HP: 188/206 MP: 64/82 “HUZZAH! MY ELECTRIC BLAST OF ENERGY HAD LANDED VALIANTLY, AND I HAVE VALIANTLY DEFEATED THE DR-OH SHIT IT’S NOT DEFGARGABLER!” That was when a blast of water caused Nex to scramble in mid air. “DAMN YOU, FUCKING WATER DRAGON BEAST!” The Moogle’s hot fiery rage and dirty tongue was quite apparent in combat, especially in this one. He was about to rush in when he heard that weird vampire demon guy begin to start yelling again about how they should attack. Well, coordination was better than nothing, right? If they didn’t stop this thing, that town would be destroyed. And that town had some really, REALLY good porn. The Moogle yelled valiantly, preparing to launch his coordinated attack, but then he noticed that his taken damage had put him out of commission for about a whole ten seconds, and he had already missed an attack. The Moogle cursed, spun his staff, and then focused his energies. “It is…no matter…” The Moogle said to himself, preparing to launch another Thunder. He flew up higher into the air, directly over the dragon, and then began to spin his staff. “And now…the old…launcheroo…” The Moogle swung his staff then, sending an electric ball of energy directly down at the Dragon. He then stopped for a moment, and swung his staff, sending another one down. Let’s see how the dragon would handle..not one, but TWO Thunders! The whole time this was going on, Nex was unaware of Drathmar's danger. |

Another hit, but this time, the dragon managed to catch his weapon and shake him around a bit. Chris held on as tight as he could. He was less concerned about getting the spear out of the dragon's grasp as he was keeping it on his. Fortunately, the dragon released the spear on its own accord. Unfortunately, it did so by launching Chris up into the air, back towards the front, where he managed to get a glimpse of Drathmar about to be captured in the dragon's mouth. Chris's mind was set on landing safely first. Chris set himself for a three-point landing, his spear being the third point. At the same time, he was going to try and see if he could overpower its resistance to magic, or at the very least show that he was carrying what could be a potential elemental weakness, even if he didn't have much to go with it. However, with his comparatively long charge time, Chris couldn't fire off the attack in mid-air, but instead got it off just as he landed, sending it for the head. Afterwards, he turned to face the masked man, and said to him, "Mind if we trade weapons for this, sir? That is, if yours can deal more damage than mine. As you just saw, I have fire, but I'm probably more effective at melee."

His eyes locked with those of the dragon as its head stopped shaking, and it seemed to look toward him as his sword flashed through the air, scoring a hit on the leg of the dragon. He smirked up at it, his eyes challenging those of the dragon as he stared into them, as if daring him to come for him. His mind worked on the best way not just to beat the dragon, but for all of them to come out of it alive, and he figured the best way, was for him to draw the attention of the dragon onto himself. He had fought with two of the others before, and knew as big as the dragon was and the speed of its attacks they probably couldn’t avoid them. The woman he had noticed jumping and climbing up the thing was good, but he didn’t think she would quite be able to avoid the dragon if it turned on her fully either, and the other guy was to far away for them to even communicate with them it seemed like. This in the end left him. This was why as the dragon seemed to focus on him he slowly grinned at it, a feral, almost cold evil grin as his blade dug into it. Green glowing energy that looked like the energy from the life stream or mako energy, if anyone was familiar with it, seemed to flow from the wound into him. As it reached him, the pain from the bruises and bumps faded and the scratches from falling onto the hard forest floor closed up fading without even a scar to show for it. As soon as the hit scored, he flicked his blade back toward himself. Then the dragon was suddenly rushing forward at him, its neck arching as its head snapped down toward him. He quickly moved, pushing himself as fast as he could, as he jumped forward and to the side, the head snapping through where he had been a moment before. He quickly spun, his feet skidding around the forest floor, and he brought the now sword like blade around in a slash at the side of the dragons mouth and jaw. For anyone who would be able to see him, the midnight black blade would seem to have darkness rolling and roiling up and down the blade, as if a faint dark aura surrounded the sword and was constantly in motion. As soon as the hit scored or missed the dragon, he would coil his legs under him and suddenly take a huge leap into the air. He leapt higher than most people would ever be able to. He swung that sword around his body as he did so, then brought it around above his head, that dark aura still flowing over the blade as he did so, as he was attempting to stab it into the neck of the dragon, and if it worked, he had something planned, but first, it had to work.

