Big Shot
Limark Bine Tzort "Cobalt"

Appearance:

He seems like a normal human but upon injury, before healing, there is transparent liquid that shows instead of

blood that resembles water. If hit sometimes his body ripples. At times parts of his body look transparent as

though those pieces are all that liquid but this only seems to occur when he wills it. His true appearance is

uncertain, he can look like a structure of water resembling a human or a human. He has long brown hair reaching

around his head he constantly keeps down and as a human he has a long scar reaching down his eye. He is about 5'

10" and is light probably weighing only 155 pounds (light for his height). His eyes are the only feature that is

inhuman. They are but balls of water where his eyes should be and he keeps them covered, usually with glasses and

when not he tries his best to slouch and have his hair down to keep it unnoticeable.

Personality:

With the frustration of lack of memory Limark decided his alias being the only name he knows to go by as his own and seemed to give up on finding his past as though an old life was meaningless to him. Instead he simply shows happiness from his existence. Limark is a happy and confusing individual who is very much care free. He is a rouge who does what he must to live but not completely without the regard of others. He hates being questioned and he loves new things. He has been known to pick fights mostly for just amusement for the day and when given the chance he is incredibly lazy. He feels little sorrow because he is very positive but don't be fooled, he isn’t afraid to do what it takes to survive. "If killing is necessary it is necessary." he says. He is unlikely to be blinded by emotions except for one; this can be explained as his weakness which he commonly says is women. He is intelligent but chooses not to act as such. He thinks before acting and he thinks fast. He is prepared to make sacrifices for himself but it's a mistake to depend on him. If he was on a mission and he had the choice between taking a reward without risk or risking his life to save his companions he would take the money. However, he isn’t stupid, he knows when it's better to help his companions out. He can build relationships, he just isn't known to. In all he is by definition, scoundrel.

Background:

Childhood

Limark was born as a simple child in Kalm town and was raised by his mother. Limark was born as a bastard son of a woman named Midrel who before hand lived in Midgar as a prostitute and having given up that life moved to Kalm 6 months before his birth, the spawn of her and an unknown father. With his birth drawing near a Trey Tzort who felt a combination of love and pity for Midrel settled down with her. On the day he was born he was cursed at by neighbors. Such an indelight it is to be a child out of such a sin. This misfortune only brought him pain in his life. At the age of three his parents decided to have a child brought from their own love and just one month before the fourth celebration of his birth, Midrel and Trey had created a daughter. The daughter soon was more favored by the parents and they often overlooked Limark. Limark grew older and had started home schooling. He found it distasteful of how children taunted and bullied him when he was out and stayed in quite a lot. He would often complain, cry, or even throw a temper tantrum when sent outside. He spent his days inside. On his eighth birthday his parents had construction done to make a large empty room for his play because they felt no child should stay indoors and not exercise. Limark was enthralled and thanked his parents profusely overlooking how much attention his baby sister got. He could start to tell that he was being showed disrespect by his parents at age nine when he started to understand the world more. He seemed to be more interested in people's affairs than anything else and compared them to his studies. He was a brilliant mathematician and it was often the case that he compared people in that manner. One day he spoke to his mother recently after seeing a disrespectful talking to her from his window from an old women and a praising of his father "Mother, that women likes you more than daddy. She likes daddy a lot too. If we were numbers she would be two, you would be one, and he would be three right? That’s simple math." His mother was red in the face as she hit him and spoke "Never look down or up to anyone, all men and women are the same. Just because we think different or act different you should never measure a person's worth." Limark cried as he left to the large room he so much enjoyed. His Sister Jasmine rarely spoke to him in his childhood, mostly because she studied outside of the house. When she did talk to him she always tried to get him outside, she had never succeeded. At the age of ten Limark's mother had another child. But in the processes she bled to death and the outcome from her death produced a baby boy. Joy and sorrow filled Limark in a way incomprehensible. The feeling dazed and him and put him in a form of childhood depression. He shut the windows and he rarely saw the light outside. It was then he made a profound statement that would bring much understanding later in his life, he said "My tears are like the rain I read about except, they don't wash away anything no matter how much is made."

