Effects: This increase the effectiveness of spells by 25% of Krys’s Spirit Stat (Cure increases HP restored by 25% of spirit/ Barrier and other magic has their strength or power increased by 25% of the Spirit stat.) [This increased number cannot exceed 50 points when dealing with barriers]
Requirements: 50 Spirit, 75% Alignment, 100 MP, 50 Casting, 40 Magic, Soul Awakening
Cost: 10 Mp

When you say this, you mean the 4 Barrier techs, I'm assuming.

Now, does the 25% add on to the time that it lasts, or to the strength of the barrier?

1. Yes I do Mean the Four Barrier Techniques.
2. The 25% adds on to the strength of the Barriers. But also notes this would work on Cure as well.

Ok, lemme run some math for a second...

Barriers start off at 30%. If you had 100 spirit, 25% of that is 4. So it would be a 34% block at 100 Spirit. But, at 400 Spirit, 25% of that is 100, so that would be a full block. Actually, a full block would come at 280 Spirit. That would be 70 added onto the base 30% block of Barrier for 100% blocked damage.

The cure part is fine, but put in a limiter on the barrier strength. Whatever number you think works.

Personally I think it is too weak especially as how people on the forum play now where it's not really freeform as it should be. If someone has the dodge to dodge this, most of the time they will say they dodge it despite it being a surprise.

how would they if it's travelling along sound? It would be far too hax if a person says i dodged a word. Ya know cause ears are normally open, especially if they don't know it's coming from a word.

I whole heartedly agree with you but im gonna push for this. Im gonna also make sure people actually follow this too when they fight with me or such. Thank you for your input. do you think the requirements are matching what it does?

Well, if that is the case then it will most likely be denied on the fact that it is an auto-hit which is not allowed on here. Things can be made that can't be dodged, but that can be blocked/resisted, or that can't be blocked/resisted but can be dodged, but this, if it works as you say, can't be dodged, blocked, or resisted, and so it needs to have some kind of resistance factor added to it.

Something like

Due to the surprise this can't be dodged, or blocked, and it takes effect as long as the users Magic is greater than the opponents Spirit.

Or something like that.

If it had a way to resist, the requirements would be about right.