As the attack of Tso lan hit the dragon in the mouth, the whole head became frozen. This in turn gave Drathmar enough time to get away from the bite of the ferocious dragon. The dragon crashed it's giant head into the ground to shatter the ice. As it did so, a shard flew towards Tso Lan. The dragon was angry at him as well, so it fired off a Wataga (2Xmagic damage) at him. Blended into the Wataga was a Fissara (2Xmagic damage). This attack encased Tso Lan in a giant tree. Unless somebody was able to slice the tree down the middle, Tso Lan would die. The dragon became a little more calm as he had made it almost impossible for Tso Lan to survive. Then again, it was quickly angered again by a barrage of new attacks. It was cut once on the side of the head and then had a piercing blow into the wood on the top of the head. At the same time it was being climbed up on, and it got two good stabs from the climbing. If that wasn't enough, the dragon was electrocuted by the moogle mage. When the dragon came to it's senses again, it was attacked by fire, which made it even angrier. It sprayed Water against Chris for the fiery attack, and Water against Nex for the electrocution. The female watching this fight in the forest seemed to become even more interested in the battle than she had been before. She stood up from the rock she had been sitting on and walked slowly towards the battlefield. She made sure that she hid behind the trees to avoid getting seen, though.

Angeles held on tightly to her sword as the dragon thrashed about attacking the others on the ground. She gnashed her teeth and furrowed her brow, her knuckles white from her grip on the hilt. She lifted her head to look along the dragon’s back to the back of its head. Though the chances of this dragon having a spine, or even a brain for that matter, were very slim, Angeles decided to try and attack the base of the head, where it connected to its neck. With this in mind Angeles braced herself against the dragon, spreading her legs across the back as one would on a chocobo, and pulled out the sword. She then carefully placed her feet on the dragon’s back and kept her eyes on the destination. She sheathed her sword so that she could use her hands to catch herself if she fell, then started running up the dragon’s back, slipping and sliding every so often as it continued to move but she managed to catch herself, up to the point where she reached its neck. She got down on her knee as maneuvering was becoming more difficult and breathed heavily as she tried to think of what to do next. However she was distracted as the dragon made an attack towards one of the people on the ground who was then suddenly encased in a tree. Her eyes widened and a rage built up within her. The dragon stilled for a moment and Angeles took the chance to dart up the neck but then suddenly two attacks hit its head, and sent Angeles tumbling off of its neck as it retaliated with attacks of its own. She quickly drew her sword and stabbed it into the dragon’s neck and dangled from the hilt, less than pleased. She growled and she began pulling herself up then swung her leg up onto the dragon’s neck, like mounting a chocobo. She panted against the wood as she flattened herself against it to keep her balance, then she gnashed her teeth and pulled out her sword only to stab it back into the dragon, where the head met the neck, hoping that the attack would at least do something.

