(Technique) Darkness Charge Description: The darkness materia he has equipped or held in his hand feeds off of pain, and injury, usually causing injury by itself to do damage to an enemy. However Drath has found a way to channel his pain from injuries caused by others into the darkness materia letting it feed of of that as well. Requirements: Darkness Materia, 100 Spirit, 50 Intelligence Effect: When used, darkness materia sends out a wave as normal but instead of taking HP to do so, the damage is equal to the damage done to Drath so far in the thread, up to the AP of the darkness materia. Cost: 0 (Ability) Dark Control Description: As he has become more adept as using his darkness he has found he is able to increase the amount he uses in abilities or techniques beyond what is normally required so he can improve them. Requirements: 50 Spirit, 50 intelligence Effect: Doubles cost of techniques to double effect. Does not work on passive abilities. Cost cannot be reduced. Cost: None. The dark aura that surrounds him, and that his wings burst forth from, starts causing those who see him, and it, to be intimidated by him and fear him. Requirements: Winged Demon of Darkness, 200 Spirit. Effect: If Drath's [Spirit] is greater than the opponents [Max HP/2] then they fear him so much they cannot attack him. If someone is under the effect of Blind, Berserk, or Confuse, this has no effect on them. Cost: 0 Technique: Mark of the Dark One Description: Using his corrupting darkness Drathmar has learned how to recognize the mark of it left on someone who he has fed on before. He has learned to use a spark of energy when feeding to mark each one of these people separately as well so he knows who is who. Whenever he feeds on someone, it leaves a small, almost invisible black mark on their skin where the wound was once it heals. This blade also has weight, and substance to it, so it can be sheathed if he wishes to use his Iaijutsu attack with it. It also counts as being under the effect of dark blade when it does dark damage Requirements: Dark Blade, 100 Spirit, The Dark One Effect: Max strength of the spirit blade is equal to [Spirit * 0.45]. Max materia slots is equal to [Spirit/25] rounded down. The blade has a strength to weight ratio of 3:1. Note that this blade does have substance, and weight. The blade lasts till the end of the thread and must be summoned in each thread by paying the MP cost, and must be re-summoned if destroyed in any way. Cost: 1 Mp per weight of the blade + 2 MP per materia slot. 5 MP to change from non-elemental damage to dark damage or vice versa. So when first learned it would give you a weapon stronger than diamond with added weight and less materia slots. Obtained in ten posts instead of the normal amount that such a weapon would require to be quested for, for only an MP cost, and the ability to be even stronger than any other material in existence, even Devin's Spider Silk, and then become even stronger? >.> it needs limits. It summons a whip-sword blade made of his own spiritual energy into existence. The blades strength and weight depend on the amount of energy used in making the blade. He can also allow the blade to store materia within it, with more energy put into it, but the materia can never be linked. Additionally, by changing the magical energy within it, he can change whether it does non-elemental, or dark damage. This blade also has weight, and substance to it, so it can be sheathed if he wishes to use his Iaijutsu attack with it. Putting Fear the Darkness and Mark of the Dark One on hold for the moment. Three New Techniques: First Dance of Darkness; Dark Moon Description: Using his spirit blade, Drathmar slams it into the ground and sends a pulse of dark energy through his darkness materia as well as through the blade, and from there into the ground. From there a pillar of dark energy shoots up around a foe, surrounding them in darkness and blasting them with his dark power. Requirements: Blade of the Dark One, Darkness Materia, 50 weapon skill Effect: Damages target equal to users [Spirit] per 10 MP spent on the ability, able to spend 10 MP for every 500 AP the darkness materia has. Speed of this attack is [Spirit+Intelligence]/2 and it uses weapon skill for skill portion of accuracy. Damage is non-elemental or dark depending on what kind of damage the blade does at time of use. Cost: 10 MP Second Dance of Darkness; Dark Ripple Description: Once more channeling his energy through both darkness materia and his spirit blade, he sends a burst of dark energy forward at an opponent or opponents in front of him, as he holds his sword out in front of him horizontally, with the flat toward the opponent. Requirements: Blade of the Dark One, Darkness Materia, 60 Weapon Skill Effect: Damages targets in a arc in front of him equal to [Spirit] per 10 MP spent on the ability, able to spend 10 MP for every 500 AP the darkness materia has. Speed of this attack is [Spirit+Intelligence]/2 and it uses weapon skill for skill portion of accuracy. If it hits them at all and does dark damage, it causes the blind status. Damage is non-elemental or dark depending on what kind of damage the blade does at time of use. Cost: 10 MP Third Dance of Darkness; Scattering of Darkness Description: The third move where he channels his energy through darkness and blade, this time as he holds the blade pointing directly toward his opponent, arm outstretched. As he sends his energy into the blade it separates into a million tiny blades of darkness, that then fly at the opponent, surrounding and cutting into them. The multitude of tiny blades increases the accuracy of the attack as it makes it easier to surround them. Requirements: Blade of the Dark One, Darkness Materia, 70 Weapon Skill Effect: Damages target equal to users [Spirit] per 10 MP spent on the ability, able to spend 10 MP for every 500 AP the darkness materia has. ASpeed of this attack is [Spirit+Intelligence]/2 and it uses weapon skill for skill portion of accuracy. Accuracy increased by 20%. Damage is non-elemental or dark depending on what kind of damage the blade does at time of use. Cost: 10 MP Note: Pretty much Draths version of spells, replacing magic with spirit and casting with weapon skill, but with a higher MP cost because the first one has no partial dodge, its all or nothing, the second blinds, and the third has increased accuracy. Cost: 2 Mp per weight of the blade + 3 MP per materia slot. 5 MP to change from non-elemental damage to dark damage or vice versa. |