Early Adolescence

It was the third anniversary of his mother's death and his father struggled to maintain their life. However, Limark did nothing to help as he had done nothing for all the years of self imprisonment. Jay, his younger brother was three that day and was like any child his age upset with his brother for not joining the celebration. He enclosed himself in his room on a mental quest of peace with solitude. After his brothers grammatically inferior statements to his brother, his brother in frustration threw the nearest object at him. That object was a framed picture of his mother. The frame shattered on the wall a foot away from his brother and left him scared and crying. Limark found no peace and from his action provoked his sister to come in. Without one word his sister who was only ten at the time and still trying to understand the world gave her older brother an epiphany as she slapped him across the face. The red stinging cheek was physical pain, and at that moment it distracted him from his mental anguish. His sister teary eyed looked at her brother and exclaimed "Maybe that will makes some blood run to your head!" Limark was awe struck. Where he once felt remorse he felt guilt. He understood that he was only making problems for the family sitting there day after day. His family was worried and he was too selfish to notice. In the place of his question "Why me?" came the revolutionary question "Why have I?". He washed away fears to make a platform to build his life on, the life he had not lived yet, and at that moment he grabbed his sister and their tears rained down their cheeks freely, tears that were used to wash the deep sorrow and fears that helped him build on the virgin soil of his mind. He grew very close to his very young sister that day. Closer than anyone for many years, and on that day, he himself opened the blinds to his window so that he may bask in the hot yellow sun which burned upon his skin bringing him warmth and a feeling of content. He had not wasted his life he had just been born, and on that night of that day he decided to leave his house. It was a year later and he was taking classes with the public for the first time in his life. He felt confidence and showed great intellect and maturity for the young age of fourteen. Many children became jealous but Limark was blinded by pride. If that wasn’t enough to make the children aggressive towards him, then the day he saw someone picking on his sister after school was. He had a deep emotional attachment to his sister and upon seeing this, Limark ran up to the bully and without warning struck him in the face. The boy was older than him even, He didn’t know what he was doing bullying his sister but the reason mattered not to him. The boy was big for his age and could easily take out Limark, but that wasn’t enough for him, he had his friends, a group of older boys all large in size gang up on him beating him bloody. Jasmine could do nothing but watch in terror. She really thought he would die, as any childish girl may have thought while watching such a thing. One of the boys then threw him into a crate which broke open. Inside of it was a glass vase which shattered on impact and scared his face. His was breathing hard trying to ride out the pain. Thankfully some adults came by and the boys ran and were unnoticed but Limark was. Jasmine was a witness and by speaking she could be harmed too. She knew it to be right to tell the adults but Limark spoke from his bleeding mouth and lied saying that he was climbing the school trying to see if he could reach the top and hit a few things on the way down and landed on the crate. He protected his sister and himself. The problem was he needed medical attention with his wounds. He was watched over for a week by his sister and a group of adults. Oddly enough the boys didn’t bother his sister again, and on the last day of that week he swore he would become stronger, strong enough to protect himself and people who he cared for. In one years time he made the large room he used to play in a gym. It was once place fore fun, then a place for morning, and now a place for growing. Limark was fifteen and he had ambitions.