A few moments after Nex’s electrical attacks landed, the monster roared back and launched a large ball of water or something at the Moogle. Indeed, the water was fast, but Nex was so high up in the air all he needed to do was float about six feet up and the devilish ball of damaging liquid simply flew past him. The Moogle let out a breath. He still had a ton of magical energy left, and was also basically near the top of his physical stamina. He was still in this fight, and he was going to make sure he made a huge dent in this wooden monstrosity. It wasn’t really all that scary, but it was wooden. How could a wooden dragon breathe water? It really didn’t make a whole lot of sense, but that was just something Nex would have to live with (well, not long, considering he was planning on partaking in it’s death.) The Moogle spun his staff, and then closed his eyes, preparing for another electrical assault. This dragon would have to come up with some new tactics. The Moogle pulled back his staff, and then swung it. That was one thunder. The Moogle swung again, and then a third time. How many of these would it take before the wooden beast crumpled? He hung on by the hilt of his sword grimly as the dragons head swung around, needing to find exactly the right moment to do this. Waiting… waiting… there! As the dragon paused to blast the water at Christophe and Nex, he quickly threw his legs back and then forward, swinging himself on the sword and up, pulling it out in the same motion. He landed on the back of the dragons neck, and as he looked further up it he saw the woman who had been behind the dragon attempting to stab it in the back of the head. He nodded a bit as he was in agreement with what she was doing, as he braced himself against the wood, turning to stare down the body of the dragon. He quickly took a few steps along the neck, swaying them to keep his balance while the dragon moved, and leaped from the neck toward the dragon’s body, twirling his sword around in his hand. Blackness trailed the blade through the air as he slashed it down across the neck of the best just before he leaped, pulling on all the darkness he could inside of him to channel into the attack. Doing so however sent pain shooting through him from the pure evil that his body channeled into the blade, and from the blade into the dragon. He was then in the air, heading straight for the back of the draconic monstrosity. He was completely in the zone now, as if somehow, nothing mattered to him but the battle he was partaking in. Taking down the wooden behemoth was the task he accepted, and he would complete it no matter what, he thought, as his sword slashed into the backside of the dragon as he landed, once more powered by the darkness inside of him. He quickly took a single moment to balance himself before he pivoted on his foot to face the front of the dragon once more, his eyes narrowing as he crouched low on the beasts back. Suddenly, a second later, he leaped forward with all his might, his blade down at his side. He swung the blade up across his chest at the beginning of the leap, the blade shifting, elongating into sections joined by black metal wire as it did so, becoming almost whip like. A faint but very noticeable aura of complete black darkness surrounded him as well, leaving black lines trailing through the air along the dragons back as he moved, his arm snapping the now whip like sword back around in a diagonal slash that trailed evil through the air. It headed straight for the base of the dragons neck, the full force of his leap and the darkness inside of him in that slash, no matter how much it tore up his body to do so. Tso Lan was at a lost for both word and thought. His heart had sunk when the monster had escaped from his icy confinement. however, this sadness had turned to terror when it turned its gaze towards Tso Lan. It was at that second that Tso Lan saw something that he had hoped never to have to see again; an image that had haunted him in only his most private nightmares since that night in Sector 6 so long ago. As Tso Lan gazed up at the dragon, he saw what no man ever wishes to see. He saw his death. Seconds later, his body was crushed and and destroyed by the fury of Nature's wrath. He could feel his ribs crack and his bones break; his flesh tear and his blood burst from his body. Then, within seconds his body was completely entombed in the fibers of plants and trees, almost as if they were accommodating him with his own coffin. Tso Lan's mouth was covered and his already empty lungs were deprived the pleasure of fresh air. His body soon started to burn as glycolosis came into effect. Tso Lan would have laughed if her were able. Glycolosis was the production of energy without oxygen, which produced harmful chemicals in effect. Even on the brink of death, his own cells resisted the ghastly fate. However, Tso Lan knew how this battle would turn out. There was no plans, there were no schemes or greater ideas, and there was no escape. As Tso Lan's head began to feel light and consciousness left him, he closed his eyes and shed a tear. An image of a woman with a bloody face appeared in Tso Lan's mind and his failing heart wrenched. He had ready to die, to pass on into that eternal void. But this woman had been something Tso Lan had never expected. This sole woman, living her life as a prostitute was the sole regret of Tso Lan. With that, Tso Lan's heart beat one last time and his soul returned to the Life Stream forever. |

