I understand the problem you're seeing. I decided to make the LB simpler simply because I don't want an effect that has two paragraphs worth of explanations. |

Much better. This version requires at least 5 posts between activations, which is enough for me to allow a 30% boost with a Level 1 LB. +1/2 Approval, since I want someone else to look it over too. |

New LB request. Dual Cut [Limit Break Level 1: II] Description/Effect: Frank executes two attacks with his kwandao; the accuracy of the second one is not reduced. Instead, accuracy for each attack is improved by 50%. Additionally, the damage inflicted by the attacks ignores damage reductions including those provided by armor and endurance. However, damage = (Frank’s Strength*0.6)+Weapon Strength for each attack. Cost: None Edited by Galileo, Aug 27 2009, 08:03 PM.

Does this mean that, after the limit break is activated, the first attack is increased by 50% and then the second attack is increased by 50% again? Or is it that both strikes are increased by 50% from the normal accuracy? |

I'm going for a different level 1 instead of Duel Cut. Instant Escape [Limit Break Level 1: II] Description: After having received a steady supply of damage from a supremely fast opponent, you know victory is impossible. When your life is on the line in such situations, all you can think about is escaping. Think hard enough and the wonderful life energy remaining inside of you may just take you somewhere else for your own safety. Effect: Teleports you and whatever and whoever you wish to take with you to safety, instantly avoiding all attacks aimed toward you for one post. Base HP*0.3 = number of meters in distance that you may teleport away from your previous location. You must be touching whatever and whoever you wish to take with you in order for this limit break to teleport them as well. Cost: None Edited by Galileo, Sep 8 2009, 11:11 AM.

Doesn't particularly like the Art of Fighting, but definitely wants to be the King of Fighters.
|
I'd see it being that number in feet (as Celest's Leap limit break was) rather than meters. That and your version can be used to carry others away from the battle as well. In its current form, this is probably level 2, so you should probably declare it as such. Edited by KurisuMurei, Sep 8 2009, 11:34 AM.

Frank's current HP is 220. Let's say he had this now in its current form. It would enable him to teleport 66 meters, which would be about 216.5 in feet. In its current state, it does not even let him travel his Base HP in feet. Edit: I looked at Celest's Leap LB and decided to edit mine a bit. Instant Escape [Limit Break Level 1: II] Description: After having received a steady supply of damage from a supremely fast opponent, you know victory is impossible. Think hard enough and the wonderful life energy remaining inside of you may just take you somewhere else for your own safety. Effect: Teleports you and whatever and whoever you wish to take with you to safety, instantly avoiding all attacks aimed toward you for one post. Base HP*0.1 = number of meters in distance that you may teleport away from your current location. You must be touching whatever and whoever you wish to take with you in order for this limit break to teleport them as well. Cost: None At 220 HP, it would allow Frank to teleport 22 meters, which is a little more than 72 feet. Edited by Galileo, Sep 8 2009, 11:44 AM.

Unless you think otherwise Kurisu I'm going to approve this. It essentially only allows him to 100% Avoid all damage he would take for a single post, along with everyone next to him. As far as I'm concerned, unless I'm wrong, distance currently has no real point except to make a move seem more realistic so it wouldn't hurt or help the dodge at all. |

Keep in mind that this allows not only him to avoid one turn's worth of attacks, but any nearby teammates are likewise pulled out of harm's way. (Of course, I have a LB that allows protection against all attacks for a turn, but that's a level three because it also deals contact damage to anyone foolish enough to try to break it with melee.) |

Err NM he edited it since I first read it. Though I personally think completely avoiding all attacks should at least be lvl 2. Edited by Drathmar, Sep 8 2009, 11:58 AM.

Yeah, that's why I said approved pending your opinion on it. Honestly the ability to make others dodge with him could make it a level 2 but I wasn't sure seeing as how unless everyone was standing next to each other or an All attack was being used I couldn't think of many instances this LB would actually be used to save more then 1-2 people. But yeah, as I said, I'll resend full approval on the fact that one really can't say somethings good because it PROBABLY wouldn't be used a certain way too often. |

Confuse? I thought about including that, but decided it'd make it too powerful. Anyway, current version is approved I take it?
