Thoughts in Chaos

A story always begins with a beginning. Perhaps it may not be grand or overly spectacular, but it always fulfills its purpose: To introduce the world. So here we paint a picture, a long wavy line springs to life upon our portrait, on one side floods a deep sea blue and on the other a tan shore line. Upon the shoreline buildings rise up out of the ground and stand proudly into the air, and people begin to flood the streets and the beach. Ships appear in the bay and cars on the roads. This entire place takes a look similar to that of a sunny beach of Florida filled with lovely dark tanned natives.

There is a sudden sound that breaks the lovely silence over this peaceful place… in the horizon a helicopter’s blades cut the air… past the pilot and into the cargo hold sat a woman. She was still young by all rights, but she had a look of experience to her youthful eyes. If you had to take a lucky guess, she probably is close to her thirties by this point in time, but she is definitely still in her prime. She adorned herself with bright fluorescent blue, ranging from the highlights in her hair to the fishnet shirt underneath her sleeveless purple turtleneck sweater.

She shifts uncomfortably and leans back against a crate inside of the helicopter. Her blue green eyes mark her as a soldier. A warrior. You confirm this fact with the way she wears the smell of gun oil like any other woman would wear her perfume. At her side, leaning against her shoulder with the barrel aimed upwards was a bolt action rifle. There were several bullets in a mini bandolier near the feed ramp. This is definitely a custom rifle, the ring hammer awaiting to pound out any bullets is solid proof.

Across from her sat another soldier. He had a similar look to him, even if his face was covered with a gasmask his eyes revealed about as much as hers had. His wardrobe consisted of a long black coat and a plain black T-shirt. On the ground next to him was a sword that was ridiculous in proportions: If the blade wasn’t folded in half it would have probably been twice his height, and was easily as wide. His gaze met hers and for a minute they just watched one another with indifference. Then quite suddenly the man raised his hand… “Rock.”

The girl raised her hand as well, a slight smile forming upon her full, and very fluorescent blue lips. “Paper…” She added to this man’s statement of rock. They both raised their hands and lowered them quickly, simultaneously they shouted, “Scissors!” The woman had a fist out, while the man had a fist with two fingers extended, the forefinger and middle. “Rock beats Scissors.” The woman laughed, giving his ‘scissors’ a light thump with her ‘rock’ The man shook his head, refusing to accept defeat, “That’s just because you have sharp eyes or something.” He playfully glared at the woman. “I wonder if you can even predict my calls? Well Jackie?”

“Pfft. I picked rock last round too.” Cisco looked at her inquisitively as if expecting an answer. ’Are you kidding? I actually have to answer him? Bleh.’ Jackie sighed, “I figured that you wouldn’t expect me to pick rock again, so I picked it again.” Cisco shook his head and set up straight, “I knew you were a sniper, I didn’t know you were a general too.” Jackie rolled her eyes, “Seriously, we should play chess sometime.” She replied to him with an overly sarcastic tone. It suddenly got very quiet in the helicopter, as quiet as was possible with the noise of the chopper’s blades slicing the air.

Jackie stared at Cisco, and he back at her… They both broke out into laughter. “Gawd, we’ve been in this helicopter too long.” Jackie tilted her head towards the cock pit, “Hey! How long until we reach Costa del Sol?” The piloted tilted his head slightly so that he could project his voice back towards Jackie and Cisco, “E.T.A. Fifteen minutes.” Jackie nodded and then slouched much how Cisco was. “I haven’t been to Costa del Sol in forever.” Cisco raised an eyebrow and leaned forward, “Oh? You’ve been here before?” Jackie kicked his boot with hers.

“Born and raised there.” She told him, “Of course I’ve been there before.” Cisco shrugged, “How was I supposed to know?” He got up and walked over towards the cock pit, examining the city in the distance. “Its not like I’m a mind reader.” Jackie shook her head, she wanted to add another witty comeback but she just didn’t feel up to it for some reason. She wasn’t sure why, because Cisco and her trying to prove they were smarter than each other, word wise, was something that they did together on a regular basis. It was like a game they were always playing.

They were always playing games, she and he. Maybe she was becoming scared…yes that’s what that absurd knot in her stomach must have been. Jackie was scared that she would be alone again. For as long as Jackie could remember, she had always been the one to walk away. Sure she had had her close calls, for example the time she had a clawed arm stuck through her chest, oh and she could never forget the time a helicopter crashed on top of her. That one hurt a bunch too. She also had been shot in the head.