Before Chris could get a response from the masked man, he got a response from the dragon in the form of a powerful jet of water, striking Chris while his focus was still on the man, knocking him to the ground a fair distance away. Chris scrambled up to his feet and returned his facing towards the dragon and saw a large tree spring up where the masked man stood. "That...I hope is a defensive technique. Otherwise, we're down one man." Chris said, "And on another note, the dragon seems to react to Fire and Thunder with a Water attack. Maybe it doesn't like being hit with either one." Chris then stepped to one side to get a clear line for his next attack. Chris then gave his weapon a fierce, ground-scraping swing, causing an energy wave to roll towards the dragon. Afterwards, Chris immediately ran towards the newly-formed tree, mostly to use it for cover, and partially to see if the masked man had dropped his weapon. However, there was no sign of the man's weapon, likely meaning that it was sealed within the tree. "Now, will this tree still be here when the battle ends?" Chris thought to himself, "And...how much cover can it provide?"

The dragon once again received a barrage of attacks. It was attacked by three lightning strikes from the moogle, three physical slashes by Drathmar and it was stabbed twice by Angeles. Just when it seemed the dragon would attack all of these people, it was attacked by a special attack. This made the dragon kneel down. The dragon roared as it lay on it's belly, and then tried to get back up on it's feet. As the dragon got back up, it jumped high above the ground and tried to shake off the attackers on it. The female became a little worried, and quickened her pace to get closer faster. She hid between two trees and observed the dragon landing with great force. This made cracks form in the ground, and the female quickly climbed up into one of the trees. "This seems to be pretty dangerous. I think I'll just stay here until I'm needed. Yeah, that's a good idea."

Chris's move capped a relatively thorough round of beatings by knocking down the dragon as it was about to launch its counterattack. The dragon then scrambled up to its feet and leaped into the air to shake off those who had tried to climb up on it, landing on the ground hard enough to shake the area around it. However, Chris was far enough away that the shockwave had been dissipated enough to not deal damaging force. Whether he had the tree as cover or not was an unknown factor. "Hmm...I have a feeling that the dragon will do something drastic soon, if it hasn't already." Chris thought to himself as he pulled out one of the Potions he had packed for the battle and looked at it. "Hmm...it says to be poured over the recepient's head." Chris said quietly, then did as the bottle instructed, pouring the contents over his head. He closed his eyes to avoid getting some of the substance in his eyes, otherwise, he would have noticed a light shining around him. Something else in the area might have seen the light coming from behind the tree, however. At any rate, pretty much all of the injury that he had suffered, some to the legs, but most of it closer to the torso, had been healed. He was back to nearly full strength. After that, Chris rushed back into the battle, ready to do some more damage. "Okay, it looks like we're doing some damage to it." Chris called out, "Even though we're down to four for an indefinite amount of time, we can still take the dragon down at this rate!" Chris then delivered another piercing strike at the dragon, hoping that the others will follow suit with the attack.

Angeles held on tightly to her sword buried deep within the dragon’s neck as one attack knocked the thing to the ground. Her effort to sever some sort of special connection within the dragon appeared to have done nothing except normal damage to the thing, which annoyed Angeles slightly and she sighed. But it was no matter, at least she had hurt it. She might as well keep stabbing it while it was down. However, before she could even remove her sword from the wood, the dragon stood up and leapt into the air. Angeles gripped her sword so tightly her knuckles went white, a feat considering that her skin was so pale to begin with. “Hold on to something!” she yelled to the man behind her and braced herself for landing. The impact caused her sternum to smack against the base of the hilt and she almost slid from the dragon’s neck but pulled herself upright against and tried frantically to get some air back in her lungs, “you still on back there?” she yelled looking over her shoulder to see if the man was still on. She turned back around as one of the ones on the ground began yelling encouragement, however some of his words were not the best choice to say and Angeles rolled her eyes slightly. Never let your comrades know that your number is decreasing, “excellent inspiration speech!” she yelled out to the man and carefully slid her sword out of the dragon’s neck and dug her nails into the wood. Lifting herself up so that she was balanced on that one hand before flipping over and straddling the dragon’s snout, facing its ‘eyes.’ “Hello there,” she said, her eyes flashing dangerously before she brought her sword up and thrust it between the dragon’s eyes then held onto the wood as tightly as she could, waiting for the beast’s retaliation.

