Pending Abilities Pending Techniques Pending Limit Breaks Pending Items --- Approved Traits Name: Bird is the word Description: Similar to the Leonine Trait "No thumbs for you" Chocobos do not have thumbs, and sadly cannot operate most equipment that requires thumbs. They can however use devices created for and especially for Large bipedal birds. Requirements: Failed Experiment Effect: Can only use specially made technology crafted for Chocobos Cost:none Name:Gold Chocobo FTW?! Description: Chocobos are large and fast birds with clawed talons and strong legs. Humans have often used them as beasts of burden, and racing creatures in times past. With this ability a chocobo can move unhindered across any terrain it faces. Effect: Can cross Zolom Swamp by foot Name: Pink Chocobo Description: A pink chocobo is a bird bred especially for Chocobo racing. This puts an emphasis on speed and agility over endurance and strength. As such these birds are faster but don't do well in the long run. Requirements: Failed Experiment Effect: +15 to Speed and Agility -5 Endurance - 5 Strength Name: War Chocobo Description: Due to the experiments, this chocobo has been taught how to wield a weapon along side its rider. This way increasing the number of attacks the two together can make. The downside is that really stupid chocobos were born because of this trait. Much to the dissapointment of Shinra executives. Requirements: Failed Experiment Effect: +10 Weapon Skill -5 Intelligence Cost:None The Night-time is my time Description: The Widow Queen is creature of Darkness Requirements: Widow Queen (FE) Effect: Receives 20% more damage from Holy and Fire, 1% more damage from being kicked. Cost: None Flush of Youth Description: How does she keep those great looks? Requirements: Effect: A Widow Queen will age half a year every thread. However, she learns from the ways of the vampires, and by drinking PC blood she restores her Age to 18 Cost: None Speech of the Queen Description: Her words of leadership inspire! Requirements: Effect: all allied Characters have deal 10% more damage and protects allies from Berserk, confuse, and other mental status ailments Cost: None Abilities Approved Abilities Name: Second Chance Description: You are very lucky. You survive things other people die from, and walk away from your death bed on a regular basis. Requirements: End 50 Spirit 50 Effect: If damage received is enough to KO your character, it instead puts them at 1 hp. This ability can only be used once a thread. Cost:none Smart Shot Description: Sometimes, you know just where to shoot. Requirements: 50 Gun skill, 100 Intelligence Effect: Add Intelligence to Damage when using a gun. Cost: None Name: S Race Class Chocobo Description: A racing chocobo by nature is a creature quick on its feet. Its always had to get the lead in a race or else fall behind. Chocobos have to be ready to burst into speed at any moment, and especially when the flag comes down. Requirements: Failed Experiment Effect: Auto Haste at the start of battle (Haste as per level 1 materia) Cost:None Horse and Jockey Description: Chocobos are able to carry riders on their backs without any penalties. Requirements: Chocobo Effect: Reduce the weight of a rider by 1/4 Cost: None Seductive Speech Description: Her words...are sooo...alluring...@.@ Requirements: Charm, Spirit 50 Effect: A Widow Queen can Seduce victims with 40% less Spirit. Seduced victims will willing allow a Widow Queen to suck their blood Cost: None Create Poisoned Heart Description: A Widow Queen can create a unique Servant out of a willing individual. They must first proceed through a ritual where she drinks almost all of their blood, and then they drink from her. Requirements: Charm, Seductive Speech, Spirit 70, Magic 50 Effect: Gives another willing PC the Poisoned Heart Ability. Cost: None Careful Spending Description: ?You know just how to use your MP. By focusing one's magical energy into the barrel of their gun, they can shoot without bullets. Requirements: Speed 25 Agility 25 Intelligence 30 Effect: Leave thread, or relocate out of melee range and restores MP Cost:none Approved Items Cell Phone w/ Chocobo Bluetooth Description: A Cell Phone of some of the most advanced qualities. It's appearance is up to you, but keep it realistic (Phones are as advanced as we have IRL). The phones have many capabilities including Email, Camera, Voice Recorder and even a Video recorder. Sadly the memory isn't that great so the Video Recorder can only hold five minutes. This Phone is altered so that A chocobo can use it, having voice commands instant of buttons and a head set. Weight: 0 Effect: For all your Cell Phone needs Cost: None Sword XX196 Description:[Hands:2] This is a large beastly sniper rifle. It is designed with a very long barrel for an increased range and accuracy advanatage. The designer of the gun has left his mark in the side of the barrel; an Engraving left by Markus Sword. Strength/Durability: 25 Materia Slots: 0 Material: Mithril Weight: 5 Cost: 1450 Bahamut's Breath V .1 Description: A set of bullets that are specially made. The bullet's head has a separate set of of propulsion. After being fired, the bullet head's seal will melt and it will errupt into a beam of white hot energy. Weight: 3 Effect: Ten Bullets; Deal 20 base damage each. Cost: 400 Bahamut's Breath V .2 Description: A set of bullets that are specially made. The bullet's head has a separate set of of propulsion. Might want to fix your bold font thing in the thread. As for the trait... what exactly would it allow her to do? Explain this branch of magic. XD Also, the Limit Break you have is looking more like an Ability than a Limit Break. |

*shrugs* Iunno, it just sounded like a good idea. Ultimus Arcanum will be a short list of spells that deal damage and status ailments. Is that any good? I'm completely open to suggestions. Godless - Magic + intelligence = Damage and blind Blade Net - Magic + intelligence = Damage and silence Phantasm - Magic + intelligence = Damage and Fear Asura - Magic + intelligence = Damage and Petrify How is that for a limit break then? I'm curious as to how the Accessory would be useful if he can't use Materia XD Also... you basically are making a way to use Techniques to create your own spells then? That's really nifty idea XD But please make all your requests in format and state how much damage the spell does. EX: Damage from spell is equal to Magic stat Edited by Cloud, Mar 21 2009, 02:39 PM.

I think im worth more than 1/4 *stamp of approval* I didnt notice the abilities. What I would like to see in them is more OOP detail. Is the haste just a burst for the beginning, or are you in haste all the time? If it never goes away than I would feel happier with a set boost to agility that the leonines have. Also as when people are riding you they should be treated as an object. Meaning that you should be able to carry not only them, but all their stuff. This ability as is will allow you to carry someone with 300 weight of armor a weapon, and a backpack full of stuff with your beginning 5 str. You could probably get away with reducing the weight of the person by a fraction (I would say between 1/4 and 1/2), but it still must be accounted for. Edited by Panda Bard, Mar 23 2009, 10:20 PM.

All right lets look at these. So basically you get one more post to try and heal or escape. Sounds alright, +1/4
This one needs more requirements. I would say making it so you need at least 20 in magic and gun skill, just to make things balanced.
The Limit Break looks cool to me. +1/4

i think all but the limit break need higher requirements. Second Chance: though the effect isn't that great if you look in the rules under "numbers explained" you will see that with the stats you chose that you would have below average abilities. I would think it would require at least above average which would be 50 in Spirit and Endurance. Also i think there needs to be some limit to it to. i mean you are not going to get hit for 500 damage by a fire ball and still be like "i still have 1 HP!" MP Shot: *points to grey's post* Limit break looks good 1/2+1/4+1/4=1 whole so the limit break is approved |

I editted MP Shot. I editted the requirements for second chance, There already is a limit to it. One can only use it once per thread. If an Enemy is truly that overpowering than they shouldn't have a problem killing a weakened opponent with only one hit point. Plus, if I'm upping the requirements, It should have at least the effect I've stated, shouldn't it? You yourself said that in the end the ability isn't that great.