Late Adolescence

Limark turned sixteen as his sister was now a early teenager who was just forming her bust and his brother just starting school. Jay was a kind respectful kid who had not be introduced to many of life's displeasures yet and was very innocent just as anyone his age. Limark got a job working under a local carpenter and helped with much intense labor as in house building even though his interest was in small delicate work. He was still the top of his class and continued proving outside of school. The townsfolk had seemed to not care about his origin anymore and entitled him as a good boy. One day a young women only a year younger than him stepped in to the shop. She looked as though she had been crying but she smiled and asked meekly for some wood boards which Limarks boss directed him to get. Her name was Jessie, and Limark decided she must have been the most glorious looking person of her age. He stalled to speak with here and she didn’t see him. Upon her retrieval of the boards from Limarks boss who got the boards from him she paid and walked off, walking out the door with Limark's opportunity. It was only a week later when she returned head down with a hat on. She seemed to be hiding her face. Limark was alone that day at the shop so he greeted her. She asked for something but as Limark saw her facing down he pretended not to hear her so she would lift her head up. The plan worked and she showed her elegant face which seemed to be illed by a large black ring around her eye. As she turned up to speak however, she paused and looked at him as he gazed back speechless. It was a one of a kind love at first site bound that seemed as an impossibility. The spot masked part of her face but she was still more beautiful to him than words could express. She noticed his scarred eye and he noticed her bludgeoned one and in a comical unison they both queried what happened? Jessie giggled and Limark chuckled a bit and fell silent again. Then Limark asked "What can I do for you?" She was looking for a wooden stool. He searched his inventory ignoring the past remark just as she had. He returned and she paid and proceeded to walk out again. Limark came up with the nerve to speak before her making it out of the door. He tried to speak but his words came out jumbled. "You eat right?". She looked back at him in a odd manner and stumbling over his words said "What I mean is would you like, that is with me, go somewhere, of course you don't have too, that is if you aren’t hungry..." He continued to ramble then she stopped him "I'm free at sunset, I live on the east end of town i the yellow roofed building, meet me there okay?". Blushing he made his response "Yes, of course." That day he made it home and then immediately left. His sister stopped him asking how is day was trying to figure out his motives for leaving. He said it was fine and left without much said. She was too curious and she followed him secretly. He met with the Jessie and they went off together and ate under the stars. Jasmine became jealous, having to split his love with another girl. She was immensely jealous. Throughout the year she said nothing and became more and more suspicious. She was agitated and upset a lot and Limark could not figure it out. Jessie and Limark were truly in love and very passionate towards each other. The more of this that went on the more jealous Jasmine became. It wasn’t until two years after meeting Jessie that anything changed. Limark learned of her abusive father and dead mother and all of her secrets. Limark was eighteen, his sister fifteen, and his brother twelve. His sister’s envy disallowed her to meet someone she could too be passionate about. On this year their father lost his job but said to his kids he got a new one. This new job often had him gone for days and days, and he often brought back unusual sums of money. He was shaken and paranoid all the time and was obviously troubled. One day when Jessie and Limark were out with Jasmine following closely behind there was commotion on the west end of town where Limark's house was, upon investigation, two men sat outside the house of Limark proclaiming they have a message for him and his sister. This was that your father is dead, he had stolen a lot of money from us and until we want it back. Every week they would come back for money but just to force the agreement, Jay, Limark's brother was kidnapped as they promised to release him when all the money was returned. Limark worked endlessly day in and day out until his hands were nothing but blisters to obtain the money. He would even miss pre-scheduled days with Jessie. Jasmine was pleased but distraught from the family circumstance. It was then that one day Jessie came to Limark's work place. They comforted each other and as Limark was coaxed to bed the two hate a lovers night. Being distraught about this, Jasmine dazedly walked back to the house. She had forgotten this was a day of payment for the men and encountered them. They questioned her about her brother so she tried to fetch him, however, she was stopped and the men informed her she could help her fathers debt, upon questioning it she was grabbed by the arm and no matter how she screamed and struggled the inevitable happened. They had their way with her but not without alarming a neighbor who in turn was able to inform Limark. In a fury Limark threw on his clothes and ran out. The man gave him a dagger to defend himself. Upon reaching the area of the men he drew his dagger and without notice and without warning plunged his dagger through the neck of one man who shrieked and grew cold. The other man who heard this fled and made it out unscathed. Such a crime was unforgivable to Limark but soon who would be cursed with unjust ruling to him. Several men came back the next day, however, they were in finer clothes asking for Limark who was then chained and arrested for an act of murder. This was a shocking event for his sister and Jessie who both knew they would never see him or Jay ever again. With this he was lost in the sunset riding away.

Time at the lab

Limark woke dazed and confused in a dark cell. From there a man in white coat took his body which seemed so limp he couldn’t move digit let alone a limb. When he talked he spoke in garbled slurred nonsense. He was drugged and could hardly tell the events of which happened. He didn’t know where he was or how long he had been there, his last memory was the leaving of Kalm. The man drew out a file that only had one paper in it and placed it on a desk as he took out a notepad and started to write. The file read "Life Stream Manipulation Project 6". The man put down his pen and looked at Limark speaking "You're a very lucky man you know; you get to be a guinea pig in the name of progress!" The man then started explaining his goals and procedures in a tangent. He showed no regard for him, as far he was concerned, Limark was nothing but another test subject. "Forever we beings have existed within the life stream, a there are many theories of it and I chose to explore each and every one. You see if the life stream was like a river with different channels creating new waves in it, then what would happen if you were make a, splash if you will. This splash would make a strong current in one channel but the splash would skip over so many different waters. Think of the possible outcomes?" The man smiled and stared at Limark. "Now how will we know which possibility is a reality without the proper pebble? You can be the pebble!" This man was sick, whoever he was didn’t matter he had to get out. Limark was motionless. A searing pain went up his spine and everything went white. What was next he wondered. Then he felt light, and his mind's wheels stopped, and then turned again. He lost all that meant anything to him, he lost memories. He was nobody, he couldn’t even remember his name. All he had was a paper in his hands that only had a single word on it "Cobalt". He was outside somewhere and he didn’t know how or where he was. With the paper he picked his alias and what seemed as a forever name. From this day forth he would be Cobalt. The rain fell and he looked upon the skies gazing. Gazing at the simple tears of the sky that seemed to wash all his troubles away so he could build a life of his own.