As the dragon fell to the ground, he balanced on it, his arms out to the sides as he swayed with the movements of the dragon, his white hair flowing all around him as the wind from the large creatures movements whipped against him. His black trench coat brushed against the back of the dragon just below where he had slashed it on the neck. His breathing slowed as he just tried to treat the dragon like the swaying of the wind, or riding an ocean wave. He was able to keep his stance atop the dragon from it falling, though he was not able to attack it at all. He was grinning though, they were definitely damaging this huge beast, he could tell it was in pain… he reveled in it in fact. He also was reveling in the fact that though he had felt the damage to his own body, he had healed it, each hit on the dragon sending the dragon’s life energy into him in a green glow traveling along his sword into him. That was the other reason he had been able to stay on it, he was completely and utterly healed from the strain he had put on himself through draining the dragons life force. He did feel that he would feel any pain more though, felt slightly winded and more susceptible to damage, as if he was a bit weaker in body, but it was not much. Suddenly he felt the wooden body preparing to jump below him, and he quickly whipped is wrist back, drawing the whip-like blade back toward him, the metal pieces slamming together into a long blade once more. That black sword, darkness roiling up the blade like a storm, was raised up above his head. Just as the dragon jumped, he brought the sword down, stabbing it toward the back of the dragon and into it, knowing there was no way for the dragon to stop him, and would hold onto the blade as it dug into the back of the dragon, while setting it feet against its back, and using his great agility to stay on the beast. Hearing the woman, he turned those icy blue orbs onto her in front of him on the neck and he would speak out, even in the yell his voice was soft but frosty. “I am still here” he called out to her, as he quickly pulled himself up. He felt inside of him that darkness roiling, of power inside of him, a feeling he had felt once before but that he recognized immediately. Ignoring the call from the one on the ground, and the fact that one of their number was now gone, he instead pulled on that power inside of him drawing that power and darkness into him. He quickly swung his black blade around his head as darkness suddenly sprang up around him, a dark aura appearing around him, like black flames of hate and death entrapping him, burning around his and swirling against him. As his sword swung around his head, that black aura, those black flames, leaked out along the blade. As he suddenly brought it around in a horizontal slash in front of him, he called out “SHADOW SLASH,” and it seemed as if that darkness rushed from him to the blade all at once. From that slash, all the darkness, all those black flames, that black aura that surrounded him, raced out in a long thing blade of pure darkness toward the base of the dragon’s neck, darkening the area around it. It was as if pure evil flew from him toward the dragon in the shape of a blade sharper than the sharpest steel, as sharp as hate and death itself. A feral grin was on his face as he unleashed that black blade, eyes shining as he waited for the creatures pain.

MOOGLE AWWWWAAAAYYYY!!!