The list went on. Everytime though, Jackie got up and came home, even if her companions hadn’t. She was constantly being assigned new team mates over and over…It didn’t bother her so much that she was practically the only woman, but it seemed that she was always alone. ’Is Cisco going to die too?’ She wondered looking at him with pity. ’Its not like I love the guy or anything, but its just that, he has a pretty good record so far for being around me.’ Jackie hung her head and stared at the helicopter floor.

’I can’t last forever.’

’Oh? Doesn’t the same apply for me? I’ve had my second chance…maybe I should start counting lives at this point.’ The soldier pressed her lips together as she found comfort, oddly enough, in the sound of the chopper’s blade’s slicing through the air. ’I could say the same thing to myself…how much longer do I have in this career? I could die on any mission just as well as the people I’m with. We could easily all die together.’ Jackie wondered what would be worse, ’Being lonely? Or Dying.’ They were tough choices to be certain.

She raised her head and took a deep breath. Cisco would definitely make it. She wouldn’t let him die. That was a fact. This was her determination. Jackie felt it when the helicopter ceased to move forward and instead began to move downward. She looked over towards the Cock pit and saw Cisco grabbing onto the side of the arch that led to where the pilot was sitting. The helicopter touched down. Cisco walked back over towards Jackie and continued for a few more paces before throwing the side door open. The sound of the helicopter’s blade’s quickly overwhelmed the cargo hold.

‘GOOD LUCK! I’LL BE HERE WHEN YOU GET BACK!” The pilot yelled to her and Cisco over the sound of rotating blades. Jackie nodded and gave him a “thumbs up” before following Cisco who had promptly hopped out of the helicopter. The duo made their way across the helipad as the chopper’s blades began to slow down and rotate with less velocity. “These people don’t look like they have been seeing monsters.” This was Jackie’s comment concerning the people of her Hometown, the sunny coast. That was why they had been called in anyways. To deal with a monster threat…well they were here now, and yet the people were hardly cowering behind locked doors.

If Jackie weren’t a soldier…she might have understood their feelings still, but after leaving home to join SOLDIER so long again…she felt like she no longer understood this people. ’Well what do I care anyways? It’s not like I have any friends here. All my family is dead; my stupid mother committed suicide after her pimp died.’ Jackie felt a sharp pang of mental pain. She didn’t really mean any of the words she had thought, but she was bitter over the last time she had been here. It really burdened her heart that everyone here that she knew and loved was gone.

“Okay, I guess we got to check in with the Mayor’s office before we proceed.” Cisco said to Jackie…it was a suggestion really, but with no prior knowledge it was a pretty good idea. Even Jackie didn’t have a clue what kind of monster would attack Costa del Sol. “You’re probably right.” The people on the streets didn’t seem to excited that Jackie or Cisco were here. They looked sort of disappointed. “I bet its because we’re not celebrities or something…C’mon, not everyone can be famous.” Cisco commented. Jackie simply nodded her head and continued walking. She still remember the streets well enough to find the Mayor’s office without directions, and led Cisco there without much of a problem.

“Did you ever come here when you were living here?” Jackie shook her head in response, “No, but this place isn’t the biggest city ~ You’re bound to run into this place eventually.” Jackie replied, examining the meager mayor’s office. It was small, one story tall, but it tried to play off some amount of grandeur with marble steps and marble pillars. There was a clock over the door to the office. “I wonder if Costa del Sol has a fat tub of lard for a mayor, like Midgar does.” Jackie raised an eyebrow, “Midgar has a mayor?” Cisco began to laugh heartily, “That’s exactly my point.”

They headed inside, pushing the double doors open and marching towards the secretary’s desk. Of course it was a woman. She looked over her glasses at the pair. “SOLDIER?” She asked. Jackie simply nodded and let the woman study their uniforms until she was satisfied. “Alright. Come with me.” The woman stood up and led them through a series of hallways until she came to a stop at a particular door with a plaque that read ‘Mayor’s Office.’ ’doesn’t this guy have a name?’ Jackie wondered to herself. “Mr. Mayor? The SOLDIERs are here.” The secretary opened the door wide enough for the man sitting at the desk inside of the room to have a view of Jackie and Cisco.

