Approved Failed Experiment: Mako-Induced Undead Appearance: Whatever the person looked like in life, except they're much more pale and decayed. They can range from blemished skin to pure skeleton. Personality: However they were in life, except now they have to live with knowing their dead. Background: Resurrected courtesy a Necromancer. Traits: For every major advantage you give the Experiment, you must give an equal or greater disadvantage or several disadvantage. Failed Experiments get no Unique Abilities beyond the ones you can request for your personal character. Name: Undeath Description: Because of the exposure you had to Mako while alive, your 'spirit' was fooled in death. Because of the Mako within your body, your spirit believed it was already in the Life Stream and remained in the body. As time went on on, your spirit eventually did leave, but not before leaving its imprint in the body, creating a flesh shell with all the emotions, memories, and living qualities the person had before death. When the body is brought back to life, it gains a new connection to the Life Stream and rises as as the person it had once been with all the memories and experiences but none of the powers or abilities it had in life. Requirements: A Mako-Induced character must have died in an actual RP situation and then come back somehow. Effect: Character becomes an Undead, not alive but still able to access the benefits of the life stream like a parasite. The character starts out like a new character without any access to abilities, traits, stats, or items they he had before dieing. Name: Undead Qualities Description: As an undead, there are certain things which you are vulnerable to and other things you are simply immune to. Effect: The character has the following qualities: -Does not have an Endurance Stat. (HP is calculated normally. Character has no DR.) -Takes 50% less damage from Ice but 50% more damage from Fire. -Takes damage from Restore materia but heals from Drain materia (would heal for a value of half magic instead of drain it). Heal materia has no effect. -Immune to Poison, Petrify and Death status ailments. Name: Undead Body Description: Though the stories and myths all change between cultures and time, one congruent and true trait all undead have is their almost mockingly abundant amount of vitality. This does not mean Undead are tougher, it just means they're harder to 'kill'. However, this also goes along with the obvious fact that are dead and everybody who looks at you know it. Because of this, people are less willing to interact with you, especially in shops. Requirements: Must be undead. Effect: After each thread graded, the character receives a bonus to HP received equal to 1/5 the score given (i.e. score of 10 gives +2 to HP in bonus). When shopping, items bought are 50% more expensive and items sold are taken for 50% less than usual. Jobs pay only 75% of the amount they're supposed to. Techniques Name: Gravirei Description: By subtly changing the target of a Gravity materia, one can effect a person rather than a person's items. Requirements: Gravity Materia 30 Magic, 30 Intelligence Effect: Reduces the target's Dodge by 1% for ever 3 MP spend (max 20%). Lasts 3 posts. Cost: 3 MP for every 1% Name: Bidom Gravirei Description: By combining the concept of Gravity Materia with a Barrier materia, one can create a caustic shell of gravity around himself that drags anything in it towards the ground. The caster is immune to the gravity and the shell follows him around. Requirements: Gravity Materia, Barrier Materia 60 Magic, 50 Intelligence Effect: Lowers the Accuracy of attacks passing through the shield by 1% for every 4 MP used up (max 20%). Lasts 3 posts. Cost: 4 for every 1% Not Approved Edited by Grendel, Sep 27 2009, 10:49 AM.

Getting too old for this shit.

I noticed a couple grammar errors. Aside from that, I will reserve judgment for when the product is finished. |

It looks fine to me. Lots of disadvantages, but lots of potential as well. May the flesh that you eat be plentiful. [APPROVED] |

Edit needed. Name: Undead Qualities Description: As an undead, there are certain things which you are vulnerable to and other things you are simply immune to. Requirements: Gravity Materia 30 Magic, 30 Intelligence Effect: Reduces the target's Dodge by 1% for ever 3 MP spend (i.e. 30% drop would cost 60 MP). I like the idea. +1/4 to revisions and new stuff. Though the cost actually seems kinda high in my opinion. |

Lower the costs of these and I would prefer if you based the amount lowered by your own stats. That way, you cannot automatically lower someone’s dodge and accuracy to 0. |

Ach, du liebes bischen! I forgot the most important part! Name: Gravirei Description: By subtly changing the target of a Gravity materia, one can effect a person rather than a person's items. Requirements: Gravity Materia 30 Magic, 30 Intelligence Effect: Reduces the target's Dodge by 1% for ever 3 MP spend (max 20%). The caster is immune to the gravity and the shell follows him around. Requirements: Gravity Materia, Barrier Materia 60 Magic, 50 Intelligence Effect: Lowers the Accuracy of attacks passing through the shield by 1% for every 4 MP used up (max 20%). Cost: 4 for every 1% The cost is so high because they both have a constant effect for a duration of time rather than an instant effect. If a Stat based system is still preferred I can change it. Alright, they seem fine except for one thing. Specify the duration for each of them. I'm not surehow long either of them last based on their current effects. |

Well, Gravity apparently has no time limit, but Barrier does. So...I'd say pick your poison. |

Doesn't particularly like the Art of Fighting, but definitely wants to be the King of Fighters.
|
From what I've seen and played, Gravity lasts three turns as well. |

Hence I set no limit. I had thought there was some established time rule, like Genjutsu on NSL. Name: Gravirei Description: By subtly changing the target of a Gravity materia, one can effect a person rather than a person's items.
