Angeles snuck through the debris and garbage dumped into the slums by the upper platers. But, as she skimmed through, an old saying was brought to mind: one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. She bent down and lifted up a handful of glass that was broken, but rolled smooth like polished stones. She inspected them then dropped them suddenly and held her shoulder where the bullet wound was. Tseng was a good shot, always had been. She hissed slightly in pain but then smiled fondly when the pain subsided. She still thought of them as her Turks, and she wondered if there was nothing they could do, to make her think otherwise.

She shook her head slightly and chuckled, bringing to mind the reason she was in the sector five slums and continued walking, looking for her dear friend. She had passed by a ruined church not too long ago, and thought that would be a good meeting place, but thought differently about it, especially since she didn’t know Saeta’s phone number, so decided it was best to look for the girl.

It was then Angeles realized how poorly thought out her plan was, it could take hours to days to find Saeta, especially if she was wandering around looking for her. Angeles sighed and sat down by some broken boxes, rubbing her shoulder absent mindedly before gingerly touching the hilt of her sword. She closed her eyes and rested her head back on a piece of wood and closed her eyes in order to rethink her plan through.

Saeta stood and stretched silently as she woke up refreshed. The room around her wasn't what anyone would consider 'nice' but it had a bed and a bathroom, both of which were relatively clean, and that was all Saeta had cared about when she rented it. That and it didn't totally break what little financial stability she had. She looked out the the slightly dirty window wondering what time it was before realizing she was under the plate. Looking to the clock Saeta recounted that was why she always hated coming to Midgar, or at least beneath the plate. She missed not having sunlight.

The clock said it was nearly one in the afternoon and Saeta remembered today she was meeting Angeles. That was why she had bothered to stay in the room the past two days. That.......and she was dangerous now, to herself at least. The changes she was experiencing were very disconcerting and she had become very accident prone. The most frightening accident she'd had almost put her on top of a pointed iron section of fencing. However the accidents were becoming less frequent, which was good she hoped.....

One thing though Angeles had neglected to tell her was the time and place to meet her. Not that it mattered much, if she was still around the area Saeta could find her, She'd worked in all of Midgar during her time in Sentry and knew the area fairly well. She walked into the bathroom and undressed before taking a quick shower. The hot water felt great and she stayed in an extra minute or so before reluctantly turning it off and getting out. She quickly toweled herself off and got dressed again in her new clothes before catching a look of herself in the mirror. She looked good, she thought. Her hair was straight from the shower and she looked........She wasn't sure quite how she looked.

Different came to mind. She still couldn't get over her new eye color and it took her by surprise every time she saw it. Dressed in her new outfit she got up and exited the cheap hotel room before heading out into the sector. "What a dump" She thought as she wandered through sector five. The slums weren't the best of places, but Saeta had seen worse around the giant city. She wandered for a few hours trying to find her friend with little success, that is until she began asking around. She eventually found out a someone with silver hair had been seen near an old church.

Angeles wasn't anywhere to be seen when she arrived there though. She was still looking around for her when she heard someone speak."Would you like some help?" She heard before turning towards the voice, which was very soft and warm.
It was a girl, she had blue green eyes and brown hair and wore a blue and white dress."Are you looking for someone....?" She asked with a smile."Yes"Saeta replied slightly at a loss for words as Aerith walked over."So am I." She said still smiling as she examined Saeta.
"But you don't know where you want to go.do you?" She asked.

"No, i can't seem to find them...." Was all Saeta could reply." That's not what I said." Aerith responded but refusing to clarify. "However, if you're friend happens to be the girl with the silver hair who passed here then she went that way." Aerith said as she pointed behind Saeta at an alley. The girl turned and began to walk back towards the church looking back at Saeta one more time. " You should come again.....After you've found were your going."She said before walking through the churches doors and disappearing , she left Saeta in a daze.

Saeta looked at the alley the girl had pointed too . It was foolish to trust anyone in the slums but for some reason she found herself walking towards and eventually down the alley. It was long and went around a few buildings before coming out near what looked like the actual dump for the sector, though it might have been an improvised one. But there Angeles was on a pile of broken crates with her eyes closed. Quietly as she could she walked until she was a few feet away before speaking up."Hey. You know it helps to tell someone where you want them to meet you before you leave, right?" She asked sarcastically with a wide grin.