“Oh good, send them in please.” The secretary only turned her head to Jackie and Cisco and moved slightly out of the way so they could enter. “Oh my.” The mayor said almost as soon as the two had entered the room. Jackie sat down so she would look less intimidating to the poor fellow but Cisco was oblivious of the fact that sweat seemed to be pouring down this man’s face when the room’s A/C unit had small icicles hanging off of the vents. “So, you’re from SOLDIER? They only sent us Third class SOLDIERs?” He sounded disappointed.

Cisco looked over to Jackie and gave her a wink. Yup…they had just been talking about that. “Maybe if you’re lucky we’ll die and they’ll send someone famous.” Cisco told the mayor. The sad thing was that the mayor looked hopeful that Jackie and Cisco truly would die. Jackie rolled her eyes. ’Yeah…just another tub of lard like in Midgar.’ She thought. “Anyways, tell us what the problem is.” Cisco questioned the mayor. The Mayor sighed and laid his head down on his desk. “Bodies have been turning up around the city…” Jackie and cisco looked at one another before they turned back to the Mayor.

“Bodies? If this is a serial killer, you should have just sent the local Sentry units to deal with him.” The Mayor shook his head, “The autopsy results report that each victim, after being killed, was implanted with a number of egg sacks into their bodies.” Jackie winced…what kind of monster laid eggs inside of dead people? It was bad enough that it was killing them. “That’s sick.” Cisco told the mayor. The man nodded, “Excuse my French, but the people here are scared shitless.” Jackie raised an eyebrow, “It didn’t seem like that way when we were coming here.”

“Costa del Sol is a big tourist attraction ~ the tourists might not have a clue what’s going on, but the native residents do. I gave a proclamation for everyone to stay inside and lock their doors…” The Mayor sighed, he lifted his head to look at Jackie, “but somehow there is always a body found in the street the next day.” Cisco nodded his head, “Do you think this thing lives in the city, or it simply uses it as its hunting grounds and lives outside the city limits?” The mayor shook his head defenselessly, “I don’t know, I don’t know, I don’t know. All I do know is that people are showing up dead, and I’m scared I’m going to be next.”

Cisco raised his hands in frustration, “Look, I’m not sure how we’re supposed to do anything when we have no clue what we’re dealing with. Why don’t you have someone show us to the latest crime scene? At least this way we can try and figure out what we’re dealing with.” The Mayor nodded, “Alright, alright…I’ll make a call, you just wait here.” The Mayor picked up the phone on his desk and quickly dialed some numbers. He had to stop and redo the number twice because his hands kept hitting the wrong buttons. At last he placed the phone to his ear and waited. “Ah yes? Hello? Harker? Okay, Harker, I need you to come down to the Mayor’s office and escort some SOLDIER to the crime scene. There is only two of them. 3rd class. I would have felt safer too, but we’ll just have to hope that they do their jobs.”

The Mayor hung up the phone with a resounding click. There was silence now. The mayor looked back and forth between Jackie and Cisco and nervously tapped his fingers. “We’ll wait in the lobby.” Jackie suggested at last. “Would you? Oh that’d be great.” The mayor sighed, as Jackie tugged on Cisco’s arm and pulled him out of the Mayor’s office. Jackie waved goodbye to the mayor before closing the door. “What was that about?” Cisco questioned her. “Do I even need to say anything?” Cisco shrugged, “I guess not.” They left and found some seats in the lobby as they waited for the man called Harker to arrive.

After an hour, the doors opened and a man with a hair of pure white entered the Mayor’s office. He eyed Jackie and Cisco for a moment before asking, “Are you the SOLDIERs the mayor sent me here for?” Jackie nodded before standing up and going over to meet him. She noted that even with his white hair, Harker seemed to be pretty young. Younger than she was definitely. “Come on Cisco.” She waved for Cisco to follow her. When he didn’t respond she went over and kicked him in the shin. “OW! What was that for?” He questioned, angrily pointing an accusing finger at Jackie. “You dozed off, now lets go.”

Cisco looked over at Harker who had just arrived, “Oh. Harker?” Harker nodded patiently. “Right. Lead the way please.” Harker simply turned around and began to walk out the exited. Cisco waved for Jackie to follow after him first, Jackie on the other hand tilted her head for Cisco to follow behind Harker. “I insist…Ladies first.” Jackie sighed and stepped through the doors, “I didn’t know you were such a gentleman.” Cisco shook his head, “I’m not really, but I’d rather look at a cute ass than a flat one.” Jackie punched him on the shoulder…hard. “Perv. I catch you staring, you’re going to find yourself six inches shorter.”

