Approved Techniques

Name: Elemental Strike
Description: When one puts Materia in their body they can use it for their normal attacks. But because the magic is not being channeled properly it is slightly weaker than if it had been used correctly.
Requirements: Monk’s Magic, Elemental Materia (meaning Ice, Fire, Thunder, etc, ability to cast the chosen spell, Casting 25
Effect: while using a physical strike you add one of the spells from the materia equipped multiplied by .75. Example would be if I used Blizzard the damage would be physical damage + (magic*.75). or if I use Blizzara it would be physical damage+ (Magic*1.5*.75) and for Blizzaga it would be physical damage + (Magic*2*.75)
Cost: same as original spell

Name: Frost Armor
Description: When one puts Materia in their body they can use it to enhance their body. In this case the user envelops themselves in a thin covering of ice, decreasing damage, but also decreasing speed.
Requirements: Monk’s Magic, Ice Materia equipped, Casting 40
Effect: created a sheet of ice around the user that acts like armor. Decreases speed and agility by 5% and decreases damage taken by 15%, this does now count as armor for the purpose of using Body of the Monk.
Cost: 6 MP

Chill to the Bone
Description: Ice is a funny thing. Because of its crystalline structure it tends to stick to itself. Most of the time when Blizzard is used the ice doesn’t stick together for very long. With a little extra help though you can cause the ice to weigh down the enemy so long as it stays cold enough
Requirements: Winter Chill, Ice materia, Magic 40, Casting 30
Effect: adds the Slow status effect to anyone who is struck by one of Jack’s ice attacks for as long as Winter Chill is in effect (which is 5 posts I believe). This move renews itself with every strike.
Cost: cost of move*1.25

Chakra
Description: By focusing both mind and body one is able to heal the most grievous of wounds.
Requirements: 50 Spirit 50 endurance, Body of the Monk, Fists of the Monk, Monk's Magic
Effect: Jack meditates for an entire post to restore his life energy (meaning doing nothing else). This restores Jack’s HP and MP by 15%. This can be used a number of times per thread equal to Spirit/10
Cost:0
Approved Limit Breaks

Name: Arctic Strike [Limit Break Level: 1]
Description: Jack fuels his punch with extra energy from his ice materia. This causes the effects of Blizzard in addition to his normal strike.
Requirements: limit break level 1, Ice Materia Equipped.
Effect: Ice damage equal to physical damage + (Magic stat*.5). speed for this attack is increased by 10

I'm going to go ahead and give these both 1/2 approval. Chill to the bone seems to work well and I was worried about Chakra but with all the requirements to use it I honestly cant see a reason not to approve it.
