Stats Statements in italics have to do with advanced points of each stat. Life Forces The two life forces, Stamina and Chakra. It is possible to run out of either, but running out of both leads to death. Chakra – Chakra is an energy that circulates through the body and regulates body processes. The Chakra Circulatory System is the organ system that allows it to do such, centering at the stomach. Chakra is the rudimentary base of life and all living things have it in some sense. Chakra is also the fundamental energy used in any and all ninja techniques. Chakra is linked directly to energy a person has processed in their body, as it is created by that energy. If you run out of chakra, your body will attempt to make it, however if you have no energy left, your body will fail. Once per thread, you can focus your body's recently gained energy in to chakra, restoring 10 chakra. This can only be done once. Stamina – Your body’s natural energy, the compliment of chakra. This is, biologically speaking, the stuff you get from processing food. It is the building blocks of your body, fats, lipids, proteins and nucleic acids. Take damage and your body will try to repair itself. Take too much damage and your body will be unable to repair itself. If your body runs out of building blocks, it will attempt to break down parts of your body to keep you alive using chakra, but if you have no chakra at that point, you are effectively a corpse. When you are out of stamina, your body will convert 1 chakra in to 1 stamina until you run out of chakra if your willpower is high enough for you to stay conscious. Your physical stats will also be reduced by 70% while in this state. If you are hit with a non-fatal blow that is greater than a quarter of your stamina in this state, you will pass out. If both chakra and stamina reach 0, you die. Governing Stats Governing stats are the stats that everyone has. They are what make up your body. Having a 0 in any of these effectively makes you handicapped, mentally or physically. Charisma – This, unlike common thought, does not mean you’re talkative or outgoing. Someone who has charisma is simply someone who has personality. Someone with no charisma is a rather dull person with little to no life or creativity to them. The more charisma you have, the stronger your personality is and the stronger you can portray it, regardless of what that personality is. Even a quiet person can have a strong personality. Even those who have strong personalities, with too little charisma they cannot communicate it correctly to others. If your charisma is above 25, you gain a 10% cost reduction in shops. If it is above 50, you gain a 15% reduction. If it is above 100, you gain a 25% reduction. If it is above 200, you gain a 40% reduction. Aptitude – This does not have to deal with how smart you are. It simply has to do with what you know. Aptitude is what you have learned, not how well you can learn it. You can be a naturally brilliant person but not have learned anything. You can also be dumb as a rock but spend hours studying and be more apt in a subject than a ‘genius’ who knows nothing about it. While smarts might give you an advantage, aptitude is what you can use. You can learn 1 jutsu for every 5 aptitude and 1 ability for every 7. Willpower – This is the power of your mind over your body. A trait commonly thought to be stubbornness, a ‘stubborn’ person can have little willpower. This is just how well you can tell your body what to do, whether it be to keep going even when it doesn’t want to or to move its energy to a certain part. It is your mental fortitude, and combined with your physical strength, can be very powerful, but is not only that. To remain standing after your stamina reaches 0, you must have at least 50 will-power. For every 10 past that, you can stay standing for one extra turn. Strength – How strong your body is in all. The stronger you are the more punches you can throw and the more you can take. The more you can lift, the faster you can lift it, all of those wonderful physical things are encompassed in this. A regular attack is as powerful as 25% of your total strength. A successful defense attempt using your body will reduce the damage of an attack by 25% of your total strength. Speed – This has to do with your acceleration and your maximum speed. The faster you are, the faster you can go. However, this has nothing to do with how well you can control yourself. If your agility is below your speed, going full speed means you start to lose a wonderful amount of control that you once had. Speed has to do with big movements. Agility – This has to do with small movements. Agility is how well you can control your body, so in a sense it is like your dexterity. You may not move as fast but at your max speed, your control is at its peak if you focus on this. If your agility is equal to your speed, you can maneuver the same at full speed as you can normally. If it is at least not half of your speed, you can only move full speed in straight lines. Skills Skills are learned things that you don’t need to live. Well, you do in a sense; however they aren’t necessary to be alive. Just to stay alive in some cases. Ninjutsu – The art of ninjutsu is the art of manipulating chakra in to a manifestation outwards. This has to do with your skill in using ninjutsu of varying types and the basic fundamentals that go along with it. Having a high score in this does not make your jutsu powerful, however the higher it is, the more advanced jutsu you