“Wait what? What’s that supposed to mean?” Jackie laughed at him, taunting him with, “I’ll tell you when you’re older.” She walked out the door after Harker, being followed by questioning from Cisco as he pestered her over her comment. “Seriously though, what is that supposed to mean? When I’m older? Come on…you only use that one on little kids when they ask about something awkward.” Jackie widened her eyes and nodded slowly at Cisco. “Wait…what?” She shook her head, almost in a defeat, “Later Cisco.” The path Harker led them on was very…well…quiet. The fellow didn’t say but two words to them the entire time and that was “Stop. Go.”

“Here we are.” Harker commented at last. The street in question was currently blocked off with some yellow tape, which Harker simply ignored and ducked underneath. Jackie looked at Cisco questioningly before ducking under the tape after him. “So, what can you tell us about the crime scene?” Harker gave a sharp look at Jackie before nodding at last, “I’m not sue what to make of anything here. The victim was killed about here I imagine… I noted that each person was strangled and that their bodies seemed to have been left in pretty good shape.” Harker pointed to one spot near a wall. “I’m assuming this is where first contact between the victim and the Monster happened…And then the victim ran here.” Harker Demonstrated by running to the spot he saw and then pretending he was the victim. “This is about where the monster caught the victim and dragged them down this way before Strangling them.”

“If I had to take any guess about this thing, I’d have to say…Intelligent.” Jackie nodded. Based on what he had already shown them, it seemed like a very educated guess. Cisco wandered over towards a manhole. “Yup…just like I suspected.” Jackie looked at him with an eyebrow raised. “Monsters like this always hide in the sewers…that’s just how the genre goes.” Jackie rolled her eyes. “Eww…why the sewers?” Cisco shrugged, “What better place to hide in than the underground network? It lets you move around anywhere undetected, and there aren’t that manner predators down there…that is unless you count Sewer Gators.”

“That’s just a myth. I doubt even an Alligator could live in the sewers of a city.” Harker eyed the manhole and examined it just like Cisco had. “Yes…The covering…here and there. Traces of sewer water.” Jackie examined it carefully, not really seeing what the two guys were seeing about the manhole. “Harker, have the mayor set up people to keep an eye on all of the man holes.” Cisco pulled up the manhole cover and was about to jump down. “Hey! Wait!” Cisco looked over at Jackie questioningly. Jackie shook her head. “I am not going down into the sewers.” Cisco shrugged and was about to jump down again saying, “That’s fine.” She grabbed his shoulder and gave him a look.

“Cisco…Your sword is too big for you to use down there. Its best if we fought him on our turf, and not his?” Cisco nodded, but then decided to add, “How do you know it’s a ‘him’? Laying eggs inside of people says female to me.” Jackie pulled his ear, “Whatever, just put the cover back on.” Cisco nodded and dropped the heavy manhole cover with a loud thump. He kicked the thick metal over the hole and pressed it into the small groove that was made for it. “Okay, Harker, call your guys and have them keep an eye on the manholes.”

Harker nodded, “I’ve already done such.” Jackie nodded, “Okay that’s great. Also! Make sure that we’re notified if anyone sees anything…as in…the second they do.” Cisco lifted the heavy blade off of his back and unfolded it demonstratively. He locked the blade into an open position. “That way we can try and get there before anyone gets hurt.” Harker nodded again and opened up his cellphone. “Guys, if you see anything, report back to me. I’ll send the SOLDIERs over there on the double.” Harker looked back over to Jackie and Cisco. Jackie nodded back to him and turned to her partner. “Where should we wait? It’ll probably take a while before something comes up.”

Cisco smiled and looked about, “Hmm...know any good bars?” Jackie shook her head, “Well…I do, but I’m not going to tell you.” She smiled back at Cisco and laughed at him. Harker raised an eyebrow before he made his suggestion, “Logically we’d like to wait somewhere near the center of the city correct?” Cisco sighed and nodded, “That sounds good I guess.” Jackie punched Cisco on the shoulder. ”More than good.” Cisco winced and began to walk off. “Alright, so back to the Mayor’s then?” Jackie shook her head and hung it low. “Back to his place..?”

