's suggestion so if you change it from 5 to 3 turns after the initial loss I'll 1/2 it.

Ability Shot is now Approved

Limit Shots gets a 1/2 approval from me and if you decide to change it for Kenny 1/2 again so it would be approved.