can do. Taijutsu – The art of taijutsu is the art of directed combat. This does not make you strong, it just makes you experienced. To be used to battle and to know what to do, to know how to do it and to realize what needs to be done all is encompassed in this. It has to do with fighting styles and different fighting moves. The better you are, the better you are at hand to hand combat. Genjutsu – Genjutsu is the art of illusions. The more skilled you are, the more you know about them. It doesn’t make them stronger, as with ninjutsu, however it does give you the opportunity t make more powerful illusions. Medical – Medical skill is your ability to effectively know about injuries, ailments and pains and know how to treat them. This also can be used in the sense of knowing how to use jutsu to cure them as well. The more skilled you are, the more you can do. Fuinjutsu – Sealing jutsu, or fuinjutsu, is the art of sealing. Whether it be sealing jutsu to a scroll, unlocking someone’s power using a tattoo or sealing a person’s power within them using a cured seal, the more you know about fuinjutsu, the better you are at it. Summoning – Summoning jutsu involves creating a rift between one place in the world and another and drawing them together. Summoning traditionally involves summoning various creatures to help you but is not limited to that. The more you know about summoning, the more creative you can become with it. Hand Sealing – Making hand seals is not only about knowing what the hand seals look like and being able to make them quickly. It is about learning to mold your chakra quickly and precisely in such a way that you have to linger on each seal as little as possible in order to get the wanted effect. So knowing how to quickly do seals won’t help you if you can’t mold the chakra correctly, making this a very necessary skill for most all jutsu types. For every 5 in this stat, you can make one hand seal per turn. Weapon Skill – This is the weapon’s counterpart of taijutsu. Just because you know how to use a weapon does not make you have a strong swing, however having a strong swing can easily be parried by someone who knows how to use the weapon correctly. The more proficient you are with the weapon, the more deadly you are with it. With weapon skill, each stat is allotted to one specific weapon type. Remember that a broadsword and rapier, while both being swords, are invariably very different weapons. Edited by Skyes, Jun 6 2009, 05:37 PM.

Stat Levels 1 - 10 Rank F Child level within a skill. You know about as much as a young child does or are as physically or mentally apt as a child. Akin to making a small flame in your hand. 11 - 25 Rank E Teenager to adult level. Lower on the level is about teenage level while higher up is adult level. You are about as proficient or as physically or mentally apt as a full grown adult. That means if a normal human in our world can't do it, your character can't either. Hitting higher levels of this is along the lines of doing things such as parkour or other things that are within human levels, just need training. This is a level where you can form a fireball. 26 - 50 Rank D Professional adult level. Imagine the strongest man in our world and attribute what they are capable of doing to the higher ups on this level. Able to, given strain, pick up tree trunks and throw them pretty far, breaking through concrete blocks, things like that. Nothing superhuman, just very powerful. This level is where you could either control that fireball basically or make it pretty big. 51 - 90 Rank C Advanced level. If you reach this level, you have gone beyond normal human tolerances. The ability to run at full force for a few miles, able to break through trees with a really focused strong blow, we go beyond the level of what is humanly possible in our world and enter something else. Jumping up 10 feet without using a jutsu is a good example of the kinds of things you are able to do. Multiple large fireballs at once or exceptional control over one is the level of jutsu within this. 90 - 140 Rank B Specialized level. At this level, you have left ‘humanity’ far behind. You can break through rocks with a powerful blow, can jump through the air and flip from tree to tree. You’re fast enough to run at what most people would consider a full sprint, can jump up an entire story, things like that might take focus, but are doable. An uncontrolled firestorm or fire dragon or things of that nature are possible here. 141 – 200 Rank A Master level. Masters take specialization and perfect it. You can move so fast that you are a blur, can punch through metal, can run even with various sharp objects protruding from your body. They can jump up story easily and given focus, can jump up two or three in a good leap and can fall all the way back down without hurting themselves. A completely controlled storm of fire or dragon of fire is around this level. 200 + Rank S Legend level. People who are the talk of legends. They can break through rock walls with a single easy punch and can flick people hundreds of meters with a single finger. They can fall from the top of a huge building and land without stopping themselves only to have a few scratches. They can disappear and appear behind you without you even being able to tell. These are truly legendary people with powers that seem almost to good to be true. Of course, they might not be real. Imagine controlling multiple fire dragons while raining down fire. That's about where you are at this level.