The dragon below Nex really didn’t seem to mind having electricity blasted throughout his entire body. The Moogle’s anger towards the wooden beast was growing as the furry creature JUST realized that the dragon had killed one of them. He wasn’t very quick. The Moogle spun his staff, watching as his fellow Dragon-Slayers went in for another onslaught of attacks on the wooden beast. Before that, the beast had done some sort of weird jumping attack, not that the Moogle really cared BECAUSE HE WAS FREAKING FLYING. The Moogle prepared to fly down and slam his staff on the beast’s head when he asked himself, “What was the point?” Going down there was pointless when he’d probably just get eaten. Besides, there were already like three sword users down there, Nex might as well stay up top and keep throwing electricity down at the beast. Preparing for another attack, the Moogle took in a breath and then shouted, “THUNDER!” and then swung his staff three times. Three electric balls of magical energy flew towards the beast. Nex was starting to wonder if the wooden reptile was ever going to attack him, as this fight so far had been quite easy for the Moogle. Then again, he WAS flying up in the air, so it is a bit unfair. The dragon was now getting even angrier, and it grew tired of the relentless electrical damage it received from above, and it stood up on it's hind legs. This made the dragon about 100 meters high, and just about good enough to attack the source of this pain. The dragon was able to face Nex, and then opened it's mouth. The attack originating from the mouth of the dragon was a fierce and gigantic blast of water. It seemed like the dragon had used Wataga about seven times, all aimed towards Nex. The blast spread pretty wide, thus the damage the moogle would get was minimal in proportion to the energy the dragon spent on it. However, there were the issue with the needles piercing the dragon as well. As the dragon fell back down on all four legs, it rolled around, hoping to crush any insignificant threat that may be on it. As it did so, it used it's mighty power over the ground to create spikes all around the area. It seemed like it took as much energy as 10 Fissaga, and it showed that the dragon could bear such a feat easily. As well as using the earth, the dragon shot out 3 Wataga to intercept any person that might jump off it, or the ground. The female decided for herself that this was the time to help out, and thus she walked out between all the spikes on the field. She moved like she was made for grace, which she probably was, and when she was close enough, she asked the first person she met if that person needed any help. She said that they seemed pretty injured. She would treat them if they needed it, but if they didn't, she would just watch the rest of the fight. She also mentioned that it was sad what happened to the guy that was encased in the tree. But she thought he looked prettier now, though.

Chris watched as the dragon reared up. "Uh oh...looks like I was right in that it was going to do something drastic." Chris said, then made a mad dash away from the dragon and to Chris's right. Chris didn't see what was going on, but he did soon see what part was aimed at him: A spike of earth suddenly shot up and struck him hard, knocking him back towards the dragon and onto the ground. "Ow...That left a mark." Chris said as he got up to his feet after the attack, "Good thing I took out that potion beforehand. Otherwise, I wouldn't be getting up from that." Soon after, another figure entered the battlefield. She had seen that attack strike the group and offered for assistance. "Yeah, We're going to need it, so long as you can do so without having to pull us out of the fight." Chris replied, "As it stands, we can't let up on this thing for even a second." Chris decided to stay at his spot, in case the young lady needed him to stay at his location, then sent another Storm Fang at the dragon. Chris then continued, "Of course, The guy with the whip-sword can heal himself pretty well, so you only have to worry about me and the other two."

Angeles quickly held tightly to the snout of the dragon as it reared up and opened its mouth. She dug her nails into the wood as the dragon attacked the flying creature. She grumbled and tried to push herself up but the dragon then suddenly the dragon rolled. She didn’t react in time as she had been holding too tightly to the wood to jump off and was crushed against the ground; cracking sounds broke the air and the breath was knocked out of her and she laid unmoving in the grass. She tried to move but grunted and closed her eyes. She opened them again and forced a small amount of air into her lungs, a very small amount that barely made a sound. Finally she pushed herself up and groaned, “that hurt,” then she pushed herself up to her feet wrapping an arm around her stomach, she looked up and noticed that her ninjato was still stuck in the snout of the dragon. That, combined with how injured she was she was now practically useless in the battle. Angeles gnashed her teeth and backed away from the dragon wondering what she could do, and really wished that she had a materia. She however overheard someone speaking and she turned to look at a strange feline woman. However she didn’t have time to think too deeply into and asked in a husky voice, “are you a healer?”

