Resident Bad-ass
|
Pending Abilities Name: Dark Awakening Description: The tip of NightShade's tail opens and spills out a dark mist. This mist begins to encompass the user and his opponent causing darkness around them. The power of the mist taps into the opponents mind and begins to place them into past memories of pain, sorrow, fear or hatred (opponent picks). These memories play out normally but are altered in a way to make it seem as though instead of what actually caused the above feeling it was truly caused by NightShade. Nightshade's Spirit Stat represents the power of the Illusion. Every 1 point over 55% alignment the target has increases their Spirit Stat against the Illusion. If the user's Spirit stat is higher than the Illusion power by 10% (If the Illusion power is 100, they have to be 10 points higher) the Illusion wont work on them. If their Intelligence is higher than the Illusions Power then they wont believe the Illusion. Requirements: Failed Experiment (Diabolos-implanted Clone), Minimum of 25 points in spirit and intelligence. Effect: The effect of the illusion is based off what feeling the opponent faces. Here is a list and the effect that follow: Pain: The opponent is immobilized by the reoccurring thought of pain they have went through allowing NightShade one free attack upon them. Sorrow: The opponent drops to their knees in tears feeling helpless and begging for NightShade's forgiveness. The battle then ends at this point with one last reply from NightShade. Hatred: The opponent is succumbed to a blind rage, raising their strength and endurance stats by 5% but lowering all other stats by 15% Fear: The opponent is taken over by an immense fear, raising their speed and agility stats by 5% but lowering all other stats by 15% Cost: None but can only be used once per battle. It needs to be resistable and avoidable by some means. Also a cost would be required since you are creating something from within yourself. And Tony is right that this seems like a Technique based on an Ability. I suggest making this a Technique and then making an Ability that allows the creation of Illusions. That way you can create MANY Illusions off of that one ability. |