The trio headed back over towards the mayor’s office, Jackie and Cisco sat on the marble steps before the double doors of the building while Harker remained standing. He began to pace, holding his phone in his right hand. Jackie could tell that his fingers were itching to press the talk button. All of them were simply waiting for the little machine to ring. “I don’t think we’ll be expecting anything until night anyways.” Cisco chuckled, “I think I’ll take a little power nap.” The SOLDIER spread himself on the step and covered his eyes with his forearm.

Jackie was so bored that she wanted to pull out her gun cleaning kit and began to oil and polish her weapon, but thought against it. It would probably be better if she didn’t because she wanted to be ready at any time…and as that universal law went, “If something bad can happen, it will.” She figured that if she pulled out her gun cleaning kit that’s when the monster would have been spotted. Once it started to get dark, Harker finally sat down. He couldn’t seem to sit still. “What did I miss?” Cisco asked, finally getting up from his ‘power nap’.

Jackie shook her head. “Absolutely nothing. We’ve been sitting here since you went to sleep.” Cisco frowned and sat up. “Jabus.” He was saying. “This thing is pretty picky.” Jackie held a fist out to Cisco. He smiled and held his fist out as well. “Rock.Paper. Scissors!” Jackie had picked paper, and Cisco had picked Scissors. He smiled and stuck his tongue out at her. “Haha, I win this time.” He pretended to cut Jackie’s ‘Paper’. They lifted their hands again. “Rock. Paper. Scissors!” Jackie picked paper again, and Cisco picked rock. Jackie covered Cisco’s hand with hers. “Paper beats rock.”

Cisco shook his head, “I don’t even know why, since Rocks could rip through paper.” Jackie gave him a skeptical look, “Its just a children’s game.” Cisco nodded, and raised his hands in his defense. “Yeah, but I’d like to play a game that makes sense.” Jackie tilted her head quizzically. “Like what?” Cisco made two fists and then held out his forefingers of either fist and pointed them towards Jackie. “Like Chopsticks for example. Its logical, it follows rules that make sense.”

“Right so how do you play?” Jackie asked, she naturally copied Cisco in placing two fingers pointed towards his two fingers. “Well it goes like this. We each take turns adding to each other’s hands. For example…however many fingers I’m holding up, I can add that many fingers to your hand.” Jackie nodded though she figured she would understand better if she actually got to play it. “Okay, so I’ll let you go first. Tap the hand that you want to add to.” Jackie sighed, she didn’t see the point of adding something to his hands when she only had two fingers and he two fingers…the result would be the same in her opinion.

She tapped Cisco’s right hand and he lifted his middle finger along side his forefinger. “See? Now its my turn.” He tapped Jackie’s left hand with his right. “What’s that mean for me?” Jackie asked him. “You’re supposed to add two fingers to your hand now. So you should be holding up three.” Jackie held up three fingers, she thought the game seemed simple enough. “How do you win this game?” She asked Cisco. “That’s a good question. I’ll show you: Tap my right hand with your left, the one with three fingers.” Jackie tapped his hand. He now held up all five of his fingers with his right hand. “When you have exactly five fingers, that hand is out. The person who loses both hands loses.” Cisco demonstrated by putting his hand behind his back

“What happens if you go over five?” Jackie continued, “Is that hand out still?” Cisco shook his head no, “Actually its not, it needs to have exactly five in order to be out. If you go over five then you just start over at one…Like if you had four and I had three, and your tapped me. I would end up with two fingers instead of seven.” Harker suddenly got a phone call. Jackie and Cisco both grabbed their weapons, Cisco held his over his shoulder, while Jackie patiently held hers at her side. “We got it.” Harker told the pair.

“Where!?” Jackie exclaimed, her feet wanted to run, but without the knowledge of where to she felt like she was planted into a block of cement. “Ordu’s Plaza, by the beach!” Jackie knew exactly where that was. “Lets go Cisco!” She yelled to her companion. The two charged through the empty streets of Costa del Sol. It always seemed like an odd place to be at during the night, it didn’t help that the place’s name was the coast of the sun. Jackie burst down the street and noted a bike sitting sideways against the street. She ran towards it, lifted it up and threw her legs around. “G bike. Hell yeah.”