Vampiric Bitch

His eyes narrowed as the dragon stood up, but he kept his balance by wrapping his arm around a protruding piece of wood from the tree dragon. He watched it send out the attack at Nex, that annoying little moogle who was too naive for his own good, and narrowed his eyes. For some reason watching the moogle being attacked pissed him off, even worse than he already was. It was almost as if, even though he had used him and the white fluffy dude had accused him, he thought of him as a friend. Well, really, eh was the closest thing he had ever had anyway, after that flying hug he had gotten. Suddenly, the dragon came back down, and it seemed, well, quite pissed off about the attacks from those on his back. It rolled, but luckily, he was quick enough to jump off, up, and away from it. On the other hand, not so lucky, as a moment later he was slammed by a blast of water that tossed him to the ground, barely missing one of the spikes as he rolled across the dirt, slamming into the side of one of the spike to come to a stop. He groaned a bit as it felt as if he was bruised over every inch of his body, and his shoulder seemed to be… dislocated. He still somehow grasped his sword however in that hand, and his other one rested now against the ground as he pushed off of it, forcing himself first to his knees, then slowly pushing himself further up onto his feet. He wobbled as he made it to his feet, though he didn’t seem to notice. His ice blue orbs were cold with rage, and they seemed like they should turn the dragon into ice where he stood as he stared at the wooden giant. His breath came out in labored, painful pants, as he moved to stand next to one of the spike. While gritting his teeth, he quickly slammed his shoulder against it, and popped his shoulder back into place, with a yell of pain. His breathing came faster now from that moment of pain that had shot through him when he had popped his shoulder back, but he ignored it, instead he used that arm to now raise his sword above his head. As he did so, that dark aura from before sprang up around him again as he pulled at the darkness inside of him, drawing out the evil, the mercilessness, everything he had that he could channel into the attack at the dragon, every bit of darkness he had, even as he felt it pulsing through him and increasing his pain. Suddenly, his hand came down, all the darkness that leaked from him flowed into the blade in his hand as he called out. “SHADOW SLASH!” The darkness left the sword in the form of a blade, that dark blade slashing up into the air toward the head of it the dragon while it seemed to darken the air it passed through, the blade moving quickly toward the side of that head. They might have pissed the dragon off, but not, he was pissed, and he was going to bring this dragon down even if it killed him to do so. That was why, moments after the dark blade left his sword, he was running straight toward the body of the dragon, and coiling the muscles in his legs. He forced himself to ignore the pain his body was in, even though it was pulsing through him. Just as he was about to leap at the thing to attack though, that pain shooting through him seemed to grow harsher and caused him to stumble and fall to one knee. He growled as he stared up at the dragon, then turned hearing a strange voice. As the woman approached he sneered and shook his head. “No, I am quite alright.”

MOOGLE AWWWWAAAAYYYY!!!
|
Nex was a little confused as the wooden dragon stood on it’s hind legs and then leapt about 100 meters in the air. He was a little confused because the dragon was about six times as high in the air as he was. His confusion only grew as the dragon opened it’s mouth and seemed to fire the whole fucking ocean at the Moogle. He would have tried to avoid it had the attack actually been dodge able, like, at all. But, it wasn’t, as the blast seem to spread for ages, so Nex simply let out a sigh, and put his staff in his leather strap. The water hit him, and he felt like he was actually underwater it was such a powerful force. The Moogle broke free of any water, and then hit the ground with a thud, letting out a groan. He didn’t move for a moment, as the amount of pain the Moogle was currently in was far too great for him to immediately get up and start moving around. He felt the ground rumble as the dragon landed, and luckily Nex wasn’t hit by any surrounding earth damage as he had been blow far enough away to avoid it. Then, quite a lot of spikes shot up, and Nex slowly stood, letting out a groan of pain. Raising his staff, he restored a bit of his physical energy, and then slowly floated up into the air. He noticed some weird cat lady talking to two of the humans or whatever, but he was too busy focusing on the target in front of him. The dragon. He let out a sigh, and then focused his magical energies, and hurled a Thunder at the beast. “DIE, VILE BEAST, DIE!” HP: 126/206 MP: 22/82 |

The dragon didn't notice the attacks that were being launched at it now, it was more interested in the new appearance. Once the dragon found out that she wasn't interesting it started walking on towards Kalm. "I'll try to heal you two, then." The lady said with a voice that sounded like it came from nature itself. She glowed green and floated slightly off the ground, and then two slim threads seemed to shoot out from her body. Those two threads were colored green, and they pierced the body of Chris and Angeles. It seemed like a green thread formed between those two as well, and then the threads started pulsing. The two people being healed could feel nature coming into them and flying through their veins. The whole ordeal was over within half a minute, but for the people involved it might feel more like an hour. The dragon was just starting to move when the threads retracted into the woman again. "I guess I'll just watch you. I've used most of my energy to heal you two, so you better not get hurt again. Fight with the blessing of nature." The dragon was moving pretty slow towards Kalm, but would arrive in about four minutes. The village was being evacuated, but they needed at least ten minutes to get everybody out.

