Pending Abilities Pending Techniques Sword Cannon [Lvl 1] Description: Drath channels energy through his energy blade as well as through his dark wings behind him, as three balls of energy gather at the tip of each wing and at the tip of the blade. As soon as all of the energy is gathered, the energy on the wing tips fires at the energy on the end of the blade, and then the whole mass blasts out in front of him for a large amount of damage over the whole area. The attack draws on the strength of his body for the attack as well as that of the sword, channeled by his control over his own energy. Can increase damage to [Strength + Weapon Strength] * 1.5 for twice the cost of level 1. This technique allows him to increase the damage to [Strength + Weapon Strength] * 2 for twice the cost of the level 2 version. Can still use the level 1 and level 2 versions, and this technique replaces level 2. Damage is non-elemental or dark based on his sword at the time of use. New Ability: Name: Dark Blade Description: As Drath' soul turns dark, the last vestiges of any goodness he had is slowly disappearing under the weight of hatred. This darkness in his soul is absorbed by any weapon he has had for more than 5 topics (or his starting weapon) corrupting the blade and turning the material into a dark version of its former self. Requirements: 20% Alignment or lower Effect: Turns all damage you do into dark damage, however material based abilities no longer work. Cost: 0 New Technique: Dark Slash Description: After gaining the ability to draw on the darkness inside of him and learning how to fire pure darkness under extreme conditions, as well as with the corruption of his blade, he has learned to draw on his inner power and use his sword slash to fire a blade of dark energy at his opponent. Effect: Fires a dark blade that and does damage equal to his spirit. Uses weapon accuracy and speed. Cannot drain health using this attack however. Requirements: 40 Spirit, Darkness Falls, Shadow Slasher, Dark Inclination, Dark Blade, 25% alignment or lower. Cost: 8 MP Notes: Based off of fire which does magic stat in damage for 6 MP. This has higher requirements (1 ability, 2 techs, 1 LB learned, plus 40 in a stat instead of ten, 4x higher because hes not using a materia and damage is also based off that stat.... plus and alignment requirement), and has a higher cost, 8 mp instead of 6. New Limit Break: Name: Shards of Darkness [Level 1, Slot 2] Description: A black aura rises up around you, covering you with what looks like black flames all over the body, surrounding you in their darkness. It leaks out onto the blade in your hand, swirling in a spiral around the black blade. The aura pulses hard around you as you start to swing the sword, and suddenly rushes around the blade as you flick it around yourself, elongating it into its whip form. As it comes around in front of you the black aura pulses again and the blade separated into eight separate flying pieces of the blade, moving toward between one and four targets and each wrapped in the dark aura, in groups of two. If hit by the shards the dark aura from them wraps around the users face in a dark band covering their eyes. Effect: Separates your sword into 8 flying pieces, that have to move in groups of two, so they can target between one and four targets. Each piece of the blade does 15% of the damage of a normal attack (so if all 8 hit one target it would do 1.2x normal damage). Anyone hit by this attack is also blinded by it for a number of posts equal to the number of shards that hit them divided by 2 (rounded up). So if your hit by 1 or 2 your blinded for one post, by 3 or 4 blinded for 2, up to 4 max. This blindness lowers the target(s) accuracy by half. Drains as normal. Requirements: Level 1, 2nd limit break slot. Cost: None |

I'm willing to approve this without the "However material based abilities no longer work"
You can lower the requirements on this IMO seeing as how its a basic technique. Maybe 40-50 Spirit and just 1 or 2 of the abilities. |