Angeles smiled at the sound of her friend’s voice and she opened her eyes to look at Saeta, “I’m sorry,” she said and shifted into a more upright position and continued, “I also failed to mention I may not be alive for our meeting, but I’m glad I made it through the days. How have you been?”

Angeles recalled that Saeta’s body had somehow rejected the S cells in her body and was now back to her real self, or rather, as close to her real self as she could be with Hojo’s fingerprints on her skin. She was glad to see Saeta in good spirits at least. She closed her eyes again and sighed happily, forgetting about what had happened the previous day. Being within Saeta’s presence was uplifting, friendship was a rare commodity for Angeles, especially with all the anti-shinra acts she was performing.

Almost as if on cue, the sounds and scents of a group of people surrounding the two of them put Angeles under alert, and she leapt forward and tackled Saeta to the ground as wood splintered and exploded behind her. She didn’t leave room for questions as she looked Saeta dead in the eyes and issued and order, “move!”

Angeles stood and drew her gun in one fluid movement and shot twice into the group. She turned without seeing if she had hit any mark and followed Saeta wherever she had run to. Angeles was not truly frustrated, she knew something like this would happen, but she hadn’t expected someone to be with her. She told herself that it could be worse, of the people she could have been caught with, Saeta was trained in military combat, and Angeles had been a Turk. They would be able to work together in this thing.

Saeta's grin widened at Angeles's statement before she realized it wasn't a joke. After a moment Angeles blurred into motion and tackled her to the ground right before the sounds of automatic weapons fire started streaming and the boxes beside them shattered into woodchips. She didn't ask any questions as Angeles told her to move. She did however glance back and see there attackers as Angeles shot at them, Among them she counted around eleven Sentry members in full gear with automatic rifles firing at them. One of them went down as Angeles's shot hit them in the knee blowing the cartilage out of the join and putting the Sentry out of commission.

She ran back to the alley and Angeles hurried after her keeping pace easily. The winding maze the alley created quickly caused the Sentry to drop out of sight, though Saeta knew they would be pursuing soon enough, minus the injured Sentry and the field medic.
"I've been good. She told Angeles as they ran before a sarcastic edge crept into her voice" And what exactly have you been up to ?" she asked with a sardonic grin. It was a rhetorical question of course but firefights tended to make the situation more serious.
They reached the end of the alley and Saeta stared at the church for a moment remembering the strange girls he had met there only a short while ago.

She considered fleeing into the church but it didn't seem right....She suddenly heard footsteps from the alley and turned standing ready for action as the sounds got closer. As they did her frustration grew and she wished she hadn't thrown her gun away. Not that she'd be able to use it with her eyes messed up. Now how was she going to fight. The frustration built until the Sentry unit rounded the corner, three of them took point and opened fire while the rest stayed hidden around the bend in the alley. A round clipped Saeta around her elbow and she growled and angrily slammed her palm forward on instinct. As she did a blue green bolt of energy flew from her palm changing the alley as it went causing green brush of a forest to cover it until the Sentry unit was blocked from sight. She heard cursing and yelling as she looked in surprise.

She stared at her still outstretched hand.It had a soft glow like that of Mako surrounding it, as did the rest of her she realized. She inspected the plants and realized she could see through them, as if they were ethereal rather than real. A second later a stray bullet went down the alley and she ducked narrowly avoiding it.She realized the Sentry could no longer see her or Angeles. As she did she immediately scaled the building next to her and ran across the rooftop halting when she was above the Sentry unit. She dropped down and landed in the middle of the squad , still apparently unseen. Without hesitation she punched the lead point guard in the face sending him toppling to the ground. She turned and kick another in the leg and knocking him out with a kick to the head as his knee gave out and he fell screaming.

