Well anyways I felt I had to fix this for I originally did it on a cellphone, and I had to update the background to fit better with My current character. You will find some differnces in the traits, but they are all nothing more than fodder and dont really do anything for their effects. Just want people to clarify that they have not changed in the whole, but some names have been modified to fit better with their effects. Link to old Approved FE

Traits Dragonic Aura Description: Once a Hybrid is pushed to their limits, or wills their inner powers outward and upon their powers full release their bodies go through a drastic change. Their appearance changes to take on a more dragon like appearance, and there physical abilities reach new levels. However, with these boosts comes a powerful downside. Requirements: Dragonic Hybrid Experiment.. Effect: To initiate the user uses a great amount of magic to summon the power from deep within, and upon initiation the user heals by 50% of their HP. During this time the users Strength, and Speed are raised by 30%, and The user can also expel fire from there hands and mouth using their magic, (Magic/4= the power and distance in feet.) However, this comes at a great cost as it quickly causes the body to deteriorate lowering the HP by 20 every post until stopped of the user passes out. Cost: The cost to activate this ability is 20% of the users MPs, and every post active lowers the users HP by 20. The each fire blast costs 10 MPs. Overpowered, you can use this during the entirety of an average thread if your character has 200+ HP providing they don’t get hit and I cannot imagined someone with stats boosted that high getting hit very often. Dragonic Enchantment Description: Part of the original discoveries was the energy's unique ability to strengthen other materials and these traits have passed on to the experiment. During this the said weapon will take one a black flame like aura. Requirements: Being a Dragonic Hybrid Experiment, Weapon Degradation. Effect: Using magic the user can strengthen any materials Strength and Durability by the users magic stat/2, and also surrounds the weapon in a black fire like aura. Cost: 5 MP per post active. Again, overpowered. If you had 100 magic, you could make the most powerful weapon on the board with the possibility of it only growing stronger. Dragonic Curse Description: An unforeseen result of the experiment takes a heavy toll on the human body. As it altars the energies the human body creates limiting its uses as the human can no longer use any form of materia. Not to mention any fire that they conjure from their powers takes on shades of black blue and purple, instead of their normal blends of red, yellow, and orange. Requirements: Dragonic Hybrid Experiment. Effects: Dragonic Hybrid Experiments can not use any form of materia. Something with the traits you listed wouldn’t really have a use for materia would they? All their MP is being used up for godly powers. Not much of a drawback. Weapon Degradation Description: With the Dragonic energies strengthening powers comes its dark downside. As materials aside from crystal and diamond degrade quickly under its influence. Requirements: Dragonic Hybrid Experiment, Dragon strength. Effect: Causes any material under the influence of Dragonic strength aside from crystal and diamond to degrade by the users magic stat per post permanently. Cost: None. I don't consider this a weakness at all considering your weapon boost. Just buy yourself a nice cheap 600 Gil crystal weapon and you're all set! Edited by Galileo, Jul 25 2009, 04:31 PM.

Doesn't particularly like the Art of Fighting, but definitely wants to be the King of Fighters.

"Any form" of Materia includes Command and Support Materia, so it's not just the fact that he only has his innate abilities to actually use MP, but he's locked out of the 'free' accuracy boosting and damage boosting from Assault Twister and Jump respectively, and also of the HP and MP boosting Materia, as examples. Oh, and we've approved bigger power boosts than that for not much more:
Whereas this ability you claim overpowered adds half the boost for 5 MP. Then again, we could just increase the MP usage if that will make you happy. Maybe for the other one, we could set a fixed time limit for it, maybe 5 turns, and after then, he either faints from exhaustion or takes stat penalties equal to or greater than the original boosts for the remainder of the thread. This solves the problems of both the potential of having someone with a Restore Materia backing the user up, or eventually gaining enough HP to last over ten turns, both of which would render HP drain (Whether increased from this amount or changed to a proportion) over time a non-factor. |

Hold up. Hinotana's Revenge is not near the same as what he's doing. He's going for something that increases Weapon Strength/Durability. Hinotana's Revenge is essentially a dual-attack...physical and then casting a spell at the same moment of impact. What he's doing is more like my Level 1 Limit Break, which temporarily boosts the strength of my weapon by my Magic stat. So yeah, just clarifying that. His tech =/= mine. |