New Abilities: Name: Resonating Darkness Description: The darkness in his soul resonates with the dark material of his weapon, both of them feeding off each other and bouncing back and forth, increasing the power of all his darkness based attacks due to this evil resonance. Cost: 0 Note: Based slightly off fist of the monk (30 hand-to-hand= +20% dmg), and it can give mroe damage at max, but it has higher requirements as well. Blade of Corruption Descrption: Each attack against an opponent leaves a slight taint on them, a bit of the darkness from his blade being imprinted upon them. Each attack after that resonates with that darkness, causing constant pain from old wounds and he absorbs their pain through the corruption, and each attack leaves new corruptions on them. Requirements: 10% Alignment or lower, Dark Blade, Resonating Darkness, Weapon Drain (Replaces this) 70 Weapon Skill, 70 Spirit. Effect: Each consecutive hit adds 10% more dark damage and allows him to drain 10% more health than normal. Also allows him to drain through his weapon (replaces weapon drain). Sure. Basically, each hit leaves a bit of his corruption on them (hence needing dark blade... an ability that corrupts his weapon to turn all damage he does dark). Because of that... the corruption left on the person resonates with the blade when he hits them (hence needing Resonating Darkness) and that resonating causes further harm to them. So each time he hits them, he does another 10% damage to them, basically.. the more he hits someone the more extra damage he does. Also since he drains health with every hit already, he drains health from the extra damage (so can drain 10% more health) per hit (normally the health drained per hit is maxed according to his spirit stat) I know its uncapped and has no cost, hence the high abilities required (one of which is spirit which doesn't affect accuracy at all, meaning he would need ot raise speed/agility to be able TO hit). This dark spiritual aura drains the abilities of anyone close to him, as his evil spirit and ability to drain saps their strength and feeds it to him. Requirements: 0% Alignment, 100 Spirit, Aura of Corruption, 500 total hp Effect: Decreases all opponents stats within [spirit/5] feet of him by 10% and increases his own stats by the amount they lost, works on multiple opponents at once. Cannot be used on someone whose spirit is 1.5x greater than his. Cost: 0 Aura of Corruption Description: The power of his spirit combined with the evil around him has become so great that he is now surrounded by a dark black aura at all times. The aura around him corrupts wounds on another person as they are made, the power of the aura increasing the damage caused as it corrupts their flesh and blood by entering through wounds caused by his dark sword. However, while his normal clothing isn't affected by this due to being with him so long, any armor he wears is corrupted and turns to black powder. Requirements: 10% Alignment or lower, 70 spirit, 70 weapon skill, 400 total HP, Dark Blade Effect: Adds his [Spirit] stat as dark damage to attacks made with a weapon effected by dark blade (a weapon that has been in his possession for more than 5 threads.) However, he can never wear armor. Cost: 0 Dark Mimic Description: He has grown powerful enough in draining the life force of others that, that now, along with their life force itself, he can learn some of the knowledge imprinted within this life force as it fills him. Requirements: 15% Alignment or lower, 50 spirit, 300 total hp, Special (Read effect). Effect: On a hit that drains life, can choose to learn one ability from an opponent permanently. However, that ability replaces this one and he must meet the original requirements for that ability before he can use it. Aura of Darkness should have a duration and should only be allowed once per thread. That or give it an MP cost per post used. +1/4 to Aura of Corruption +1/4 to Dark Mimic (I had to consider this ability for a little while before I made my decision.) |

As well, his evil spirit seeks to harm those who stand in his way as well as just harm in general, and so guides his attacks. However, because he has become so evil, light (holy) damage greatly harms him now. Requirements: 0% Alignment, 100 Spirit, Aura of Corruption, 600 total hp Effect: Adds his spirit into the dodge and accuracy formula's making them: Dodge: (Speed+Agility+Spirit)/2 Accuracy: (Weapon Speed + Skill + Spirit)/2 However her now takes 100% more light (holy damage) this stacks with the trait making him take 30% more holy damage. So he takes 100% + 30% light damage. Cost: 0 |

No offense, but why should I be penalized because OTHER people don't use holy damage. Also, if you look at Kyosuke.. has has Inner Strength, and Weapon Finesse doing kinda the same thing... in 2 abilities... however he needs 100 agility, 100 speed, 100 strength, 50 endurance, 50 weapon skill to learn both. So his takes 350 hp + 50 skill to do pretty much the same thing.. Mine takes 600 total hp... plus 0% alignment (which is the equivalent of 189 stat points at the least) and you have to be evil for all those threads. Plus you had to have a requisite ability so this really takes 2 ability slots, plus the potential to take double damage... I've made him so holy damage is his weakness, plus the weakness makes sense.) However, what if I made the requirements: 100 Spirit, 70 Weapon Skill (needs to be decent with the weapon so he doesn't fight the guidance from his spirit) 70 Speed, 70 Agility (needs to move fast and controlled enough it to actually make him hard to see with the aura) 600 total hp (so he has to have 360 stats (not skills) more than the minimum but can be in any skills) 0% Alignment, Aura of Corruption |