The others in the unit regained their wits and fired in the general area of the sound Saeta was moving already an dodged most of them excluding the two the clipped near her wrist. She grimaced and hissed in pain as she stalked the hypnotized Sentry members.
She sent another down with a jab to the base of the neck before spinning and elbowing another in the jaw with her elbow sending him toppling as well. He screamed clawing at his broken jaw before Saeta punched him hard enough to knock him out. However one of the other Sentry fired in the direction of the noise and got a lucky shot hitting her in the side, the bullet entered and exited on her right side just under her bottom most rib and she gasped more in surprise than anything else.

She kicked the man but he managed to avoid brunt of the attack and he swung out at her missing by only inches. Saeta retreated and almost took another bullet as the 'Lucky' Sentry fired another burst at her. He was the last Sentry on this side of the bend and Saeta stared at him for a moment before getting an idea. If she could summon a forest what else could she make appear. She moved her palm forward and imagined lave spilling from the side of the building in front of the Sentry. He relaxed as the first illusion faded and screamed as the lava came toward him. Seizing the opportunity Saeta ran and tackled the man who punched her in the gut knocking the wind from her and covering his fist in her blood.

She steeled herself and headbutted him breaking his concentration before punching him in the head twice. He stopped moving . Saeta's breathing was heavy as she lay on the alley floor, her illusion flickered and vanished as she lay on the ground bleeding. Her head throbbed from the headbutt and she sat up in a slight daze and realized she didn't know where Angeles had gone. Her vision flickered a bit and she heard footsteps coming down the alley from where Angeles had been. Saeta felt lousy. Her stomach hurt, So she laid back in the alley and let everything go hazy.

“I tried to kill Hojo and failed miserably,” she answered Saeta truthfully without looking at Saeta, “my apologies my friend. My previous employment in Shinra made it easy to find me, and what they did to me makes it so that I can’t figure out how to disable the tracking device,” Saeta led her through a series of alleyways and the sounds of the sentry unit died away until they were suddenly ahead of them. Angeles’ instincts forced her to jump, other instincts spread her wing and lifted her higher above the line of fire, then, the sentries began yelling. Angeles was unable to flap and stay airborne in such restricted area so she instead grabbed onto a window sill and watched as Saeta began dealing with the sentries one by one. She was injured, Angeles could see that, and she dropped from the wall and ran to aid her friend. Saeta collapsed and Angeles instantly scooped her up over her shoulder, probably applying painful pressure to the bullet wound but right now was not the time to worry about delicacies.

Angeles used the strength she had to lift Saeta up and begin running, “whenever you feel like you can walk let me know and I’ll be happy to drop you,” she said to her friend. This was the Turk coming out of Angeles, they would joke to keep their focus clear and their adrenalin from running wild. Reno had the same strategy, and it worked pretty well. Angeles spread her wing to block gunfire, then she drew her sword and charged her thunder materia and shot the magic out towards the sentries that were attacking while sidestepping behind a slab of concrete.

Angeles’s eyes suddenly widened as images of the future flashed through her mind. She put a hand to her head and bent to one knee. She took this opportunity to set Saeta on the ground and she flashed out beyond the slab. She held her sword offensively and appeared behind the one sentry that had survived the thunder attack and he fell with several cuts to his body. She shifted the sword and swung it horizontally in front of her, using a fire materia to set fire to the debris around her. She stood among the flames, looking out of piercing serpentine eyes, just as Sephiroth had, not so long ago. Saeta’s illusion had confused the sentries, Angeles hoped her illusion would hold them at bay if not send them running.

Saeta's vision went red and she groaned in pain as Angeles lifted her over her shoulder."Getting shot sucks" She thought a bit incoherently. Her shirt was getting stained from the bleeding in her abdomen and she shook her head weakly in disgust. The next few seconds were uneventful but when Angeles spoke she couldn't help but laugh and laugh even harder as she tasted blood in her mouth. She stopped after a moment though, laughing hurt right now. there was a bit more running and Angeles was set down on concrete. What was going on? "Where's Angeles?" She wondered

She looked around and saw nothing save fore the plate above her a wall behind her and a slab of concrete in front of her.Slowly she crawled to the edge of the slab and saw Angeles defeat the last Sentry. As the clone set the surroundings on fire Saeta recalled the site in front of her, she didn't know how but she remembered Sephiroth , he burned Nibleheim. Angeles looked almost exactly like him.She pulled her hand back and flung another bolt of Mako green energy, this time at Angeles. At first nothing seemed to happen, the n Angeles's features shimmered and a twisted smirk crossed her face as the illusion set in. Her memory of Sephiroth surveyed the Sentry who stirred weakly and stared disbelievingly at Sephiroth.

