Approved Abilities

Power of Vision
Description: After reading the memories of an individual, one is able to constantly tap into the connection they made with that persons mind. At any time, while meditating, the user can see what it is the target is seeing no matter where they are.
Requirements: 50 Spirit
Effect: Is able to see what a target is able to see no matter their location. Must meditate to do this. Cannot move, cast spells, attack or defend while doing this.
Cost: None

Art of Persuasion.
Description: A strong mind is one thing, but a strong conviction is another. One with a strong spirit can convince others they are right even if they are wrong. This charismatic attack can make anyone believe that the user is telling the truth and can convince anyone of anything if they are powerful enough. However, one cannot control another's actions, simply convince them of things to alter their emotions and mindset.
Requirements: 100 Spirit
Effect: Able to convince others of almost anything so long as the users spirit is higher than the targets (Intelligence + Spirit)/2
Cost: None

Approved Techniques

Beast Master
Description: A technique that gains complete control over a monster after using the Ring of Manipulation and Art of Persuasion. This causes the monster to follow you in any thread. At higher levels one can control more than one monster at a time.
Requirements: Ring of Manipulation and Art of Persuasion.
Effect: Monsters manipulated by the Ring of Manipulation can be controlled in threads after the first. Every 100 in (Spirit + Intelligence)/2 allows an additional monster to control after the first, maxing at three.
Cost: -30 MP at the start of the thread for every monster being controlled.

Memory Wipe
Description: Using one's ability to tap into people's memories, the user can make people forget chunks of their memories. This can cause them to forget how to use an Ability or Technique for a short time (Or permanent if they choose).
Requirements: Memory Reading, Art of Persuasion
Effect: Causes a target to forget an Ability or Technique for the rest of the thread (or permanently if the target chooses). If the users Spirit is higher than the target's spirit they can cause them to forget. Can only be used once a post.
Cost: 10 MP per memory erased.

Description: A golden ring that allows one to manipulate monsters who are weak enough to be controlled by you. This will only last until the thread's over. One cannot simply have the monster appear in the middle of a fight. The Beholder and machine based monsters cannot be controlled.
Weight: 2
Effect: If a monsters HP is less than your Spirit + Intelligence, you can control a monsters actions (They cannot be PC or Saga/Epic created unless the DM says otherwise). Control ends at the end of a thread.
Cost: 2,500

I get an additional one beyond the first every 100 in (Spirit + Int)/2

At 200 (Spirit + Int)/2 I get three.

Which would either be 200 Spirit and 200 Int or any other combination basically adding up to 400 in total between the two stats.

I also have to do the 10 paragraphs to locate the monster and if they get killed I have to re-locate one again.

So many of these monsters used will be a one time use in combat. But, it will be rather interesting for Character Development and story purposes.

I...don't know why...but I feel as though Art of Persuasion should allow you to do what the ring does. After all, you really can't god mod in a monster fight that you control.

Yes, but the ring allows him to completely manipulate the monster entirely. As if it were an extension of himself.

Art of Persuasion only has you forcefully convince people about things, etc.

Combining the two just allows him to convince the monster to stay at his side and allow him to manipulate the monster. :D

There are abilities and limit breaks far more powerful than this accepted already. Including one that locks the use of all abilities that the user does not know in one attack.

This one can disable one per post and only if they have lesser spirit.

The one that locks all of the abilities simply has to hit you. If you can't dodge it, you're gone.

This one requires contact and is able to be resisted.

So I'm going to deny your suggestion.

Hmmm as cloud said there is one like that, which is quite powerful, but also only lasts 5 posts and and is a LB level 2.

You already cover the Spirit requirement I was gonna suggest because of that in one of the other abilities.

Now here is how I compared the 2.

Lvl 2 LB = Lvl 2 Spell = 50-90 Spirit req
5 Post Dur = Thread Duration + for cloud
All Abilities no cost = Minimum of 50 MP for same effect on a new char. - for clouds
All abilities at once = one ability per post - for cloud.

All in all it is weaker, Imo but isn't a LB.

So... 1/4 approved.

Description: If Invictus has copied the memories of a target, their attacks become predictable and easy to follow. For both Invictus and any monsters he controls, their dodge against opponents attacks who's memories have been copied increase.
Requirements: 50 Spirit; Only works against those who's memories have been copied.
Effect: For Invictus and monsters under his control; dodge against opponents who have had their memories copied is increased by 30%

50 Spirit seems a tad low for a 30% boost, even though it does also require Sin to read a persons memories but that's really just a one time thing right? Maybe a 20-25% boost instead?
