Abilities
Name: Ki Flight (Level 2)
Description: Through training with flight, Sam has discovered how to channel his energy more effectively in his body. By sending it towards the ground from various parts of his body he’s able to gain more speed with less energy. This also lessens the amount of energy needed in order to remain airborne. This is a big improvement to how he flew before, which was primarily sending as much energy at the ground as possible to keep from falling.
Requirement: Endurance 30; Spirit 20; Must have learned Ki Flight
Effect: Allows Sam to fly equal to his speed through the air. Replaces Ki Flight.
Cost: 1 MP for every Speed/10; Minimum 1 MP to float.

Name: Ki Flight (Level 3)
Description: After flying for extended periods of time, Sam has discovered the key points in his body needed to remain airborne. By channeling his energy to these exact points he can remain airborne longer with less energy.
Requirement: Endurance 70; Spirit 50; Speed 30; Must have learned Ki Flight (Level 2)
Effect: Allows Sam to fly up to equal his speed through the air. Replaces Ki Flight (Level 2).
Cost: 1 MP for every Speed/20; Minimum 1 MP to float.

Name: Perfect Ki Flight
Description: Through focus and concentration, Sam has discovered the secret to flying. From a human’s standpoint that is. It doesn’t take much energy to maintain flight; just the smallest amounts can achieve the greatest results. And if you are able to channel the energy around, then you don’t have to use your own. By learning how to channel the small amounts of energy surrounding him, Sam has discovered that he can actually fly without trouble.
Requirement: Endurance 120; Spirit 100; Speed 70; Must have learned Ki Flight (Level 3)
Effect: Allows Sam to fly equal to his speed through the air. Replaces Ki Flight (Level 3).
Cost: None

Name: Heart of the Monk
Description: Through focus and concentration, you have begun to discover the true essence of the monk. By clearing your mind and opening up your spirit, your body has begun to respond quicker than before. Your fists are finding weak points easier. Your body is able to avoid attacks better. Your entire being reacts faster than humanly possible.
Requirement: Hand-to-Hand 70; Endurance 100; Fist of the Monk; Heart of the Monk
Effect: Increases accuracy of Hand-to-Hand combat by 50% when unarmed; and increases dodge by 50% when not wearing armor.
Cost: None

Name: Soul of the Monk
Description: You have discovered the ultimate technique of the monk. The ability to fuse more Materia into your body, and the ability to use them more efficiently. You have found you can place more Materia in your arms and chest, as well as a few in your legs. With them being so close to your body, you have discovered how to channel your energy directly into them and release their power more efficiently than before.
Requirement: Mind of the Monk; Heart of the Monk
Effect: Place two additional linked Materia in your chest, a linked Materia in both arms, and two unlinked Materia in your legs (Total now 10). Materia in the body now take 1MP less per Materia level (Example: Mastered Fire Materia- Fire 5MP; Fira 10MP; Firaga 21MP)

Techniques
Name: Aura Sight
Description: After learning about the aura that he generates, Sam has discovered a new aspect of his ki. By focusing on a specific person(s), he can link his aura to theirs even if they have no visible aura. This allows them to communicate as if in a white room no matter how far apart they are, and allows them to create big plans in a matter of seconds. However a side effect of this technique is that with the auras linked everything is revealed. The forms of the people linked are effectively a figure generated by their aura, and thus leaves them naked to the full view of others. Also, every technique, ability, and power is also known by all parties; meaning no secrets are kept (can‘t be used to learn the ability/technique unless actually taught in Aura Sight). With this no lies can be spoken, though creative truth telling has no adverse effects. For every hour that’s spent talking in this technique, only a minute passes in the real world. Sam can also force this technique on another person if they’re unwilling, however it takes much more energy and Sam is the only one to know the secrets.
Requirement: Spirit 25; Magic 60
Effect: Allows communication between Sam and others in a matter of seconds. Can be forced on others if their spirit<Sam’s magic.
Cost: 10MP normal; 20MP forced

Name: Ki Strike
Description: Through practice with channeling his energy into his entire body, Sam has discovered how to transfer all that energy into his fist. By focusing his Ki Burst into his fist, Sam can transfer all the energy into his fist and release it as a blast towards the target. This blast incorporates all the increases in his physical stats into a single attack, and he can launch this attack at a distance like his Ki Blast. This drains the power of the Ki Burst, and can’t be used again for a long time. Ki Burst is also temporarily unavailable, though it does come back much sooner than this technique.
Requirement: Ki Blast; Ki Burst (Level 2)
Effect: Fires a Ki Blast using all of the bonus stats together in Ki Burst (the bonuses, not the enhanced stats themselves). Travels at the enhanced speed with the enhanced accuracy. Disables Ki Burst for 2 posts, and can’t be used for 10 posts. Can’t be used in Ki Burst Perfect.
Cost: Cost of the Ki Burst used (Max 25MP)