Saeta separated her Sepiroth from Angeles making it walk around in an arc before slowly approaching them, at the same time she hid Angeles blending her with the buildings. Her Sephiroth continued forward and the Sentry fired on him. The illusion moved fast as the real Sephiroth seeming to block the attacks.Still crouched painfully next to the concrete she gave a bloody smile as the Sentry began to flee "Fall back!!" one of them screamed.Saeta gave a low chuckle and pushed herself to her feet. It hurt like hell but she could stand.

"Not bad........but still weak." A deep voice rumbled to her left.
She turned to look and saw a man in a third class SOLDIER uniform holding a glowing green sphere. She tried to get a better look but felt a strange tingling across her skin and threw herself back barely avoiding the Ice that flashed past her putting out half of the fire Angeles had summoned. "Very good " the SOLDIER said his voice brightening. "But.....not good enough" He amended. A bang rang out on his last word and Saeta looked up to see a handgun pointed straight at her. His first shot had gone past her, a warning. Now he fired and hit her dead on . This time Saeta felt it as the bullet tore into her, just barely missing lung before exiting out her back.

She spasm-ed and grabbed at the knew hole in her chest frantically as she failed to remain upright "Oh Relax. " The SOLDIER said scornfully haven't hit anything vital......yet." He told her with amusement. Saeta looked for Angeles but couldn't see her from where she had fallen but she must've been there. His gun still trained on Saeta the man spoke ,still amused. " So. I only came here for you......but this is too interesting to ignore." He said.
It took Saeta a moment before she realized he wasn''t talking to her. The SOLDIER moved closer, his gun still pointed at her until he was right above her before shifting his aim until he was aiming at her chest.

At this range he wouldn't be missing."So if you don't want me to pull this trigger throw away the sword, the gun and the Materia."He finished with a cruel smile.Saeta started to black out but the SOLDIER put his boot on her fresh gunshot wound. "Best stay awake...After all this is more exciting than dreams"He said.Saeta could only whimper as she was forced to stay conscious.

Angeles wondered at a sensation she felt on her skin that then pulled away from her. The sentries began panicking and shooting at random directions. Angeles switched her blade to a defensive stance and took slow steps backwards as the sentries continued to shoot and finally retreat. She stopped and then felt a chill to her side and turned in time to see Saeta fall from a gunshot. The third class Soldier advanced towards Saeta, his gun trained on her chest as he spoke to her.

Angeles’ eyes began to glow threateningly as she stared at the Soldier. They flashed in warning, and she began to move slowly, first removing her gun and tossing it away. The Soldier seemed pleased at the cooperation, but what he didn’t realize was that he was a third class Soldier, she was an ex-Turk. She held her sword defensively again and the Soldier glowered but before he could pulled the trigger Angeles shot forward. The Soldier was forced to drop the gun and draw his sword to defend himself. Angeles pressed him, swinging her sword left and right, pushing him back away from Seata until she stood protectively in front of the girl. Angeles stopped her advance and the Soldier retreated a few more steps before stopping himself.

Angeles held her hand behind her and used her restore materia on Saeta. It was dangerous for the girl to be unable to move, especially with an overconfident third class in the vicinity. She put her hand back on the hilt of her sword and stood straight, holding the sword horizontally against her arm, a defensive stance, but one easily transformed into offensive if needed.

“I have a question Soldier,” she said in an icy tone smothered in venom, “who exactly ordered my capture? Was it that lecher Shinra? His son? Or was it that cur Hojo?” Angeles had a guess it was Hojo, she was a threat to his life, as well as the Jenova specimen’s existence. Angeles continued to stand between the Soldier and Saeta, and she whispered to the girl, “Saeta, can you move?”

