I don't want to approve these but my gut says I probably should. As such they are approved unless a Mod has anything to say about them. |

Note sure if you meant this to be a tech, LB, or ability as it seems the name and which is was got cut off. Either way though you won't get it approved because Gin tried to get this:
And was told no, because it use to be a board wide that Cloud thought was too easily abused and so he had to scrap it. This:
Has 1/4th approval though. Edited by Drathmar, Oct 12 2009, 06:50 AM.

.4 + .4 + .4 + .4 = 1.6x damage. Change it to 3.5x and I'm find with it though. |

Power of Spirit Description: The spirit is a powerful thing. It's almost physical.....Well, in this case it is physical. Requirements: 50 spirit, 50 Magic, 25 Casting Effect: allows Saeta to create a barrier thats durability is equal to Saeta's spirit stat. The barrier takes cumulative damage per turn but is reset to the strength of the spirit stat at the begging of each post. If the barrier is broken it can not be created again for another three posts. Cost:15 MP to activate, 5 MP to maintain Edited by Haine, Oct 27 2009, 09:06 PM.

Why are you using magic, casting and intelligence and NOT spirit? If its based on the spirit stat and requires you to have a strong spirit, wouldn't that make sense? I'd put the requirements at Magic 50, Spirit 50, Casting 25 Otherwise that works, though there are other ways to do it, maybe approach it by having it be one shield that doesnt reappear after being shattered, instead it's total resistance is = some multiplier with the spirit stat. |

Did you know that L's love donuts?

I'm sorry, I might be a little slow but if I understand this correctly It works like this: Turn 1: Barrier has XX strength and takes Y damage. And then has XX - Y damage for the rest of tha turn. And Y is added to Z. Turn 2: Barrier is reset to XX and takes Y damage again and the process repeats. Once Z is equal to or greater than XX the barrier breaks. Is that right? |

I think it means this. Barrier has 100 strength for 15 MP. He takes 99 damage. Barrier is at 1 strength. Next turn he maintains the barrier for 5 MP. The barrier is back at 100 strength. He takes 99 damage again. Barrier is reduced to 1 strength. Next turn he pays 5 MP and barrier is back at 100 strength. So on and so forth. Which is why I'm saying no, increase it to 15 and 10 MP and I would be ok with it. |

It breaks when the damage it absorbs exceeds its strength correct? And the damage builds for every attack correct? so if one attack does fifty, and another attack does another fifty, the barrier breaks correct? |

He has a barrier. If it gets hit, damage is done to it. If it does not break, it's restored to full power at the end of the turn. That's simple enough. |

This move will allow your character to avoid putting any points into Agility. Instead, you'd redistribute your focus to Spirit and practically make an auto-dodge system for yourself, but of course in a legal way (that's actually better than the board-wide dodge system). Cloud's already done something very similiar, so yeah, consistency says this is alright. Angel's is actually stronger in my opinion anyway. 1/2 approval. Edited by Kenny, Oct 30 2009, 01:14 AM.