Doesn't particularly like the Art of Fighting, but definitely wants to be the King of Fighters.

The newcomer used a technique that involved creating a circuit of sorts through her, Chris, and the one remaining partner who Chris did not know by name, and sending energy through it. The whole process took all of thirty seconds, but during that time, the dragon restarted its advance towards the town, seemingly ignoring the two fighters that were still on it. Once the process was complete, most, but not all of the damage from the earth spike was healed. "Thank you." Chris said, "However, I'd better hurry up to catch that thing." Chris then rushed at full speed at the dragon. "I'd better hurry, and hopefully we can take it down, or at least near death, before it reaches the town." Chris said. However, Chris soon caught up to the dragon. Chris didn't stop for a second, and quickly launched into a series of piercing strikes towards the dragon. One, two, three strikes. Hopefully it would do a good amount of damage to the dragon.

Angeles looked at the beam of green light that flowed between her, the man, and the cat woman. She looked at her hands when the light faded away and watched as the man ran off towards the dragon. Angeles looked at the cat woman and nodded, “I wish you could help, but if your energy is exhausted you should probably rest. Hopefully this will be over soon.” Angeles then turned and ran after the dragon. She was still injured, so she knew she’d have to be careful. But she couldn’t do anything without her sword. She had to get back on the dragon, or at least get to its head to get her sword back. She had to protect her hometown from the dragon. “I think we’re wearing it down,” she thought out loud, “it’s moving much slower than before, we just have to keep it up. I really need my sword though, it’s a shame I’m so useless without it,” she stopped and thought. Turks were known for stealth and cunning. It was ridiculous that a short surgery and a few months changed so much in her mind, she’d have to get back into the practice of meditating and exercising her brain. She shook her head in disappointment with herself. “It has to have a weakspot,” it has to have one, think Angeles. Think.

MOOGLE AWWWWAAAAYYYY!!!

Once again, Nex’s magical attacks did not go to waste, and the dragon was hit with the electrical ball of energy. However, the dragon continued to move towards Kalm, tired with the pesky little beasts that were raining death upon it. Well, Nex was going to do all he could in order to stop the beast! He pulled back his staff, and focused his magical energies. Then, he swung his staff three times, each time firing down a little electric ball that would deal death and destruction to the dragon. After this, he floated down to the ground, breathing heavily, feeling that all of his magical energies were gone. He couldn’t do much now. He let out a sigh, and then floated back up into the air, and landed on top of the beast. He pulled his staff up, and then swung it down at the beasts head, and then again. He would stay there and continue to slam his iron staff into the dragon’s head until the wooden dragon knocked him off. He was determined to take down this vile beast, and even if it pained him, he’d save the lives of the people in Kalm. FOR HE… WAS A VALIANT MOOGLE MAGE! HP: 126/206 MP: 4/82 |

The dragon was being beat down on by the defenders of Kalm. Luckily, some people from Kalm had been smart enough to start a fire to kill the giant beast. The dragon walked right into it, oblivious to the fact that it was fire, and that it was made of wood itself. The damage done to it by the valiant fighters had worn it down so much that it didn't have much mental abilities left. As the dragon died, colorful streaks of light emerged from it, whooshing through all in the area. This seemed to have an effect on certain people, while others were untouched. As the dragon burned, small green orbs rolled out of the burning wood. They were completely cool, and they seemed to emit a power from nature. The men from Kalm offered the orbs to the fighters.