She started the engine and quickly roared the machine to life. Cisco hopped onto the back of the bike, holding his sword over his back so that it dragged on the street behind them, creating sparks. “Damn it…I’m sitting in the back.” He complained as Jackie burnt rubber down the street. She made a hard turn, the G bike almost pummeled into a building, but the wheels caught just before it did and the bike went down the next street. “What’s so bad about sitting in the back of a bike?” Cisco looked upwards into the sky, “Do I really have to answer that? Women sit in the back. So that makes me the woman of this relationship.”

Jackie scoffed. “What? What kind of stupid thing is that? Another one of your unwritten laws of manhood?” Cisco nodded, “Hell yeah, and for good reason too. You gals don’t get wood.” Jackie was beginning to feel what he meant. “Cisco…” Cisco shrugged, “What? I can’t control that thing, it has a mind of its own.” Jackie shook her head as she turned another corner. “Cisco…” She simply stated again. “What?” Jackie elbowed the man so that he fell off of the bike. “Good bye Cisco.” She told him, driving off alone. She could here him yelling after her, something like, “Hey! What was that for!?”

Knocking Cisco off of the G bike did two things. The first thing it did was make it so that the bike went faster since it no longer had the extra weight, the next it did…Pay back for freaking her out. It wasn’t exactly the most reassuring feeling to have something hard rubbing against your backside. Jackie rolled her eyes to herself and sped down the street. She took another sharp turn onto the plaza and immediately saw the creature exuding from the Sewers.

“Yo.” She yelled to it. She held up her gun with her right hand and fired a bahamut v.2 into the monster. The man watching the man hole began to make his escape, where as the monster had been choking him before. The energy beam ate through the monster’s tentacles and flesh leaving a mass of monster flesh flailing about on the ground. When the G Bike Lurched forward into the monster Jackie hopped off and let the bike slam into the monster so that it would not be able to escape back into the man hole.

Jackie lifted up her rifle and quickly took aim at the G bike’s fuel tank. She fired. The bike exploded, creating a massive fireball of tentacles and G bike Parts. Something suddenly shot out of the mass of flame and flesh into her side. She screamed as it pierced through her body and kept going. It lifted her up into the air. Jackie pulled out the knife she had in her boot and sliced the tentacle. She fell to the ground and rolled over grabbing her gun. She opened fire several more times into the monster, but it continued forward. Jackie began to retreat.

She ripped the remaining tentacle from her body and ran back the way she had come. Something wrapped around her arms and throat. Soon it wrapped around her chest and began to squeeze the air out of her body. She gasped for air in vain and watched with tear filled eyes as something that looked like a stinger hovered in front of her face. It was bulbous enough to be carrying the eggs that had been injected into other victims. Jackie gritted her teeth and tried to use the strength SOLDIER had given her through the Mako Infusion process only to find that she didn’t have any left.

“JACKIE!!!” was the yell of Cisco as he leapt from a nearby roof and sliced the tentacles between Jackie and the monster. Jackie felt the monster immediately slacken as she fell to the ground again. She coughed and reached for her gun as she looked up to see the severed stinger on the ground in front of her. “Are you alright.” Jackie examined her wound as she popped another bullet into the feed ramp of her rifle. “I’m hurt.” She simply answered. Whether it was life threatening or not she couldn’t tell…the adrenaline wouldn’t even let her feel the pain.

“You’re DEAD~!”Cisco Swung his mighty sword and sliced the monster Horizontally and smashed both the monster and the blade into a nearby building. The monster crippled began to writhe and crawl away but Cisco lifted his giant sword and smashed it into the street creating an indention in the ground. “You’re Mine Fucker.” He told the monster, lifting the blade up and hacking the tentacle monster over and over again. He didn’t stop until Jackie wobbled and fell to her knees. “Jackie?!” He ran to her side.

“I’m losing a lot of blood. I can’t stand anymore.” She told him. It was true that her body was beginning to feel heavy. She couldn’t even lift her gun anymore. “Hang in there Jackie! I’ll get you to a hospital!” Jackie felt Cisco’s immensely strong arms cradle her. He began to run down that street, careful not to agitate Jackie too much… Jackie looked over at the monster dead on the ground, its green blood spilling out over the street. Some nearby people had come out to desecrate its body.

Don’t worry Jackie…You’ll be okay…Someone was saying that.

’Game over…’ Jackie thought. ’I win.’
