If you have very low stats in these two areas, how wold you train to get better? For example a character with A ) 0 in Casting or B ) 0 in Machine Operation This was a little Cloudy for me... Edited by Takumi, Dec 11 2008, 11:08 AM.

I would guess by studying the theory behind it, such as reading up on how to make or use machines, recieving points at the end of a thread seems to be more on if ya gained experience in that skill, not just if ya used it, so finding more out about how to do it without actually doign it would be as good as using it. |

Learn by doing or by being taught. It's the same way as learning guitar - you start with a 0 in the skill, but as you practice, you gradually gain knowledge. Just find something you want to mess with mechanically or magically and do like that. Alternately, find someone willing to train you in the area and get started that way. Then you can start upping your stats by yourself. |