Saeta let out a gasping breath and shakily got to her feet as the gunshot wounds slowly shrank and disappeared leaving two small scars and a couple of bloody holes in her shirt. "I'm fine I think....."She said her voice trembling unsteadily. The SOLDIER who had been watching gave a low chuckle." I think you're overrating yourself.Nobody that high gave me my orders. It was Reno , of the Turks." He said with still a hint of amusement in his voice as he spoke. "And i don't believe he said anything about capture" He said with a twisted smile.

Saeta felt hatred well up inside her and she threw another Emerald colored bolt at him. The illusion was the same as the first. A lush forest that hid her from view. However as she started slowly forward the Soldier waved his hand conjuring a spike of ice to shoot out of the ground in front of her. She barely dodged as the spike nearly impaled her in the chest and she stared at him in confusion until he spoke. "That's an interesting ability........i wonder what it does.....well, no matter. It seems to only work on those weaker than you. And you've already proven you can't do anything against me Girl." He said with a confident smirk.

Saeta stared t him as blind hatred crossed her features. He was so arrogant......So self assured.......and so right. What could she do against him? She couldn't shoot anymore, the magic she'd used had failed on him and it would be suicide to attack barehanded..........She didn't know what to do. The Soldier looked at Angeles and pulled the blade at his side having dropped his gun."I'll tell you what, lose the gun and the spells and i'll keep the other girl out of it. " He told her grinning maniacally.

Angeles’ world shattered at the Soldier’s words and her face betrayed her shock. The tip of her blade stuck into the ground as she held it limply in her hands. Reno had ordered her death? Her favorite Turk. It took her all to not fall to her knees, the world around her was dead silent, she stared blankly ahead, not even registering Saeta’s attack on the Soldier. Flashes of the redhead’s face raced through her mind, he was smiling in every one. She knew he was dangerous, he was a Turk, she had witnessed first-hand the venom behind his blue eyes, his willingness to kill was second only to Samantha. Angeles had never imagined in all of her life, that killing intent would be directed to her.

“It’s a lie,” she whispered to herself, not really speaking to anyone else, “it has to be,” Angeles lifted a hand away from the blade and her eyes fell on the black leather that covered her palm. Her hand was shaking; she was shaking. A sharp breath escaped past her lips and her stance fell. Her breath shook as one about to cry and she hid half of her face in her hand as she stared dumbstruck at the ground. Her shaking became more visible, her eyes burned, “it can’t be true.”

Her hand tightened on the hilt of her sword and the tip lifted from the ground, a bit of dust falling away from the blade. Her fingers arched, and she could feel the bite of her fingernails against her forehead through her glove. She gnashed her teeth and tightly closed her eyes. Shock then gave way to revelation: she was no longer a part of Shinra, she was no longer a Turk, she was no longer human. The reality of the situation hit her like a shot from the Sister Ray and she came out of her shock in a full out rage.

Her eyes snapped open, glowing, the pupils slitted, and her gaze turned on the Soldier. Her expression sobered and she stood straight and tall but the malice was flowing off her body like a poisonous mist, “you will pay,” she said in a dark tone, “you, and all of Shinra. You will have hell to pay. But now, you die.”

Angeles’ hilt seemed to fly into both her hands and she shot forward, swinging her blade against the Soldier’s and she dropped to the ground before the Soldier could get his own attack to the clone and she swung her leg to trip the Soldier. He was agile enough to leap away, but that was his mistake; the air belonged to Angeles. She flipped from the ground and flapped her wing, grabbing the shoulderguard on the Soldier and tossed him further into the air then gripped her sword in both hands and sliced the blade against his body as quickly as she could, one strike after another, before she let the man fall to the ground. She watched him impact the ground and she held her hand out and a yell broke from her throat, a sound filled with rage, sorrow, loss, and betrayal, and from her hand shot a Thundara spell. It struck the ground and lit all flameable objects around the Soldier on fire. Angeles landed lightly on the ground looking at the blaze with utter loathing. She was unsure if the Soldier had been hit, and if he was still alive, but it did not matter. He would die.