Name: DNA Fusion
Description: By watching Nex and Lini perform their fusion, Sam has discovered a way to duplicate it using auras. By literally melding his aura together with another aura, Sam can fuse the bodies together on the DNA level. This fusion results in a completely new form that possesses the physical abilities, characteristics, and memories of both forms. This fused form is of one mind as it is of one body, and is able to use techniques of both forms or even combine techniques if they are compatible. This fusion is only temporary however, and can only last a number of posts equal to the combined spirit of both people (combined spirit/10). It also stops working if the fused person’s MP reaches 10% or lower.
Requirement: Aura Sight; 80 Spirit
Effect: Fuses Sam with a humanoid on the DNA level (Humanoid means human, Mako-enhanced human, Sephiroth clones, Angeal clone, Genesis clone, and SOME failed experiments). The new form takes on the appearance of both (when gender becomes an issue, whoever has the highest spirit). Stats increase by half of the weaker stat (Example: Sam has 50 Strength and Chris has 100. The new stat is now 125). Skills that have no stat add no bonus (Example: Sam has 50 Hand-to-hand and Chris has 0. Stat remains 50). Each person chooses a maximum of 5 abilities from their character to add to the mix (Total 10). Can use all techniques known by either character, and can fuse 2 techniques together (Limit 1 each). Can’t use Materia in this form, and armor and accessories become unusable except for clothing. Lasts for enhanced Spirit/10 in rounds, or until the enhanced MP reaches 10% or less. All HP and MP are restored upon fusion, and damage is split evenly when separated. Posting alternates between the two, starting with the second person (since Sam initiates the fusion). Can only be used once per thread, and the other person has to be willing.
Cost: 20MP

Name: Ki Lightning Strike
Description: While changing his energy into lightning, Sam can transfer the extra energy into his speed for a brief moment. This boost in speed allows him to move much quicker than normal, giving him the power to deliver a strike faster than most people can see. However this boost in energy takes all the energy while in Ki Burst, draining it for a short time before it can be used again.
Requirements: Ki Aura (Lightning); Speed 50
Effect: Increases Sam’s speed while in Ki Burst by an additional 20%, 40%, or 60% depending on the Ki Aura (Lightning) level; until he hit’s a target with his fist. Deals lightning hand-to-hand damage. Ki Burst ends and can’t be used for 1 post.
Cost: 5MP

Name: Ki Ice Shield
Description: When changing his energy into ice, Sam can gather the energy into his hands and create a shield of ice. The shield is able to take one attack before shattering, protecting Sam and anyone else that might be affected by the attack. This shield also can reflect energy based attack (magic) back at the target before shattering, and can stop even piercing attacks. However this shield takes all the energy while in Ki Burst, draining it for a short time before it can be used again.
Requirements: Ki Aura (Ice); Magic 60; Endurance 60
Effect: Creates a shield of ice that blocks one attack or reflects energy. Can’t be pierced, and ends Ki Burst. Ki Burst then can’t be used for 1 post.
Cost: 5MP

Name: Ki Flare Arrow
Description: By changing his aura into that of fire, Sam can channel that energy into his fist like Ki Blast. However unlike Ki Blast, this energy changes into an arrow that looks like a large spike of flames on Sam’s fist. He can launch this arrow at a target, allowing it to pierce through any kind of protection they might have save physical (ability, technique, armor, etc). However the arrow looses power with every barrier pierced, reducing the damage. This technique takes all the energy while in Ki Burst, draining it for a short time before it can be used again.
Requirements: Ki Aura (Fire); Magic 70; Spirit 50
Effect: Allows Sam to fire a flaming arrow at a target. Pierces all defenses except natural (armor, techniques, ability, magic, etc), but looses 10% of total damage per barrier. Deals fire magic; fire magic x1.5; or fire magic x2 depending on the Ki Aura (Fire) level. Ki Burst ends and can’t be used for 1 post.
Cost: 5MP

Name: Ki Earth Armor
Description: Changing his aura into that of the earth element, Sam can harden it to act as a piece of armor to protect or a weapon to strike. It’s still flexible as pure energy, however anything can’t touch him because of the density of it. This gives him protection against most physical attacks, as well as gives him more power to his strength for one post. However this boost in energy takes all the energy while in Ki Burst, draining it for a short time before it can be used again.
Requirements: Ki Aura (Earth); Endurance 70; Spirit 50
Effect: Increases Sam’s Endurance and Strength by 25%, 50%, or 100% depending on the Ki Aura (Earth) level. Ki Burst ends and can’t be used for 1 post.
Cost: 5MP

Your Ki Flights seem off to me. Level 2 would cost 10 MP per turn to go full Speed, while Level 3 would cost 20 MP per turn, I believe. Seems kinda backwards to me.

Perfect Flight is approved.

Heart of the Monk is approved.

Soul of the Monk...fine except for the cost decreases. See the announcement about Half MP for details on why your version is not acceptable.

Aura Sight = approved.

Ki Strike = approved.

Fusion needs a higher MP cost. See Lini and Nex's version for recommendations thereof.

Everything else seems fine except for Ice Shield. I don't like that it can effectively block any attack regardless of its power. It needs some sort of limit.

Actually the speed on the flight is correct. I'll use 100 speed as an example. 100/10 = 10 MP per post. 100/20 = 5 MP per post. So the flight is actually improving. Fusion is a work in progress, however it's primarily a last resort technique. But if you believe it needs a higher MP, then I'll have to begin investing in ethers just in case. As for the shield, that takes a lot of energy to pull off to begin with. Minimum 5MP for Ki Burst, 10MP for the aura, and another 5MP for the technique. *counts them* Oh, right. That's only 20MP. I'll change the description and effect a bit.

You don't have the Flights worded that way though. You have 'for every Speed/10' and 'for every Speed/20'.

Using 100 as an example, that means that in the first case, every 1 MP allows you to go at 10 Speed (1:10, 2:20, 3:30, etc.).

Whereas with the second one, every 1 MP only affords you 5 Speed out of 100 (1:5, 2:10, 3:15, etc.).

I see your intention there, but you need to reword it or you'll end up getting screwed, trust me.
