I remember Cloud saying something about being able to sell old Materia for a price higher than its value if it had a lot of AP... I have a materia with 2200 AP and one with 1100 AP that I want to sell and was wondering if this price increase had come out yet or not... Edited by Final Riku, Sep 30 2009, 06:21 AM.

Doesn't particularly like the Art of Fighting, but definitely wants to be the King of Fighters.

I heard that on selling Materia, its 'value' is equal to its AP, meaning that shops will buy it back at one gil for every two AP (standard selling value, varies with abilities and traits that affect selling stuff.) |

Kurisu is correct. So your 2200 Materia would sell for 1,100 Gil, and your 1100 Materia would sell for 550 Gil. |

Getting too old for this shit.
|
I thought the value was 2 Gil per 1 AP. If so, then shops would buy them back for 1 Gil per 1 AP. |

Then someone with a bunch of Materia Slots can buy a bunch of Libra or some other inexpensive Materia do five solo mission (or job, if they give AP) threads, and turn a decent profit. Keep in mind that Materia gain 4 AP per stat point earned, so someone decked out in full Adamantium armor and two Adamandium weapons, all with five slots, can build up 100 AP per stat point they earn. A perfect thread would then earn them 2500 AP. If all those AP went to, say, Libra Materia, which are 200 Gil each, then it would take 100 points at the current system, or only 50 under Gal's assumption, for them to be sellable for profit. any confirmation on this? or I'm just going to sell assuming they're worth their AP value = sell at 1/2 ap value + 1/2 materia value... |