As Angeles started shaking Saeta watched with concern only a few feet away. "Angeles?" She said her tone unsure. "What's wrong" she wondered. She knew almost nothing about Angeles other than she had been an attempt to clone Sephiroth and Saeta was surprised by the anger she heard in the woman's voice. She'd never heard Angeles angry, not that she remembered anyway and that in itself was daunting. She took a step forward but flinched as Angeles shot forward and plowed into the Soldier. She was awed and then terrified when she saw the results of what Angeles had done.

She should have been happy, the man had shot her, insulted her........but no one deserved the kind of blow he took. Angeles had severed sword arm and his hand still clung to the weapon, her slashes had to take away most of the flesh on his chest , the Electricty that should have been grounded out was so powerful it cooked the mortally wounded Soldier instantly. She looked at Angeles horrified. How could anyone do something like that? Her terror remained for a moment before it was swept away as another thought crossed her mind.

"What happened to make her so angry?" She wondered to herself. She approached Angeles cautiously and slipped her hand over the hilt of her sword , gently she tried to take the weapon while her left ar slipped awkwardly around the taller woman's shoulder." It's OK Angeles........you beat him. Let go of the sword" she said gently tugging on the blade. She didn't know what had happened to Angeles to make her so unhappy, whether it was just the cloning or something more. She did know it all stemmed from Shin-Ra. They had made her suffer. "And" Saeta thought as she tried to calm her friend "They will pay for all their Pain" She thought venomously

Angeles flinched slightly when she felt Saeta’s hand above hers on the hilt. Her muscles tensed further when the girl’s arm went around her shoulder, she however relaxed at the girl’s words. She turned to look at Saeta, looking into the girl’s eyes that had been so like hers not too long ago, and slowly she released the sword. She dropped her hand to her side, then reached up and rubbed her shoulder where the bullet from Tseng’s gun still rested, and was sore from moving so much. Had he actually tried to kill her then, had he honestly just missed. Angeles gripped her shoulder tightly and looked into the fire. That was that then. It was as if the diamond blade Saeta no held, had cut all the ropes attaching her to her human life.

She turned to look at Saeta, unable to discern the emotions in the girl’s eyes. There was no doubt that Angeles had frightened the young woman, otherwise Saeta wouldn’t have taken her sword. Finally Angeles turned to the girl and asked, “are you alright Saeta?”

Angeles didn’t think there was anything more she could do for the girl. She was not a materia expert, She had only been trained in basic first aid, things to keep her or her comrades alive if they were injured in battle and unable to be treated immediately. She looked down at her sword, remembered that her gun was somewhere on the ground. She wondered if Saeta would let her look for it. She smiled slightly at the thought and began looking for the gun. She lifted it from the ground and inspected it a little before looking up at Saeta and holding the weapon out to the girl, “do you want to hold onto this one fore me as well?”

When Saeta heard what Angeles asked her she almost burst out laughing. Angeles had already been through more pain than she'd thought possible and she was worried about if she was in pain from a pair of gunshots. But she settled for a grin instead. "I'm fine." She said still grinning. She went to take a step towards her friend when she felt a sharp pain in her chest and gasped."Yeah, i'm fine..........getting shots new though......Damn that hurts. "She said putting a hand over the bloody hole in her shirt. She grimaced as she noticed the blood before sighing." What a waste" She said looking down at her shirt before looking back at Angeles.

"Why is it everytime i remember meeting you i end up ruining my clothes?" She said with another grin. However the grin faded as Angeles spoke again."Not really, I already want to give this back to you" She said tapping the blade of the sword on the ground with another wide grin. However the energy seemed to drain out of her as she stared at the black blade."He was right though......I can't shoot anymore, I can't swing a weapon worth a damn.....I don't even know what the hell I did with those Sentry..............Whatever happened to me messed me up too.....I can barely see straight anymore..." Saeta said quietly as frustration crept into her voice.

She needed something new......she needed to learn to fight again...She couldn't sit by and do nothing knowing what she did.....but she couldn't fight without something as a weapon......She doubted even Angeles could beat all of her opponents with hand to hand...There was no getting around it. She was going to have to relearn how to move.....and then learn what she could do now......whatever it was. "Sorry, getting shot gets you down i guess" she said with a half smile....