last time I checked, you could only have 5 traits, but anyways:

piercing weapons should hurt, but should just have a ton of reduced damage. 100% damage reduction is a big deal xD

You can only have 5 traits.
And you should use the normal format for requesting traits and all the other stuff.

When you have fixed this, I'll take another look, as most of the traits seemed acceptable. But since you can only have 5, you must get rid of some of them.

all of the other ones are above my level of comprehension :)

I think you mean Infinite Regeneration. Does it cost that amount of HP in addition to the damage from the attack?

I see where there is some confusion. I meant to remove the puddle remark upon removing the puddle form trait so I just edited that. As for Indefinate regeneration should be infinate because the cost is injury. The infinate remark make it a achilles heal for my character seeing how any damage does extra damage, and it's meant for the total HP. For example, if I have 100 HP and I take 15 damage my body regenerates but I also take 2% out of my total HP so if my max hp is 100 then I take 2 + 15 = 17 damage. As far Water grasp, I'm sorry Riku for any misunderstandings. Basically it's conceilment of weapons and items and a removal at will. I basically can reach into my stomach and pull out a dagger or have a dagger pertrude from my hand. However, this cost MP with each usage and I cannot intake anything with more mass than myself like a house, because that would break natural law as well as weigh me down.

1/4 approval for Formation.

Could you edit Infinite Regeneration so it's clearer that the cost of regeneration is added to the damage being dealt to him/her.

EDIT: see Sarge

Your spelling is slightly off. Get firefox with spelling correction.
Indefinite means 'for an undecided amount of time'
Infinite (NOT infinate) means 'never-ending'. In this case at least.

But other than that, Infinite/Indefinite seems good to me. I'll give my approval as soon as it's edited.

I really think that staff members should give their opinions on this first seeing as how they'll be ultimately accepting it. It sounds balanced but the damage thingy is kinda wierd to me. Ill wait to respond later when I talk to staff bout it. Nice start though.

INFINITE

there is no such word as infinate. I think I have said this 3-4 times now. Could you please listen to me when I tell you that?
If you used either Word or any other text-editor to check your spelling, it would greatly reduce the amount of irritation people might get from seeing a word spelled wrong.
Firefox can have a spelling Add-on, so I recommend Firefox.

And, yes, I am one of those people that get abdominal pain and bleeding eyes from seeing a word spelled wrong. Especially if it has been pointed out several times. Just to say that I'm that way...

Please don't get offended by this, I needed to blow off some steam right now. It's nothing personal, I just hate when people write incorrectly. (NOT the people that do it.) (Yes, that applies to me as well. I hate when I write something and it isn't correctly spelled or otherwise correct.)

I am terribly sorry, I corrected the spelling. The problem is I am currently using another person’s computer who hates Firefox with a passion and I wrote these Traits at 4:00 AM. Aside from those excuses I’m sorry for the misunderstanding and I will try to keep in mind what you said.

Takumi you should calm down. Everyone makes mistakes. Stop being so anal about one god-damn word. It's annoying me cause i mispell words all the time. Being like that would turn people off about the place. Plus you know what me and him meant. Stop being so god damn anal about this. it's about his FE and his abilities, not a spelling contest.

Cost: 7MP for every Post

ok

1) I do not agree with it all being considered hand to hand due tot the fact that wielding a mace is far different than just using your fists and using your fists is far different than using a dagger. though there are endless possibilities they are far too different from each other to be considered the same thing. the up side to this is that you can have any weapon you need for that time, but the down side should be that you need individual skills for each that you come up with. remember you are a FAILED experiment.

2) is the 2.5 time damage instead of the normal times 2 from irregular flow or in addition to it?