Angeles was surprised to find that it was the first time Saeta had been shot. She had been in sentry, getting shot was sort of in the job description. Angeles was worried for only a moment, then Saeta made a comment about her clothes always being ruined, and as Angeles searched through her memory, which was a bit longer than Saeta’s she found Saeta’s words to be more true than the girl knew herself. Angeles walked up and took the sword from her and sheathed it on her back.

She looked at the girl and saw the distress in her eyes. She was worried about being defenseless, but Angeles knew Saeta better than that. She rested her hands on Saeta’s shoulders and looked her friend in the eye, “you have magic,” she said, “that’s the power of the Planet, that’s a strength not many can boast. And even fewer have defenses against it.”

Angeles stopped and remembered an old wutain man she had met in Wutai, who had informed her she was wielding the wrong weapon. He seemed to be a mystic, perhaps he could teach Saeta some things.

“I know someone in Wutai who is trained in magic, if I can find him, would you like to be taught by him?”

"But i don't know how to use it!!!!" Saeta retorted angrily" It didn't even work on him" She said pointing at the mangled corpse of the SOLDIER, her dismay was obvious. But as Angeles spoke again she thought back to the girl at the church. What the two said seemed to fit together perfectly."Yes....I think i'd like that....."She said. As she considered it she thought and remembered the girls last words."You should come back when you've found where you're going." She mumbled softly. "Ok, but wait here a minute" She said as she started back down the alley.

Sprinting the entire way it didn't take her long to return to the church and she didn't encounter anymore danger along the way. She was slightly out of breath as she leaned agains tthe doors of the church before surveying the inside. It was surprisingly bright and somehow the old place held hundreds if not thousands of flowers. Saeta only noticed them because in the middle of the small field Aerith was tending to them. As Saeta entered the girl looked up at her pleasantly. "Back so soon?" She asked curiously.

"I wanted to thank you" Saeta responded still short of breath
"For what?" Aerith asked simply with another smile. "I found where i need to go..." Saeta told her breathing finally steady."Then The girl asked her, her smile widening slightly as she did. Saeta stared at her for a moment before nodding and turning. "I'll see you again" She called over her shoulder. "If thats where your path takes you....." Aerith whispered to softly for Saeta to hear. Saeta saw her resume tending the flowers before she was out of view. Running even faster than before she sprinted back to where she had left Angeles." I'm ready " She said with a smile as her friend came into view.....

Angeles smiled as her friend accepted the offer then tilted her head in thought as she said to wait and Saeta ran away. Angeles obeyed and waited, taking the chance to spread her wing and ruffle her feathers a bit. She flapped it once strongly and put out the flames, looking at the remains of the third class Soldier somberly. Shinra was definitely going to be after her now. She needed to remember how to turn off the tracking device in her phone, otherwise it would be very difficult to hide from them, especially the Turks.

Angeles was allowed very little time to dwell on her new predicament as Saeta returned and said she was ready. Angeles smiled and walked forward and lifted Saeta into her arms without asking and flew out from the Plate. She flew Saeta to Kalm and dropped her off at Café Heaven. She escorted Saeta inside and waved to Tony who was behind the counter. Angeles was surprised that no one turned to look at her in disgust, perhaps they had finally gotten used to her being in the town.

“Tony,” said Angeles walking to the counter, “can you take care of my friend for a moment? I have to take care of something real quick, then I’ll come back for her.”

Tony looked at Angeles, then at Saeta and nodded. Angeles smiled in thanks then turned and walked out of the café. She spread her wing and again took off. However, as she flew her thoughts turned to what had happened, and she settled down on the ground again. She looked out towards the ocean towards Wutai. She stared at the ocean for a while, reaching her hand into her pocket and took out a picture of a little girl. She didn’t look at it, but held it tightly between her fingers, bending it slightly. A light wind began blowing and the clouds above began to turn grey. Her hair began to lift in the wind but she took no notice.

What am I… What have I become…?
